I am not entirely certain what will happen once the actors & writers strike ends, but I'm pretty sure Michael Sheen will break the sound barrier with how fast he will go feral on the internets about how Aziraphale wants to eat Crowley's ox rib

David Tennant at This Morning show with Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary talking about Good Omens Season 2, 11.07.2023 :) ❤
DO: And David joins us now. I mean, this looks like a great show.
David: Oh, yeah.
DO: So, I mean, It's pure Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman, isn't it?
David: It is, yeah.
DO: The whole thing. So tell us, so if people haven't seen the first series and they want to go back, set the whole scene.
David: So I'm Hell's representative on Earth, Michael Sheen is Heaven's representative on Earth, put there to do the biding of our respective Head Offices. But we found out that if we became mates and sort of helped each other out, it kind of cut out the workload, cancelled each other out. So we're best mates. But in Series One we end up having to avert the apocalypse, which we managed to do, but as a result of that, we get cut off. So we're now living on Earth as independent individuals.
AH: So do you still need each other, then?
David: We still need each other. We've only got each other now because we don't have Heaven and Hell anymore.
DO: Because you both love earth so much, you both like.
David: Oh, we much prefer living on Earth because Heaven's a bit stuffy and Hell's awful.
DO: So you conspire to thwart the Armageddon. Exactly.
David: We thwart the Armageddon. That's fine. But Series Two begins when the angel Gabriel, Jon Hamm, who you just saw there, shows up at Aziraphale, Michael Sheen's bookshop, naked with no memory, holding a cardboard box. So suddenly we're locked into the politics of Heaven and Hell again. We don't know what's going on. We've got a mystery to solve. Why is the angel Gabriel here? The angel Gabriel tried to kill us both at the end of the last series, so we've got to...
DO: But now he's kind of got amnesia and...
David: Yes. So he becomes like our weird child, in this sort of weird sort of eternal marriage that Michael and I are locked in.
DO: So many shows now use a book as their base and then they do really well and you can see the company and the writers go, better come up some new ideas, I suppose. So the book's obviously Terry Pratchett and then Neil Gaiman, correct?
David: That's right. They wrote that together years and years and years ago. Much beloved. And that's what the first series was. But Neil and Terry had always talked about possibilities of this sequel that they never got around to making. Terry's no longer with us. But when the possibility came up, Neil thought, well, listen, I've got some ideas. Let's spin it forward. Let's see if we can tell the story we were always going to tell. So we get to come back.
AH: Should we have a little sneak look at the new series? Let's have a look. So good. Did you ever think it was going to be this successful? Did you even know that you were going to go into a second series
David: Oh, no, not at all. No. There was only one novel, so we just thought we were coming together to do that. And I didn't realise how beloved this book was. I first read a script. But it means a lot to a lot of people.
AH: And the look of you is so striking. Did you have any input into that? A bit, yeah, we sort of all found it together, myself and makeup and costume and Neil Gaiman, who ran the show. So, yeah, we kind of arrived... in the book he's a bit more - because obviously the book was sort of early ninetues, so he was a bit more sharp-suited and a bit more Wolf of Wall Street. So we've kind of had to find the kind of modern equivalent of that.
DO: Is he... obviously you're playing a demon. Has he got any humanity in him or is he purely self-centered?
David: Well, he's not a very good demon. He's good at sort of the snarl and the swagger and pretending that he's terribly cynical, but actually his problem is that he's a bit too...  there’s a bit too much heart, really.
DO: He's alright
David: Yeah, yeah.
DO: Must be wonderful playing a baddie.
David: Oh, it's great fun, but he's not a baddie, is not really a baddie.
DO: Yeah, yeah.
David: And just like Aziraphale angel is not always as goody goody as he likes it, so they meet very beautifully in the middle.
DO: You and Michael Sheen. I mean, you've worked together a fair bit, don't you. I loved Staged. That was such fun.
David: Yeah!
AH: Have you ever not worked together?
David: Now we only work together.
AH: All the time.
David: Yeah. I mean, He's not sitting on this sofa, but he is backstage. We can't be apart.
DO: He's speaking in his ear right now.
David: Exactly, yeah.
AH: But you are... you have got a genuine friendship. You're growing old together gracefully.
David: We're growing old together?!
AH: You look good for it, I'm not going to lie. What's the secret, babe?
David: A lot of makeup. It's very thick.
AH: We've got to talk about the fact that you are returning to Doctor Who.
David: Ah, yes.
AH: I can't believe this. And can you tell us anything at all?
David: I mean, beyond that I'm doing it? I think...
AH: No.
David: Really. Because that's the fun of it, isn't it? Hopefully tt was a bit of a surprise when I showed up. When Jodie Whittaker regenerated into me.
AH: We were shocked.
David: It was a bit of a surprise, so we wanted to sort of keep some shocks, but Catherine Tate's back, so it's a bit like 15 years never happened, to be honest.
DO: Know about it for a while. Like... did Russell T get in touch and say...
David: Yeah, it sort of gradually kind of evolved as an idea and we thought maybe they'd let us do a one off for old time's sake. And then suddenly it became a bit more than that and we were back for a bit of a run.
AH: So how many episodes did you get to do?
David: We did three.
AH: Wow. That's incredible. What's it like to be back? Did he just slot straight back in?
David: I mean, sort of. It felt weirdly familiar. Yeah. And you think, 'Oh, will I still able to run as fast? Can I still kind of...?' But it was like we'd never been away. It was joyous. Yeah.
DO: And could we talk about your son? Because is your son in Good Omens with you?
David: Ty's in... has a part in Episode Two of Good Omens.
AH: Is he?
DO: And I loved him in House of the Dragon.
David: I know. He's very good. He's very good.
DO: What a relief.
David: There he is. I know, what a relief. Exactly. No, I mean...
AH: Imagine if he was bad.
David: Imagine if he was rubbish. How would we tell him? Sit down, listen...I know it's sort of the family business, but maybe joinery? So... no, he's really good. And he's annoyingly good looking. You know, he's just got it all. So it's lovely and great to get to work together. Brilliant.

have you seen the super blurry video of the 4 of them at the Oliver awards?? I what really gets me is Michael stepping into the person behind him.
https://www.instagram.com/stories/davidtennant_daily/3347586970874865569?utm_source=ig_story_item_share&igsh=MWhjbHM4azBiMmt0Zg==
Yes, I have indeed seen the blurry video that's been going around this afternoon. I know some folks were having difficulty seeing it, so I will post it here:
I think probably the first thing I thought was that this video is too short to really draw any full-on conclusions (to quote Buffalo Springfield, "There's something happening here. What it is ain't exactly clear..."), and to wonder where the heck it came from. (It was posted as a story on a fan page on Instagram, but there's no indication of who recorded it or why it was publicized to begin with.)
Beyond that, though, and because we do not have a context for what is happening (although given the folder David is holding, it looks like it was filmed around when the group photo was taken), I am just looking at the things that are most plainly visible. One of which is what you mentioned, with Michael jerking back suddenly into the woman behind him. It's been suggested that Anna touched Michael's arm to guide him to move because the other woman was trying to pass through. When I watched it again, though, it looked more like the order of events was Anna reached for Michael's arm, he visibly pulled back right when she made contact, and then the other woman moved to keep from colliding with him. That is my interpretation, at any rate.
It also looks like a conversation is happening (possibly between Michael and Georgia, with David in the middle), and Michael seems to look somewhat agitated. Georgia, who is on the right of the frame, appears to then slap her hand to get their attention. This very well could be because it was loud, there were a lot of people talking, and it was difficult to hear. Given how close she is standing to David, though, Georgia could have also just put a hand on his arm the way Anna did with Michael, but she didn't, and I'm a bit perplexed as to why. The hand slap actually reminded me of a school headmistress, or something Judge Judy would do, because those are the only two people I think I've ever seen do a gesture like that.
Whatever her reasons, it seemed to work, as David's head snapped up right away. I did notice though that Michael continued talking (perhaps possibly determined to get whatever point he was making across), and it gave me the feeling that he and Georgia were having a bit of a back-and-forth/fighting for David's attention. (I guess that means the answer to the question of, "Can Michael fight?" is "Yes, if David Tennant is involved".) It could also be that AL was trying to sooth him/get him to be more agreeable to whatever Georgia was saying, but it doesn't seem like that really worked.
Again, it's a very short video and without context it's hard to say anything definitive, but that is my interpretation. I'd still like to know where in the world this video even came from, especially because it seems to cut off so suddenly, giving the impression that there was more. Strange days indeed...

