HI! hope your day is treating you well, i’ve been interested in doomreed for some time but cape comics are sort of daunting to me just because there’s so much content and i really don’t know where to begin. what do you suggest? thank you!

It's a key issue oneshot with a lil bit of backstory retelling, featuring a private dinner that happens in the 00's - a good entrance point if you're curious about doomreed in summarization + generally speaking a Real Good Comic overall.

the fantastic four are one of marvel's darling old founding teams so there is pretty much... endless archival, ongoing, multimedia and games content popping up all the time.

They are also kinda one of the rare teams where the growth of the characters is consistent? The kids are allowed to grow older and events from every major run are carried/referenced by the next author so if you want to do chronological there's a lot of incentive and fun stuff.

What I'm reading/liveblogging rn is Hickman's Secret wars era, generally regarded as yaoi ketamine; It's a good epic narrative entrance point if you want to jump into it, and it eventually led into this huge marvel event that changed the multiverse and even brought miles morales into the main timeline, so its BIG and it happened in multiple books - the best way to go about it is;

Fantastic Four (1961) #551 #552 #553 ➡️ (these introduce main ideas we will touch again in secret wars)

Fantastic Four (1961) #558 to #562 ➡️

Doom appears in these too, first/last issues more heavily. Stuff here will be ref'd during the next era.

New Avengers (2013) ➡️ check issues on picture, or, if you're a completionist, look for 'Avengers by Jonathan Hickman; complete collection' and skim for the doom/reed relevant bits. There's a lot of characters here but this is a buildup to the big secret wars. Secret Wars (2015) ➡️ (All issues!) Infamous Iron Man (2016) ➡️bendis' doom writing is not very good but hang in there because right after him: Marvel 2-In-One (2017) ➡️ (All issues!) is a banger. Yaoi btw.

You can basically read all the future/past ones as listed, or starting from the beginning of that author's period without worrying, bc they aren't as indebted to each other storywise.

You can also start somewhere else if you want or check out other single issues on the reading guides; It's not a crime! There's a lot of stuff with different takes and genres, I'm slowly chipping away at the secret wars era bc its just very thick and like a serious television drama attempt, except its also insanely funny sometimes.

BFDI FUN FACT january 1 is bfdi day

BFDI stands 4 BATTLE FOR DREAM ISLAND

it is a webseries that lives in youtube!!! it has a few seasons. its an object show, in fact, the First Object Show EVER!!!!!

an object show is a show where the characters are objects with faces and limbs lolz.

Its mostly a comedic and chill series, with interesting worldbuilding if you pay attention. Though it seems to be getting serious lately with TPOT!!

On to the seasons!! I will try not to spoil.. WATCH IT!!! /nf but... please?

1: BFDI, 2: BFDI [BFDI Again, went on hiatus but came back recently] 3: IDFB [only has 1 episode? on hiatus 4ever. name is bfdi backwards]

the first seasons! ill just talk abt BFDI in here [and of BFB/TPOT in next section]

Here the contestants were battling for Dream Island! whoever wins gets to own the island which is full of cool stuff, and gets to decide who can get in

It was hosted by Announcer, a robot from space with a text 2 speech voice lol

each character has fun stuff about them and their personality or lore even... there is no bad characters in here!! And fun fact the first season was started just by a pair of twins!

4: BFB [BATTLE FOR BFDI] !!! its divided into 2 seasons technically. 4a [pre split] and 4b [post split]

Here appear... ALIEN NUMBERS!! All characters in BFDI so far were objects [except 4 David and Dora, stickman human scribble weirdthings] but these new guys are Number and Variable... FOUR AND X!

they are Weird and Mildly Unsettling, they're drawn wonky, they have wild powers and are quite random. X is nice, but Four is feared because he's quick to hurt contestants and even his best friend X. Death is common in BFDI [there are machines that revive people] but Four has New and kinda Scary ways to murder.

The prize in BFB is ... a BFDI! Yep! The first season of BFDI, plain and simple. But deepfried.

THE SPLIT AND SEASON 5: TPOT [the power of two]

Kind of a spoiler. Halfwayish through BFB, TWO ARRIVES!!

they offer Four's contestants a different prize... Their power. Their magic powers that are very cool.

Around more than half of the contestants decide to join Two's show, especially because theyre tired of Four's stuff.

