My Fallen Apple
Lucifer X Reader
Chapter 5
He seemed distant all day, and you didn't know why. “Hey, Lucifer, what's wrong? You don't seem like yourself.” He had been looking out a window at the city, it seemed more on fire than usual.

“Hm? Oh, nothing nothing, everything's fine!” He tried to smile at you, but it felt fake.

“Does it have to do with whatever that ‘extermination’ thing was last week? What even was that? And why couldn't I visit?”

“Wait, you… you don't know about the exterminations?” He was shocked. “The yearly massacre heaven conducts on Hell.”

“The what?!” You look shocked and horrified. “No, no one's ever said anything about that!”

“Oh fuck. So they just keep all the rest of you in the dark when Adam runs his little slaughter brigade every year?”

“Adam runs it?! Oh God, that makes so much sense. That fucking dickbag. I've got to tell everyone! They have to know what he's been doing!”

Lucifer suddenly grabs your shoulders, “whoa, whoa! Slow your roll there. That's not a good idea! You could get actually kicked out of heaven for telling anyone! Then… then you'd be stuck here with me. Forever.” His eyes filled with hurt, “I could never do that to you.”

You take his hands from your shoulders into yours, “What if I wanted to stay here with you?”
A blush spread across his face, “wha- Becca, I'm married, remember?”

“And she's been gone for seven years without a word! Is she really coming back? Besides, you need a friend you can rely on. Someone who's got your back no matter what.” You held his hands a little tighter. He sighed and squeezed back.

“I should push you away for your own good… while I still can. But… honestly I'm tired of being alone. So if you really want to stay as a friend , you can. I'll take responsibility for you and you can stay here in my palace.”

“Thank you. I'll just have to go back once more and get all my stuff. Next week, I'll move in, and our weekly hangouts can be daily.” You smile and he can't help but smile back,

“yeah, that sounds… that sounds nice.”
Suddenly, his phone rang and he pulled away, “augh, that ringtone.. sorry this one's important. Work stuff.” He looked at his phone contact and grimaced at it. “Hooo, okay… you can do this, just the biggest idiot you've ever met, and your eternal beloath-ed.” He took a deep breath and answered the call. “Adam. What? You literally just finished. What could you possibly- a fucking meeting? You can't just say what your ugly- HE HUNG UP ON ME?!! THAT BITCH!!” Suddenly Lucifer grew horns and a tail, a little fire lighting above his head. You squeak and jump back a bit. His devil form was out and… you know… the more you looked at it, the less scary and the more… attractive it actually was.

After he was done cursing the phone, he turned and looked at you, confused by your staring till he realized his horns were out. “Ah… uh, sorry. This happens when I get too angry.” He returned to his normal form. “I didn't scare you, did I? I promise, I'd never hurt you, I'm not that kinda guy.” He held his hands out in front of himself, pleading with you.

You shook off the shock and stepped closer, taking one of his hands. “No, no, I'm fine. I just… that form looks really nice.” You're blushing, you can feel it. And he sees it too.

“Oh! Oh. A heh… Well, thank you for thinking I look nice! That's a nice ego boost coming from someone as pretty as you.” He then realized he said that out loud! “I mean I um, hey excuse me a minute while i call my daughter!” He then ran off to hide from you in the palace.
You roll your eyes, well, at least he thinks you're pretty. That's a good first step. Probably the most important step will be getting him to accept Lilith's not coming back… but that would be a hard one. Ten thousand years they were together for… just taking 7 years apart for a break was a drop in the bucket for that long of a marriage.

Regardless, the next step was to move in and act naturally. Get him comfortable around you, enough to introduce you to his daughter. That was something you only do when fully committed to keeping someone in your life. Plus, maybe Charlie will help with the “get over lilith” campaign you were going to eventually need to run.
You decide to wander the palace and see if you could find where Lucifer had disappeared to.

It took an hour before you found him curled up in his bed.
“Lucifer? What's wrong?”
“I- I'm a bad father…” He was trying not to sob, tears in his eyes as his head peeked out from a burrito of blankets.

“Hey now, what makes you say that?” You walk over and sit on the edge of his bed.

“I called her and asked her to talk to Adam for me! I can't even take care of my own shit!” You sigh and lay next to him, pulling him into a tight hug. “Oh you silly burrito… there, there.” You pull the blankets back enough to free his hair and play with it. Eventually the waterworks stop and he starts to calm down, looking sleepy. You can't help but giggle a little, “Uh oh, is it nap time for hell's king? Come on, let's get you back up on the pillows at least.” You adjust him back up with ease and get him comfy before draping one of your own wings over him. He actually starts purring as his eyes close.

