Quick post!

Apologies for the absence, I see all the asks I’ve gotten! Got a little sick again and been super busy with my job (it always gets very busy during holidays, and it’s currently spring break!!) and just stressful life stuff in general, so I haven’t been around much.

But I see them!! Lots of PMD AU stuff and PLA asks in general. Can’t wait to get to them! ^^

BUT SOME REALLY GREAT NEWS! After dealing with an unusable hand for so long, I finally found the problem and got it fixed, and I can do art again!! Expect more art around here soon, and asks with art again!! ^^

#that’s also why I haven’t been around too much in a bit I was working on getting that fixed as soon as I found the problem #I mentioned putting out a merch interest poll a bit back #I’ve had it put together for a bit but it was all comprised of whatever sketches I had done before I had to stop drawing #I’ve been working on them again in between commission work now!!#so I’m gonna postpone the poll a bit in order to finish up the rest of the artwork #very excited!!

Apparently Ojamajo Doremi had a light novel sequel called Doremi 16 and it's going to be animated and that unlocked some feelings I've been having about Toei's IPs lately:

#this is in regards to Amazon going after fan-made Hazbin merch on Etsy #because there really are issues on both sides here #one: if Spindelhorse/BentoBox/Amazon had finalized the merch thing BEFORE the series finished airing #they would have been making BANK because people are CLAMMORING to buy official merch that isn't the shitty Amazon shirts #and popsockets #like let's not even mention the fact that anyone who bought the pre-show package is STILL WAITING ON THEIR PLAYBILLS #but for the fan-merch makers... I feel like some people got too comfortable being able to list merch verbatim #when anyone who makes fan-merch of things like Pokemon/Nintendo IPs/etc #will tell you that 'hey if you want to survive you better break out that thesaurus and start getting creative with your labeling'#don't even get me started on the mishandling of the trading cards...

HI HELLO!! so sorry for the late response but update: yes I am! I've just been extremely slow at it bcs of irl school + comms + imtooscaredtoapproachthemanufacturersihavecripplinganxiety bUT!! I FINALLY BRAVED MYSELF AND I DID IT!!!! I had a talk and I think I got the gist on how to go about from here so I'm getting to it!!

I'm currently thinking of making a few more merchs (iirc someone wanted a full-body standee so I'm here to serve 🫡‼️) though it'll be slow...

and I've revamped the design of my old charms, though I have leftovers from the previous batch that I'm planning to sell as grade-B charms! (like, 5-7 ish? it'd be nice if they can find a home...🥹)

(I'll reprint the miniwoof zine + additional pages and—no promises yet—a small tiny Vashwood compilation zine of my previous artworks, comics (revamped), and some extra stuff!)