Assembly - Michael and David
Now for all of David's bits!
This is not the interview so (do)n't click on it.
They will all be on this post. Might be a bit long, but I didn't see a reason to make multiple post because some sections are too short.
Keep in mind that Michael is an actor.
5:24 - 5:47
"Who's the rudest celebrity that you've met?"
"Have you heard of a man called David Tennant?"
This part, he's just acting/playing saying David is 'Doctor Rude.
____________
Tumblr media
"The rudest man."
Has a genuine smile - cheeks puffed, corners of the lips up, lower eyelids are up making his eyes noticeably smaller and his wrinkles around the eyes are more prominent.
"No, he's not really. He's lovely. He's very nice."
Wide smile, lower eyelids up, smaller eyes, corners up, lips relaxed, cheeks puffed, quickly licks his lips then smiles. No surprise here, he's happy talking/remembering David. Licking his lip and smiling can mean a few things: he's 'savoring' a thought or he's being mischievous/playful/trickster/ or he's just joking.
____________
18:02 - 18:07
Tumblr media
"How about Doctor Who?" (Do you like Doctor Who?)
"Depends on which one."
Nods, eyebrows relax lips tight, licks lips, then smiles.
Before Michael says 'Doctor Who' in the beginning, he already has a slight smile, but that's more of a diplomatic smile. When he relaxes his brows, that's a sign that he's considering his answer/is more concentrated.
Tightens his lips to stop himself from talking or saying/showing too much, then licks them as he smiles. Whatever information he's trying to hold back amuses/causes happiness in some way.
It can be argued that he's smiling because of he reaction from those around him, but he was already holding back the smile before they started to laugh and Michael couldn't hold it back once he heard them.
____________
21:06 - 21:42
"If you were in Doctor Who, who would you play? The Doctor or the Master?"
"I think the master would be a good part."
His eyes are narrow - thinking and analyzing his reasons/answer. His volume is also low/quiet.
"They'd have to bring David Tennant back as Doctor Who."
I can't see his face well because of how far the camera is, but something I noticed us that Michael's tone of voice/volume went up. There was emphasis on the 'back'. It slowly starts to pick up volume as the sentence goes on, up until 'back'.
____________
22:48 - 23:26
"Can you walk us through the before, the during, and the after of your passionate kiss with David Tennant?"
Tumblr media
Looking off, mouth open - thinking/processing the question. He's listening as he goes through his memories. When he hears David's name, he laughs which to me sounds forcefully. Michael throws himself back as he laughs, but his eyes are still off somewhere else.
He is listening and reacting, but it seems on autopilot. Michael is still in his head and laughs when he hears the people around him. Doesn't mean that the smile is fake. It's genuine, but his laugh is a bit lost because he's still thinking.
Tumblr media
"I remember reading the script and thinking 'that's gonna be a big deal'." Image 1
Nods as he speaks - congruent to what he's saying.
His face on the first image means 'yep, that's it'.
Image 2: Lower eyelids up, cheeks puffed, corners of lips up, thin lips, tense face - Michael is once again, refraining from speaking or reacting/showing too much. His face is tense even with the smile meaning he's really stepping on the breaks.
"Didn't really talk about it and just went for it." Image 3
Face still a but tense, but he's not faking the smile. A fake smile can be mostly seen in the eyes and cheeks. Michael is smiling a real smile in this case (if you're not sure about it go look at the 'smiles' he would do when speaking about AL). He's just trying to hold back the smile, hence the tension.
Tumblr media
"I remember seeing that everyone was quite moved by the scene and all the people who were there working on it."
The images above happen during the highlighted part.
Head tilts to the right, visibly and audibly swallows, slight frown, and tense face. The tone of voice also falls in this part.
Swallowing saliva means nervousness/worry and the fact that we can SEE and HEAR it means that his emotional/mental state was shaken remembering that moment. Remembering how the people on set reacted, is something that Michael doesn't like. He's once again, omitting information on what really happened and holding back from sharing. Michael disapproves how the crew acted on set. (There's a written interview stating that some people on set were acting strange after the kiss scene so this reaction could be linked with that)
Tumblr media
"Yeah so we knew it had gone quite well."
Slight head nod, leans upper body forward then back, smiles.
His cheeks aren't as prominent, but there's still a slight horizontal smile. The eyes are smaller, but the corner of the lips are more horizontal and the wrinkles around the eyes aren't deeper. It's on the borderline, but it looks to be more of a real smile. From the tone of voice, Michael is still in his head, so his face reacts in a more softer way.
Tumblr media
"And now we never talk about it."
Shakes head no - congruent to what he said. There's a flash of sadness. Inner brows are slanted up, lips tight, cheeks aren't prominent, and corners of lips down. There's sadness or disappointment about the fact that they haven't talked about the kiss. That sadness is quickly turned into a genuine smile/laugh.
It could be that he was acting sad/disappointment then laughed it off because it was juts a joke. I doubt that was the case because the first image happened so fast that not many would see it without slowing down the video or paying close attention in person. It appeared for a fraction of the second (micro expressions are an involuntary reaction that lasts for less than a second showing what the person is truly thinking/feeling).
At the end, he does genuinely smile and laugh. Could be that Michael thought that what he said was funny/amusing + the reaction of those around. There could be other reason for his smile. Just know that he did smile and laugh honestly.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
"If I had the opportunity to kiss David Tennant I would never live it down."
"Well maybe one day you will - maybe one day you will."
Brows raise, white part of upper eyes not visible, mouth shut - surprised but not too much. More like a 'oh really...' or 'you don't say...' it's a feeling of perplexity and doubtful to what we are hearing.
His 'smile' at the end is obviously fake and not a smile at all. Mouth is horizontal, corners of lips are flat/down, brows are kept up probably trying to show a smile or bigger eyes (makes people seem friendly), cheeks bones are neutral, lower eyelids don't make the eye look smaller (look at the images above to compare his real smile). That 'smiles' is forced and shows disapproval, displeasure, skeptical, and/or dislike.
In short, Michael really tried to hide how he felt and what he thought throughout these segments. He stopped himself from giving too much information as well, but was as successful in hiding his feelings towards certain moments and the mention of David.
If I missed anything, please let me know!

