Hello darling! First of all, thank you so much! It really makes me happy that people like my ocs! It really means a lot. Not to mention that I was generally surprised to see that so many liked Lucy's design! thanks yall! I was so happy to read those comments 🖤
And well, yeah! I want to write a fanfic with her so I have a few things planned. Lucy is an old oc frommmm 2019, but I decided to bring her back to life with a redising and all 🦇
Soooooo Lucy Fernby is a British girl who was born in 1975. Her parents are quite famous musical artists (especially her father) so she always had an approach to music. Actually, Lucy has absolute pitch and ease with some instruments, however she prefers to play the bass and write songs to cope with certain emotions that she doesn't know how to share. If I had to assign her a voice, I would say that she speaks like Gwen of Total Drama but with a British accent (although certainly Serena's voice from downtown is still an option lmao) , and when she sings it would sound like Mary Elizabeth McGlynn.
Even so, her parents (Emily, a goth singer and Luke, a rock band guitarist) got divorced when she was still a child. Her father returns to the USA but still tries to be as present in her life as possible. Despite this, due to a situation that Lucy does not want to talk about, they distance themselves when she is 14. I CLARIFY because I know it is very ambiguous, no, her father did not hurt her or anything, only Lucy keeps everything to herself.
Lucy had a lot of problems that affected her way of relating to others, both with people of her age and with her own parents. Due to a series of bad decisions she misses the school year and that's when her mother decides that it is best to send her to live with her father so that she can get away from "the toxic environment she is in."
(conclusion that Emily draws after brief questions that Lucy did not develop when she answering)
This is how Lucy ends up going to live with her father at the Addison Apartments because well, a rock star who lives in a town that no one knows = peace of mind and time which he can dedicate to his daughter and himself!
oh, another fun fact of her! A year before moving to the Addison Apartments, she had a platonic friend/crush named Meri with whom she lost connection. I mention this because Lucy has a tendency to isolate herself when something happens and simply end a relationship instead of fighting for it, which she did at the time with Sally and the rest of the gang, but she has learned to be more open about how she feels.

New OC time!!
So…we all know Deltarune, right? ovo
As I’ve become viscerally obsessed with it over the years, it only makes sense to introduce you to an OC I’ve made for the franchise^^
Let me introduce you to Retra! The preppy, curious, fun-loving 80s themed printer girl!
Residing in the famed Cyber City, she spends her days making beautiful printer pieces for her cyber citizens! Living an artist’s dream. At night…
Sneaking away to meet someone…?👀
Ooo, mystery! (Except not really as is clearly depicted in the above picture)
This calls for a backstory!
…
The earliest of her memories…was not the most pleasant. Far behind in a long abandoned alleyway, a musical trio had been wandering around looking for scraps when they came across something heart-rending.
The three were shocked! It was a new face…roughed up and unconscious behind a sewer grate.
“What should we do? They need our help!”
But it was hardly worth pondering. You don’t just leave an unconscious person stranded in an alleyway.
“K_K, quick, help us take her back to the shop!”
“We can’t allow any mademoiselle to be left on the streets! Hurry! She needs us!”
They promptly ran her to their scrap shop. Soon, slowly, she came to. Awaking confused, but grateful for the rescue. It seems…she really remembered nothing. Not even what led to her being in such a scrappy state. Nobody seemed to recognize her either. A new face, no story.
Well, no point in dwelling on it for now. The trio happily volunteered to clean her wounds, give her plenty of refreshments and even offer her an old jacket of theirs to keep her warm.
They all got along very easily.
Spending some time together, she couldn’t help but reflect the best of their personalities. Still, she couldn’t help but feel a little empty.
Then, a new proposal!
“Hey, we love you hangin around…”
“But why don’t we take a trip downtown!”
“We know some folks you might like to meet!”
“Can I come too?”
“You always go with us, K_K.”
And so they journeyed deeper into Cyber City, arriving to introduce their new friend…
To the Addisons!
Oh the adoration, the sympathies. It was like they had seen a lost puppy.
They were willing…no, insistent on taking her in! They treated her like she was one of them. And while Retra was always welcome back at the scrap shop, she felt like the city really gave her room to breathe! It was really her element.
Finally free to build her identity, the Addisons gleefully gave their new member of the Ad family a fresh makeover!
But their craft was yet finished! Soon enough, Retra was taught the way of the advertiser.
But their true ambitions were in the arts. So, confiding in their musical friends, they created their own print shop from borrowed scraps and started her journey as not only an Addison, but a commissioner!
And it's going smooth! Well, it was for a while at least. Since this strange "outage", business has been quite slow. But she aims to keep her head up high!
Something strange though... "Rose" Addison, at some point pulled her aside to warn her about a certain...someone. She was not allowed near THAT dumpster so long as she was living with them.
The warning was vague...just that this mysterious individual got corrupted somehow...and she doesn't want to see the same happen to them. A kind enough gesture, they supposed but...
Yeah it didn't go very far.
One night, deciding not to wait for the garbage person, they decided against the Addisons' wishes and took matters into their own hands. It was just one small trip after all, what harm could it do? Maybe something interesting would finally happen after a long streak of slow business and boring empty shifts.
And Interesting things happen, they did. Of course, this is where she met her scrappy little friend and well...perhaps that's a story for another time^^
The little retro rebel kept sneaking out to see him night after night, getting up to ridiculous shenanigans and wondering how the Addisons could ever keep her from such a funny little soul.
She just couldn't help but be drawn to him! After all...he reminded her of a certain someone else who once wound up stuck in the gutter...

