Hello! Thought I'd take up Glitter's challenge to shout ideas off of the "caring for the chain" post, so here goes:

Jumping off of Warrior's part and the shoulder massage, I have a story line running in my head (that will probably never get written, just fun to think about through) where OC accidentally becomes the go-to masseuse and the chain uses her for weaponized care because they can sick her on the others when they won't accept help and they can't find it in themselves to say no to her–

It starts with Wind pulling something in his neck during a fight but he brushes it off, tries to be all bravado, but it keeps him from sleeping that night. OC wakes up to him really struggling with it, and offers to massage it a little since she also gets stiff necks from bending over a computer and studying constantly. It helps immensely, and Wind is finally able to sleep. A few days later, Sky's hand gets kinda frozen up from overuse/being clenched in a fist so much (a combination of both whittling in his off time and an entire day spent with sword in hand due to several ambushes). Wind picks up on it and deviously asks OC to help (despite Sky hissing at him not to) and once she comes over, Sky just can't say no. It helps a lot, and Wind actually wants to learn how to do hand massages too (so he can help his grandma when her hands get stiff from arthritis) and he starts trying to practice on everyone, much to their annoyance. 😂

After that, Wild gets a really sore shoulder and both Wind and Sky (like the gremlins they are) call OC over to help him. Wild, like Sky, is afraid to hurt OC's feelings (despite her clearly saying it's totally fine if they don't want her help) so he accepts. This process then repeats, and the ones who've already accepted her help get a lot of satisfaction out of sicking OC on the other Links and pressuring them into accepting care/a massage when they're being stubborn.

Last would probably be Legend, who either puffs up like an angry cat and flat out refuses, only to crumble under the pressure of the group when they say he's going to hurt her feelings (and then melts because that boi probably has some KNOTS in his shoulders from all his prickliness), OR would refuse and OC tells the others nicely to lay off and not pressure him; and then later, in a more private moment when the others aren't around to tease, OC sees him still in pain and offers again, and he finally gives in (and still melts because like you said he's probably touch starved) and who knows, maybe he even falls asleep right then and there and is really embarrassed waking up/on OC the next day, but feeling so much better– both his shoulders and his heart feel a little lighter~

Oh man- this is such a good idea. I should have done something like this when I got the prompt to give massages.

Just one by one- Reader comes in and starts collecting the boys like Pokémon to succumb to relaxation for the first time in forever. DX

I'm willing to bet Time get migraines and it's not long after Reader helps with Legend that they realize Time has been flinching and wincing all day. He's a little more unfocused than he normally is and there is a moment where he pinches the bridge of his nose despite no one doing anything.

These are some drawings I've done over the years that I'm using as samples for commissions. I don't have a lot to work with. Most of them are my OCs lol. The oldest drawing here is Nezuko from December 2019. The most recent drawings are Ouro Kronii from earlier this week and the monochrome sketch of my OC from today which I needed to sort out commission stuff. The rest are from August 2022 through June 2023.

If it isn't obvious, I've been trying to find an art style I enjoy. It's an arduous task and I haven't figured it out yet. Hopefully that doesn't deter anyone who might consider commissioning me. Dx

Ok, finally I can officially present all my 3 generations wrestlers with briefly information😂

As I’ve ever told you that Faren is 2nd generation 2 wrestler. I decide to post this first to hope you can know his family and brief background. Start with the first generation, Ailani, Faren’s dad

Ailani is my 2015 oc (I create him before Faren many years actually). He doesn’t have role that much in my fiction except being Seiji’s grandpa/ his face looks like Seiji more than his son, Faren😂

⭐️⭐️Faren, 2nd generation. My 2019 oc, story teller of Faren’s story. I feels weird a little bit to draw him with natural brown hair😂

I mean..look at his big eyes🧿^🧿he doesn’t has feirce face like his dad. Conversely, he has sweet looking like his mom who’s being wrestler. His face would look more like a girl if he had long hair

Faren has older sister names is Sandy Faye Kamealoha.

