Saying this as an autistic poc but it always trips me up when white people try to autism their way out of racism towards hip hop and rap too. Like a lot of the supposed sounds that trigger sensory issues for white autistics who do this are in sooo many genres too; main thing being "I dont like repetitive beats and sounds" and yet literally almost every fucking song on earth has mostly beat and bass repetition through a majority of its structure as a core for key melodies to play on (and mind you those key melodies ALSO repeat). Like hip hop/rap is not unique in that respect. Perhaps ponder on that for more than a minute.
#like theres lil bits in all kinds of sounds that fuck me up but i dont throw out the entire fucking genre#i just go oh this song isnt for me rn and I can even go back to them with much issue down the line#and mind you im a person with sensory issues AND synesthesia#so not only can sound mess with me but so can the over stimulation of visual components in a song#buts its never made me hate or dismiss any genre#and yes i just saw someone write an entire essay like this in those same notes soskdkkdkd

Also Cherri Bomb is being kinda toxic friend to Angel n i dont like that.
ALSO ANGEL STOOD UP AGAINST VAL!! HELL YEAH, SLAY SPIDERBOI!!! IM LITERALLY NOT SCARED OF WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO HIM WHEN HE WILL GO BACK TO HIS JOB!! IM NOT SCARED AT ALL!!!!
Ok this last song WAS SO EPIC!! ESPECIALLY WHEN CHARLIE N EMILY DID UNO REVERSE ON ADAMS SONG FROM EP 1!!
AND THAT PART WHEN ADAM REVEALED THAT VAGGIE IS AN ANGEL WAS SO EPIC TOO I LITERALLY GOT CHILS
and Charlies reaction to that was actually really heartbreaking
And everything ended up with Adam winning. I really hope that justice will overtake in this whole situation and Charlies plan will work. And im really interested to see Charlie n Vaggies relationships after that reveal. I honestly think that Charlie will forgive her, but its still really interesting.

Inner Child - yurame (miku) : this ones my current favorite. i love the spaceyness going on & i love how the chorus sounds with the harmonies & the lyrics are so good too.
kaf-eine - hiiragi magnetite (kafu) : kafu kafu kafu kafu!!!! this is so fucking cute this is the best thing to come out of their neta posting i love this i love sena yuta's art too its all just so good
kaihou seimei - zeeka (vflower) : this song goes hard. some of the lyrics are a little weird to me but thats really just a zeeka thing the whole things really solid. (zeeka has en translation in the video btw! so u all can enjoy in full) very cool flower song highly recommend
phenomenon - szri (gekiyaku utau + ß) : szri's music always goes hard. quick paced & heavy. love the growly gekiyaku & the rap parts. clearly szri's sound but its distinct from their other songs i think tho some parts remind me of quiet & anaphylaxis. is it related idk im not looking into it rn
kowaremono - kyiku (rime & kazehiki utau) : holy shit. hi i love this. the lyrics kinda hurt & it sounds so dramatic. also oh my god the tuning on rime i could cry. working with her to make her sound both emotional & pretty🥺🥺 this isnt a duo i wouldve thought of but it works. this is so good [puts it directly in ur hands and walks away]
Predation - logico (haru) : yeah this is something i can easily loop for days. its so good. love the little bits of squeakiness on haru it has charm to me. goes hard. haru fans come get ur food
Shell - tokino yamma (rime) : i wasnt sold on this at first but listening more i feel like it works with rime well enough. sounds more emotional than like shes actually struggling it gets a pass from me. love the sound in the chorus. idk this is going to grow on me even more i think with the combination of the lyrics & sound

Time Limit - sigma (kafu, miku, & vflower) : idk how to describe this one its more mellow than other things ive put here but its so far from the really tranquil stuff. very good

going to pointlessly ramble about the grammys just cause im annoyed and bored at work:
in no way is anti hero a song worthy of an award as stupid as the institution giving it might be. did a lot for fandom edits but stop giving that woman grammys just cause shes popular oh my god. that album sucked
ill keep these next two complaints separate. guts was fine but not good enough for album of the year are we kidding. i knew it was gonna happen and got preemptively a little bit mad. sorry olivia and her fans i love u girl but stop giving teenagers grammys it's really going to their heads. im tired. nowhere to be seen: the rise and fall of a midwest princess or javelin. ok. guts was better than harrys house as an album nominee by a decent amount... but not enough. come on.
boygenius being on there but not muna or chappell or paramore. once again. boring. sorry i still havent listened to the whole record but it's so obvious theyre getting up there because they had a lot of popularity skyrocketing this year and theyre the whitest/most vague and performative about their queerness. i am not saying the artists themselves and the way they behave is performative btw im just saying like. chappell has local drag queens at every tour date. muna brings out a variety of artists for their openers and brought a trans choir to one of their days at. wait was that in la. well regardless it was recent. im just saying they dont engage with the broader queer community as much like hurrah yay tits out but. be serious. they are not the best performers or lyricists.

