- def started off as a faceless streamer. she wasn’t really comfortable on camera, and she just thought it would be way easier. you can only see her shoulders-down leaving her (deliciosu. scrumptious. yummy) arms in the cameras view.

- her twitch user is “creeperewman” cuz shes like…discreetly hiding her initials and referencing the best minecraft parody ever 😕!!!

- bought the most random shitty mic and webcam and started streaming 🔥🔥 she never got rid of either of them its part of her odd loser charm

“‘fartmaster69:it’s probably cuz your camera’ it’s probably bc of YOUR CAMERA!!! theres nothing wrong w my camera bro 😞”

“don’t listen to them…ur perfect 🤫 IM NOT TALKING TO U GUYS IM TALKING TO MY CAMERA”

- only had a few viewers the first couple times she streamed, and it was some random 10 yr old who kept spamming “yassss” in the chat and some dude who said she was shit at minecraft 😞 he was LYING

- started off doing minecraft speed runs (or trying to) and got like way good over time

- she randomly started getting more and more viewers, because people kept posting abt her and calling her fine on tiktok , making edits of her hands and her voice 😭😭 (real)

- as she got more and more viewers, she started branching out more with the games she’d play. def loves shooter games like cod and pubg, but she’d also play like indie horror games like faith (omg markiplier fans would know)

- she has a orange cat she named garfield (cuz…of course she does) and he’s always sitting on her lap during her streams or messing w her setup 💔💔

- def put stickers all over her headset and showed them off all proud on stream

- designed her own cute banners and stuff for streams 😞!!!

- def had a subreddit/disc server with her viewers where she’d let them give her game recs or make memes of her

- ppl saw her guitar in the back of her streams and BEGGED HER to play it and she had her own lil concert stream !!! she was so freaking nervous and messed up a bunch the first like minute or two but like after that she was in the ZONE

- when she INSANELY hit 1k, she did a face reveal and she hit 10k the same day 😦 the amount of edits that ppl made was actually insane. ESP ONES MAKING FUN OF DREAMS FACE REVEALLLL

- started doing much more random shit on stream after she got more famous. she LOVES cooking on stream, and she’d start reacting to random shit ppl sent her on the subreddit

- she cut her hair on stream once, and everyone in the chat kept spamming “yo bob…is fye” for like 5 minutes 😪

- “you’re at work watching me? i hope you get fired. i mean. i hope you don’t get fired 😞”

- she gets so many thirst comments and like…is terrible at responding to them

- she has her own apartment cuz of her awesome streaming money 🔥🔥🔥 soundproofed walls too cuz she’s. loud.

- one day, you were walking on campus to a class. you had your headphones on, listening to your main playlist on shuffle, when you got stopped by someone. you pulled your headphones off your ears and gave the man in front of you a confused look. you looked down to his hands, holding a tiny mic, and another dude holding a camera.

“what song are you listening to?” he held the microphone towards you, awaiting your response.

you quickly responded “uhm, last goodbye, by jeff buckley.” and stood there awkwardly, pushing a piece of hair out of your face.

the man quickly thanked you and you walked away, slightly suprised.

- after a couple hours, the video had blown up and the comments were filled with people complimenting you.

- ellie checked her phone and saw thousands of people tagging your comment, and she wasted zero time following you on tiktok. and your instagram. its not stalking if its in your bio, right?

- you two immediately hit it off, and ellie loved the fact that you had absolutely no idea who she was. to you, she was just some hot girl. not some famous streamer you were obsessed with.

- she didn’t even realize you two went to the same school until she saw you in her astrophysics class one day, and she almost had a heart attack when you waved at her and walked over to sit next to her.

“what a coincidence.”

- she took you out on your first date to a planetarium, and not even a week after, asked you to be her girlfriend.

- she definitely teaches you how to play her favorite games. but she gets wayyyy defensive when you beat her.

- definitely helps you build your own pc.

I dont have any additions to Teyvat language yet (other anons have a more in depth explanations while mine is just shitposts wheEZE--) but I did have an idea for a Genshin AU.

I'm pretty sure everybody has heard about the blue alien people Avatar. Tribal people from another planet. (Also I just stumbled upon the forests of Sumeru while going through Chasm quests. The one that has giant mushrooms).

Imagine Genshin in the Avatar Au. Sumeru can be based on the first movie (It fits cause from what I can explore of Sumeru reminds me of the time I watched Avatar of the first time. Pure awe and wonder..) While the Water nation can be based on the 2nd movie, Hoyoverse hasnt released the name of the Water Country yet so we're just waiting. Mondstadt can be based on the upcoming 3rd (4th or 5th? Idk they had it lined up) movie that involves being high above the clouds. Kind of like the Jade palace or the Floating Abode in the serenitea pot.