addison montgomery fanfiction recs by pairing
(although i am *relatively* new to the greys fandom, once i finished season three i immediately obsessively scoured the internet for any addison montgomery centric fanfiction i could get my hands on. here are just a few of my favorite ones for each of my addison ships (of which there are many). this is by no means an exhaustive list. my qualifications for this are that i’m cool and have good taste and spend way too much time thinking about fictional people)
ADDEK:
-“The Climbing Way” by winter machine (this is actually probably one of my favorite fanfictions of all time, period. this author is just absolutely brilliant at capturing their dynamic and all of its complexities. the entire thing is actually from derek’s POV which i was surprised how much i enjoyed considering i can sometimes be a derek hater lol but it provides some really good insight into his character without being as forgiving as canon or as bash-y as some fics (if that makes any sort of sense?). it also combines two of my favorite addek tropes: “sad baby backstory” and “traumatic event forces them to actually confront their issues”. it is also a very captivating portrait of derek and mark’s realtionship and has lots and lots of flashbacks. big angst warning especially for the early chapters.)
-“Some Bright Morning” by winter machine (i just can’t get enough of this author. i love any addek fic that heavily features savvy and weiss bc i think they should have made more appearances in canon. or savvy should’ve at least lmao. weiss was kind of a dick. but i like him in this fic! this is a very very interesting AU because it takes place largely outiside of canon settings and features a lot of OCs. it also takes place around early season one so the mark wound is still very fresh. its set entirely on a small island in georgia during savvy’s mother’s funeral so there’s plenty of forced proximity and bed sharing. the original setting and cast of characters are really fleshed out and completely captivating. like, i would read a whole separate story just about this island and its inhabitants. also features lots of background on savvy and addison’s friendship. and plenty of angst of course. you may be sending a pattern with these recommendations)
-“do you think i have forgotten (about you)” by crime_wives (this one legitimately made me sob. like, my body produced actual tears. angsty one shot. not happy-addek. a perfect snapshot of their tragic ending)
- “Unhinged (AddisonandDerekandMark)” by RulerOfAllThatIsEvilChiFlowers (very dark. very twisty. somewhat non linear.)
- “This Hurt Can Teach Us Both” by darlingwrecks (oh my lord this one is so so addek- bittersweet, sexy, nostalgic, painful and delightful all at once. my favorite thing about this writer is the way they write backstory, especially for the Med School Trio. this is also kind of fun because we never got to see how these two dealt with their post divorce logistics. derek was just kind of like “take all the property and fuck off” which is not at all how these things work lol)
MEDDISON:
- “lately she’s undressing for revenge” by emilyprentits (only read this if you want to be driven to tear your own hair out by the emotions this will make you feel. this is one of the fics that fully convinced me to ship meddison. so so so good and it’s like it was written from inside of meredith’s actual brain)
-“i’ll show you every version of yourself tonight” by withpeopleinperson (two words: stripper addison. read it. be forewarned it’s only one chapter and has not been updated in a few years but it’s a GREAT chapter regardless)
-“the seven stages of intoxication” by theprincessdiarist (meredith grey doling out meredith grey levels of emotional dysfunction. featuring loads and loads of delightfully frustrating mutual pining)