[📝Fact about creating Faren] His sweet face or lifestyle aren’t from accident, they’re are all in my intention, Faren is the last person of 3 Kamealohas I created, Ailani and Seiji has similar face by gene between grandpa and grandson. So, I just want to create Faren completely different from his dad and his son with some side

Faren is a person who’s not confident in himself because sometimes he compare himself with his dad whose set a very hight standard from being a legend wrestler. Faren doesn’t have huge body like bodybuilder and not formidable or vicious as a warrior like Ailani. He looks more like some man whose has very meticulous about grooming and appearance/ spend each days with fixing big bike and collect motorcycle catalogue instead of work out.

Faren has been divorced once and had 1 daughter with Rose(ex-wife). 2-3 years later he had Seiji and Rino with a Japanese journalist in America, has a son and a daughter, after she passed away from car accident. When he worked in WWF, he and Rose had the opportunity to talk together again to discuss about the future of Serena (his daughter)and child support. Rose decides to adopt Seiji to be Serena’s younger brother/ friend and live in Texas and study here. For Rino, Seiji’s real sister was raised by her Japanese grandma. Seiji and Rino are brothers who grew up in different countries. Seiji grew up with his half-sister in America and study here, causing he can’t speak any Japanese language.

Seiji, 3rd generation. My 2011 oc, created since I was in high school and he’s on my top3 fav OCs. I draw him for the first time in 3years, miss him so much!!🥹🥹

Seiji is one of main characters of Taka’s story, but he has some role in Faren’s story when Faren tells flashback stories and current situation when he flies from Japan to America and goes to WWE backstage with his dad/ his sisters(Serena&Rino) and his wrestling friends to met “uncles”, Faren’s wrestling friends

Seiji was an actor since he was young/ be football player/ have knowledge about wrestling moves and pass all test of NJPW performance corse but he broke his NJPW wrestler friends’ heart by refuse to be wrestler, because at first he didn’t interested in wrestling at all, He's even quite biased towards wrestling. But at last persons whose make he open-minded for wrestling is “Teioh” Japanese wrestling friends and leader of KAIENTAI DX(not jobber Kaientai in WWF) , Seiji is appreciate for friendship of wrestlers that see talented on brat like him and try hard to persuade to make him is part of their group. Seiji start learning to speak Japanese from then, he also buy a house in Tokyo nearby his sister’s house.

In his wrestling friends’ eyes, Seiji is friggin intelligent person, now he be both engineer and wrestler. And because he’s “Gaijin” in the group of Japanese wrestlers, Sometimes the “cultural difference” makes him have a slightly different personality from the other members (but it's not a problem), Seiji is a straight-forward person and never shows his face to anyone except his wrestling friends at backstage(because he wears a mask) That's why some people think he's arrogant and call him “Brat”.I mean.. actually he is Brat for real😂 but he’s not bully person, but he’s sharp-tongue person/ Karen hater of the group! but you won’t see him in this side in Faren’s story, bc that time he’s just innocent little boy😌

I’ll explain with the first pic for more understanding if you confuse about Faren’s wife and his son and daughters.

At 2nd pic, from left to right Rino(Seiji’s real younger sister) is model in Japan. Serena(middle) is beauty blogger, her blonde hair from dying makes she looks like Faren in girl version😂. And Seiji is wrestler in NJPW and be KAIENTAI DX member. He is wearing mask because it’s his gimmick in wrestling career. Please keep Seiji’s face at infomation pic in your mind .. because after this, you’ll rarely see his real face under the mask😈

hooo boy here we go. i have No idea what to put lol Here's my Carrd (kinda outdated) as a TL;DR

Probably a system, I won't mention it much (and i'd prefer not to) but sometimes I need to- oops. I prefer to just think I'm a weird singlet :'))))) (and half of the time I just forget I'm a system completely)

Oh yeah, heavily neurodivergent (probable asd/adhd, bpd/bipolar, plurality, you name it lol). I usually only mention my autism/bpd as those are the ones that are most likely true.

I have a lot of "typing quirks"/talking patterns if they're even called that. I'm bad at spelling/grammar, I know.

“He feels a sudden warmth in his chest. He didn’t know Cor loved him. It’s good. It’s good.

Cor smiles at him. Then he frowns. “Wait, what was that about Papa Bear?” he asks.