Its all I could base for now since the other movies dont have that much info yet to be paired with Genshin's countries.

Ya know,

Eywa the tree could even be a sort of source to the eyes of Teyvat of what you look like while u were playing the game

Like how Eywa's little jellyfish reach ppl in the forest and shit? I think?

So like i would imagine that whatever u make certain vessels or acolytes do most often, is what they think they should offer u :0

— JHDJSH he actually was just shocked from coming home and momentarily thinking someone 2d had broken into his house djksadj but fr he's so supportive of ur hobby !!!

—like luke, he'd become ur personal photographer and he'd also be the one who randomly sits down next to you with his laptop in hand and be like "hey isn't this the set for (this character ur planning to cosplay)" and u'll be like "yeah but i haven't saved up enough to buy it yet-" then he literally orders it on the spot 😵‍💫😵‍💫

< guy w an aq full of shrimps. i dunno how long the aquarium + filter has been running but if u just started it's likely not fully cycled yet. (id still put the betta in a tank instead of keep it in the cup, i'd just look up how to do fish-in cycling. tldr cycling = growing enough bacteria in the filter that eat toxic fish pee to make it less toxic to the fish) also i wld get a dechlorinator chemical bottle instead of waiting fr the chlorine to gas out of the water bc some places also use chloramine which stays in the water and still hurts fishes :[

i also do not mean this to be patronizing and if you already knew these things i apologize if so ^^; i just always speak up bc i love helping out new ppl and want to see fishies thrive and i know some pet stores dont tell this stuff to ppl

omg no i understand! Oh yeah I bought a decholrinator that's what I meant by waiting for it to. Cycle through that shit says wait 15 min minimum.

Don't worry not pataronzing at all! Fish and esp betas get abused so easily cause people just dont know how to take care of them I appericate you coming and telling me.

I was thinking about getting shrimp too but the lady at the store was like "my biggest worry would be theyre so small the beta will eat them" N i saw some at another pet store (the local one bc the pet co didnt have any) and I get what she was sayin they were too small he would eat them up.

I plan on getting a bigger fish tank when I move out one of those fancy ones on top of a cabinate maybe i'll add a fish or two if I have enough space and make sure it's a type that'll get along first.

Right now I put him in the cup floating in the tank so we can get adjusted to the temperature of the tank and gonna put a lil tank water in there to help him adjust to ph levels in a bit before giving him free rein.

just finished what i (for some reason) thought was the last chapter of all your blood and was temporarily gutted thinking that was how it ended… turns out that was not the last chapter but i am still gutted! big props to your writing man!!! i love lottienat but i have a hard time finding fics that feel true to their actual characters, so naturally when i found this i spent the entire night speed reading it. id love to know more about your mindset when writing them, their motivations in both happiness and the wide range of sadness between both of them and stuff like that. again big compliments to you!

honestly, i struggle with these girls a lot. I'm a real stickler on characterization—my general philosophy on fanfic is that fic is really a sort argument one is making about the text that one is writing fic for: that argument being, under these circumstances, these characters would think/feel/act this way, and you need to have evidence from the original text to back up the thoughts/feelings/actions you put in your writing. I know, that sounds like an insane and not fun way to write! But i like it :) having canonical validation of my writing choices makes brain go burr :)

so the real issue i run up against in yj fic is that i'm writing abt a scenario in which they were never in the plane crash, and the plane crash is so vital to who these characters are and how they act in canon that i can really only pull from like, the pilot and flashbacks for the basis to my characterization. lottie esp is very difficult, because we have essentially no idea what she was like pre-crash and fully medicated. so on one hand that's fun, i get to have my own little ideas :D on the other hand it's rough, bc need everything to seem canonical and perfect >:(

in any case! the characterization i settled upon!

i feel like one of natalie's primary character traits is that she thinks she's inherently a bad person incapable of achieving anything worthwhile in her life or experiencing any happiness that will not inevitably be ripped from her grasp or held against her in someway—poor baby, she's traumatized :( so she has a hard time connecting with people, because she trusts no one and hates herself. she wants to be loved like everyone else does, but she constantly gets in her own way without necessarily even knowing why. she has no healthy frame of reference for what love is supposed to look like, so she feels like she's bound to fuck it up eventually if she ever does accept love from someone. and on some level she does not think she deserves to be happy or loved, because of how inherently bad a person she is. GOD that's depressing. also she has no impulse control, perhaps due to the insatiable void of repressed longing within her.