Yayy...! BFB stays silly and TPOT goes more for character development and such.

Post split, Four gets a huge change. His contestants left and he feels horrible and a lot of people complain that he's whiny and terrible post split.

Onto TPOT!

Two is much nicer and doesnt murder people for fun. They're a pretty good host! This season is still ongoing btw! It really seems to be getting more serious. By BFDI standards.

Fatui Harbingers modern found family au, but it’s actually just them at Disneyland

The Tsaritsa and Pierro and Capitano like run an orphanage or something idk

The Tsaritsa

- That Mom ™️

- plans like weeks in advance

- “ok go have fun but meet me back at this time”

- buys Ajax a bunch of souvenirs and takes a lot of pictures

- “this is his first time at Disney, ok? I want him to have fond memories of it”

Pierro

- dragged into the schemes

- tries to spy on what the teenagers are up to but loses them

- has to sit with Signora while Scara goes on the roller coaster for the fifth time in a row (she got motion sick)

- stuck carrying everything

Capitano:

- cool dad

- wears the Mickey ears and a Disney t shirt (unlike Pierro)

- walks around with a beer and hot dog (while wearing bright pink mouse ears and flip flops)

- it’s like December

Pulcinella

- since Pierro is watching Signora and Scara, and Capitano is trying to help by going on rides, Pulcinella decides to stick with the Tsaritsa

- spoils the absolute shit outta Childe

- takes him on all the rides he can (since they’re both to short of some of them)

- the Tsaritsa leaves for a little bit to bail the boys out of trouble, and Pulcinella takes Childe to get his face painted and eat food

Ok now on to the kiddos!!

Dottore

- he’s like 17

- thinks he’s way too cool for this shit

- drags pantalone off with him to stir some chaos

- tries to prank the staff members

- won’t admit it, but is super interested in the mechanics of the rides and wants to learn how they work

- loves rollercoasters and tries to skip the lines

Pantalone

- like 16

- “actually the map says x ride will have the shortest wait time in 4 hrs, so I’ll make a note that we have to come back then”

- “the map says there are some good places to eat near here. We should check all of them out before we pick one. We only have so much money.”

- “ok so according to the map- wait where’s my map?! DOTTORE GIVE THAT BACK I NEED IT!!”

- doesn’t like thrill rides

- goes on them anyway bc he had to wait in line with Dottore, and he can’t justify the cost/reward ratio if he doesn’t go

Arlecchino

- probably like 17

- just wanted to have a romantic time with Columbina since she’s so into the fantasy areas

- was forced to babysit sandrone also

- they go to all the things she booked, but’s it’s slightly awkward

Columbina-

- also 17

- really into all the pretty decorations and stuff

- secretly loves thrill rides

- just wants to have a fun day with Arlecchino

Sandrone

- not old enough to run around on her own according to the others

- tags along with Arlecchino and Columbina

- bought an ugly rat stuffed animal as a protest and brings it everywhere

- gets distracted and has to stop to look at all of the animatronics

- needs to use the bathroom like every 2 seconds

- doesn’t like rides

- mostly just content to keep to herself

- drags Pierro into buying her a bunch of toys bc “Scara gets to go on all the rides he likes :(“

- it’s fully intentional

Scaramouche

- 8

- “we have to go on x ride now!!”

- “i don’t care what Signora wants to do, she’s boring and the Ferris wheel is boring. I don’t wanna go.”

- got a Lightning McQueen hat and refuses to take it off

- will sit on the ground and refuse to move until he gets his way

- either super excited gremlin or cranky lil kid, there is no in between

Childe

- lil baby Ajax my beloved

- he’s like 5

- no clue what’s happening, but he’s having a lot of fun

- completely decked out in Disney merch and has like 2 souvenir cups and a balloon

- very shy, very quiet, very much wants to go on the big roller coaster

- he is too short

- they go to a kiddy roller coaster

- he gets nervous and starts crying so they leave. And then he cries bc he missed out on the roller coaster

