If I had a nickel(heh) for every time I had a favorite character who’s main color was red and he fell for a green/teal woman who is also my favorite, and she kicked ass for his safety, and neither were human, I’d have two nickels
Which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it happened twice
Me clowning myself that Roman/Gerri, Lenny/Midge, & Ted/Rebecca are all endgame even though there are only 3-4 episodes left of each show and nothing is looking good for any of them.
I can't believe I have not one but two ships with a bisexual 🩷💜💙, fabulous 💁♀️, magical ✨ PoC 👨🏾.
Alec 🏹 and Wylan 🧪 are a bit more different than Magnus 🪄 and Jesper 🪙, but they're both gay 🏳️🌈, both have pasts they're trying to let go of/move away from 👋, and both adore their beautiful magic men 😍, so it feels like there's quite a bit of overlap there too...
As for Magnus and Jesper, the parallels are obvious, no? Freewheeling bisexuals 💖 ahoy! (And if you headcanon Jesper's kilts as skirts 👗, as I am often wont to do, they both play with gender and presentation as well.)
Most of all, in both ships, I love each character individually and love how the ship enriches each of their lives and experiences.
There are myriad ways they're all different too, and those are delightful as well, but I find myself amazed and amused by the ways they're similar. Just. Like. Of fucking course the first time since Magnus and Alec I fall so hard would be for Jesper and Wylan... 🤣
Badass 💪 competent 🥵 bi 💗 magic 🔮 men and their badass 💪 competent 🥵 gay 🌈 partners forever!
(Are the emojis annoying? I hope not. I had fun with them.)

Okay but the thing people aren’t talking about (and I need to talk about) is the Gods marked that box “Return to Sender.”
Let’s think this through. The gods knew what was in the box. (Athena was annoyed/insulted/whatever.) The gods who don’t just give demigods big scary weapons that might later be used against them? The gods did that?
The Gods. But no, not really. Just one God.
The God who didn’t like how that man laid hands on his boy. The God who rent the sky with rain each time Gabe degraded his son. The God who knew why Sally had to pick a man like that (probably told her to pick a man like that after the sundae incident) but caused the ground to shake each time that man laid a finger on his Queen.
Poseidon knew what kind of man Gabe was. And he had Hermes leave that box for Gabe to find. Poseidon let Gabe make the choice but Poseidon signed Gabe’s death warrant.
"Well, this is a bad idea," Tim says, hands on his hips as he surveys the mess they’ve made in the cave.
"Nah," Danny replies, twirling his screwdriver in the air in what is probably meant to be an impressive trick to inspire confidence, except he fumbles it and it clangs to the floor loudly, "we good. If a younger version of myself hasn't come forward in time to stop me, how bad can it be?"
"Shouldn't it be the other way round?"
"What?"
"Normally, it's an older version of yourself going backwards in time to stop you, right?"
"Not in my experience."
Danny's grin is impossibly feral and a shiver runs up Tim's spine.
