i love when a rina moment randomly pops in my head because i just feel so at peace, happy and content. we really won that against every off. and against the fans of two more popular ships that constantly invalidated rina and us. all we had was s2 delusions and tim’s vague words. trusting a showrunner is terrifying because 90% of the time they managed to mess up something and i can say rina is the first tv ship that didn’t disappoint me at all.

I actually can’t believe Yeong and Uk are really serving us the marriage of convenience, 2nd chance, Grumpy/sunshine, dark/light, amnesia, Disney’s Tangled, T-Swifts’s Love Story, fake pregnancy, star-crossed lovers trope. Like, all the top tier romance tropes goes to them.

I see some ppl are already speculating that the final episode of YR could maybe be a special extended episode and not to get anyone’s hopes up (me, lmao. I’m talking about me) but that wouldn’t be unprecedented. That’s exactly what they did for Sex Education.

Obviously it’s a different production, a different country etc.

It makes me nauseous thinking about the idea of 911 not following through with Buddie, not just because it’s the most deeply romantic best-friends-to-lovers build up I’ve ever witnessed, but because there is no way that these two clearly heterosexual actors could play a clueless bisexual man (Buck) and an in-denial-closeted gay man (Eddie), with such authenticity and emotion, so believably in love with each other, if they weren’t trying to make it obvious. Which means either their relationship has been the endgame plan this whole time, or they have chosen an act of violence against the hopes for representation the queer community has for these characters, with the ugliest baiting in the history of television

everyone has these thoughtful reasons and careful media analysis to make their point about why sylki will/won't "be endgame" and thus it's okay (or not) if they argue a bit first and i am slightly ashamed to admit that my entire thought process thus far has just been "well there's six episodes to fill, of course they'll drag the romance plot out as long as possible." :'(

i think jaimebrienne breaks my brain because they’re like. okay. in hindsight they’re my queerbait ship in spirit. they’re my destiel. they’re the ship i went as it was airing come on by all rights and logic they should be endgame. i’m literally just watching the show no meta no nothing they’re literally just in repressed love for real. and then they weren’t!!!!! but it wasn’t even homophobia!!!!! she was just not conventionally attractive and he was. that was the only difference. i am throwing my hands up in the air. what do you want from me. god forbid people have media literacy i guess.