“Arcis calls you that,” he says. “And papa means the same thing as dad.” He doesn’t know what bear means.

Cor’s mouth twitches. “Arcis, huh?” he says.

“Yes,” he says.

Cor nods. “OK,” he says. He walks past him, squeezing his shoulder as he passes. “Finish your breakfast. I just gotta have a quick word with someone.”

He sits down and picks up his cup. Cor leaves the room and closes the door behind him. He hears him calling Arcis’s name, muffled through the wood. He drinks the tea from the cup. It makes him feel warm.

He feels warm.”

IT’S DONE. Almost all pencil, since I turned out liking it this way?? Also if I tried coloring it’d never get done :/ Pretty much on of the cutest scenes from Poor Wayfaring Stranger, by Lithos_saeculum, in the latest chapter ;v; Cor fully accepting his role as Prompto’s dad and lots of GOOD HUGS. I’ve also redrawn this like 4 times through the layout/storyboarding process, so there’s no readmore, y’all get to see it in all it’s long post glory :P (clicking the pics should make them easier to read! Sorry Cor swears alot....)

High Fantasy Setting with Hornblower Cast Members. (And one self insert and an OC) -Character sheets of a sort- PART 2 -

From first post:

It all started MONTHS ago with me watching Ioan Gruffudd as Lancelot. Then, re-visiting a song called “Warrior” by the Phantoms while walking to work. Then a flood of images in my head of Jamie Bamber in rogue attire, Paul Copley as an archer, Paul McGann casting spells, and most vividly, Sean Gilder as a shapeshifting GIANT wolf going berserk on orcs.

Here’s part 2: Kaltal McGann the wizard, Copley the archer/huntsman, and Lira the bard!

I don’t have dialogue written out for these ones, just what I wrote on the the sheets. AND I APOLOGIZE THAT COPLEY AND LIRA ARE SO LARGE. T.T

I wanted to draw them on the same sheet so they can be smiling at each other but my DEEPEST APOLOGIES for having to zoom in and out to read their stuff! Dx

But anyways, Kaltal was the name my boyfriend Kyle gave Mcgann when I shared this idea with him and I do like it!

Copley sheet:

Once the village Hunter, he became the adopted uncle of Amalthea & Gruffudd when their parents are killed by raiders & desomate their village. He’s 10 years or so their senior & does all he can for those two. He adopts Bamber after he joins the small group, though he never tells Bamber. He becomes good with the sewing needle, patching up everyone’s garments when needed.

Fancies Lira right away for her kind nature and enthusiastic story-telling, but he’s a bit shy. He also enjoys playing his lute at the campfire & singing songs with her as she plays her fiddle.

One night, Copley goes to a river that’s near the camp, looking for Lira. He finds her dancing, surrounded by fireflies. He’s greated by Lira happily, and they take a walk on the river banks. There’s a moment that they stop walking, holding hands & gazing at each other. Copley takes the risk then to tell Lira that he loves her. And Lira returns his feelings happily.

Lira sheet:

Traveling bard who meets the group at an Inn the group visits. They love her fiddle playing & story telling. She enjoys Copley the most, however. She likes his bravery. kindness & humility, admiring his talents with the sewing needle. She likes how good a listener he is & how much attention to detail he gives to his surroundings & about other people. One night, Lira goes to the river to dance amidst the firefliews, needing no music but the song in her head. Copley finds her, & she asks if he would join her for a walk by the river. They walk amoung the fireflies, and after a time, stop & sit together. After a contented silence, Copley nervously tells Lira he loves her. Lira’s heart soars as she softly tells Copley she loves him too. They share their first kiss under the moon and surrounded by fireflies.

Alrighty! I'm going all out on this one soo be prepared for a long haul since my curiosity MUST be quenched: 1, 3, 4-6, 11, aaand 13-16 for the writing ask thing, please

OOOH! Awesome!!! Okay! [rolls up sleeves!] Here we go!