lottie, on the other hand, is so openly and ardently desperate to give and receive love. she's been lonely for so much of her life and she really isn't ashamed of the fact that she wants to be connected with other people (unlike some natalies i could name...). she's deeply empathetic, very charismatic, honestly great at the whole human connection deal. her largest hang up is her mental health, which she feels is the main thing that keeps her from being able to love and be loved the way she's always wanted. she hides her struggles and performs normalcy in order to gain access to the friendship and love she thinks she will be denied if she were to be entirely honest about who she is. her parents were really the biggest factor in instilling that mindset into her. fuck those guys.

so how does that create the dynamic that plays out between them? lottie ends up making a lot of the first moves, not because natalie doesn't feel just as strongly about their relationship, but because natalie is scared and lottie is frankly a bit impatient. she sees through nat's bs, loves her anyway, and wants to get this fucking show on the road. natalie does not know how to deal with being cared for so strongly, so honestly. it's never happened before, she was pretty sure it was impossible. lottie's love sort of destablizes nat's personal perspective, leading to a very tumultuous emotional state wherein to accept being loved is much, much harder and scarier than to insist upon being hated. oof.

lottie, for her part, admires how nat refuses to change herself for other people—not that natalie doesn't care what other people think. she absolutely cares about and internalizes what other people think of her. but she keeps going anyway, doesn't make any attempt to appease those who disapprove. lottie, as a person who keeps a lot inside in order to be liked by other people, sees in natalie the possibility of being yourself—a self that the world doesn't particularly care for—and being good, being loved anyway. if lottie can love nat, and nat can love lottie, then lottie can love herself. it's like a lil math problem or smthn.

idk man, it's so complicated. there's so much i could say—we haven't even mentioned the side characters, nor did i break down the exact moments in canon i use to validate all my writing choices! i think it would perhaps be slightly unhinged for me to do that! i spend a lot of time thinking about this stuff. i guess it's worth it if it's leading to a fic that people enjoy lol?

hello! i am pinning this on my blog because i just saw a bunch of messages in my inbox asking for donations or boosting. firstly, i am not a good person to ask/send those to, because i never check my inbox. besides, i honestly am not really sure how. i literally have a 20 minute daily limit on the tumblr app, so i come and look and leave.

thing number 2 is that i dont really have money to give. i know we're all living off a circular crowdfund hoping to make it to next week, and i dont mind anyone shooting their shot. just a warning that i cannot often donate (usually when I do it's because someone has just given me money specifically to donate to others. thats what i ask for as a gift typically). i dont reblog a lot of posts about MA because they make me feel panicked and guilty over not being able to contribute, although I reblog the ones that aren't pressuring. i'm setting this boundary and won't elaborate further, thank u for understanding.

however i would love to help people put if i can in other ways. you can try sending me a message and i'm slightly more likely to see it. i still dont check very often, but at least i know how.

I have lots of experience with The System and research in general. i can provide informal advice on government benefits (esp food stamps), registering to vote, getting access to your legal documents (like if they were lost/stolen or someone is controlling them), finding and affording medical care including abortion and therapy. i also have medical training, so i can provide advice (peer to peer, not professional) on treating minor stuff and telling you went to go get treatment.

i do a lot of activism around disability, healthcare, and housing (and lack thereof). i problem solve for fun and help people compulsively (like actually, it's come up in therapy). i can help you get a bus or train or plane ticket. or find community support near you. if it's not too expensive, i can probably help/find people to help pay for things, or find the right forms to fill out to get them for free.

I want to help everyone, as much as possible, all the time. its overwhelming and literally impossible, but i do what i can. for my health im setting boundaries, some visible but most not, which are just for myself. no one has ever been rude or hostile, and we're all going through it, this is not a grudge against anyone.

