Magical girl au time! The ‘rings’ prompt made me think of the transformation rings first and foremost, and I decided to run with that. I’m a fan of the genre and I really enjoy designing fits hehe(costume sketch below cut)

Hey, here's an unfinished group design of another fanseries:

Kitai no Pop Precure / Whimsical Pop Pretty Cure

The themes are imagination, childhood, bubbles, dreams. Was to lazy to do proper lineart and color but hopefully in the future. Also a lot of details are missing like their magical bubble wand, overall needs refining.

Recently have been getting by in these trying times by coming up with Magical Girl designs based off my favorite Magic the Gathering characters.

Anyway, I'm using the Randy Vargas design for evil to bring you Magical Girl Toshiro Umezawa. Important key points about her are her slouch, her eye bags, and the ":3". Her magical power is stealing your wallet without you ever fucking noticing.

You know how in magical girl anime, at some point the girls will receive a new look/more powerful form.

This is my girls second form. I've had vague designs for five of the girls but I've never really drawn their outfits before. I really like Layla's and Aly's outfits here. Lilly's is the weakest, she needs a redesign. I am going design the rest of the girls outfits, sooner than later. Fashion design or character design is always so fun for me.

When I started on this group I was super preoccupied about making sure she didn't resemble the other pinks too much, and was also concerned about how I could take the concept of "wind" and make a readable design based off of it- but I feel like what I ended up going with works.