- they eventually do go on it and he has a lot of fun tho

hobi- just remembered this, when y/n, Ben, Alice, and Laura text about how hot the hybrids are I thin mainly hobi omg they cracked me up sm. The im married not blind part was so funny 😂

jimin- i don’t remember much from the chapter in September I don’t think we saw much of him but in this recent chapter OMG he was such a sweet pea!!! Y/n really went all out getting his HORSE shipped here. And jimin saying happy b day to join was so sweet cause every one’s warming up to joon after the fight a bit and I think everyone is warming up in general. Anyways y/nie goes above and beyond for her boys and ahhhh so sweet. He was so happy too you could tell he wanted to cry gosh. I love when jimin can’t handle his alcohol well I can just imagine his red cheeks eeek I hope we get to travel and see his family too. He’s defiantly been working hard on the barn, and when she mention he was shirtless at some point 🥵 I cant- im sorry I’m on my period that my horrible excuse anyways -

taehyung- him wanting to take photography and him taking pics of HER STOP ✋ no author u need to stop it’s too much like omg and when they held each other afterward I melted like I TURNED into a puddle of the floor and I’m only able to write this now bc it’s so cold here that I froze and turned back into my human form. She’s possessive and irl tae is too cause like do u remember the perila leaf débat he would get so jelly if his gf peeled off a leaf for a guy friend. The dinner scene where the waiter was making eyes an y/n and tae held her waist and GLARED that’s some dominance right there. I forgot about including the piano scenes in yoongi so I’ll add them here. the pic tae took of their feet sounded so cute and I’m glad yoongi and tae are getting more comfy w each other (cause I think yoongi chose to sit next to him asp) also cause when y/n was thinking abt how she didn’t want him to be alone 🥺😩 yes tae we want you to interact w the others~ Tae LOVES her touches too he reacts easily in just a snap 🫰

jungkook- ahh yes our angst boi- his birthday party scene was so cute he was so flustered and malfunctioned Sksks it was nice to see a raw and genuine part of him that was truly thankful for her that day I hope we get to see more of that. Jk annoying y/n during hobi’s run by giving her a cig omg I cant- this man’s needs to stop he just loves to tease. Such a sassy and snarky boy I’m totally here fir it all the way. And him picking a scary movie bc he knows hobi Jin and jimin will hate it lol. Him already agreeing to held joon and y/n w the wards before she even asked- really can’t hind anything in this house lol. I forgot to talk about this, but joon being upset w y/n and she didn’t call for him when she head the spirit threaten her 😩 he tries to pretend he doesn’t care but he DOES FR and Jk look at him like dam. Okay but that cliffhanger for the last chapter ofc u just stuff us full of fluff just to rip it out of us and I LOVE IT. I wonder what Jk and hobi/joon (I think joon was involved) fought about to make jk storm out like that although it wouldn’t be the first time. And on Halloween, come on yall! Smh 🤦‍♀️ ahh but he’s one of her boys so she’ll rein him in anyways.

Im guess there’s too much testosterone in that house hold or maybe they’re energy’s bc most of them are exotic predators and dominance is a big thing. I don’t remember exactly. Jimin - Y/N getting him his horse... my bestie who usually beta reads for me was like Dana no way lmao. I wanna have disposable income like Y/N, and spoil all the boys silly too!! I guess we can live vicariously though Y/N LOL. 💀💀💀 But Jimin so deserved to be reunited with Vista, and he was so happy to have a piece of his former home with him now. Jimin is such a sweet, polite guy, so him wishing Joonie a happy birthday proves he really just want to keep the peace. Tipsy Jimin is just the cutest stinking thing ever, I can picture his face so clearly in my mind! Knowing Y/N, she'll definitely make good on her mental promise to bring Jimin to see his family (I'm sure she wants to meet them too!) Also YES you're right, he was totally shirtless when he was patching up the roof of the stable... I would have passed out if I saw that, Y/N is a strong woman!

Tae - UGH Another one that is totally whipped for Y/N, taking pictures of her, including a couple at his first expo... even though only four were displayed at that expo, you can imagine he's probably taken dozens more of her, which makes me blush and kick my feet. He's definitely one of the more cuddly ones, too, so when he hugged her at the expo that moment was so sweet and intimate... physical touch must be one of his love languages. I love my men a little possessive, and I DO remember the whole perilla leaf debate (wild) and Tae being like that both irl AND in Trouvaille is just so... you know? He was definitely staking claim over Y/N in that brewery, he did not like that random man staring at his girl like that. OOF! 🥵 I'm glad you brought up Tae and Yoongi beginning to come around to one another. They have that connection of both being into music, and I think they have similar possessive feelings over Y/N. Maybe Yoongi will be the one who gets close to Tae first, we'll see!!