-“Sex and Caring in Seattle” by Bluefall (meredith once again having totally normal and regular feeling about her ex boyfriend’s wife. i love this one because they are both just kind of bisexual disasters and derek is just Also There. i love the way this author perfectly captures meredith’s perpetual inability to navigate her own emotions)
*EDIT: i also realized i forgot to add that these last two were recommended to me by @crime-wives !!!
-“open the floodgates up” by SugarsweetRomantic (this has EVERYTHING you could want in a meddison fic: mutual hurt/comfort, bed sharing, friends to lovers, these two being absolute dumbasses about each other. had me crying and also kicking my feet. genuinely)
MADDISON:
-“Make This Go On Forever” by darlingwrecks (i am so in love with this universe. i usually don’t gravitate toward kid/family centric fics but this one is so so much more than that. it’s maddison, if those two had made a real go of things, stayed in new york, and kept the pregnancy. there’s even some background merder eventually (which is not usually my jam but i like in this context). very very fluffy at times, a bit angsty at others, super in character but iirc i think this was written pretty early on in the show so addison and mark’s backgrounds may be a smidge different than in canon. this is the link to the rewritten version (i think?) on ao3. the author had the original up on live journal back in the day and i could have SWORN i read a sequel that i found a link to in the depths of their LJ but i cannot find it anywhere rn)
-“When I Grow Up” by winter machine (another maddison-if-they’d-stayed-in-new-york-and-addison-kept-the-pregnancy, but with a twist that brings them to seattle to see derek, who they haven’t spoken to in seven years. a fantastic plot but also sort of just a brilliant exploration of how mark and addison would be as parents given their own childhoods and how they have pretty much been cut off from the one healthy(ish) family dynamic that either of them have experienced. there’s also background merder in this one and it actually kind of made me like merder which is a major feat)
-“Celery” by winter machine (a fun little one shot featuring Derek Being An Idiot, Drunk Addison, and Mark Crossing Boundaries. a little bit sad and a little bit funny. again, everything by this author is just great)
JADDISON:
- “A Certain Slant of Light” by darlingwrecks (this is for those of us that were weirded out by addison’s convo with amelia in season 18. a more fleshed out exploration of addison’s mental health during the pandemic. it’s a very raw and honest portrayal of depression and anxiety and how someone like addison would navigate it while being a doctor in a global pandemic and raising an 8 year old. it’s not nearly as bleak as it sounds though. lots of fluff, a little smut. also touches on how addison might’ve grieved mark and derek. and archer makes some appearances which i loved (i know he’s an asshole but i really like addison’s brother lol))
-“Diamonds in the Sky” by Ziaaaaa_sdc (there’s so few jaddison fics out there, probably because of how compressed their relationship timeline was as they tried to wrap up the show, but this writer has several and they’re all so good. there definitely aren’t enough fun AUs for them so i was really excited when i first found this. its Ballet School Jaddison and there’s actually only three chapters atm. no idea if it will be updated ever again but it’s still more than worth a read. a smidge angsty so far. also seems to be setting up a little enemies to lovers arc)
CADDISON:
-“Help Me (With The Butterflies)” by BlackRoseMatron (a very sweet one shot. this author is single-handedly keeping the caddison shippers fed and i love it. they also have some really great meddison stuff)