The longfic in question is Cue the Sun -- I'm still working through it rn, and I'm hoping to start publishing sometime this summer/fall -- woot woot graduation time! Right now, it's looking to be about 6-7 long-ish chapters? Which is def a longfic in my book lol (I'm trying to get it all written out before I start posting -- that way I can keep with a consistent update schedule)

like i get having preferences for what u write and don't write + what u enjoy writing and what u write bc someone requested it BUT if you have an ask blog and are taking requests, outside of the "i don't write x" things, don't have an ask blog if u like ???? aren't gonna branch out?

like you can have a hcs blog and call it that and only write what you want--that's it. that's literally it. but when u have an ask blog bc ur writing for other ppl and then u go "he wouldn't do this" like ??? just say ur writing for yourself and save us the trouble LOL

bc even if u feel like a character wouldn't have a specific kink, people aren't generally sending u scenarios bc they expect to be shot down or for the prompt to be watered down--they expect to have the actual scenario written

so again, just ??? make hcs. make posts. you don't need someone to send you the right message for you to write what you want to see--esp when u then turn ppl's requests into something they didn't ask for bc ur never going to write sub hcs WHICH IS FINE BUT DON'T GET MY HOPES UP AND DON'T TWIST WHAT I ASKED FOR

but when it comes to a kink being "ooc" it's like. yes i have my own hcs and although i'm p flexible or at least will write what ppl request if i'm taking requests (like i won't get a comm on etsy and go "well he wouldn't do that" like no he's doing it, who am i to barge in here and assert my own hc over theirs?), i do have personal opinions on what characters are super into what, how they act, and i shove all my preferences in there when i'm writing for myself!

but it's not the act that's "ooc" bc that's how you get "x person is a bottom and x person is a top and i just know--" rather than like. you cannot and should not look at someone and assume something about them physically, how they act, etc. is indicative of their sexual preferences

yeah i know it's just in fiction here and not irl but god it's so fucking grating to hear "oh this character wouldn't bottom" (like not even sub! someone is stating they will not get fucked in the ass bc they're "too tough") bc you've created this binary of who does what act all the time, who's allowed to do what--

as opposed to living a little? having fun with fiction? imagining what a tough and gruff character would be like in a vulnerable state and how they got there? what they're like giving into desires they probably feel they're not supposed to have? like you're not even making it interesting or complicated if u think a character wouldn't do it, u just see a muscular guy and go "ok i know he's a dom top all the time haha" like :/

boring, uninspired--and you're not even committing to like. "i only write what i want to write," you're going out of your way to bend these fictional dudes--who should be played with like dolls and put in scenarios--into a binary of what's acceptable for them instead of just saying u write dom top hcs bc that's what u love

u pretend there's some "correctness" to it or worse, some moral heft to it where u feel the need to specify the need for consent in a femdom scenario or a pegging scenario whereas it's a given in vanilla or het sex???

like i just want to project onto my characters in peace. i know by now, i can't go asking around for what i want as even gentle femdom is out of the question but christ. don't tell me my kinks are ooc for them based on the kink itself lol

like a character can do Anything in general like even if a writer doesn't anchor it in a scene where their personality outside of the scene comes out that's fine but like it's literally as easy as like (character doing x act) (character either doing so however they're comfortable like yea he calls u a slut but doesn't raise his voice or hit u or smtn) (or post-scene they revert back to the sweet character u think is unsuited for the kink bc u don't realize ppl are playing fucking pretend to get off here!!!)

actually lemme Break Down issue 23 and why max's behavior is. soooo frustrating esp if u read from the 'speedsters lean adhd' angle that seems pretty common

he asks for bart's plan, bart evades, and max accepts this-- he wants to see what bart does. he gives no instruction and never actually bothers to interrogate barts half-baked plan or even to tell him that "hitting" doesnt count as a plan. its pretty clear to me esp since max KNOWS bart that bart doesnt actually have a plan.

bart's right. lol. objectively. also at no point was he told to do the thing max is scolding him for not doing. lol.

hey max remember how at no point have you bothered to explain how your way is better? because you haven't. at any point. also bart's still right. lol.

a) max you literally have a speedster metabolism leave him fucking be. jesus

b) surprise camping trip is not a good solution to helen being justifiably irritated with you but whatever

c) hey so on a related note (and remember for a sec that bart is simultaneously 2 and 14) the most important thing you can do with toddlers and teenagers is give them as much autonomy as possible. so uh. well. surprise camping trip. that bart really doesnt seem excited about-- and like, i cant blame him! i wouldnt be either, and i love camping!

d) hey do you see max poking fun at barts past mistakes bc as someone who has had their parents do that it Fucking Sucks

e) look at the first panel its so pretty. anyway

he's framing this as a criticism, which is fucking rude considering bart has literally no way of knowing you dont bring video games camping, also-- he is knowingly setting bart up to be bored out of his mind. on purpose. he doesnt even propose another way for bart to entertain himself. remember this.