I think the longer time wears on, he'll let go of more of that frostiness and become more comfortable showing Y/N his tender side. fjdksa I forgot about the scene where he offered her a cigarette at Hoseok's meet-- such a twerp!! I love love love scary movies, and I feel like him maybe Yoongi are the only two that would actually wanna watch a horror film with me IRL, or Y/N in Trouvaille. Hoseok is a bit of a scaredy cat, and the rest of them put that off a little bit as well LOL. And for sure, there really isn't anything that can be hidden in that house anymore, there are ears literally everywhere.... bad news for someone who likes to talk shit, like me. But that's an example of Jeongguk being uncharacteristically sweet, agreeing to help Y/N even if he doesn't have to. Joon was so pissed when she didn't call out for him when she was threatened, but Y/N handled everything just fine, IMO, he was being a dramatic wolf.

You know I love a good cliffhanger!!! I can't not have one almost every time. Hopefully, this time, the conflict can be resolved quickly, and it isn't as bad as The Incident between Joon and Tae. We shall see-- or you may have already seen, in this newest update!! I'm dying.... there is indeed too much testosterone in that house, but I suppose that it is just something they're all going to need some adjusting to. BUT!! •The crow (the original first one)- Hot goth guy comes back to life to get revenge for his wife (they were both killed)

•Ginger Snaps 1 & 2- Two sisters who are close & love g0re. One becomes too girl bossy for the other to handle when she becomes a werewolf!!!

•My bloody Valentine- abt a killer who kills on Valentine’s Day. It was very hot bc he was very intimidating 😍😍 there’s a scene where he steps on someone and-

•Killer klowns from outerspace- Alien clowns. Very goofy & cheesy. The three main characters need to kiss.

•Black Christmas- Killer who makes weird phone calls. He lives in a attic with a white fluffy cat.

•Children of the corn- Kids in a cult kill people.

•Prom Night (1980)- This one is great because the killer wears a mask that has glitter in it. I don’t wanna spoil it too much but if u like the Halloween movies it’s funny when you find out who the killer is.

•Perfect Blue- anime movie. Ex singer deals with a lot of shit & sees another version of herself. Uh I dunno how to explain it well

•Airheads- 3 losers in a band hold up a radio station place so they can get their song on the air. The main dude is sooooooo hot.

•slumber party massacre- I’ll be real the movie isn’t that good but the killer is so funny. He breaks out into a song at some point & his guitar has a drill on the end of it.

•The lost boys- gay vampire stuff. Main leader of a vampire group is down bad for a guy who likes a vampire girl.

Uhmmmmmm that’s all I can think of at the moment :,) Other stuff I’m thinking of are movies that are probably more well known and not worth listing lol

ok i’ve collected my thoughts on evil dead rise so under the cut i will share them hehe!! THERE R SPOILERS UNDER HERE!!! i talk abt what i liked and didn’t like and i talk specifically abt scenes!!!! if y’all wanna talk to me abt it more feel free to send me an ask, i’m abt to nap cus of cramps but i will answer them when i’m up <3 lmk if u agree or not and what ur fave scenes were!!!

i didn’t hate it! i’d say overrall this is a high three or a very low 4, but i don’t think i’ll be rewatching this any time soon :/ i def prefer the 2013 remake but this was still enjoyable and i had a good time watching it!!!

i think the problem i had was i had seen the trailers (which were all clips basically? at least the official ones i found on tik tok were clips from the movie) and had spoiled major moments of it for myself. normally i’m okay with and love spoilers but i think i would’ve enjoyed this one in particular more if the few scenes had been a surprise to me!!

things i loved: ELLIE!!!! holy shit, i truly think she stole the show. the difference in her as human vs as a deadite was so cool, i loved her mommy shtick she kept through out, and i think she was so eerie (i legit had a nightmare abt her killing me a few days ago before i had even watched the movie and that never happens) so!!!! i also liked the story and the change of setting, it being in an apartment and confined on that one floor (for the most part) was so interesting and i loved the difference in the book of the dead from the other movies AND the vinyl!!!! the gore was top notch and i saw lots of practical effects which will always make a movie at least 2 stars for me!! also the girl who played kassie was good AND she did her own stunt for the elevator scene which was so cool hehe. i liked the more subtle call backs to the past movies in the franchise more than the overt ones!!