Time for an old school blog post, Hello!
Just various updates about life and shows and clothes and some photos! Adding a read more cut because I talk too much 😊
Happy equinox everyone!! The mild weather has been wonderful for daily park walks. We have been taking our meals outside as often as we can to make the most of it before summer scorches the land and all life. The longer days allow for a lot more wandering too but the imminent return of the heat is also making the longing to move up north worse by the day. We miss the choppy ocean and seaside cliffs 😭 We love the silence and the rain and the nippy sea breeze!! it's like being suspended in early spring for half the year and a rainy autumn the other half, Ideal if you don't mind humidity, but that's what wellies and flat caps are for. We have been looking for properties to rent to show up everyday so for now we lie in wait.
Speaking of nature, a few months ago we discovered a free app called Plantnet that you use to take and upload photos of plants, trees, flowers and it will identify them for you. You keep a log with their locations and can share them too to help contribute to each local biodiversity database. It feels like a pokedex for plants. There are many apps like this one to choose from too. It's been so fun learning what all these plants are called and memorizing them! I recommend it, is like a little educational side quest to take on while stretching your legs and getting some fresh air. This is not an ad I promise lmao I just think it's neat! kind of sad feeling the need to clarify that.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
This weather is also making me want to start making outfit posts again! It's been so long since I made any!! my winter wardrobe is mostly long wool coats or capes and boots so the inspiration wasn't there but now I'm ready to pull out all my stuff back from under my bed storage and experiment again 👏 I've also been meaning to share some of Nicolas outfits for ages too so there is more variety, could be fun!
Speaking of clothes, lately I've grown more and more frustrated with how poorly most clothes fit me to the point where I'm considering learning how to make them from scratch. I usually have to take in the tops and hem the bottoms but most things I try on are just built weird even if I fix the size, or maybe I'm built weird! I think it may be both. Nicolas also said he would love to learn along with me so we will probably embark on that adventure soon. OH and on a short tangent, I got myself a sort of binder-like top that flattens the chest a bit and I'm loving it! I'm very flat already but what little bust I do have has always bothered me when I dress and I've found I feel a lot more comfortable in this type of top. I'm glad I tried it out so if you feel similarly you may want to give it a go too, see how it feels!
On the media side of things we have also been watching more of David Tennant's work. We are still very much in love with him to an embarrassing degree, you can probably tell if you follow me anywhere, my likes on twitter alone give me away alksjdf and Nicolas isn't any better! if he used social media his would look the same lmao.
Since my last report we have watched and absolutely LOVED "There She Goes" we already want to watch it again honestly. The family dynamics for all his characters are always so real and refreshing!! Their relationship with their wives especially are always so believable in every series we've seen, the comfort and camaraderie, the banter and just friendship! You can tell they enjoy each other's company, it feels true. I love it so much!!
We also watched "Inside man" which was..a very stressful mess but David was incredible as always, also very hot and very pitiful which is always great, and Stanley Tucci was on it! so that's also fun.
Then we rewatched season one of Good Omens and the first 4 seasons of Doctor Who, with all the extra content like the Confidentials, deleted scenes, video diaries and more, they are just so good!! our list of favourite episodes keeps growing, season four is incredible, we are loving all these seasons even more the second time around!! Now we are probably going to start watching either Classic Who or Torchwood, along with more of David's work. We were trying to pick what to watch during dinner the other day and Nicolas was like 'damn, David is not in this though, I miss him' and lmao same so now we just watch one show without him and one with him right after to cope 😂
OH we have also been doing more historical reenactment! Since the last one in the 20's we jumped back to Regency times. We have been putting our outfits together for a ball soon and hopefully another one in autumn in the UK 😊 1800 is the farthest back in time we've been yet so it's been fun doing research, finding pieces and learning the dances in class but also very hectic. I'll share more about this soon!
Tumblr media
Then we also have a couple of 1900 events coming soon, so I'll be sharing more Edwardian looks as well, our favourite era!!
Anyway I think that's all for now, thanks for reading to whoever is doing so!! I know this is long and not a popular blogging format anymore but I enjoy it a lot, maybe some of you do too 🥰 I will reply to some messages soon, I'm so sorry I'm so bad at keeping up with those!! I've read them all and cherish every word 🥺 Thank you for supporting my art and shenanigans as always!! I hope you have a great week!!

I guess brainrot over the idea of an ineffable husbands style tensimm kiss won't let me sleep so.
I think, leaving aside the general collective unconscious and David Tennant in a telepathic mode of transport, the main reason the dynamic hit as so similar is this kind of. Absolute versus relational morality? I mean, this is what's on the deepest level, because the most apparent aspect is the idea that one of these semi immortal entities believes the other can be kind of restored to the state of goodness? And not just this person specifically, I think Aziraphale in general and the Doctor mainly as Twelve tbh just have this worldview where good is somehow definite and in a way natural for the universe? Oh yes, Twelve will be making speeches about whether he's a good man but the very asking of such a question implies "good man" is something definite, something that one can be. And oh yes there may be villains and monsters but you know if we all just sat down and talked then sure everything could be figured out. And this is more obvious than ever in his attitude towards Missy, where y'know. She just never heard the music. Whatever that metaphor means. Just as Aziraphale assumes Crowley can just be restored to the angelic status, because sure it was just a misunderstanding right he means he's not actually evil right? In a sense, pre-time angelicness and childhood are parallel in that they both assume a mind that hasn't developed individuality yet and I guess this is why Moffat is obsessed with throwing children at the audience 24/7.
And I find it fascinating that where everyone sees Aziraphale is wrong (or, indeed just needs to figure out Heaven is evil), Twelve's clockwork orange vault is generally hailed as reaching out to the truth behind the Master that Missy got closer to than any regeneration we've seen. For some reason, because sure as hell not because of anything that happened in EOT. And that's writing for you: if it's intelligent enough you'll look at something fundamentally similar and see completely different things.
Now, Crowley and the Master have more relational relational ethics - and relational is not the same as relative. And sure as hell don't think the universe or any individual will "naturally" veer towards good. In fact, they're both pretty cynical about, at least human, nature. Difference is Crowley needs to get drunk from Spanish inquisition, while the Master thoroughly enjoys letting future humans go murder their ancestors for fun. I mean, Missy even calls the Doctor out for his absolute and sentimental idea of good, except that's framed as her being in the wrong. And then there's the whole "Paradise. You've destroyed paradise! - They were lazy. I made them hungry" exchange between War and Saxon Masters in Masterful. Serpent in Eden, anyone?
And I think that this is why tensimm give off those vibes that they were closer to understanding each other than ever before. Obviously, the moral divide is still there, as it has to be, but I think Ten, especially in EOT, is more aware of how easily one can slip into a vengeful god, and all this to SAVE someone, than ever before. So while the moral divide is arguably widest it's ever been, the perceptual differences between the Doctor and the Master are almost gone in those episodes. And I suppose the metaphor of the Doctor hearing the drums is pretty pertinent here.
Now, before there's any accusation of moral nihilism on my part - no, there isn't. I specifically wrote of moral relationality not relativism. An action or attitude can be good or evil, the thing is that every individual exists in a net of their relations to others that they can't get out of through spontaneous epiphany. And at the same time the idea of absolute good is necessary, precisely because the general momentum is towards... the opposite. At the same time, there is nothing vile that hasn't been done in the name of higher good. Again, dialectics.
Which is why I say the Master (the Simm!Master, reduced as he was) fell where he stood no less that the Doctor in season 10. Like, this absolutely wasn't the intended point and I still say the mutual suicide was peak contrivance, but. work's intent. And all of this goes back to platonists vs. sophists, you know.
So anyway, it's still Ten that desperately grabs Saxon's lapels and kisses him in hopes of making him stay where they can be happy together.