1. What's something you've written that you know is OOC and you just don't care? Omg…I thought my dark secret would never be heard. Me and Incubirb wrote a fanfic together in high school called Dealing with Chibis. It’s a YGO fanfic. We had fun and it’s still posted on FF.net but the yamis are OOC. VERY OOC. Do we care? Nah, it was something we wrote when we were younger and it’s a reminder of the good ol’ days and annnnnnnnd how we improved n,n Yes it’s cringe but it’s OUR cringe damn it!

2. Something you hate to see in smut. No build up! Okay, I’m all for PWP because sometimes you just want to read smut without having to read a story behind it but please at least give the audience some foreplay. Also and I used to do this, don’t say womanhood an manhood, just say cock, clit, vagina, and things like that. Because well…sex is an experience, or I’ve been told, but it’s also dirty and passionate so using the terms can make it a little better or I can just be a huge perv. I’m probably the latter. Finally, weird ass things that would be near impossible during sex. Shampoo is NOT lube, ripping out a woman’s tampon and flinging it behind you is not sexy, sex in the shower/ on the beach/ is not romantic and I’m assuming harder than it looks. Or something that is outright gross that is supposed to be romantic >< I’ve read of questionable shit and I just had to pretend I never read it. Just…but logical about it, please!

3. Something you love to see in smut. I personally like non con…hear me out. It’s a fantasy, it’s a good plot device, and it’s just so dark. I also like a weird powerplay and pet play because…well no one needs to know that ^^: (stay tuned One Piece fans). I also like good chemistry with the characters, like the more experience boy or girl with another girl and descriptions. Like don’t just say “and they totally did it!” yeah no, describe the act and the senses.

4. Something you hate to see in dialogue. Using net speak in writing. Not making a conversation believable and writing an “accent” in someone’s speech. Once again, I was guilty of this years ago, minus the net speak. The writing accent thing can be good in some cases but horrible overall. Like in HP, JK Rowling writing the way Hagrid talked. I’ll admit, it did kind of get you into the mood that Hagrid had an accent but when she did it with the French accent and Bulgarian one, it just became really…distracting. Have your readers imagine it instead of having to read/listen to an accent. Just say that they had a strong accent or if they do speak in broken English in order to emphasize a plot, by all means! Once again one of my fave authors did this well. In one of her stories, the characters were aliens who spoke Russian, this woman had RUSSIAN in the book so the reader was just as clueless as the characters in the story. 5. What "don't ever do this" writing rule are you guilty of constantly breaking? I know I break a lot! Hell, there’s run on sentences and things like that everywhere XD But apparently the ,” that a dear sweet nitpicker brought to my attention. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not like “OMG HOW DARE SHE!” it’s more of, she was just doing it to be an ass? Like really trying to find something wrong with a story? Anyway, that. I don’t know why I do it. I think it’s a habit that I have to break but I didn’t know it was a habit? Like some writing rules says its okay. Some say it’s bad, some people don’t even notice it. But that’s just how I’ve always write. No one else seems to care so I just kept doing it.

6. What do you need to work on most? Rereading my work! I don’t get offended when my readers point things out! Like I welcome it because sometimes I’m concentrating on writing that I don’t see the mistakes or rapid typing that I forget to go back. Like I write in layers. I write the beginning, scenes in the middle, the end, refill things, connect things, and polish things before posting but even I overlook things. I don’t have a proofreader so I’m grateful for the extra pairs of eyes XD Seriously I don’t get offended in the least!

7. What aspect of writing have you had the most growth in? Character development! Seriously! It takes time and a lot of work to write a good character! My first real fanfic characters were OCs and one dimensional at most. Then again it was middle school and high school and emotions were high, things weren’t the best but still, they were my characters. They stuck with me in college and it gave me more than enough time to revamp them into proper characters. Also during that time I was working on a coping mechanism writing/story and learned how to really flesh out a character and giving them a back story on how they came to be instead of “this character was just born AWESOME!”