i rlly liked the scenes of ellie in the hallway through the peephole and how there was blood dripping over it!!! i I LOVED THE SCENE WHERE ELLIE IS LAYING OK THE GROUND AND BRIDGET AND DANNY CRY OVER HER BODY BEFORE LAUGHING. it was such a good scene omg!!!! also the scene of bridget under the sheet floating down the hallway following danny and kassie GODDDDD!!!! and not to praise deadite ellie again but the way she moves was so cool hehe, i rlly liked how subtly off they all walked and how it felt like they were getting used to being in a body again!!!

i also loved the opening title card scene after the girl falls into the water!!!! seeing her rise up in a blasphemous way along w the title card and have it reflect in the water OH it was so good!!! and the scene where the girl is talking and saying the line of the book the other one is reading made me go 😦😦 so!!!

also im also glad they didn’t include a tree scene, but they payed homage w the elevator wires. that scene was unnecessary in the first movies and is one of my least fave parts of the franchise (especially with how Certain Fans treat it) so i’m glad they didn’t include it LMFAO

things i didn’t like: most of the acting 😔 i feel bad knocking the actors bc obviously i’m not one and idk how difficult it is, but the acting from the non-deadites really fell flat for me most of the time :/ the main girl, beth, was so close to mia in looks and attitude it just kept making me think of her which wasn’t good bc i prefer mia LMFAO 😔 the acting from bridget was rlly where i found the movie lacking though :/ some of the shots were def not my type of directing style but i know they’re all call backs to the franchise so i cant knock them too bad but the weird split screen stuff that happened (only 2 times???) was enough for me to text my friend and go “ew” LMAO. i also hated how under utilized the other characters were! the old man, the young guy who maybe had a thing with ellie, the 2 kids. it was rlly obvious they were there to boost the body count to me which sucked :(

also side note beth’s acting rlly annoyed me towards the end especially in the garage with the close ups of her face and her lip twitching but JDNWKDNWJ again thags a personal thing so i’m choosing to ignore it when i rate the movie

the baby stuff w beth was annoying as was the groupie thing but i think that’s just me so i didn’t count it against them hehe. the scene where all of the deadite are telling beth and kassie “dead by dawn” was so fucking cheesy i couldn’t find it in myself to be even a little unnerved which sucked bc i kind of loved the combining scene but it felt lack luster at the end… some of the character decisions were also so ridiculous and i KNOW it’s a movie but guys. stop leaving ur weapons embedded in them. TAKE THEM EITH YOU. PLEASE. i know it wouldn’t have helped but at the end why r u leaving it up to chance??? i also thought the ending scene was a little meh with her not noticing the blood filled parking lot until after she was in her car? idk and to add to that, the opening scene was kind of :/ but i liked the drone fake out they did

How’s the second part of the Oliver coming along? Don’t push yourself into writing more than you can handle alright? Short and sweet is great too. Extending it to 7 parts sounds like a great idea. It’ll allow you to take your time and fresh out everything more. No cause I’m scared now that you said you cried writing part 2 😭💀💀. ALSO!!! With the exarch he and vesper are very much stuck in the pining stage in shb despite his feelings for her being super obvious, she is not only dense asf but also focusing on other things [like not letting her brother die] since she was summoned years before her brother was, she gets to spend more time with the exarch and the man despite having affection for Hugo [vespers twin brother and the wol of this verse] his heart very clearly belongs to her.

They have a very much friends to lovers relationship and everyone around them thinks it’s cute as all fuck! While he is the one cute and shy one between them, she’s the chaotic one and he just looks at her with intense heart eyes whenever she does some shit. A/N: If you didn’t guess from the tagline this is inspired by the song love language by Kehlani. I’ll probably do more of these with different shows and what not because why not. If I missed anyone lmk and I can make a part 2. Also please tag spoilers appropriately esp for manga readers, that being said spoilers for the prequel? manga on Yuuta’s part.

Plot synopsis: The 5 love languages; physical affection, quality time, words of affirmation, gift giving and acts of service, and how each jujutsu kaisen character shows their love and affection for you. Ft. a gender neutral reader!