Oh you know I need your dream cast for a Succession prequel, Sophie
(x)
Okay okay okay, SO first thing's first, my dream Succession prequel is set against the 80s clusterfuck expansion into parks because every little bit of canon we got about that era just cooks. You've got Logan meeting Frank (and probably Gerri), Logan's whirlwind romance then toxic marriage to Caroline, Logan starting to have the golden trio and reconnecting with Connor and dealing with the aftermath of what happened to, and with, Connor's mother! Plus Ewan may or may not be still involved in the company? (I choose to think he is!)
As a result, a lot of my casting is partially determined by the age the characters would be then, which means I've had to change some actual dream casting (Romola Garai as 40yo Gerri, my beloved), but it's also a pretty fun era to think about so that's fine.
Anyway, let David Tennant as Young(er) Ewan invite you in:
Tumblr media
I really love the Snr. Roy's being from Scotland, and their backstory feels so entwined with Scottish WWII history, so I wanted to honour that a bit in the fancasting, but all the same, I think I probably would've cast David Tennant anyway. I think he can sell that simultaneous moral superiority and absolute hypocrisy in a way that Ewan needs, and honestly, I just love the idea of him reading Jesse Armstrong's dialogue, haha.
Tumblr media
Was Karl working for Logan in the 80s? I choose to believe yes, because I love him. Jack Lowden's been one of those actors who's popped up in a few things I've watched lately - Fighting with My Family, Small Axe and Slow Horses in particular, and I've been consistently pretty impressed with him? I think he's got a good handle of comedic timing (important for anyone taking up the Karl mantle) but also is a compelling dramatic actor and I think he could kill it opposite...
Tumblr media
David Rysdahl as Young Frank! I've always figured Frank would've been a bit younger than Logan, and I love that little glimpse we got in canon of Frank having been brought in to advise on the parks acquisition and then Logan basically making him an offer to stay. There's something extra crunchy there for me if Frank's a little wide-eyed at the time and Logan oozes that charm that we know that he can turn on when he wants to. I like the psychosexual drama, and I also like the idea of Frank having this weird sort of connection to Caroline and Kendall because he met them while he was still impressionable / in the midst of being swept up.
But yes, haha, David Rysdahl I think is a bit of an up-and-comer, which is kinda funny given he's been in a lot of stuff. I've liked him though in the newest season of Fargo, and lowkey think he looks a bit like a young Peter Friedman.
Tumblr media
Honestly, I just loved her in Swallow a lot, and she played the smart, unhappy, unhinged, WASP-y wife there to such perfection that I think she'd be ideal for a young Gerri who's still better known as Baird's wife than as counsel. There's such an attitude and vulnerability to Haley too which I think would match J's quite well, plus they have a bit of a similar look too which works for me? I want to see her claw her way in! And I also want to see her toxic relationship with Caroline which leads to her being Shiv's godmother.
Speaking of...
Tumblr media
Honestly, I went through a few people for Caroline and she was surprisingly hard to cast. A lot of actresses who felt like they might fit the bill - Michelle Dockery and Claire Foy were two that sprung to mind - didn't really work as I didn't think they could quite balance the acidity with the blunt charm and playfulness that Harriet Walter just does so well (and honestly is a testament to what an actress she is). But then! Jessie Buckley! I've loved Jessie in everything I've seen her in, from Women Talking to The Lost Daughter, but it was actually thinking about her turn in Misbehaviour which made me think of her for this, exactly because of how she can play, well playfulness.
Plus I think she'd be a lot of fun opposite...
Tumblr media
I did say I''d go with a Scotsman! Ewan McGregor's been in a few mmm, less good things lately, which makes a turn in a role like Logan Roy could potentially be pretty great. He's always been a remarkable actor, and one who, I think, can find the heart in any role, which is arguably what any actor playing Logan needs. Plus I always tend to think Ewan has chemistry with everyone he acts opposite, and I think he could really sell Logan's naked charisma in this era in a way that would make sense given he's making some pretty questionable choices across the board in the 80s. Plus, y'know, to the point of the post that inspired this one, I think him playing Logan would do a lot of psychic damage to people who could only ever see Logan as perpetrator of abuse and never as product or victim.

So I just finished Good Omens recently and I have a couple things to say and my family and friends are so done with my rants about different movies and TV shows.
1: Holy shit that was a good show! I honestly didn't expect much from the show but holy shit it blew me away with how good it was. It was comedic and I found myself laughing so much and it was so beautifully written the characters are just top tier amazing and wow what I'd give to just continuously rewatch it as if it's my first time watching it.
2: I watched supernatural and I thought wow never gonna find another show like this. One that brings me joy and sadness then I found this fucking wonderful amazing show! AND it made me even more sad like what the fuck how do I keep coming across shows that cause me so much fucking pain. Also can we talk about the parallels between the two shows. Oh look two characters working together to stop the end of the world one a demon and one's an angel, counting Dean a demon solely for this post plus demon Dean did exist, both are oh so obviously in love with each other but neither will admit it, most of the angels are dicks and we all hate metatron, there's a demon named Crowley and many more. I mean look at the similarities between Dean and Crowley. Both are in love with their angel best friend, both are absolutely in love with their car, love classic rock, both are some sassy bitches, both don't want to show their emotions but are big softies, and are both the better looking person in the couple (in my opinion). Then look at the similarities between Aziraphale and Crowley. Both are angels in trench coats who are in love with their best friend, they are manipulated, complicated, traumatized, beautiful angels, both have trouble understanding (some) human expressions, and both struggle with their loyalty to heaven. Also, is it just me or does the first like 10 seconds of End Titles- the one that got left in the car from Good Omens kinda sound like it could be a beginning to a Supernatural opening credits or is it just me?
3: My God David Tennant is FINE like I've seen his face sometimes haven't really seen him in much and was like ok yeah he's attractive and moved on. But then I saw him in this and I'm like wow now I get what everyone's talking about. Like just ahhh this man is fucking attractive! I'm honestly ashamed of myself for taking so long to realize.
4: So TikTok in all its wonderfulness blessed/cursed me with a bunch of Good Omens content the day after I finished watching good Omens. Including a looooooooot of people cosplaying as Crowley. And may I just say the people who cosplay him are fine as fuck! I mean it's really hard to dress up as Crowley and not look attractive I mean Crowley is a style icon. But holy shit the people are so fucking good looking like I just can't. My sexuality does a nose dive off the empire state building when looking at them. I was talking to a friend about it and she said it's a case of wanting to be with them or be them and I disagree. I want to be with them all. Just holy shit you want to look good dress like Crowley you'll look fantastic.
5: The effect this show has had on my life is insane. I have been obsessed with listening to Queen since I finished the show. Which I'm not complaining about at all they were my favorite and still are my favorite band before I even watched the show. I have barely listened to something that wasn't Queen or songs from the show since I binge watched the show. I'm listening to another one bites the dust while typing this. Once again not complaining. Also, did anyone else want to dye their hair like Crowley's when they finished the show? Cause I do. I have been blonde my whole life and never wanted to change it and now I want it red. And I need to know if I'm alone in this or not to determine how alarmed I should be.
6: They had no right making the relationship of Crowley and Aziraphale they way they did. First they made them friends who obviously were in love with each other but hid it then they give us them acting basically as a married couple being so fucking adorable and me just wanting the type of love they have for them to give us that ending of season two! I'm not gonna lie if my dad wasn't up and calmed me down I either would've spontaneously combusted from my literally shaking anger or went on a spree. Not sure what type of spree but a spree of some kind.
7: How all of you wonderful people didn't riot or harm Neil Gaiman is beyond me. First when season 1 ended y'all had to wait 2 years to even get a green light that there was gonna be a season 2 and then another 2 for it to finally come out. And then for the season final of season 2 to happen where then you had to wait even longer for season 3 to be greenlight is just you all have a greater will power than me. I'm coming into this with two seasons and a third confirmed so a round of applause to y'all. And now I completely understand why I kept hearing people say they hated Neil Gaiman and stuff like that.
And finally on a somewhat unrelated note I'm planning to watch Doctor who since I'm about to finish another show where can I find it and what order do I watch it in? I've heard many different answers on the order.
Thanks everyone for coming to my rant y'all are wonderful and everyone have a wonderful day!<3

