Thinkin' about Vaggies willingness to completely put herself at risk and sacrifice herself plus her endless devotion is a very endearing trait but also one that quickly becomes concerning

Ironically it's both what made her a good exorcist and arguably one major reason she's a good girlfriend, Vaggie is loyal to a fault and if it weren't for her own personal moral code I'd argue her morality is strictly whoever she's loyal to, y'know?

Loooong before Charlie she didn't want to murder a literal child thus what resulted in her getting kicked out of heaven, Vaggie has her own set of values without Charlie. And in my headcanons Vaggie has had other partners too, some far less morally righteous than she is.

Which is something admirable in itself, arguably more admirable than anything Charlie has done. Don't get me wrong what Charlie's doing is very respectable but it's one thing to do the right thing when you've been given far better opportunities, Vaggie meanwhile had a rough life, barely made to Heaven, got indoctrinated into a cult, got mutilated for the slightest show of rebellion and literally sent to hell while being abandoned by her allies

I think most would have given up on being a better person, which while a large part of that is owed to Charlie I think the restless urge to actually help people regardless of circumstances is what keeps her going. Vaggie does everything she can not to care but in the end she cares too much. It's a very big doubled edged sword.