Ok listen-

So for physical affection, Yuuji’s just that kind of person

He is all about giving to you

He’s holding hands with you if you’re ever walking anywhere, and if you’re not a hand holder pls pls pls let him hold your pinky he likes the reassurance

No but seriously he loves to hold you like yall could be walking in completely opposite directions and he’ll try to find some way to hold onto you until the very last second

And even then he’s all ‘:( babe imy’

Another way he shows his love is through quality time

I think for him this is the biggest thing overall, esp as a jujutsu sorcerer bcus you never know yk but also because you’re important to him

He also loves finding dumb touristy things to do with you while in Tokyo or anywhere yall go together on a mission

This boy loves you so much

He loves to tell you all the things he loves about you when you’re alone

But he’s a little awkward with his words sometimes, hence where acts of service come in

He’ll immediately offer to hold your things, run to help you train or study, and if you’re cold? He’s fully prepared to never see his jacket again

Also he can’t cook but he’s fully prepared to suffer hearing Sukuna and suffering through Yuuji’s antics if it means he can learn how to make your favorite food

He also will surprise you by making you a playlist of all the songs that you’ve had stuck in your head and sends it to you randomly out of the blue one day like ‘thought you might like this’

However the best of both worlds is when he leaves you little notes throughout the day or sends you texts asking if you need anything or just encouraging you to keep going

Negl he’s lowkey the president of the Y/N support club bcus-

You need anything? It’s yours

Cravings? Sad? Angry? What do you need bby, I’ve got it for you

Also he’s totally the type to be like you need help fuckin this person up?

Also before yall started dating, Fushiguro was a mess

Love Language: physical affection

So, she’s not the best with words, she tries but like someone help her bcus she is LOST

Like when she had a crush on you she was like “c’mere dumbass i wanna give you a hug”

In fact, she still is like “c’mere” but now you are dating :)

She loves you though and at first she doesn’t really know how to show it

But one day you both come home from training and you just look at each other like ‘yeah today sucks’ and yall both just held each other for the rest of the day

After that, she decided that she wants to do that with you but like always

She’s holding your hand, kissing your cheek when you go shopping, etc. etc.

She really loves to cling to you because she always has this fear that maybe one day you’ll get killed or just disappear so she figures might as well hold onto you for as long as we’ve got

After missions, she’s running up to you and if you aren’t prepared for the tackle, you’re probably gonna fall

On dates too, like if you guys have to meet up for a date, she’s tackling you

On the subject of dates...

She doesn’t mind PDA, and while she might hold your hand or arm so that you don’t get separated

She also doesn’t mind wiping food off your face and eating it, only to then kiss the spot on your face the food was previously at

She will split her shopping load between the two of you, however she will be slightly pouty if she’s carrying more than you (she then cheers up when she realizes she can do more shopping to “balance” the two of you)

In private she’s very cuddly and kissy which honestly isn’t that bad until it gets hot

At which point she’ll just say turn on the ac or convince you to walk around in a tank top (or something like it) so that she can continue holding you

All in all a very loving girlfriend who tries her best to show how much she loves you by glomping you at any given moment.

Love language: acts of service and quality time

So you’re telling me that Maki wouldn’t immediately go out of her way to make sure her and her s/o can spend as much time together as possible?????

Like she’s super observant (which can cause her to be a bit harsh, see Yuuta) but she can always tell what’s bothering you

So if you’re upset that you haven’t been spending enough time together due to her being out on missions or otherwise busy she’s immediately running to finish her stuff and spend time with you.

((She’s very sorry, but on the bright side she brought your favorites!))

Maki is also an acts of service type

This mostly ties in with her kind of direct action way of thinking

She thinks she’s slick but you can always see her sneaking around to do small things like grabbing your laundry for you and folding it

She’s very much like if you love someone, you gotta prove it

Overall, dates with her are very intimate and personal to the two of you

Like she’ll take you to a frog pond you landed in during a fight once

Or you’ll take her to a street fair that serves this exclusive food that Maki mentioned wanting to try

However, Maki shows her love through quality time and acts of service and while she does receive love from these to a degree, she is very much a words of affirmation gal

She’s not insecure in her day to day life but she has her moments, everyone does

Sometimes, she’ll feel like shit and a failure and all she wants is for you to say that she’s doing amazing and that she’s a great girlfriend.