I have to say that after taking a look at the Doctor Who fandom, I am quite shocked at this insistence of some people in wanting to absolutely specify that Tentoo is in fact a clone of the Doctor ?!
Tumblr media
We have seen clones in this series and clearly Tentoo is not one of them. So, what is this insistence on contradicting the canon ? Tentoo is simply the doctor.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Our doctor himself doesn't even seem to dissociate himself from Tentoo ! He recognizes it as him.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
That's all. It comes from the regeneration energy itself and from the hand of our doctor. It's not a clone ! Having already seen them in this universe should tell you this simple fact.
youtube
In the words of David Tenant : "It's the same guy." Yes, I know he also says "But clearly he's not.", but that's probably in the sense that he's no longer our doctor. Same guy, but separated after the regeneration in different bodies, including one human, which offers them different opportunities. Once again, the only notable difference is that he's human, influencing his decisions after regeneration. Even if the regeneration itself naturally involves some minimal changes at Tentoo : The fact of being a little more like Nine, logical, since regenerated in the middle of the war after being shot and dying. Plus a few expressions from Donna, as he always takes from his companions after regeneration. But apart from a few minor changes, he remains the doctor. He is the Tenth Doctor who evolved in another direction after the regeneration that made him human. As simple as that. I mean... Have you seen how David Tennant plays him ? He doesn't play a new doctor with a new personality. No. He simply plays his character, as he always has.
I can't understand people who accept the very essential concept of Doctor Who as that what makes the Doctor are his memories and experiences (the very essence of an individual according to the universe itself), and not his body or his personality ! By the fact what makes Tentoo less of a doctor than everyone else outside of the first Ten ?!
Tumblr media
Yes. This situation is sad for our doctor, the first ten, who will be forced to move on in relation to Rose. (His final moments of just him with Rose being their reunion hug, when they briefly teasingly discuss Rose building the canon to come back, and when they hold hands facing Davros.) But it's a scenario that makes sense with the writing of the series. It was that or Rose ends up unhappy, or worse, dies. It's the ultimate way to have a happy ending despite the inevitable tragedy for Rose and the Doctor's relationship. We have the right to a tragic and happy ending at the same time. Can you imagine how crazy and unique this is in Doctor Who ?!
Tumblr media
And beyond that, I don't see why Tentoo should be denied. He is a living being who remains the same man with the same desires. Except that he can achieve them unlike his counterpart. Again, it's tragic, but it's also happy. Somehow, even if Ten had to die/regenerate to evolve and mourn who he was, a version of himself, in a parallel universe, was able to survive and obtain everything he always wanted. It is particularly moving. Whether directly or symbolically, especially in the context of the romance with Rose. It is literally his love for Rose, and his desire to be human, which also came from Rose when she renewed her love for the human race, that he prevented regeneration and caused by an incredible chance his biological metacrisis ! But I won't go into it because others have done it much better than me. The only thing I will say about it in this post is that it is objectively one of the best romances ever written. (Let's forget the episode with Madame de Pompadour...)

'Although the Doctor Who 60th-anniversary specials weren't as stuffed-to-the-gills with as many cameos as fans maybe would have liked, the final David Tennant and Catherine Tate special, “The Giggle,” did, seemingly create a new paradigm that could solve a mystery the show set into motion 10 years ago.
In “The Day of the Doctor,” the 11th Doctor (Matt Smith) met a seemingly much older incarnation of himself, known only as “The Curator,” played by 4th Doctor actor, Tom Baker. But how does the Doctor eventually become The Curator? The surprising ending of “The Giggle” may have the answer...
By the end of “The Giggle,” not only did we get two living versions of the Time Lord known as the Doctor — David Tennant’s 14th Doctor and Ncuti Gatwa’s new 15th Doctor — but each Doctor also got their own TARDIS. While the new Doctor flew off right away, the other Doctor decided to stay on Earth — perhaps indefinitely. Although we hear about the 14th Doctor taking Rose and Mel on all sorts of adventures (including Mars!) his overall plan is to keep things much more down-to-earth than usual. We even see the TARDIS parked in the backyard of the Noble-Temple home and are given the very clear impression that this other Doctor could remain on Earth for a very long time.
Having a second full-fledged version of the Doctor co-existing with the “regular” incumbent Doctor is certainly a new move for the series, but the storyline of “The Giggle” actually helps to smooth out various canon contradictions. As showrunner Russell T. Davies said on the aftershow, Doctor Who: Unleashed (available in the U.K.), one line from the Toymaker was meant to explain canon confusions with the Doctor’s personal timeline.
When the Toymaker says, “I made a jigsaw of your history,” this is supposed to mean that the Toymaker is responsible for various inconsistencies with the Doctor’s biography, including the idea he might be half-human (from the 1996 TV movie), the idea of the Timeless Child (from “The Timeless Children”), and, perhaps, even other vague plotlines like the idea of the Doctor becoming the Valeyard (“Trial of a Time Lord”) or the Doctor’s eventual death on Trenzalore (“Time of the Doctor.”) As Davies put it: “It just relaxes the rules to say he is whatever you want him to be.”
COULD THE 14TH DOCTOR REGENERATE INTO THE CURATOR?
One of the ways this is seems true is the notion that the Doctor will, at some future date, regenerate into another previous self, the face of Tom Baker’s 4th Doctor. In “The Day of the Doctor,” the Curator (played by Baker) told the 11th Doctor outright that, “in the years to come you might find yourself revisiting a few [old faces] but just the old favorites.”
With David Tennant’s 14th Doctor, we’ve now seen this happen outright. The 13th Doctor (Jodie Whittaker) regenerated and became David Tennant again. So, who's to say that at some point down the line, the 14th Doctor won’t regenerate and become... Sylvester McCoy again? Or Peter Davison? Or Jo Martin? Or, of course, Tom Baker?
None of this means this hypothetical event will ever be depicted on screen. The Curator has already had several off-screen adventures in the form of various Doctor Who audio dramas, which means the link between the bi-generation seen in “The Giggle” and the Curator may be made clear in that format.
Then again, the existence of the 14th Doctor does open up the possibility of an entire second future biography for the Doctor, which means, they could arrive in the form of the Curator, the long way around. For now, if fans have head-canon about the 14th Doctor ending up looking like Tom Baker, there’s literally nothing that’s happened on the show to suggest that we’re wrong.'

Now that the 60th anniversary specials are all out, I guess I'm gonna share my thoughts about them all, because it's the internet or whatever. Overall, I do think there's a lot of good in these specials. The fan service is absolutely there, but it's been done in a different way than some of the past special episodes, and it really acknowledges I think the many different kinds of Doctor Who fans, from the people who just watch the revived series (or even just bits and pieces of the revived series) to fans of Classic Who and even those of us crazy enough to get into the extended universe. I mean, featuring Beep the Meep and the Toymaker as your two Big Villains is both ridiculous and speaks to the nature of Doctor Who fans that we were all so excited for them. So. A lot of really nice things about these specials all around.
In The Star Beast, we got a really nice blend of nostalgia for the original Tennant era with new, interesting characters and a healthy amount of fan service towards Beep the Meep's half a dozen fans. Between those three things and RTD's obvious love letter to and heartfelt (if perhaps a little clunky) support of queer (and especially trans) people, it's easy to look past the episode's flaws; namely, that it's very light on the plot, and the handwavey bullshit that retcons Donna losing her memories completely undercuts the emotional heavy hitting of Donna losing her memories. You mean it was *always* that easy? Fuck right off.
Wild Blue Yonder really brought in, for me, more than a hint of Wilderness Years Who. The bottle episode slightly claustrophobic feel, the terrifying unexplainable Not-Things, the goddamn salt—I thought this story was the strongest in the set. I think RTD, like many writers, has a tendency to try and make things bigger and bigger and bigger, when really, his best stories tend to be like this. Consider Midnight as another example—brilliant, terrifying, and also very similar to some of the more experimental stories of the wilderness years. If I had a complaint about this story, it's that I would want it to play into more of the sense of sensory deprivation that stories like Midnight and Scherzo did. But honestly, that's a nitpick. It infuriates me a little bit—RTD likes to go in for some spectacle, as seen in The Star Beast and especially in The Giggle (and also the s3 and s4 finales, and also DT's regeneration story, and also and also and also)—but some of his best work is done when he doesn't allow himself the spectacle and instead really pares everything down to the barest of bare bones.
And, honestly? The Giggle was a bit of a letdown. There are so many ways you could bring the Toymaker into Who again, and he ended up sort of being an afterthought. Neil Patrick Harris was obviously having a grand old time in the role, which is great—so why not give him a little more to chew on? I thought there was a lot that was great—Donna and the Doctor in the Toymaker's domain, as an example. I think, building off of Wild Blue Yonder, coming back again and again to just how much the Doctor has been through and how that has affected them, was also a really nice thing to include, and something that I wish had been brought up more during Thirteen's run, because she really went through it.
But that also brings me to my biggest issue with The Giggle, and that is the way David Tennant's Doctor (Fourteen? TenThree? TenTeen?) has been written in a way that still is overshadowing Ncuti Gatwa's Doctor. This was honestly one of my biggest concerns as soon as Tennant's return was announced, and one of RTD's past issues in Who has been his chronic overshadowing of characters of color in favor of a white fan favorite. (Martha and Mickey both get this treatment.) The regeneration scene pissed me off in a way that I didn't think Doctor Who could piss me off—generally speaking, I'm pretty level-headed about most Doctor Who things because this show is ridiculous enough that you sort of have to just roll with it. I already adore Ncuti's Doctor (from his extremely limited amount of screentime), but I can't help but feel that he's been cheated out of a proper introduction because he had to share his limited screentime with David Tennant, the most popular Doctor to ever exist in the show's 60-year history. Likewise, because of this ridiculous Journey's End 2: This Time It's Stupider nonsense, I'm genuinely concerned RTD will randomly bring DT back for some fun multi-Doctor fanwanks, and sort of write all over the first Doctor of color's era with David Tennant. Not that that will happen (I certainly hope not, anyway), but the fact that he's leaving it open as an option already has me worried.
So. Yeah. Maybe I'm being harsher on RTD than I would otherwise be, because the nostalgia for having him back is so ridiculously high that it's driving me a little insane, or maybe these are genuine issues. I'm not upset that he's back, but these specials—and especially The Giggle—left me extremely wary that we're going to get the same exact issues that he brought to Who in his first run. Overall it'll be fine, and again, I did get a lot of enjoyment out of these specials! There's a lot about RTD's writing that is objectively both good and consistent. That doesn't mean I'm not holding my breath going forward.