Okay so this may be only because I'm writing a human / paranormal AU with my Addison OC's (and also watched The Last Voyage of the Demeter) but like.
More media should focus on the inherent horror of BEING A VAMPIRE ITSELF, rather than the horrors of being AROUND one.

Kid who got turned into a vampire and doesn't even know they're dead, just staying at the same mentality and age forever while those they love grow and leave and die around them, possibly getting the urges to kill them or drink their blood themselves and not understanding why they're feeling these urges.
Person who was religious in life being turned into a vampire and, instead of giving into the monster side, breaking down, wondering why they were punished by the world and their deity for doing all the right they could in the world by being turned into what is seen and supposed to be an enemy of all that is good in their lives, and is now actively harmed by the imagery they prayed to and was brought comfort by (crosses, holy water, etc).
Person who was transformed and is now doomed to walk the earth forever, shunned every place they go and by their own loved ones as a monster, as a sinful creature, an abomination to humanity, immortal for the rest of time until someone else decides to kill them in cold blood, with urges they don't understand nor want to give into, where refusing will bring them intense suffering that cannot even be solved by inevitable death and relief.
Just suffering until they give into the monster they never wished to become.

THIS IS THE KIND OF ANGSTY MEDIA I CRAVE, HOLLYWOOD. Less of Dracula-like, promiscuous bloodsucking villains living in a fancy castle and more Average Joe fighting against or inevitably having to give into the changes that make them an outcast to the whole world, whether by vampire society, human society, or both as a whole.

One piece of lore about me that will never make sense to anybody but those involved is that a drawing of spamton and jevil making out sloppy style put against the lesbian flag with the caption “GET REAL” for the longest time was an inside joke in an addison server I was in and we would redraw it with our ocs all the fucking time. It was an emote and every oc redraw was also an emote. Just for fun. Whenever something homosexual in nature happened in an rp we would react to the messages with a get real. If a new relationship was made canon between our ocs the top priority was ALWAYS to redraw the Get Real with them and STAT. and at some point it led to me showing the original op of the drawing and he loved all of it and now we’re mutuals

Well, not physically but- metaphorically." Full of anxiety. A little taller than spamton but not as tall as the others so second shortest.
White - Spamton g Spamton. he/him Named because he was they guy handling sending out the spam emails. He never really fit in all that much. Used to be the youngest, is now second youngest. Shortest.
All of their last names are Addison (except for Spammy, he changed his name because he doesn't really see himself like the others and because it gives the name a better ring for branding.)

WAIT I HAVE A QUESTION this is for scientific research How did you come up with your ocs names ? people tend to have very different methods for this so i wanted to know ^_^
I name my characters a couple of different ways, actually. I either just ask people, take names from existing characters from stuff I like, or base the name off of something about them, sometimes making a (bad) pun out of it. Sometimes a random name just comes to mind, and I can't think of anything better so I stick with it.
My thought process for my splatoons under cut i felt like listing all of it
Chamelo Fláje is a chameleon tilefish. His full name is supposed to be a stretch of a pun on “Camouflage.” His first name sounds like “Camilo” but made to look like “Chameleon.” He used to just be a chameleon before Splatoon happened, so that's why there's the camouflage pun. Asker used to be an Addison from Deltarune, one that did really shitty online quiz advertisements and...like..quizzes .ask questions I guess.... Their last name, Scalefin, is taken from part of one of the names their species (Lyretail anthias) is called.
Diesel's first name is because Diesel came to mind and I literally couldn't think of anything else and I OHHHHHHH I know why I thought of it now i was obsessed with the crude oil video and i . associated it with chamelo . Anyways his last name, Fintasma, is because he's a ghost shark (not an actual shark, just a cartilaginous fish, also known as a chimaera) ... and then I tried to think of something to do with the word "phantom" because ghost. Then I thought of Touhou game Phantasmagoria of Flower View/Dim. Dream and phantom turned into phantasmagoria, which turned into phantasma, which turned into Fintasma. Fish pun 👍
Valerie Adorabilufu because Valerie just reminded me of Valentines day and that's pretty pink and she's got pink. Adorabilufu because unofficial scientific name for the flapjack octopus is opisthoteuthis adorabilis, and the old english word for love, which is “lufu.” So like. Her last name is "adorable love" LOL