8. We all project onto our characters. Where has your personality or life choices leaked onto the page the most? Well, with me and not so much in my One Piece fanfics but Hetalia, my issues with my family, especially my mother/ grandmother. Because of my family situation, I never really had a safe place to express myself freely and when I did it was always taken away. I was around a lot of adults who were affected by my grandmother’s own issues which resulted in immature adults with issues of their own where I had to always be the “adult” or the “bigger person” one to someone who was twice as old as I was when I was a preteen/teenager and they were full grown ass adults. Which sucked since being a mature kid really gives more problems and doing things just to please a family who wouldn’t care less but I did have a Dad who really took the time to really understand me which was nice. So a lot of my Reader-chans have either unavailable parents, awesome parents, or raised by people who aren’t parents but the best parents they could ever have because in my opinion, sometimes the best people who actually care isn’t your family and if these people accept you, treat you with respect and genuinely care about your well being then they are your family.

9. What's the most ridiculous thing you've done to put off actually writing? Hmmmm Well I’ve always found time to write but usually now with the pandemic, it’s mainly “I have to clean!” which is partly true but malaise DX Well For one fandom at least. Not to mention I’m adding in a lot of filler so I can send a ton of sad fanfics without feel guilty XD

I’m bored in the airport so answering swtor question two on phone…

Family : is your ocs family a large part of their story? Why or why not? Are they on good terms? Are any of your ocs related?

Tank: her family influenced her skills a lot, and in that way I guess you could say they influenced her story. Her mother taught her how to fight, and tank idolized the stories her mom told her about her (tanks mom’s) bounty hunting days,making tank crave adventure.

She also learned basic repair skills whether her “other mom”, a dx assassin droid that glitched off the dx network, got hurt. She is on great terms with her family and introduces havoc squad to her mom. When she disappears at the start of kotfe, aric and elara contact tanks mom for help due to the aforementioned bounty hunter skillsv Ugh I typed a bunch bit it was deleted stupid phone.

Messilandre: yes, messilandre’s family is a large part of her story in that her parents wanted her to be raised as a Jedi (because her father was a Jedi), so her story wouldn’t have happened without them. Bit during the story, messilandre never talks to her mom (only living family member at this time) or asks her for advice.

Messilandre has a lukewarm relationship with her mother, because teenage messilandre thought her mom was being over protective. Mom also thinks messilandre during chapter one through three has an overly simplistic view of republic vs empire conflict (since messilandre assumes killing the emperor and defeating high ranking dark council member will fix things.

Harin so: Harin sos family does not at the moment affect zir class story a ton. Zie has a younger sister who idolizes zie, and two parents who are (profession yet to be thpugt of). I guess Harin sos family is defined by their very average relationship and lack of closeness, because after flunking out of mystic school, Harin so feels as though there is nothing tying zir to voss.

When Harin so goes to voss for the plot, zie attempts to reconnect with zir family and introduce them to the crew and Felix (zir boyfriend). The parents are relatively cold and disapprove of Harin so leaving voss behind (and changing so much in the years zie has been away), but after a brief fight, zir sister winds up with a stronger relationship with zir than before, as she understands now why Harin so left and wishes she was brave enough to do that for herself.

Tai: tai is one of only two ocs who is related to another oc (the other one being the one who’s related to him, lycaea).

Tais mom, raihon, married lycaeas dad,kyros. The family he was raised in affected his backstory more than his class story. He was instilled with the suitable sith moral code, meaning he looked out for number one and was not opposed to hurting people if it would benefit him. He spent the past ten years learning to be a decent person, and would now rather die than treat people the way he used to.

He got along with hismom when he lived with her, but doesn’t think he would now. He assumes she’d prefer to believe he’s dead than to see how he’s changed.

He was terrified of kyros and kind of a jerk to lycaea and patrus (his and lycaeas half brother) when they all lived together. Post kotfe tai gets along with lyvaea, bit not pre kotfe

lycaea lived in same family as tai, so doing her here. Her family, however,Greatly affects her story. Her father was abusive to her and her half brother, and what kicks off her going to korriban is how she confronts him and her fears.

lycaea also comes to her stepmother, raihon, for help on a force related matter in the start of shadow of revan.

lycaea hated her father, has an uneasy truce with her stepmother, is protective of her half-brother, and eventually gets along with tai.

Nehari’s family mostly influenced who she didn’t want to be growing up. Hermom was a civilian with no combat skills, and when nehari saw her being pushed around by people working for the hutts, she knew she never wanted to “let” herself be in that position of perceived weakness.

