why do Billie and David look like 2 kids who have been dragged into a family picture against their will
it's like they're waiting to run off and RTD is like "DON'T YOU DARE! you are going to sit on my lap and take pictures with the rest of the fam" and then grabs on to them extra tight just in case

I genuinely don’t think anything will ever top the feeling of watching the Doctor and the other Doctor and Rose and Jackie and Mickey and Martha and Donna and Jack and Sarah Jane fly the Earth home in Journey’s End. That episode came out fifteen years ago and I have yet to find any other moment of a movie or TV show that makes me feel quite so brilliantly joyful. And I am completely okay with that.

My Doctor Who headcanon is that the 14th Doctor is trying to live a normal life now when he’s on earth with Donna but he is far too restless and unexperienced.
For example, he definitely eats stuff straight out of the package in stores while grocery shopping. Also, instead of finding a job he goes with Donna to her job everyday only to distract her by being restless and inpatient and draw weird alien stuff on every whiteboard he can find.
Honestly, this is already canon to me.

Some of you forget that the song used at the end of The Christmas Invasion
WAS SPECIFICALLY WRITTEN FOR DOCTOR WHO.
It’s called ‘Song for Ten’ and in the episode it’s sung by Tim Phillips, but on the soundtrack it’s sung by Neil Hannon. I personally prefer the TV version as it feels more triumphant and full.
And what makes it better, is that it’s written from 9/10’s perspective! The TV version only goes over the first half of the song, the happy part, it’s about the doctor and rose!
But the second half… oh goodness. ‘So have a good life, do it for me, make me so proud, like you want me to be. Wherever you are, I’m thinking of you, oceans apart. I want you to know…’ ITS ABOUT THE DOCTOR AND ROSE BEING SEPARATED! AND THE WAY THEY CUT OFF THAT LINE LIKE ‘If it’s my last chance to say it… Rose Tyler…’ AHSBSJBEKCND
‘And I woke up today AND YOU WERE ON THE OTHER SIDE?!?’ LIKE BRO AKBDJWBJDISBKCJWKOCJWNFLOCBAKXOISBEMFOC ATOP YOU’RE KILLING ME MURRAY GOLD!