For Sharlotte Licha, she's a shark, Charlotte -> Sharlotte, "Shar-" like Shark. Licha because species (Dalatias licha)
Hecatia Ferox because she's partially based off of Hecatia Lapislazuli from Touhou. Ferox because of her species (Alepisaurus ferox) and "ferox" means something like ferocious, which she is.
Merlyn Niji-kawa's name is taken from yet another Touhou, Merlin Prismriver. Her last name is sometimes translated as "niji-kawa," which means "rainbow river." And Merlyn is a rose-veiled fairy wrasse, a very colorful fish! Also Merlin plays the trumpet, Merlyn does too, I couldn't resist.
Chloe Khroma, she's a blue-green chromis, khroma is the greek origin word for "chrome."
Elia Aulucara, Elia just came from a name someone suggested. Her last name is a butchering of Aulonocara, the peacock cichlid species genus name.

hi! I finally watched Eviction Day...
And recently, I've been trying to verbally describe over text for MONTHS on how to describe what a certain OC of mines saw and went through.
And the Call scene with the Blue Addison is LITERALLY A PERFECT VISIBLE REPRESENTATION OF WHAT I HAD IN MIND.
You esSENTIALLY PROVIDED ME WHAT I'VE BEEN NEEDING ON A GOLDEN FUCKING PLATTER !!
The entire animation was a fucking GODSEND, considering it only took several months-
HOW LONG DID THAT CALL SCENE EVEN TAKE?? THAT'S NOT EVEN CONSIDERING THE NEO SCENE- 😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨

Eviction Day was started last august..so it took essentially a year to make.
By call scene, I take when the Blue Addison picks up the phone?
I'll be real...like a week?
but...a big reason was because it took ALOT of people to make that scene!
Originally, this garbage noise scene was a collection of like 6 2 second scenes each animated in their own style.
One day however, Marineflames (who did the backgrounds on this project, please give them love!) told me they had an idea and presented me with this storyboard
It was 600000000x better than what I had in mind and pretty much combined all the ideas from 6 different scenes into one cohesive idea.
We went for this one instead.
The original animatic is on my patreon if you wanted to see it though...
This scene was actually roughed by my cleanup animator @/cupidtxt . They did a really good job at it!!!!
Marine did the beautiful heaven gate drawing and roughed out Spamton melting as well as the render of spamton's face..I did the rotoscope animation and shoved the thing full of post-production effects.
Really, that scene was a massive team effort...actually the second to last shot completed on the short

Big art dump (also happy autism awareness month!)
Ok so first thing was just some art I did for autism awareness month because this sort of thing means a lot to me. These are all just headcanons (except Kayz and Cain but that's cause they're my ocs and canonically) so if yoy wanna hear more about them don't be afraid to send an ask!
Next page I'm actually super proud of, and Khalil is just so fun to color omg omg! Also the Geist and Khalil one was fun to draw. The ship art too once I got the sketch done.
Third thing was just some sketches I wanted to do, I accidentally made Jack's skin tone a little dark (I use Rose beige but used brick brown by accident- oops) but I think it still turned out good. Also the Orange addison is slaying that pose
Next 3 things was an art project for school. We had to make (or remake) album covers or music posters, so I decided to create a theoretical Tesla album! It turned out pretty good, could've done better on the shading tho.
Then there's some sketches for an au where Drunk Guy gets Hanahaki disease! I'm still messing with it but can talk about it if you wanna hear ^^
Then I drew Spamton because I love him and I needed comfort that day really badly.
Then final thing I redrew a scene from entry 61 because I was feeling bad lol.
Also I'm doing better now for people worried.