Neharis family can’t influence her directly (aside from very far off ancestors, like kallig) because they are dead (and not ghosts)

Xareesh had two moms (one was a swordswoman, the other a swordsmith) and two brothers and one sister. Her older brother was a bit protective of her, which she thought was condescending, but not like he thought she couldn’t fight, he was worried she’d make the wrong decision. He eventually got told to chill about that by their swordsmith mom.

Her parents influenced her skills (especially the one who taught her how to fight with a sword :p) but fine directly impact plot into maybe kotfe (thinking her swordsmith mom is still alive and joins Xareesh’s band of kaleesh warriors in a support role).

Aereinys is mostly defined by her lack of family. Her parents died when she was just a baby, and she was raised in whatever the empire has for orphanages (I imagine a state school aimed at turning kids into “productive members of imperial society” so… Soldiers)

If you’re a regular on the SWLing Post, you’ll certainly know our contributor, Robert Gulley.

Robert is a wonderful friend and one of the biggest ambassadors for radio I know. Robert has mentored a countless number of ham radio operators and radio listeners–his enthusiasm is infectious.

This time, Robert could really use our help.

His wife Jennifer has Secondary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis (MS)–a disease that has progressed to the point she needs 24/7 care. Finances are tight, so when a home equity loan taken out over 15 years ago recently ballooned, Robert and Jennifer have struggled to make these payments and stay afloat.

They’ve explored refinancing and even selling their home, but the numbers simply don’t work in their favor.

Dao Co To (AS-132) between September 27th and October 3rd. He plans to be

7Q, MALAWI. Operators Bill/KC4D (7Q7WW), Don/K6ZO (7Q6M) and Junior/7Q7JN

are currently active from Embangweni Mission Hospital at the Loudon Station

in Malawi as time and power allows. Activity has been on FT8, SSB and CW

modes. They have an amp, and are using a Hex Beam, as well as OCFD and

9G, GHANA (Reminder). Chip, KB1QU, will be active as 9G5QU between Sep-

tember 8-21st. Activity will be on 40/30/20 meters using CW, FT8 and

9H, MALTA. Klaus, DL7OO (ex-DD1AY), will once again be active as 9H3GK

from Malta (EU-023) between September 29th and October 6th. He will have

with him his XYL Jacky, SWL Rolf from Cologne, Günter/DO5GS and Sven/DO2SS.

Activity will be holiday style on various HF bands (probably 80/40/20m

C21, NAURU (Update/Change). Operators Yuris/YL2GM, Jack/YL2KA, Kaspars/

YL1ZF and Kristers/YL3JA will be active as C21WW (not C21W as first

announced) from Nauru (OC-031) after their Western Kiribati operation

(OPDX.1425) between September 16-25th. Activity will be on 160-6 meters,

possibly 60m, using CW, SSB, RTTY and FT8. The suggested frequencies are:

CW – 1826.5/1821, 3524, 7024, 10113, 14024, 18083, 21024, 24903 and 28024

SSB – 3790, 7090, 14190, 18140, 21290, 24940 and 28490

activation to prepare for a DCA-expedition (Danish Contest Academy) later

FM, MARTINIQUE. Jim, N6TJ, will be active as FM5KC from the Ducos Radio

Club on Martinique (NA-107) during the CQWW DX CW Contest (November

FP, ST. PIERRE & MIQUELON (Update). Eric, KV1J, will once again be oper-

ating from the Island of Miquelon (NA-032, DIFO FP-002 WLOTA 1417, Grid

GN17) as FP/KV1J between September 24th and October 8th. This is his 13th

trip to the island. Activity will be on 160-6 meters (no 60M – not author-

ized) using CW, SSB, RTTY, FT8 (but primarily SSB, RTTY and FT8) and the

satellites. He will generally be on the highest frequency band that is

open (favoring 12/10m). He will be active in the CQWW DX RTTY Contest

(September 28-29th). ADDED NOTE: Eric will usually try to be on as many

Satellite passes as he can when the WX is good, generally favoring the

FO-29, XW-2x, AO-7, and possibly the FM birds. Eric states, “Equipment

is two FT-817s and an Arrow dual band yagi. I’ll favor the SSB birds

usually higher in the passband, but will also try FM if they do not get

too busy. Satellite logging is by paper so may not get loaded to LoTW

until the week after I return to the USA.” Weekends may be limited since

EU-029. YL Rosel, DL3KWR, will once again be active using the special

callsign OZ6SYL of the Danish club of SYLRA (Scandinavian YL

Radio Amateurs) from near Faxe on Sjaelland Island between

September 9-23rd. Activity will be holiday style on CW. She

will also participate in the Scandinavian Activity CW Contest

EU-165. Giuseppe, IK5WWA, will be active as IM0DAE from San Peter

Island (a small island southwest of Sardinia) between Sep-

tember 16-28th. Activity will be on all HF bands as well as

NA-077. Eric, VA2IDX, will once again be active as VA2IDX/p from

Anticosti Island between November 2-6th. Activity will be

sporadic around 2000z and 0200z. Operations will be on 40/20

NA-211. (Reminder) By the time you read this, operators Yuri/N3QQ,

Cezar/VE3LYC, Sandro/VE7NY and Adrian/KO8SCA should be active

as K7TRI from the rare IOTA Tillamook Rock until September

9th. This IOTA is in demand by almost 94% of IOTA members,

and has been on the air only once in 21 years. Activity will

be on 40-17 meters using CW and SSB. This is a very expensive

and challenging project, and they are actively looking for

possible support from IOTA chasers and DXers at large. All

ADDED NOTES. Spitsbergen is the largest and only permanently populated

island of the Svalbard archipelago in northern Norway. Constituting the

westernmost bulk of the archipelago, it borders the Arctic Ocean, the

Norwegian Sea, and the Greenland Sea. Spitsbergen covers an area of

37,673 km2 making it the largest island in Norway and the 36th-largest

PACIFIC (DXPEDITION) TOUR ALMOST DID NOT HAPPENED (Update). Heli, DD0VR,

(along with XYL Bigi, DE3BWR) informed OPDX on Monday that their Fiji

“DXpedition ends here.” Heli explains that after two visits to the Fiji

Customs Bureau, and having endless discussions, the couple was told that

they would have to pay three times 1540 Fijian dollars (700 USDs) for

their transmitters & amp in order to take their equipment into the three

islands they planned to operate from (Fiji, Samoa and Tonga). So Heli/

DD0VR and XYL Bigi/DE3BWR then decided to make their trip a “normal

holiday” and pick-up their equipment on the way back to Germany. At

this point, they were very disappointed. However, on Wednesday, thanks

from some help by Tevita Navila (Telecommunications Authority of Fiji),

Tony/3D2AG and Bernie/W3UR of The Daily DX, Heli was able to retrieve

his equipment and was able to be active as 3D2VR from Fiji for a few days.

By the time you read this, Heli (along with his XYL) will be heading

to Samoa and should be active as 5W0VR from Samoa sometime between Sep-

tember 9-16th. Activity will be on various HF bands and modes. QSL via

DD0VR. Next stop will be Tonga, Heli will be signing as A35JY between

September 16-21st.

PJ4, BONAIRE (Reminder). Randy, K5SL, should now be active as PJ4/K5SL

S79GJ SEYCHELLES DXPEDITION (Update). Lance, W7GJ, will be active as S79GJ

from La Digue Island (AF-024, WW Loc. LI75vp), Seychelles, between September

20th and October 5th. Lance informs OPDX this past week of the following:

“All the equipment has been set up and checked and then packed up to go

on the plane with me to S79. This is primarily a 6m EME DXpedition, but

I have packed a 20m dipole and may also get on 20m FT8 during the first

T6, AFGHANISTAN (Reminder/Update). Robert, S53R (ex-YA5T), is once again

active from Kabul as of September 4th, signing T6AA and may continue

until the summer 2021. He will be there for two years working with the

UN World Food Program. Robert has been issued two callsign: T6AA and T6A

(to be used during contest). Activities outside of the contests will be

limited to his free time, but he plans to be on 160-6 meters using CW,

SSB and the Digital modes. He was heard early in the week on 60/30/20/17