Inumaki Toge

Love language: Physical affection

Because of his curse, he can’t exactly express how he feels about you through words

He does text you frequently throughout the day (I’ll have to do a hc abt that someday)

But he’d prefer not to be on his phone to communicate if you’re right in front of him

So he does the next best thing and just smothers you in physical affection

He loves kissing you the most

Like he could spend hours just kissing you if you let him (please let him)

But in public, he gets if you’re not a big fan of pda he’s willing to tone it down as long as he gets kisses later in private

He’d still prefer it if you held his hand or linked pinkies maintaining touch in some way

Also, unrelated, but it means so much to him if you try to understand his sushi language

He knows realistically the foundation of any relationship is communication so already he’s at a disadvantage because of his curse

But if he sees you like take notes after he says something or start to need him to text you to translate, his heart is swelling

He’s literally so sensitive please tell him you love him regularly

In return he’ll be sure to tell you how much he loves you too

He knows that he can’t really be there for you as much as he’d like but he likes to let you know that he’s thinking of you

Doesn’t matter the time, if you call, he’s answering

If he doesn’t he’ll cry he’ll immediately call you back and is apologizing for missing your call

You assure him it’s no big deal but the man has his volume turned all the way up and changed your ringtone to one specific for you by the time you’ve even said hey

Aside from that, he really is sensitive

He’s been through a lot especially with Rika as well as growing up alone and bullied

So for him, it’s everything to hear that you like having him around and don’t think he’s too much or anything like that

Of course, he gets better with time, trusting you and having the confidence in himself to not need constant assurance

So Gojo doesn’t exactly get to spend a ton of time

Between missions, him beefing with higher ups, and you and him playing parent the baby sorcerers yall don’t exactly get time to go out much

In which case Gojo tends to default to two options:

He’ll either go the extra mile to try and spend time with you

Whether that be an at home date where he tries and fails to surprise you with a home cooked meal

Or a date out at a restaurant or cafe (which you tend to visit after his home cooking efforts)

OR he’ll bring you various souvenirs from his missions

He loves to spoil you, and if he could he’d probably bring you back a whole store’s worth of stuff

But alas, airport security regulations

Anyways, he loves to spoil you especially if he can spoil you with sweets because it benefits him in two ways

He treasures all the time you spend together, and he does try to overcompensate for his absence with gifts

Despite your assurances, it’s kind of a guilty pleasure at this point (just let him, trying to argue just goads him on further)

He doesn’t only buy you small things, he enjoys buying you outfits

Before you got together, he would memorize your coffee order and bring you a cup pretty much everyday like clockwork

When you come out of you’re shared bedroom and he’s just scrooling through his phone like “mornin’”

Of course you already made the bed and ironed his clothes because relationships are give and take

So like Sukuna never says he loves you...ever

But he does notice if someone or something’s making you uncomfortable, and if so, said entity’s head will be presented to you later that day

You also just so happen to be the only person he can tolerate being around him for longer than 20 seconds

Bakugou rubs his head on ur neck because ur warm and he wants you to pet his hair

sometimes if you’re chilling and sitting face to face, he’ll ✨softly✨ slam his forehead with yours and u guys have a glaring contest

u lose obviously

but he’s there for that cute scrunch u do that’s meant to be intimidating

if he wants you to pet his hair he’ll even nudge your shoulder with his head so you can get the frigging hint 😤

and whenever you yawn, he’ll put his finger in between your teeth and maybe get a little excited when you bite them 👀

like he’ll say that a specific character died or sthing but they didn’t and u, thinking that he’s telling the truth, start ur stages of grief and he’s like “tch just watch, brat”

so you’re mentally preparing yourself for the death of that character and you’re complaining abt getting attached to them but once you finish it, it never happens

he’ll never really spoil it tho, he just loves to see your reaction

at this point, just don’t tell him you’ve started sthing

even then he’ll find out, I mean he won't purposely snoop around, it’s just cos u suck at hiding things babe

he wants you to tuck him to sleep

but it doesn’t happen very often because a. he won’t verbally say he wants it and b. it only happens when you’re not sleeping together bc he’ll just pull you into his arms if u do

but he almost never does it to you unless you need sleep more than he does or you won’t stop your whining

he just looves to have ur face be the last thing he sees and to have ur comforting hands tuck the blanket all snug around him

and oh my god the finishing touch is having you kiss his forehead