David Tennant and Michael Sheen on The One Show 10.7.2023 ❤ :)
(also there Zoe Saldana and Nicole Kidman, and Alex Jones and Jermaine Jenas as interviewers :))
Tumblr media
Int1: Well, this is lovely for Wednesday, isn't it?
David: It's a lovely way to spend a Monday night, innit?
Zoe: I was excited to see you both.Likewise.
Int1: Now, Good Omens. I mean, people love the first series. It's back for a second. If there's anybody watching who didn't see the first one, they don't know what we're talking about. Go on, Michael. Fill them in.
Michael: I play an angel on Earth to do angel things.
David: I play a demon. I'm Hell's emissary on Earth.
Michael: And we decide that it's a lot easier if we team up because it saves on shoe leather. So we come to an arrangement, and then we realize that we actually quite like it on Earth, and we don't really want to deal with our respective head offices. And in season one, we save the world from the apocalypse. Season two...
David: And get excommunicated by our respective...
Michael: Yes. Exactly. So season two picks up. We're now...
David: We're at liberty.
Michael: Yeah. I'm in my bookshop, having lovely meals and watching lovely shows and hanging out with my best buddy here.
David: I'm living in my car, unfortunately, becausemy apartment came with a job.
Michael: And then John Ham turns up naked at mybookshop in Soho one day with no memory. And so the mystery begins. Int2: The plot twist. We know we've got a clip.
Nicole: I don't understand why he's [Jon Hamm] not on the couch.
Michael: Well, exactly. Nor me. I think everyone's asking the same thing.
David: Apparently it's a BBC rule you have to be clothed, so he was having none of it.
Int1: Yeah, that would push Monday over the edge. Let's see the clip.
Int2: Let's see the clip.
[familiar trailer plays, nothing new there]
Michael: When I said that line in the scene [I think I may have just started a war.], I knew it would be in the trailer. Do you know when you sometimes go, yeah, this is a trailer, and I got really nervous .I couldn't do it. Doing it over and over again.
Nicole: Well, I'm looking for something to watch. I'm watching that.
Zoe: Yes.
Int2: I like how you were like, yeah, that's the one.
Michael: On 28th.
Zoe: Okay, you watch ours and we watch yours.
Michael: Deal. We're in. We're in.
David: Yes, very good, very good.
Int1: Beautiful. This is the thing, at the heart of Good Omens is this unlikely friendship between you two, but in real life so you filmed it, you didn't know each other, and then they clicked. Look at them. They joined at the hip. They do everything...
Michael: It's true.
Int1: You even had babies at the same time.
Michael: We did.
Int1 [to David]: Your wife posted this picture of you two leaving the hospital.
Tumblr media
David: Look how in tune we are with each other.
Michael: And now those two little babies are nearly four, and they send each other little video messages. Yeah.
David: Well, they're babies of the pandemic, so that's how they think everyone communicates.
Michael: Exactly.
Int1: Is then when you went on to do Staged together?
Michael: Yeah.
Int1 [to Zoe and Nicole]: Have you seen that?
Zoe: No.Wait a minute. What are you guys doing on stage right now? Like a tour or something?
David: No, no it's a show .
Michael: It was a TV series called Staged that we did over Zoom. So we could work from our own houses.
David: Yeah.
Michael: We've done three series.
Nicole: They're extremely clever.
Zoe: That's insane. I have to watch it.
Int2: Now, Michael, apparently you turned down the opportunity to play David's character. Arguably got a better wardrobe. Is it something that you're regretting right now?
Michael: He gets all the best clothes. No. Neil Gaiman, who wrote the book that it's based on with Terry Pratchett. I've been friends with Neil for years, and so when we first started talking about the project yeah. We sort of both kind of, for some reason, assumed that I would play this one character, and then as he started writing the scripts, I was like, that's not the character. I'm not going to play that. So I felt kind of bad about saying that to Neil, and Neil was sort of feeling, because he was thinking thesame thing, feeling bad about saying it to me. So it all came out and then eventually it made way for the Tennant to emerge.
Int1: And he came in his lovely outfit.
Michael: Yeah. And his slinky hips.
Tumblr media
...
Int2: David. You're returning to Doctor Who. We had Catherine Tate on a couple of weeks ago.
David: Oh, yes.
Int2: o we spoke to her about it all. Now, she said it was like slipping back into a comfy pair of slippers. Was it the same for you?
David: Yeah. I mean, 15 years is quite a long time. And you do worry you won't be able to runf ast enough anymore, but...
Int1: Is it 15 years ago?
David: 15 years.
Int1: It's not, David, it can't be.
David: You're a lot older than you think you are.
Michael: I was only five when... I remember the David Tennant. I was just a little nipper.
Int2: On the Doctor Who subject. Watching... that's what inspired yo uas a child, wasn't it? Watching Doctor Who.
David: Yeah.
...
Int2: Good Omens Series Two on the 28 July on Prime Video and you can catch all three series of stage on IPlayer.
...
Int1: Let's say Nadoli Llawen.
Nicole: Yeah. [Tries]
Int1: Nadoli Llawen. Merry Christmas in Welsh.
Michael: Very good.
Int1: Michael, you can verify this. I mean, even the both of us are from South Wales, and even within 20 minutes car Journey, there'll be different dialects...
Michael: Within streets! Streets! Yeah, you can tell where someone comes from, which end of town people come from. [to Int1] I know which end of town you come from.
Int1: Say no more.
Michael: It's always been very clear, Alex.
Int1: Always very clear.