ioaefjerjgioajo ill try my best aiofjoerjgiojao i was so annoying to my friends over my first impressions over all the songs so im gonna try my best to summarize my thoughts on these songs
joonie said this entire album was a recollection of everything hes done in his 20s aka the transformative years of his life and you can ABSOLUTELY hear the member influences (at first i heard the sope influences bc they have the biggest body of work so their style is most distinct but upon relistens its really a love album to his younger self (you can really tell its an evolution from rm and mono) and his members. ALSO i love how he modulates and changes his style and timbre to fit the style and quirks of his featuring artist? hes so fucking cool????? oh my GOD?????? anyways heres the impressions by song:

BRING IN THE FUNK HELLS YEA VHOPE IS VIBING SO HARD RN I JUST KNOW IT now the empty space and reverb bassline is given some direction and happiness here. still life is a form of art and thus begins rm's first piece of art here in his lil art collection and joon accepting that things will come as they are and ppl will try to reduce him down to one thing, but hes still a fully realized human moving forwards like us all

ok this bassline and instrumental SCREAMS yoongi to me. the lil kick between verses the beats w the bassline the high melody line the bridge that sick transition from verse to chorus like no wonder tablo is here. i know yoongi draws lots of inspiration from epik high so it makes sense. sonically speaking this song takes the funky sounds of the previous track and condenses it and brings a hint of melancholy just in time for our next track. speaking on less fun notes, tablo is really the only other person who survived such vicious tonguelashing and emerged more powerful and a better person and im just glad joonie has someone to look up to.

oh our queen of folk here to deliver some nice kindie chill vibes thank you i need it for our coming song mwah. here we slowly start to hear the funky bright poppy merge to a chill sound this song was for tae i just know it!!! sonically theres some fun stuff going on but it feels like a cooldown piece for the rest of the album. joonie really said i can pull off ALLLLLLLL genres.

the rnb influences the syncopation the pop beats i bet jk is having the time of his life singing to the chorus. the guitar and the beat and the piano makes me an immediate fan. also they modulated the message beep to be in the same key??? as the song?????? AND it gives us a diving board into the electronica of the next song and then the sound expands when joonie comes in???? i love it.

My first kpop group was Exo I remember Watching Monster and looking at Baekyun and being like who is this man and why is he so pretty!! I don’t even know what the weather is like in cali lol but I guess your cold is different from my cold. it’s like 35° here and I just went to the gym in a hoodie and a winter vest. we’re actually about to get some snow I think….grrrr😠 and yeh driving in it sucks. I’ve driven in snow storms so bad that you have to like sit up and drive in silence the whole way because you have to lock in.
since im going into the automotive industry, my mom has big hopes for me to work in Japan someday. even if its just temporary like a year or so. Im hoping after I graduate college i can travel there for fun and “plant the seeds.” BUT!! I have to learn some of the language first. im too sporadic with it and really need to buckle down.