“Hm… you'd make a great mother.” He said sleepily, and your eyes tear up. You can't help it, and you keep playing with his hair.

“Thank you… I tried very hard in life.” His eyes open back up, and he looks at you in a moment of wonder and curiosity, but decides not to bring up something that might cause you more pain. You two just enjoy a peaceful moment in each others company till you both fall asleep.

Angels, demons, language, and culture: part 2
(Part 1, for those interested)
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." --John 1:1, King James Bible
A better theologian than I could perhaps write a meta in which the Starmaker is the Word. I'm not prepared to go that far, honestly. I am fully prepared to say that written words, in the GOverse, are very, very important -- but curiously neither angelic nor demonic. They're human.
I mean, watching s1 I noticed that there's not a whole lot of written words in Heaven, to the point that I was wondering whether angels are even literate. There's the Quartermaster's list (which now I'm wondering about again -- we don't see whether there are words on it; perhaps it's just pictures and maybe checkboxes?), and... and... um... surely there's more... there's got to be more, right? ... huh, go figure.
Word of Gaiman says that angels mostly don't read the Bible; it's not angelic, it's human, and as such rather déclassé. In s2, we do see Gabriel's name written across his file -- but inside it? Not forms, not written documents, but video. There's an Ursula K. LeGuin line -- I think from The Telling? or maybe Four Ways to Forgiveness -- about a society that's postliterate, having left the written word behind for video, and is for that reason extra gullible. Yeah, that line sure does remind me of Heaven.
No wonder Muriel doesn't get much respect from their colleagues or reporting line. If words aren't angelic, how can respect be due to a mere scrivener?
Jimbriel can read, though his grasp on the alphabet is a bit shaky. He can't really read, though -- just as angels can speak human language but not think human thoughts. Only someone who can't quite get his head around the idea that written words convey meaning would try to organize books alphabetically by first word. (Aziraphale does understand this, of course. "But nobody would ever -- yes, fine, go ahead." I love that line. Aziraphale would hate my metadata class -- or he'd love it, just to do the opposite of every organizational principle I teach!)
Hell uses writing, but very inexpertly: the typography on its signs is (with full Doylist intent) execrable, and in s2 we learn that most demons can't spell for beans. What Hell can do with written words, apparently, is contracts, like the one Crowley has to sign for the baby Antichrist -- and after the Job minisode and its miles-long bet contract, I don't actually think contracts come from Hell in general, I think it's Satan specifically who writes them. (Maybe Satan used to be the Word. That'd be interesting. GO theologians, start your engines.)
Hell does seem to have a lot of paper around, shuffled into various overflowing cabinets and stamped at various desks. Hell even has a Lord of the Files! Even so, Furfur relies substantially on a visual display at his desk, a camera, and a surveillance video display. Most of the paper seems to be for handling former humans -- once again, written words and humans are inextricably entwined in the GOverse.
As for angelic and demonic magic, I notice a substantial absence of grimoires, chanting, or incantation, and a whole lot of picture (as we see in the Starmaker's book) and gesture. The Starmaker says "Let there be light" (and so does Aziraphale in s1), but I don't think by internal GOverse logic it'd have worked without the pull-down gesture.
All of which is to say that Aziraphale doesn't need the written word to be an angel; the written word is distinctly unangelic. Writing has to have been something he picked up from humanity, and decided he liked. It's one more thing that distances him from Heaven, as we can see in Gabriel's open contempt for Aziraphale's books, and even the well-meaning Jimbriel's instrumentalist use of books as fans and flyswatters and gravity testers.
Notably, when Nina asks to use Aziraphale's books instrumentally -- as weapons -- she rationalizes it to Aziraphale by indicating that the information in the encyclopedias will still exist online. Aziraphale accepts this! Not without pain, but he accepts it. He, unlike Jimbriel, can separate the meaning of a writing from its carrier. Hi, hello, yes, I am a librarian and I have read my Suzanne "Madame Documentation" Briet and Paul Otlet and Michael Buckland. I've even taught them. Content vs. carrier is a Whole Dang Thing in the history of librarianship. (Also, I am now headcanoning liek whoa that Aziraphale learned French to better understand Briet and Otlet. If he ever starts waffling about antelopes, I will know why.)
But that still leaves @thundercrackfic's actual questions: what exactly attracts Aziraphale to the written word? and how well does he understand it? And my additional question: what about Muriel? I'll get there. I promise! But I still need to talk about rules.