His Accent | Philip Graves x Fem!Reader |
| Trigger warnings: sexual situations, choaking, spanking. |
| This is dedicated to @massiww |
You were one of the new recruits for the shadow company, you were top of your special ops team and one day general sheppard asked you personally to be his company's first sergeant. You accepted graciously since you were now getting paid more but also you had a friend that was already in the company and she would talk about how hot the commander was.
It was your second week on base and you still havent met your commander due to him being on a mission since the day you arrived. Your friend Jada (sorry if your name Jada) had met  you in the shooting gallery for some mid day shooting.
“You know what I miss?” jada asked while you find a gun you want to use for your target “whats that” “I miss being able to watch doctor who, i feel like my day is taken up with so much training that when i get time to relax i automatically fall asleep, and i miss hearing David tennant's voice.”
You laughed off jadas remark and walked down to the end of the range and stood next to a man with short light brown hair but you couldn't see his face since he had it close to his gun. “So is it because a doctor who is smart makes you like him or the face?” you asked not to look at jada “I think it's the accents, I have a thing for Scottish and Irish accents' '. You and jada shot a couple of rounds before taking a break to reload “Really? I think southern accents are way hotter. "You slapped the bottom of your mag to make it sit in your gun right?Commander Graves has a southern accent right?I met him and he spoke to me with that accent. I would do unspeakable things to that man.”.
You laughed to yourself at what you did but quickly stopped once you saw jada's face that had an expression of fear. “As your commanding officer as well as your coworker I would advise you to not talk in such a way” you turned around to the man you saw in the booth next to you which turned out to be thee Philip Graves. There he stood over you with a stern look on his face but yet his eyes told an amused glare, his arms crossed and head cocked to the side god you did not regret what you said, just one look at this man and you did want to do something unspeakable to him.
“Sorry commander, I understand what I said was inappropriate and i didnt mean to say it in your presence, sir.” You wiped your smile away to show respect but your face was way hot from embarrassment. “That will be noted Sargent (L/N) please see yourself out, the mess hall should be open for lunch and all soldiers need their strength” “Yes sir”. You and Jada quickly got out of the gallery and to the mess hall.
“Wow i still can't believe you said that in front of him (y/n), you're dead” “please don't say that, i'm already shitting bricks' ' you tried to eat but your stomach wasn't allowing you to eat from the nerves. “CAN SARGENT (L/N) REPROT TO COMMANDER GRAVES OFFICE” oh fuck the nerves just got worse, you got up and looked at jada who was having a field day with your nightmare. “Have fun” jada waved you off while you dragged yourself to his office.
You stood in front of the door trying to muster up the courage you have just to knock on the door, you heard a couple of shuffles before his loud voice shouts from the other side of the door “come in ''. You opened the door to graves sitting at his desk and with no expression on his face “sit please” you didn't even try to go against him considering your life lies in his hands. “The reason why i called you in here is because of what you said in the gallery, now i would have just waved it off but i want to know, Did you mean it?”
You sat in shock trying to figure out why he was asking you this and if you did really mean it ”yes i did and again i'm sorry sir”. Graves let out a small short laugh “good i was hoping you did” graves stood up and walked in front of his desk facing you with his hand behind his back.
“I have seen your file and I am very surprised by your record, and the whole time I was reading it I was wondering how much fun it would be seeing a strong woman like yourself cry from the amount of pleasure I want to give you”. You looked up at your commander shocked at what you were hearing but yet you were aroused.
“Why wonder when you can see for yourself” you played back to his vulgaris flirting, graves let out a chuckle while shaking his head “honey don't play around if you don't want to be serious because i am” “I have never been so serious in my life sir” you stood up and stepped forward to his figure. Graves looked down at you trying to figure out your next move, you set  your hand on his chest and the other down his pants cupping his member over his boxers “Please commander. Fuck me.”
Graves smashed his lips down on to yours while letting his hands roam free around your body touching any and all parts of your body as you slipped your hand into his boxers and started stroking his cock. Graves lets out a low moan on your lips as you stroke faster, he part from your lips and looks at you with a hungry look in his eyes “get on the desk now”.
You sit on top of his desk waiting for him to do something, graves take a seat on his chair and proceed to take off the bottom half of your uniform. You feel the cold air hit your cunt and you shiver from the sudden cool, graves start to give your inner thighs a small kiss and bites. “Scoot closer” he wraps his arms around your legs to push you towards him more, as soon as your close enough graves eminently start attacking your slit with his warm wet tongue.
You let out loud moans not caring who can hear you, you gripped graves hair as he starts to go faster with his tongue “Close-Im close”.after you said that he started to go faster as he put his hands to the back of your knees to push your legs up higher, after a few more seconds of him eating you out you come on his face while your legs shook.
As you caught your breath, Graves stood up and unbuckled his belt and dropped his pants. Get on your knees and thank me for letting you cum. You followed his orders and got off his desk to get on the floor, you took his cock in your hands while wetting your lips for you to take him in. Graves couldn't help himself so he slid a hand behind your head and shoved his dick into your mouth and moved your head up and down his shaft. You let him use your throat anyway he wants while you put your hand behind his thigh to rock his hips with his pace, his movements got slower which meant he was close. You moved your head up and down faster while letting out lewd noises, Graves threw his head back while letting out a groan, you dug your nails into his thighs before he shoves your head on his cock one more time as he shoots his warm cum down your throat.
You swallowed his load before standing back up to look for your pants. “Woah their darlin we ain't done yet, get back on that desk”‘ graves said with his thick accent that got you into this beautiful mess. You took off your shirt before sitting on the desk “lay on your side” you did what he said and laid on your side. Graves gripped your thing and spread it so that he could see your pussy. He ran a finger down your slit before sticking in two fingers and putting them in and out.
He started to curl his finger at your g-spot while you gasped for air from the amount of pleasure he promised to give you. Your second orgasm rolled around as his fingers went faster when you clenched harder around his digits. He didn't give you a minute to catch your breath before he shoved himself into your heart, you moaned loud from his size and him not letting you take a minute to get used to his size.
“Aw come on darlin you can take it for me” he slapped your ass as he slammed himself in and out of you. Sounds of skin slapping and your moans filled the room with sound, graves snuck his hand over your body so he could clasp his hand around your neck. “Baby please i'm closer keep  clenching” you held a hand around the writer he was using to choke you to signal him to go faster. His trust got faster and more animalistic until the knot in your stomach started to bundle up with each thrust.
“Graves please” you plead for him to let you cum “im almost there sugar cum, cum on me”. You didn't wait a second longer to coat his cock with your cum, two more thrust and you felt his cum shoot inside your messy cunt as you were riding your high.
Five minutes passed before graves took himself out of you, you still laid on his desk as he got himself dressed again. “Here let me help you with these '' he offered a hand to get you off the desk and to put your clothes back on “thank you”. You got dressed but your legs felt like jelly and that you were going to fall any minute “I'm sorry but I have a meeting to attend but I don't want you to go like this especially in this state” you shared a laugh. “ It's okay, I'm sure I can get back to my corners.” You try to walk past him but his hands catch yours “No I want you to stay, I don't do this with just a random person I want to get to know you”.
Just him saying that made you feel like you were going to cum again. “Please just stay, you can rest on the couch while i'm gone, i shouldn't be long, just 10 minutes or less' ' he guided you to take a seat on a dark medium size leather couch that was in his office. “When i cum back we can get something to eat and maybe talk a little” “that sounds like a plan” you smiled up at his excited face. He looks like a dog that was offered a car ride.
“Great just lay down and here” he grabbed the gray blazer that was on the back of his chair and draped it over you. He gave you a peck on the cheek before leaving the room trying to act intimidating for others while you drifted off to sleep on his couch with the scent of him and sex lingering in the room.