hey fun fact if theres a teacher and a student and the student doesnt learn anything it's the teacher's failure. because bart's trying- bart's trying REALLY HARD. and sure, so is max, but more is expected of teachers than students because a) theyre the adults and b) they know more. theyre coming from a place of knowledge. so anyway hes literally soooo mad at bart for something thats his own damn fault

and here we're seeing bart who clearly can feel that max is mad at him and wants to fix it so so bad. but max isnt mad at bart hes mad at himself (for his failure with helen) and he's taking it out on bart. lol. which means nothing bart does can fix it. which is a horrible feeling.

anyway. this whole thing just makes issue 24 physically painful becasue max and bart separate (presumably forever) without ever making amends, max never apologizes for this and since im now at issue 28 and theyre not mentioning it im going to assume itll be a good long time from now if he ever does, which fucking sucks. anyway. the whole point here is that i love max very much and this was seriously painful to read. and that i saw a post in the bonnie tag about how max shouldve adopted cissie and girl max shouldn't have adopted BART. like dont get me wrong they love each other very much but max is NOT fit to be ANYONE'S mentor.

hi my loves , i have a confession i can't really express ! i feel like it's so hard for me to stay in rps w discord 😭 not that i hate it , tbh i think it's pretty helpful ?? but even when the admins say it's optional i feel like things get cliquey soooo fast. i hate it bc it feels like if i'm not active in the ooc chat 24/7 i miss so much ?? and idk it's not really anyone's fault but has made rping so much harder nowadays. :'( i'm not super social ooc , i mainly like writing and make a few friends , so i feel a sense of online social anxiety if that makes sense ??

that makes sense, i too have social anxiety! it's easy to assume things will be cliquey when you notice people know each other in the ooc chat, but i've come to accept that it's inevitable, especially in this rpc where so much group hopping is happening and rps aren't long lived! people with similar interests will migrate to the same groups. all i can tell you is, put yourself out there! don't think about things too deeply. i do that and usually get good results. you don't need to be active in the ooc chat 24/7, i know i am not, but connecting with others ooc is the best way to flesh out plots in the future. also, maybe smaller groups would work better for you, and that's okay! big groups can make everything seem that much harder. - x

also i wanna just add <3 i struggle with this a lot too and it really messes up my muse to actually write out interesting plots. i wish there was a way to kinda keep rp-ing on discord without there being the whole ooc aspect of like a chat ??? because it does feel like you have to keep up with it or talk to people to actually get anything fun ic ( which is annoying bc my muses have more to offer than i do ? pls KJNDKFJN ) but i will say one thing that helps me a lot is dragging a friend in there. that way if u talk to each other in the ooc chat ppl might jump in add things etc and it's easier to like .. throw yourself into the ooc part of the rp too if that makes sense. it's helped me a lot tbh !! esp w the social anxiety part bc ur already at ease with ur friend. or if u see someone reacting to stuff happening in the rp .. just join in with a few comments here n there ! getting it started can be tough but once you're doing it it makes the whole rp experience sm better <3 & you'll probably make new friends you can talk to in other groups !! - o

i think i’m getting better at owning my evil eye in some aspects 🧿

genuinely wishing healing and growth to the people that hurt me in the past. the hater there is fading as i invest more in myself i just dc

the jealously in my present however still go CRAZY, at least i can name it as that tho without my brain short circuiting into cognitive dissonance 🥲 i allow myself to feel it bc it’s a valid as any other feeling but do what i can to not project it.

the part that still makes me a bit hot is that i put all this extensive effort into not taking this out on the source and showing her kindness and i simply don’t receive it back. so yeah getting better but not feeling great ❤️‍🩹 let’s get into it:

this girl in particular infuriates me for a multitude of reasons. in fact her presence actually contributed to my breakup, i felt she snaked her way into this circle, took my job, and was being treated far better than i ever was in essentially the same position by my ex and said circle. this created a lot of extra tension in an already sinking relationship and i couldn’t do it, the whole situation just added insult to injury. it’s a bit messy when ur love life, social life, and job are so enmeshed. and i feel like it’s not even a learning curve for them at least not fully it was me being compromising and taken advantage of. some things that rubbed me wrong are her character yes but others make me feel like it’s just my own anger and projection of insecurities. this is something i’ve been aware of and worked on for awhile but the creative field just breeds competition, even if i don’t want it that doesn’t means other ppl aren’t constantly pitting me against fellow creatives so i have to be wary regardless and that paranoid seeps into me, man. i tell myself that she’s just a person and i could have easily done the same stuff she does when i was in a different head space, even just a couple years ago. admittedly i almost did on a few occasions. i made selfish choices bc of my own lack of self worth before and learned that at a younger age - it makes me resentful to see ppl still act carelessly and selfishly at big ages and nobody bats an eye. it feels like she’s rewarded in the exact spot i was disempowered. it’s uncomfortable at best, mostly triggering. i know a part of me wants what she has. i know i resent the treatment i perceive from the outside that she is given by her bf bc it so closely mirrors my life except my ex bf was withholding and unwilling and honestly downright stingy both in love and the work circle. while i don’t envy or agree with her relationship, how it began, or any of that it does make me resentful to see someone given the treatment i knew i deserved and fought for and was basically gaslit over. esp by someone who is the like the twin of my ex, essentially the same person, same exact job, same exact context. it’s just the slap in the face to see that yeah someone can do these things for u and not make u feel crazy for wanting them, he just wouldn’t. it’s not even alot to ask and i went thru hell in silence over it. none of these other parties are aware of my feelings, i don’t know that they’d care but it’s also not even productive to share. it’s just weighing heavy on me since July. i’ve only expressed and talked these feelings over with the ex recently (we still work together sometimes) and even he said that’s a valid way to feel. i deserve more and we both seem to know it. though acknowledging it doesn’t change much even now. i truly really was and still am asking for the bare minimum and it’s “hard to see someone living your dream” 🤪 which is dramatic and not at all the proper way to sum it up but it’ll have to do.

Extreme Meatpunks forever is so SO good omg. It's a VN/mech brawler where u be gay and fight fascists!!! Trans and nonbiney ppl are out here being badass af. The game has cws/tws built into the game ( which i love sm ) Also there's a ttrpg on Kickstarter RIGHT NOW!!

Another game with nonbinary characters is an rpg called Ikenfell! It was one of my favorite games to play last year and the music and just everything? Honestly so good I'm def replaying it this year. It also has tons of good accessibility features!

ok but i wanna geek abt ikenfell just a smidge more U DON'T UNDERSTAND 3 OF THE PLAYABLE CHARACTERS ARE NONBINARY <333 The strongest playable character also uses ze/zir pronouns and I think that's pretty epic

Another game studio I love is @pillowfightio !!! They worked on Later Alligator, We Know the Devil, and Heaven Will Be Mine. I highly recc all of them but esp. Later Alligator cuz like just look at Joanie. They're so cool.

In the game Everhood gender doesn't exist <3 Literally multiple characters are referred to with they/them pronouns and the gameplay is very enjoyable

CW LOTS of flashing lights and I feel like there should maybe be more cws but I'm not sure what else to add :l I guess a warning is that Everhood gets into more serious stuff and I'll be honest when the game first came out I had to put it down for several days b/c I just wasn't ready for a lot of that stuff, but I honestly liked the game a lot!

I was debating on adding this bc while I love this game there's some issues. So Gnosia is like werewolf ( or among us if you will ) but more narrative focused with time loops etc. There's two wonderful nonbinary characters and you can be nonbinary HOWEVER ( minor gnosia spoilers. skip past if you want to avoid it) . . . For some reason finding out the AGAB of one of the characters is mandatory and I fucking hate that. It's so unnecessary esp for the world building that's been done. Also tws for the game: sexual abuse / assault, gore ( in only one scene ) (spoilers end) but yeah I still added it because the characters are so neat and strong for the type of game it is and without that bit I wouldn’t feel so :/ abt recommending it. It’s pretty fun ngl

Wandersong!!! The main character is nonbiney and I love them <33 It's such a lovely little musical adventure with such a nice narrative and!! Some of the devs just released Chicory ( which I haven't gotten to play yet ;v; ) but check that out too!!

Bravery Network Online is super fun!! It's a turn based rpg that feels really good and has two characters that use they/them pronouns ( Fel and Reed ) the character designs are sooo good and the game is currently in early access!

I never thought I'd see a claymation point and click musical featuring a nonbinary detective but Dominique Pamplemousse is just that Need I say more?

