Randomly thinking about grrm’s deconstruction of knighthood in asoiaf and how ironic it is that the Night’s Watch - an organization known to be half full of murderers, rapists, thieves, and all sorts of criminals - is essentially in charge of defending all of humanity when shit hits the fan. Like westeros just scrambled ‘the lowest of the low’ together into a penal colony in the far north and is totally fine depending on them for their survival; though tbf, i guess part of it has to do with expecting these societal ‘others’ to give their not so valuable lives for the good of the realm, who really cares if they live or die because they’re out of sight and out of mind. And it’s kinda funny too when we factor in the kingsguard because it’s a far more respected institution than the NW presently, but it too has its fair share of monsters. Quite a few men of the kingsguard have been morally bankrupt individuals, and we even see how the men of the KG sometimes forget other people they should be responsible for because their one priority is the king (we see what happens when you put the people of the realm first and then are ostracized by it a la Jaime tho there’s more to it). Missing the forest for the tree is something both institutions share, making them quite similar. So it’s interesting how grrm flips the fantasy classic of the black knight vs the white knight. The black knight is often anti-heroic, if not straight up villainous, and is often made to be diametrically opposed to the valiant and ever good white knight. But asoiaf has white and black knights both be shown of great virtue and great vice. The white knights in this story really are no better than the black knights. I’d love to see how these two entities could intersect, i.e., what happens when a white knight eventually changes his cloak for a black one (*cough* Jaime *cough*) and how that falls into grrm’s deconstruction of the romance of chivalry, the extent of personal heroism, and perceived knightly virtue. Welp I don’t even know what point I’m trying to make anymore, I just wanted to talk about the KG and the NW because they’re really cool.

Some months ago when I was on the plane I decided to make a magical girl version of my oc Emmery. No real reason I just have been obsessed with the concept as of late, So I made more of them!
She is not a real magical girl -So is kinda like an AU thing???- nor she enjoys it as much (she doesn't like to stand out) but is fun to me!

Dc x dp idea 83
The two are different dimensions.
Danny was either kidnapped or displaced from dc. Whether by Jack accidentally dimensional traveling and grabbing baby Danny or by ghost interference.
He could be a lost son of a hero/villain or just son of a rando civilian from dc.
The infinite realm is sentient in a way. It always merges with the king. Pariah Dark was an ancient tyrant one who when alive resided in the DP dimension. Hence why the natural portals all favored that dimension.
When Danny becomes king. The realm shifts.
The Fenton portal made with science remains stable. Natural ones all but stop in DP. Even the infinite map will now take to to the alternate dimension.
Danny and co. Have no clue how or why this is happening
Wulf can only make portals into dp with tethers. People specifically. He can come to Danny, sam and tucker as they allowed themselves as tethers. By forming a bond of sorts with the entity.
When Danny learns to make portals he as well needs these tethers.
When jack and Maddie learn the truth they don’t immediately act. The observe and plan. Even agreeing to be these tethers.
Danny has been oh so happy they accepted him.
The sole purpose to learn to break the bonds. Once they figure it out. They short and shove Danny through the portal and turn it off.
As much as they’d love to tear him apart. He looked too much like there son. Phantom would use that against them. Turn Danny’s poor friends against the two. They have to figure out how to end the ghost brainwashing.
It’s unfortunate jazz sam and tucker all are under the spell.
Now on the dc side of things.
The JLD were panicking in the beginning. Natural portals from the infinite realm suddenly became much more frequent. They had to learn and adapt.
They’ve had actual attacks from these beings now. John had to talk to his contacts. Magic worked on them as well as apparently technology. The contacts wouldn’t tell them what technology however.
And apparently lucky them. The new king of this hell dimension was born in there own dimension.
Then the yeti and age defying powerful entities said that they would be expecting a visit from the king soon.
It was during one of the Wayne’s family dinners a green portal opened. Shooting the white haired green eyed individual into the table. Only for him to look up at cass in confusion stating she wasn’t sam.
He then fell unconscious and turned into prime adoption bait.

What is the life series? What is it all about, really?
Ask the avian, the first victor, in a comfy red sweater and wings sprouting from his back, and he'll say with a forced shrug, as he leans against a tree, it's about life. Bonding, alliances made and alliances torn, enemies made and battles won. It’s all rather poetic, and rather fun to watch.
The way he says the last word causes the camera of the mind to stumble back, and hastily zoom in on another figure in blue. Crystals are swirling around his head, oh so shiny, as he says with quiet defiance in his eyes, it’s a game. Entertainment, for those who want it, and torture, for those in it. Uncertain and unpredictable like all games. The best bet is to cling onto whoever you know and hope you will survive.
A shift yet again, onto another winner, strolling around. Her hoodie is blue but flickers red every once in a while, like lightning. Her wings rustle as she says with a cynical chuckle, it’s the world. Your fate is shaped and you’re always, always inevitably linked to it somehow. The choices are made; you just follow them. But maybe others will carve a different path.
Ask the survivor, in a green shirt and blondish hair. He’s sitting at the seaside, and he says as a new wave converges with the shore, it’s a death match. And don’t you forget it, because in the end it’s all about who survives, and anyone who clings onto other ideals is foolish and dead. There’s no need to kill time when you can simply kill.

Okay so we all probably have heard or read the idea of borrowers playing video games right? Where maybe the bean fell asleep while the game was running and the curious borrower wandered up and saved their game or messed something up in it or even just played it for a bit. Imagine waking up sitting in your gaming chair and the screen in front of you flickers as if someone is playing. You look on your lap and your see this tiny person playing a game, and they are entranced by it. They are so wrapped up in the game that they don’t notice that you’ve woken up. Maybe you watch them a bit to see how well they are doing, maybe when it seems they are having trouble with a puzzle, enemy, or something; you pipe up on how they could defeat it. This probably would spook them and they’d freeze looking back at you, maybe apologizing about playing your game without your permission and such. Perhaps you convince them that it’s fine and, in fact, they can keep playing the game. You both just chill and you watch as they play. Maybe a bond is formed and you two switch whose actually playing the game and whose watching. Now there’s a little gaming buddy who might be a little bit of a backseat gamer, once you two are comfortable with each other.
Or imagine this. You wake up one night to hear sounds on your tv, your old console was plugged in but you swear you turned it off. You go towards your TV and see it’s playing a game, and that there’s two people playing it. You don’t see anyone until you squint towards the floor where the controllers are plugged in. They’re on the floor but something else is on them. There’s a group of borrowers playing the game. Maybe there’s four in total with two on each controller and they’re all playing together. You hear one team shouting at the other that they’re cheating, while the other shushes them and says they aren’t and that team 1 is just bad at the game. Watching them reminds you of playing with friends but they have it a bit more challenging. On one controller, one borrower is moving the analog stick and the other is pressing the buttons. They’re awkwardly sitting on and by the controller in order to do so. Either way, it’s an entertaining thing to watch. Maybe eventually you join them and grab a controller, challenging them to a game. Perhaps since they might be a bit scared you say that if they can beat you in a game that they can keep playing whenever they want and if you win, well they’ll see. The borrowers accept the challenge and team up against you, and obviously you’re gonna either lose or purposely lose, cause why wouldn’t you want little gaming buddies? Or maybe you never reveal yourself but occasionally get new games for them to try and you simply watch from the shadows as they play, until one day they spot you or something and you have to explain that they’re fine and you aren’t mad at them for playing the games. In fact it’s entertaining and you’d be happy to join them or just let them play more.
Either way tinies playing games just seems nice