I thought I had watched all of the press tour videos, including all the ones with David in that blue shirt. But I just stumbled on one from that day from Pride (dot) com. It's on YT and called "David Tennant & Michael Sheen Talk About the Inclusivity of Love in 'Good Omens' Season 2" and BOY HOWDY the microexpressions!!!
Oh, I have seen that video! Yes indeed, there were quite a few of interviews happening at that time, but that was a standout one for me as well (mostly because it was done a queer media outlet specifically, which I don't think there were many of in that press junket). The full video can be watched here:
And I actually answered another Ask where I went into full depth about the myriad of microexpressions (especially Michael's when the interviewer says "a demon who's starting to figure out what love means), so in the interest of keeping this simple/not repeating myself too much, I invite you to check that out here.
I will, however, include one other favorite moment, which is Michael and David's body language after the interviewer says "fans have sort of been dying to see you two get together":
Tumblr media
The fidgeting. The biting. Michael not being able to not look over at David by the end. And of course, David so far over on his chair that he is almost halfway off of it, just to be closer to Michael. Definitely so much going on that is utterly worth enjoying and talking about.
I hope this helps you out, and I'm glad you shared your thoughts about this interview with me. Thanks for writing in! x

Michael Sheen and David Tennant BBC The One Show Interview - Body Language Analysis
youtube
The atmosphere was already off before Michael and David appeared.
Tumblr media
Above is Zoey and Nicole. They both have they legs crossed, but Zoeys legs are tightly pressed together, away from Nicole.
Tumblr media
Michael and David walk in, Zoey and Nicole stay the same. David begins to get comfortable and lean back. Nicole rests her elbow on the couch, observing them. Zoey stays the same and Michael sits up straight. Zoey and Michael barely change the way they're sitting throughout the whole interview.
Tumblr media
Zoeys and Nicoles body language is closed - crossed legs and arms in front of them - gives off an unwelcoming vibe. But like established, they were already like that before M and D appeared.
Zoey leaning back with her elbow resting on the couch could mean 3 things.
1: she's trying to see Michael and David.
2: reason 1 combined with feeling superior.
When someone sits like that, they feel or are trying to be seen like the boss. "This is my territory." But with her right arm across from herself, she's putting up a shield.
Zoey stays the same with her legs tightly pressed together. She doesn't want her personal space evaded, or she doesn't want to evade someone else's space.
Michael and Zoey are sitting close to each other. That'd why they're both sitting up straight. Not wanting to cross the other. But Michael could easily lean more towards David, however if there was already tension before he went in, Michael could've picked up on that and took a more defensive posture. Leaning back or towards David would make him more open/vulnerable. People usually do this unconscious. Michael is uncomfortable, he's not going to lay back.
David is more physically relaxed. He changes the way he sits throughout the interview and he also takes up more space. Leaning back in either direction, spreading his legs, crossing them, and repositioning himself. He tends to move around in most interviews.
Tumblr media
When one of the hosts says "they've clicked" Michael nods - agreeing and feeling what she said is true. David smiles a genuine smile. Eyes become small, corner of the lips are pointed upwards. When David truly smiles, he tends to show his teeth. Michaels cheek bones become more prominent and a soft expression appears.
Tumblr media
Davids face is just funny here. Utter unpleasant surprise. Eyebrows raises, eyes slightly more open, stiff face, and frozen "smile". He's not too sure what they're about to show.
Almost 5 minutes in and none of them have changed how they're sitting.
Tumblr media
"Slinky hips" Michaels, when he says this, instantly snaps his head to see Davids reaction - which was what he's expecting. David laughs a sincere laugh.
Tumblr media
Nicole is asked how he got into acting. While answering, Zoey sways from side to aide, staring off, restless. Could be she disassociated or went into her own head for a few seconds. Then she stops swaying and listens to Nicole more actively.
Tumblr media
The host says "it has been such a fun show". Zoey disagrees. Eyebrows raises, eyes half open, and horizontal smile. She thinks that's false. "Uh huh, right. Whatever you say..."
David says something (probably a joke) then looks off to the side (maybe someone off camera). He decides to ignore the comment, most likely consciously. Michael just smiles and says nothing.
Tumblr media
Some few words are exchanged and the video ends. They have not changed the way they sat throughout the almost 15 minutes of interview. Nicole is away from Zoey with her arms as barriers. Michael said something, joking around, and Zoey joined in but before this she had her arms on her knee. Michaels legs stayed the same and David, like the rest of the interview, continued to move around.
Tumblr media
Something quick I want to add: when David leans away from Michael, his left arm was back and his hands were close to Michael. His left arm is not across him. It's back exposing himself, unlike Nicole that would put her entire arm in front of her, creating a wall between herself and Zoey.
Michaels had his ankles crossed + covering his genitals, protecting himself. This also means the person is closed off and not open. Not very welcoming. He would genuinely smile and laugh, but he still felt unsafe. Never did he truly and HONESTLY relax. Michaels defensiveness, from what I gathered, was due to how Zoey and Nicole were acting. He was closer to them than David. He could probably feel the uneasiness from Zoey.
Zoey the few times she spoke played herself down. The whole interview, even before Michael and David walked in, back straight, legs crossed tightly, and her arms in front with her hands grabbing her left knee. She did not move at all. She was uncomfortable, which in turn made her closed off, the entire time.
Nicole would observe and her body language was one of superiority. Chin up + leaning back. "This is my space." "I'm more important." To observe, she would tux her chin slightly in, and when it was her time to speak, she would go back to normal or stick her chin up.
David, from what I've notice, has his chin up most, if not, all of the time. It's his default (someone who doesn't know him might take this as aggressive. However, when David IS being aggressive, he sticks his chin up, and up, and up. "Come at me bro!"). He would change positions a lot. Right leg over left leg, left leg over right leg, legs opened, ankle of his leg, leaning towards and away from Michael.
Conclusion: Zoey and Nicole were not comfortable with each other. Nicole giving off, whether she meant it/truly felt like that or not, an air of superiority, and Zoey not vibing with that basically.
Michael felt the tension. People can read up facial expressions and body language, without knowing anything about it. If you notice/feel someone is closed off, chances are you're going to also be closed and uncomfortable because you can't just be. IF Michael consciously or unconsciously notice Zoey and Nicole and their tension, that could've caused his uneasiness. Michael would laugh, in a controlled way, looking down, or looking at David.
David, being further away, could relax a bit more. Michael was the wall between himself and Zoey/Nicole. David was a lot louder than Michael. He used his arms and hands to express himself more and laughed without limiting himself.
When the interview was ending, Michael AND Zoey both relaxed a bit and moved their arms around.
That's what I picked up on! Please let me know if I missed anything!

cris watches dr. who: s01eCS - "The Christmas Invasion"
Tumblr media
"I'm gonna be killed by a Christmas tree!"
Aw. My favourite menace - Rose's mum - is so happy when she hears the weird bwoosh-bwooshing of the landing TARDIS
Ah, a whirling dervish Christmas tree. So this episode is camp
I just watched Good Omens s1 and my god, David Tennant is so young here
I have no idea how afraid I'd have to be of the hypnotized humans standing on roofs, because I don’t know my blood type. (I have known, mind you, I just always forget)
HARRIET JONES! YAY!
The Torchwood series must have been greenlit by now, no? The way they keep mentioning it
These Sycorax are giving me Buffy season 1 demon realness. Oof
Hee. The new Doctor is vain
OMG, his hand! The Doctor got Luke Skywalker'd!
Huzzah! Rose's mum (Jackie) saved the day!
Torchwood is ready? I have seen some of that show, and generally, they weren't ready for anything
Ah, so Harriet turns villain/anti-hero by blowing up the retreating ship of the aliens, just to keep the secret of Earth hidden a bit longer. The Doctor obviously doesn't agree, being a vicious pacifist, but he's functionally immortal. The narrative condemns Harriet, MP, but I get where she's coming from
"Doesn't she look a bit tired" are the words that bring Harriet's reign down. That's a bit of kicker, how mean-spirited and real that is
5 out of 8 Tardes. It would've been 6, but that damn Christmas tree outline in the wall was just a notch too Looney Tunes.