Was YRZ really locked up due to his angel form? I have this random theory that Heaven locks up or "erase" famous and capable leaders and radicals that go against the status quo to maintain the peace of heaven. Because honestly, I feel that a lot of philosophers and leaders wouldn't like how Heaven is run all that much.
I figure that a lot of leaders and philosophers don't actually get into heaven lol. just cause you're smart or charismatic doesn't make you good. actually, i feel like it's the opposite for the few that do get in -- the very famous important people are given special privileges (not sainted, that's a separate thing you have to earn from your actions while alive) and get absorbed into the ranks of the bureaucracy pretty fast. they get comfortable.
you know what's uncomfortable? change. So people being people, even in heaven, would prefer to maintain the status quo where they're respected. i doubt anyone ever thinks about how heaven is kind fucked up, because why would they? they're happy.
for yrz, he was locked away initially for his angel form. honestly, if heaven let him out after a couple years when he had more control, he would've been salty but he also would've understood. but yrz made the mistake of sharing his opinion on hell (which might also be my opinion on hell lol), namely: eternal punishment for any crime is monstrously unfair. you're going to let someone be tortured forever because they were an addict???? forever??? do you know how long forever is???? the rules are arbitrary and unclear. any deity who thought the heaven/hell system was the ideal one is a fucking moron and deserves no respect or worship.
ah, thinks heaven's leadership. this outspoken human rights activist who fought the system his whole life might try to change the system that is actively damning people to eternal torment. welp, that's not ideal.
so the locking away was technically not a punishment for yrz! management just -- left him where he was. where he couldn't spread his silly little ideas of fairness around.

Time to rant about the Alvarez arc and issues I had with it once more now that I've posted some spriggan redesigns. This might be long.
The largest reason Alvarez and anything following Tartaros fall so flat is because you can almost tell Mashima was checked out by that point. That his excitement for the series had dwindled.
I have this theory that Tartaros was meant to be the last arc of the series but there were still things unanswered meaning that he was forced into adding more on. Now I don't say this as someone who thinks tartaros should've been the end, but because none of the villains after this point have any weight to them when honestly they should. All the reveals feel like they're done to surprise the audience more than flesh out the story.
I'm someone who always hated the Irene as Erza's mom plot because we really didn't need it. It was a trend of "villain is a blood relative" twists mashima kept throwing in and by that point it was honestly more annoying than anything. Erza never had questions about her family. She was never focused on her past so introducing her mother felt so out of left field. Irene literally could've just been the person who was in charge of creating the tower of Heaven, maybe she was even the on who corrupted Jellal, and that would've done far more towards making me invested in a showdown between her and Erza than anything in canon.
In general the Spriggan 12 being set up as characters involved in the various arcs would've been so beneficial because it would've given readers actual reasons to be angry or upset. What if Invel was the one who created Deliora and consistently tried to create new ice demons to impress Zeref. What if Layla's death was originally believed to be an accident but as time goes on Lucy uncovers more deaths and incidents connected to her mother that eventually lead back to Brandish. The tartaros group answering to August, who is still devote to Zeref, giving us a more solid reason to believe him as a Wizard king and actual tangible terror at the thought of facing him if tartaros itself would bend to him.
And this isn't even getting into how all their designs seem so slapped together causing them to look more like mid level/filler villains than actual final arc antagonists. Compare them to any of the tartaros characters and it just instantly becomes so obvious which ones Mashima actually cared about. By that point he knew he just had to make the women scantily clad and his die hard fans would ignore everything else. Jacob Lessio is one of the first Spriggan I think of whenever I get angry over how rushed their designs are.
Even Zeref himself felt so disappointing as a villain because any hype built for him really peaked during the tartaros arc. I was sure he'd be the one to appear instead of Mard Geer. It felt like that's what tartaros was building to. But instead we someone new and Zeref was pushed back. We could talk about him torturing Mavis and how Mashima still wanted to paint things between them as romantic because heaven forbid Mavis actually be a human with emotions who gets mad and vengeful when she's hurt, but we'll move on.
Beyond just this, Alvarez kingdom could've been so very interesting to have in the background, mentioned every now and then off handedly by side characters or guild members when discussing the world around them. This idea of it always existing but just never seeming important to our leads who aren't thinking about the political side of things. Us getting Alvarez hints early on and Alvarez only increasing in importance would've been something for fans to hold onto and engage with.
Mashima really dropped the ball on the series following Tartaros from the gray villain arc that amounted to nothing, a 1 year time skip setting up Natsu and Lucy collecting guild members that ended with everyone miraculously back at the guild with no persuasion necessary, to his final antagonists carrying non of the weight he wanted because titles don't create fear. And it makes me so incredibly furious because all it would've taken was actual care and interest in his own creation.