A personal fav I think about every now and then is Dad fighter 30XX!! Like who doesn't wanna beat up their friend's shitty dad in the parking lot of a dennys?? Also the win music is my FAV

The best thing would be how they can both be themselves- there's no need for fakeness here, nothing that's not real. nights at home together in sweatpants can be the best nights- both side by side in bed, reading, and you love them even more

intp would bring the softness a lot, and when they're tired its unbounded. they always reach out, hand encapsulated in the long sleeve of an oversized hoodie, and intj can't ever help but take it, melting at the warmth of sleepy intp

But, let's get it straight- that the burning powers of both intj and intp would be epic? they'd be so god damn in love and still the insults would flow so easy- (intj: this is so stupid intp: *immediately, without missing a beat* you're so stupid) heck, it'd be better after they started dating, each saying they have terrible taste in people and always end up dating idiots

This ease is present in conversation. Dialogue flits back and forth at seemingly unintelligible speeds, they catch the other's thought and throw another one back so quick that if you blink you miss- travelling at the speed of light rather than sound. it's the Ne meeting Ni- and nothing has ever been quite as satisfying

intp's Ne let's intj expand. they bring new ideas from the furtherst reaches of the universe, and it seems to expand intj's world. impromptu movie nights, car rides- crazy theoretical ideas about life itself; the expansion is limitless

intj brings intp back in. intj takes ideas and dives into it, Ni diving endlessly into the depths. that focus, that mind like the sharpest of blades- intp sees it so clearly sometimes and is entranced- and thinks the world must be intj's oyster with such a mind

their thinking styles fit together perfectly- it feels like they could take on the world. there could never be a better duo than intp and intj.... if they would actually finally just get out of their house and commit to that grand theft they have a l l planned o u t

idk how many people would even want to see this BUT i wanna yell about Leela and Brax so here's a list of all their scenes togethr/scenes pertainng to them that i can recall (pLEASE add on if i missed anything/ you have any additional thoughts!! i could talk about these two all day!)

right off the bat in Weapon of Choice when Leela is on the outskirts of the Citadel and Brax goes to bring her back (which is interesting in and of itself, bc usually i would imagine a chancellery guard would go do that so what made Brax decide to instead??), Leela kinda goes off at him bc she's hurting and instead of trying to actually explain what's going on Brax doesn't even try to argue he just says "we need you" which is great bc Leela has that instinctive desire to be needed and to help people and he's speaking right to that -- also as far as we know, this is Leela and Brax's first actual meeting in canon? it's implied that they know of each other, which makes sense, but it doesn't seem like they've ever directly interacted before: Brax seems almost slightly uncertain, and Leela is combative, but when he's gentle with her she's actually quite receptive

the literal next scene after that, where the OT4 is all in one room for the first time (they still kinda hate each other at this point but still !!!). Narvin explaining Gryben and being a real jerk about it and Leela (understandibly!) questions if Gryben is a prison world, and Brax (who to this point has been mostly quiet as Narvin and Romana brief Leela) jumps in to both clarify Narvin's previous xenophobic statements while also maintaining the inherent questionable/negative connotations

(btw it's actually pretty important to note that Romana self-edits herself a lot when talking to Leela, especially in the earlier seasons; you can actually hear her revising the things she says to put it in terms that she thinks Leela will better understand. and i mean she does it out of genuine consideration for her friend associate but it often comes across as varying levels of patronizing. Narvin also obviously "dumbs things down" when dealing with Leela early on, but like... Brax never does that on any level. the only difference i can tell in how he addresses Leela vs how he talks to anybody else is that he seems much more kind with her than almost anyone else???)

their conversation about the Matrix in The Inquiry: this is REALLY important (and if you've ever talked to me on ao3 i've probably gone off to you about it lol) because it's layered. they're talking about the Matrix but they're also not because in answering Leela's question Brax is making a very thinly veiled allegory (which he outright states a minute later) to Time Lord society/politicians/most importantly HIMSELF -- he's actually strangely open about his morals/beliefs in this scene and i'm living for it tbh -- and i find it very interesting that even though he does directly explain what he means ("how do you know all this?" / "because i am a politician.") he also leaves it for Leela to work out the implications. like it's a very nuanced conversation bc there's double meaning in it and most people on Gallifrey seem to think that Leela is tone-deaf and can't pick up on that stuff (even Romana sometimes oversimplifies things to her) but Brax totally just lets her take from it what she will bc he believes her intelligent enough to understand. he doesn't think her any lesser because she's human.

