#i talk sometimes #art talk #i made a tweet like this on twatter ages ago but i've been feeling this a lot lately #also this is the start of me writing more on this blog and not only using it as art because who cares!! i don't!!#I wanna translate raw emotion into colors and shapes. I wanna know where to ignore all details and where to go ham you feel me?#i used to dream about developing a style like for MtG where it looked like a masterful oil painting that oozes realism and details #and i've realised the last two years or so that I would actually hate that for me. I know I wouldn't enjoy doing it. For myself.#it's that pipeline from wanting to be the perfect realistic wotc artist to accepting that I will never be that #instead i wanna learn how to stylise better and get a good brush economy going yknow. I wanna be bolder.#i doubt i'll ever be as incredible as all these MtG artists no matter what anyone says. but it's ok!! i don't have to be!!!#i just luv art man!!

Rewatching clockwork island adventure and GRGHHH, i will never be normal about zoro and luffy??? just look at how fast zoro's face changes into a wide grin when he sees his captain doing his usual chaotic thing. He runs after his captain while saying "You think you can do it alone!?" (translation: there's no way i'm going to let you do stupid fun stuff without me)

And the way luffy instantly consults his first mate?? "Hey zoro, what do we do now!?", and zoro being zoro of course replies with "Leave it to me!" (with a smug face/grin on his face!)

Of course luffy can always count on zoro, of course zoro will always be ready to join and support his captain with his spontaneous and chaotic plans. Of course-

you’ve told satan a million times it isn’t his fault. voice soft and kind and accepting as you press a steady hand on the base of his spine, ever so slowly moving up. and down.

“your wrath is a part of you,” you whisper soothingly, “and it’s ok that sometimes it spills out. i know you try your best, your brothers know too.”

but it doesn’t change anything. nothing ever does.

the sadness is still suffocating after he explodes and it pairs easily with guilt, eating away at the demon whose anger turns heat, pricking away at his eyes. he shoves his palms roughly to his face, swiping harshly at the tears. he doesn’t deserve to feel sorry.

sorry for not being able to control himself, sorry for being weak. he’d yelled at you with a harsh voice and even harsher words. if anyone is allowed to cry, it’s you.

maybe you do, maybe you don’t. satan doesn’t know, he stormed to his room as soon as his tongue spat and hissed and betrayed him. it’s easier not to face you, not when he loves you.

it’s a few hours of punishing himself, wrath entirely dissipated, when satan’s DDD rings. it’s you. the shock comes running through satan’s veins like a bullet. all he’d done and you still cared, giving the demon the time and space needed to cool down before checking on him. knowing full well that if he’d been mean to you, he’d be awfully crueller to himself.

satan takes too long to collect his thoughts, collect himself. his DDD stops ringing - and then, not even a second later, starts again. this time, satan surges forward to pick up.

One of my personal goals at the moment is not to box myself in when it comes to fashion. Fashion is important to me bc I was raised by a mother who refused to leave the house unless she looked the most elegant and classy she possibly could, and bc of her I also developed a taste for that kind of vibe. But I also feel like I play it safe most times and just want to experiment w things every now and then I think

#LIKE. i was into the 90s clean girl aesthetic before it became cool #and I’ll probably always default to the model off duty / basics / simple / classy & elegant vibe #this is my mom’s influence and I will never not love it #but I also really feel like experimenting w color and styles every now and then just for fun #no one will replace audrey hepburn / lily rose depp / princess di etc etc as my main style inspos #but!!! more experimentation. more fun. more color. more playfulness. i think that would be good for me at my age #it’s also what I appreciate abt gen z — I think one of the things I luv is how fashion is so central to us / our self-expression #and I want in on that #not even in an effort to overhaul my daily style or anything. genuinely just experimenting bc why tf not.#it’s why I’ve been trying to gravitate to fun and flirty and playful campaigns more and more even if it’s out of my comfort zone #simple is good. simple is my favorite. but I want to be more curious in general #p