I was thinking about something... We know that both Lilith and Alastor were missing for the last 7 years and we have confirmation that Lilith is now in heaven and from Alastor breakdown in finale that his powers are somewhat compromised, limited (what could also add to the reason why he lost to Adam, since as prideful as Al is he couldn't fathom loosing to him even when not on his full power) and that his deal is part of it, probably even cause.
Soooo, long post theory ehead.
Leading theory is that Alastor made not so good a deal with Lilith but! When? If it happened during those 7 years would Husk know about it at all since it looks like Alastor might not even be able to talk about it? (Again, his pride and hubris but it also looks like he isn't allowed to say much about those 7 years) I highly doubt Alastor had some heartfelt conversation about that somewhere during those 6 months of show, especially if he really cannot say much about it so... Husk shouldn't know much.
What if the deal itself is old news and recent development was just part of it? Since he played with some voodoo during his lifetime it's not out of question he made it even before his death or right after since from the beginning he was able to take down overlords one after another. Also - did Al actually sold his soul or someone pulled on him "power for tiny favour in future" ploy? Or both?
The question of why he's engaging with the Hotel's plot is also on, because as honestly compelling is the idea he was just bored we can be sure it's just an excuse and he has way bigger plans.
Alastor was and is the hunter.
He also can probably destroy souls. He threatened Husk to do so, since overlords he killed disappeared completely they could get this fate. Normally when the human soul gets killed in hell they come back sooner or later but not when killed by angels and apparently Alastor if he decides to do so.
Now to the point - I have weird feelings that his deal isn't with Lilith but rather this "future favour" is somehow connected to her and probably she's its target. What if she messed with the one who owns Alastor's soul and he was sent to silence her? From the start - I don't know if Alastor is/was strong enough to kill an ancient demon queen even with extra power from his "benefactor" but if so it would be wise to hide from demon who's hunting her in only place he would never be able to go - in heaven.
Now, why is Alastor supposedly weaker if he's to take down Lilith? BECAUSE HE FAILED and this is his punishment for that. Why was he missing for the whole 7 years? Was he searching for Lilith? Yeah, for that I have no fucking idea to be honest. Idk, he tried to break into heaven by force and accidentally fell into limbo between heaven and hell and just got out after 7 years and Lilith not sure where he is didn't want to leave her safe haven for which she probably paid quite a big price (probably part of the deal which Lute mentioned at the end of season). Idk, that would be funny.
This all could quite well fit the reason why Alastor is so interested not only in the Hotel but most importantly in Charlie. As redemption might be a way to enter heaven I doubt Al would even consider going through it, but just knowledge if it's possible for demon souls to go there would be some hint how to exploit this possibility to get to Lilith. But the most important part here is Charlie. She's still young and finding her footing and how's the best way to get her trust? Help her grow and achieve her goals. Alastor went for some lengths to gather some trust and by how everyone reacted for his comeback at the end it looks like aside from Lucifer and Husk he bought some of it from them. And there's also a question of Charlie's deal. "Favour where she doesn't have to harm her friends"? Maybe some footing for the way to lure Lilith out of heaven or find his way there to get her by himself.
So why doesn't Alastor just use Charlie now to lure Lilith out? If he threatened to harm Charlie who's still discovering her own power her mother should come running to help her child? Well judging from outside sources about Al and his personality he isn't as cold blooded as one might think and even when he was alive he had his code. Afterall using hostages is quite low blow, so he's trying to avoid it by manipulating Charlie into trusting her. This is also the reason why he hated Lucifer's involvement so much - he's another obstacle and actually quite problematic. One thing is to manipulate the young one to get to the ancient demon queen, the other to try to manipulate the young one in front of their father to get to the ancient demon queen who happens to be said fathers wife (ex?).
And now for the finale and his breakdown. One thing is his pride was just completely slaughtered by Adam, he's losing control, he's not only weaker than someone, but even weaker than he himself thought (and just a few hours earlier he was making fun of Adam for his hubris and just got the biggest UNO reverse card in his afterlife). Also, he realised that he almost died in an attempt of protecting Hotel and its residents. No matter if they are just means to the end, if he's accidentally creating himself a new obstacle on the way to his prey by getting attached to them and most importantly Charlie using them will be way more difficult. He's scared of showing any weaknesses, and here he showed not only that he isn't as powerful in fight as he seemed but now feels emotionally vulnerable. And he hates it so much.
SOOOOOOOOOO
One last thing. Who's the person with whom Alastor made a deal? Since he gained the skill of destroying souls one might think it's some angel, but then heaven wouldn't be so safe for Lilith. So probably Roo, the Root of whole evil that was teased here and there by Viv for some time. If so