ALSO on a secondary note to the above: the fact that Leela has a question/needed clarification (sorry, haven't listened to this in a while i forget how it actually happened) and actively sought out Brax to talk to about it?? like she knows Romana better she could have gone to her but i feel like Leela kinda imprinted on Brax and someone she can go to for help if she needs it; maybe it's partly bc she knows he's under marginally less pressure than Romana is but also the truth of the matter is that Brax was the most genuinely helpful person to her in the previous stories and that probably means a lot to her (esp. bc he acts like the essence of everything she hates about Gallifrey but he doesn't treat her the way she would expect from that). btw this topic is gonna come up again in a hot minute

that part where Brax gives her that information that might help her re: the Andred thing, even though he really probably shouldn't have done that -- it kinda makes me think about what he must have been like with Theta tbh???

actually this is mostly my own conjecture but there's some neat stuff in Spirit bc during the *waves hand vaguely* bodyswap dream sequence thing, Romana is very "!!!! Brax can help us !!!" which is tecnically Leela brain talking, so like there's the implications of the stuff i've said above about Leela having this idea of Brax where she knows he's someone she can go to for help

Leela sounding really sad/distracted when she talks about how Brax isn't there YES i'm grasping at straws but a lot of this relationship really is conveyed through the voice acting bc of how little direct focus there is on the characters. there's actually several scenes in Mindbomb where she mentions him and she outright says that she misses him during her discussion with Matthias

that implied scene with them in Mindbomb!! i have a Lot of thoughts about that!!! it's all conjecture and fanfic fodder!!! but the reason i mention this is because it seems pretty meta that out of the whole Gally Gang, it's Leela who first sees Brax when he comes back to Gallifrey and in turn she's the first person (besides Matthias, i guess) that he sees upon his return?? idk i just feel like that's somehow a meaningful detail??? also her reaction of utter shock after spending the entire episode missing him and how worked up she is when she tries to tell Romana, like I desperately need to know what happened in this missing scene MR RICHARDS PLEASE TELL ME WHAT HAPPENED

Leela insisting on going with Brax when Pandora starts hurting him and their whole conversation there is just. so good. like they're both just so soft and then when Darkel comes in Leela instantly goes into protective mode. like they just have such an open relationship bc Brax doesn't even try to be all pretentious with her, like he doesn't even try to keep up any facades when he's with her he's just very genuine and it really says a lot about both of them -- Leela is so good at seeing people, like getting down to the core of who people are and what makes them them (which is why she's good for Romana, btw, bc Romana has a lot of identity issues) and Brax is so tangled up in who he presents himself as that he barely knows who he actually is anymore but Leela can see that and she makes it so he can truly be himself and he doesn't have to hide. also she's so gentle with him when they talk about Pandora, she's very caring and empathetic and wants to make sure he's okay and i am WEAK

it's been a hot while since i listened to Panacea but I think i remember Brax being really soft with Leela when he first brings the gang to the Axis, like just sounding really glad to see her

ok other than the fact that Brax is lowkey relatable in Reborn (daydreaming fanfic about yourself/people you know? simping for Mary Tamm Romana? yeah mood, my man) there's that scene where they're first appraoching the Citadel on the alt!Gallifrey and it seems like none of them, and Brax specifically, have seen it from the outside in a good long while bc he's very in awe and he tells Leela that he wishes she could see it and he sounds sO hEcKiNg sOFT oh my word-

and once again with Leela thinking of Brax as someone she trusts for help: in Dissassembled when everything is going to crap she straight-up says that she wants to go find Brax bc he'll know what to do/be able to help

at the beginning of Annihilation when Romana is depressed and questioning if Brax truly was her friend and Leela INSTANTLY, NO HESITATION assures her that he was; i lost where i had her exact lines written down but she actually kinda goes off to make sure Romana gets the point

literally forcing myself to talk about this bc it makes my brain stall out but like,,, the Brax Hound in Annihilation,,, Leela being like "goodbye, Braxiatel... again" she sounds so sad and like UGH i always kinda forget how sad it actually is for them to lose Brax in Dissassembled bc like, it was so sudden and they didn't get to say goodbye and Leela is always losing people and i have many many feels about this scene and how all that emotion is made very clear in how they each respond to the Hound (might make a separate post abt this later if anyone is interested ::eyes::)

Enemy Lines is utter bullcrap about these two and I will never stop being salty about how they not only sidelined the very good, very subtle friendship they had in s1-4, but they??? made Leela acutally not trust Brax??? when literally this entire time she's been the one person who probably genuinely trusts him the most?? what the heck, David

I haven't heard TW3 or 4 yet but i'm assuming there's nothing worthwhile in those with regards to this duo (correct me if i'm wrong tho lol, i would love to be mistaken in this assumption)

TL;DR Leela and Brax mututally imprinted on each other and have probably the most open and healthy relationship within the OT4 and it is an absolute CRIME that nobody besides Gary Russell and Justin Richards cared enough to actually build on it in canon