it is midnight and that means its saturday so i am here for my matchup 🤭 in all honesty i have been wanting to request one from u for so long bc i love the way u write your matchups loll, but ANYWAYS! could i pls get a haikyuu matchup? i go by she/her, im straight nd i’d like a romantic matchup 🫡 so im like 5’2 i think, dyed black hair (goes a bit past my shoulders and my natural color is brown), brown eyes, and i have a lot of freckles on my face. i have my septum and both sides of my nose pierced along with a few ear piercings.im an ambivert so how i act definitely depends on the environment im in but with the right people im very outgoing (very chatty lol). but my social battery also gets drained v fast so after big social gatherings i need some time to recover (usually recovering = taking a long nap). i get really snappy if i my social battery is drained so the whole recovery thing is v important lmao. i am also a very sleepy person, my friends like to joke that im chronically tired lmfao, i take naps almost every day and if im in a car, sitting down in class or doing something like that i probably will fall asleep. i cannot control it T_T i also trip, run into things, drop things, etc. all the time. my house could be dead silent and then out of nowhere u just hear a crash and “what the fuck” yea thats me sorry 🤫🤫 i also like to tease ppl a lot, not in a flirty way more like in a provoking way (i cant flirt i have 0 rizz). moving on!! some things i look for in a relationship r someone who can be patient with me and dont mind reassuring (if they do it without me asking its 100x better). i love when show theyre thinking abt me through little things like “oh i was at the store and i saw your fav candy so i picked it up” or “i saw your favorite flowers on my walk home and thought of you” id cry. also someone who isnt afraid to show they care (not in a sense of like pda but moreso they arent too prideful to do dumb stuff like dance with u at 2 am in the kitchen). anyways my type! they dont have to be like 7ft tall but maybe 5’9 or 5’10 +. i like funny guys but not funny at the expense of others. i also really like guys that are able to actually respect me as a person. i pride myself on being really smart and mature (when i need to be lol) and i genuinely would not be able to stand someone that saw me as any less than that. oh ye ;o; !! wwell listen to Lost Wisdom part 1 then! its so good, one of my favourites.. also first mount eerie thing i listened to years ago. lost wisdom, what? and voice in headphones are my favourites.. also check out the version of lost wisdom on the wind's poem album , its good too. the one with julie doiron is my fave though. and then, i say this with a big warning, big content warning for directly confronting death and mourning in some cases written only days after, but listen to A Crow Looked At Me if you can. i cant rly say anything to describe how it made me feel apart from it felt like my chest being torn open .. also soria moria is a masterpiece, one of my favourite songs of all time :' '') though i wish it didnt have to exist, like wish genevieve castrée was still around instead of course. she's one of my favourite illustrators ever. . . but ye, after A Crow.. then there's Now Only , which is sorta a sequel to crow.. i love it a lot too. then after those idk, check out different things (which is what im still doing rn), even phil elverums others work as The microphones. some albums are much louder, much noisier than others.. ones like Dawn are very soft for the most part (this ones rly nice and iirc was written in a little remote cabin in norway, so thats sorta the vibes), and ones like wind's poem are louder, some are more electronic. . im going to listen to White Stag in full soon, i've heard one song from it and it needs to be listened to in order (a lot of th tracks in the albums kinda do, theres stories in them and sequels) , also im gonna listen to more of No Flashlight, Pre-Human Ideas, Clear Moon and etc etc etc. .. also The Glow part II by the microphones. . also been listening to geneviève castrée's music as ô paon, i like it lots too :'''' )
i hope you enjoy(?) or find something in his work. . truly one of my favourites of all time.. his lyricism is so amazing, so touching and raw and quiet in a way that isnt always soft, the way he strums and plays guitar and uses distortion and crackling textured sounds too is so good.. i love this music so much n so gently :’-o

Hi! I'm a newer fan, immediately was sucked in by Seunghyun(his eyes!) and have been learning all I can about him and Big Bang! I don't want this to come off as rude, but I found your blog, and as someone who has been a fan a lot longer than me, can I just ask if he's always been this... way? Haha I really want to say it right.. just that the vibe I got from him was that he was more of an artist, but since following him I've just seen him posting about his wine? It just sort of goes against the image I was getting of him... Also does he really just have the two solos?? That makes me sad :( Doom Dada was a masterpiece, I wish there was more(but soon?!). Anyway, thank you if you read all this!
haha i love this. i love that i have to “explain” seunghyun to someone. bc i cannot lmaoo. he truly is a weirdo. and he isnt even that weird rn! we have gone through periods where he posts about horses, llamas, pigs buttholes, memes, edits, art, selfies etc. sometimes dozens at the time. u truly cannot explain that shit to someone lol. sometimes he doesnt post anything for a while and then suddenly he has a new obsession or an inside joke or something inspires him or sometimes he’s just trolling. i personally find it endearing and entertaining but can be annoying at times for sure. the fact that he posts wine lately doesnt go against his image tho. he is a huge wine nerd and him having his own label now only explains all the wine updates.
about the solos tho. yes he has only 2 MVs i think. but he has more solo songs! u just gotta dig deeper. act like nothing’s wrong, of all days, hi haruka, oh mom… these i can remember off the top of my head. also there are songs and covers by him pre-debut under the name of tempo. happy discovering! wish i was a new fan and fall in love with his music again. but hey! new things coming soon :) woooo
