I personally believe that writers would be far more inclined to continue works if they were appreciated and complimented, as opposed to treated as some form of instant gratification to be churned out with little in the way of feedback and support.
I have 2 full length fics on the go right now, alongside dropping in to respond to the odd request and juggling life and studies and health stuff.
If I wanted to update that little drabble, I would've.
I've said it once, and I'll say it again. Writers put in immense amounts of effort to create content for you to enjoy, for free. A little kindness and appreciation for the energy we put in to our work goes a long way. Demanding for more does not. If anything, it just pisses me (and others, I'm sure) off.
We are not Orwellian novel writing machines. (Thank fucking fuck)

There are some specific rules to this blog that I figure I post here and on the pinned post just for clarity sake:
-I only ship with chemistry, and Sebastian will not default to being shipped with Astarion. He obviously has backstory with Astarion, but this can go in any direction, its up to the RP partner I have, and what they are comfortable with.

-Cazador is request only. Even if you request, I may reject the request. He is very low activity and mood specific, I really need to be ready to write him.
-Everyone will accept the glory of Baeloth. Baeloth is the only character here from Baldur's Gate 1 and 2. He is canonically still alive in BG3 times, however. Hopefully he might make a return in 3! (Black Pits 3 Black Pits 3 Black Pits 3--)

hey there, friends !
so. it’s may. there have been Many rumors about s5 production start dates. i think both david and joe have mentioned june as a set time, and apparently there’s a recent rumor about preliminary filming this month with certain cast members while others may be busy. idk. i Do know that there’s a potential for s5 to be affected if the writer’s strike happens -- which we should be hearing more about soon.
as far as we know, they haven’t finished writing s5 yet. earlier seasons were still being written as the show was in production, and even just last season, the duffers made changes and added scenes late into filming -- like the jonathan and will scene from the finale. if the strike happens, the way things are done behind the scenes could change, or production could be pushed back further.
things seem to be moving as normal for now. and we’ll know more as more news (about the strike + production) becomes available.
#i said i wouldn't post updates like this anymore#but i don't have anyone to talk to about this show and i love to keep updated on my own#and i think we need to be prepared for the potential of production being pushed further back in the event of a strike#i know there are like... casting rumors being thrown around and i'm not sure how legit those are#and with those rumors it seems the plan is for production to run from june 2023 to june 2024#which... we just can't know anything until it's actually happening#anyway. i'm doing a rewatch now and making more gifset plans and stuff#and i think i'll be back on here more after may 15th when this season of 911 ends lol#soooo many posts saved to the drafts to fill up the queue and i'm excited about that#also. can we talk about a wrinkle in time#like... it's literally all about love and hope and i don't know how they could be clearer about that#i hope they start posting books every friday tbh#not like i have time to read all of them but. research is fun#lex talks

I know I don't have the biggest Batman collection - but I like to believe I probably have one of the biggest Riddler collections! My favorites are to collect oddball merch ppl probs don't know existed (such as the Animated Series soap bottle and "soda" can LOL)
Tho these aren't even the most recent pics of my shelf! There are a few things missing (More comics / DVDs, an interesting storybook based on the BTAS episode If You're So Smart Why Aren't You Rich? which does sound effects if you press a button, a few t-shirts, art series funko pop, McFarlane Arkham City figure, a McDonald's Lego cup, a children's costume I found at the Goodwill, more crew socks, and that's all I can think of on the top of my head that's not pictured??)
I've been collecting for a few years now - so I take a lot of pride in it hehe.

Rin is snoring peacefully, with one leg hanging off his bed and his midriff exposed.
Yukio grabs his glasses and his phone, dressing with practiced noiselessness. He’ll only be gone for an hour at most. Yes. A distraction is what he wants right now, and he just thought of a suitable one.
The hotel’s hallways smell distinctly of jasmine and furniture. He heads down to the lobby and outside, keeping his steps swift. As he waits for his phone to connect, he finds a spot beside the entrance of the garden to pace.
“What’s wrong?”
Her voice sounds unexpectedly urgent.
“Shura-san,” Yukio says. “Are you busy?”
“Not really. You only ever call when something’s wrong.”

lol the poor little blurb that inspired this timeloop fic
i wrote it in 2019 as the intro to another fic that i ended up cutting it from because i didn't think it fit well enough. then i stumbled across it again in december and reread it and thought huh, this would be an awesome introductory piece to a timeloop fic.
started drafting, and now. approximately four months and ten chapters in. i'm considering cutting it again
#LIKE... idk i like the writing but it just doesn't relaly#fit the rest of the story#which is funny considering it's what inspired/kicked this off#i just don't want to have it there and have it mislead people into thinking they're going to read something different or confuse readers#because there's lines in there that are like oooh i wonder what this means and then nothing comes from them#im going to try to edit it again (for like the third time since stumbling across it lol) to make it fit the story better#buuuuuuuuuuuuut i might end up just scrapping it once more#i am sorry little blurb...... you have served me well... but i dont know if i can make you fit#not an update#also lol yeah i'm ten chapters into outlining we'll see how many more we have to go#i'm trying to wrap things up but it'll probably be a few more before i can manage that#it'll probably be 12 to 14 chapters? ish? that is my current estimate#although i havent been thinking too much about the post-plot recovery stuff.... hm#i dunno i'll stick to that guess

//Hhhh thinking about the Imperial Anon's bounty and where Darius is at in his current timeline - where he's at the trial of Tycho Celchu (hhh my roomie has been liveblogging her reading the books so while I haven't read them, she's giving me really good rundowns), and all we both can think of is how devious the Imperial Intel agent might've been - or even his superiors - to have Darius take the job at this moment in time.
//Because in his Discord timeline (which I'm still converting over to his other timeline) he was actually captured by Imperial Videre. (who are originally called Nor'Thumbrans, which translates to "Men of the North Storm" or Dar'Thumrbians which is "Men of the Dark(force) Storm") These Videre, being led by Ysanne Isard, bring him to the Lusankya from which he ends up on Ak'ritar, meets Tycho, and escapes. Unbeknownst to him, the Imp Videre did their bit to try and make him into one of them, including expanding his abilities to include force bonds. Guess who he unintentionally gets bonded to.
//Fastforward like 2-3 years when everyone's thinking he's cleared of any brainwashing or programming - and here comes an intel agent with just the right incentive to get him started and the programming does the rest.
//Idk how it would end for Darius but I know he'd slowly start sliding into that mando/videre hunter type and start trying to capture his quarry and use his catches as bait for the others. How far he gets before his force bond with Tycho jars him out of it is currently in the air, but oh boy, this new timeline stuff along with this Imp Anon stuff is just -chef's kiss-