For the ask game: general 1, 3, 6, 7. Prisoner, 1, 3 (Amane), 4 (mikoto) I didn’t ask too much questions did I
I AM SORRY FOR TAKING SO LONG RAHHHH I got the notif, forgor, got another ask for this like a day ago, forgot again, and finally check my inbox today lmao you asked the perfect amount of questions no worries!!
General:
1. My favorite prisoner? It really is Mikoto I cannot tell a lie 😭 why? He's just... So heartbreakingly earnest. And when I was on Milgram Twitter back in 2021 I really didn't want his story to be a DID story. I wasn't about to discuss that stuff on a pretty public account no matter how intrigued we were. However, as time went on, and we thought about how all the other prisoners are "mentally ill" in some form or another, we held out hope that the whole "DID murderer who doesn't remember" thing would be subverted in some way. We came to really really look forward to his second trial, and after Purge March even moreso. In our opinion, Milgram team fuckin DELIVERED when Oct. 25th came around. While I personally relate more to John, Mikoto's story and how it's being told are very important to me. The extreme ambiguity of it all makes it better honestly; it's strikingly realistic in that sense. A host who has no idea what's going on or how to deal with it, in a boat with a bunch of presumable singlets who feel the same way, strikes a chord that few other medias have. Plurality is a very difficult topic to do justice, but I think Mikoto's narrative is very humanizing.
3. Favorite headcanon has gotta be the sibling-type relationships, particularly Amane and Fuuta. I love the idea of them stirring up trouble together. Trans headcanons are also my favorite anything ever (transmasc Fuuta and Mikoto/John and nonbinary Amane are my personal favs but transfemme!Fuuta, transfemme!Kazui and other trans headcanons are all GOATed imo)
6. RAHHHHHHH DIFFICULT favorite MV? siiiigh it probably is MeMe. Surprise tone-shift? Check. Tarot motif? Check. THE CRIME IN BRUTAL DETAIL? Check. Lyrics go crazy. Color palette goes crazy. Outfits go crazy. Although I will say "I Love You" is criminally underrated and provocative. Also LOVVVVED Harrow, Tear Drop, INMF, Purge March and Deep Cover. It's so hard to pick!!
7. Who I would get along with? Ironically, probably Fuuta. I think I would put up with his gruff attitude better than most, and we'd probably have similar worldviews regarding justice and the systems in place in society. I've been in similar (thankfully less serious) positions regarding his murder. We both enjoy video games and ramen lol he's still a little shit tho. I also feel like Yuno and I have very similar worldviews and would get along just fine.
Prisoners:
1. What do I think of Amane? Easily one of my favorites. Why? SHE IS SO REAL THAT'S WHY. She's thoroughly heartbreakingly indoctrinated but STILL trusts herself enough to do what's in her best interest in protecting herself. She denies herself so much joy to honor her devotions, even though I'm almost sure she will come to realize that the only "god" looking out for her is her. She just wants everyone to have the "heaven" of infinite happiness she's been promised, and doesn't yet understand that it's something one must make for themselves and that no one can see and know her every move and judge her like that.
3. Amane's first verdict was cruel, but I understand why it happened. Magic's very vague about who she killed and it seemed like she did it simply because the doctrine said to. It was almost like she'd been manipulated into doing it and didn't feel bad at all. When really, she was just joyous that she got to punish her abuser for once, using the rules THEY told her; not the other way around. I still do regret voting "unforgiven," personally. Her second verdict though? Based. I was in the trenches w y'all for that shit. Purge March my beloved. She had every right to punish someone who would torture a child and I don't see how Kotoko doesn't get that??? Amane inno sweep all the way they better treat my girl RIGHT from now on.
4. What do I wish people understood more about Mikoto? Woooo boy. How do I word this.
In the fandom: Mikoto is just a host alter - he's as capable of being mean and aggressive as John is capable of being nice. And his response to John and anger towards the protector is as natural as it is unfair. He's not immune to being a flawed human and deals with stress very differently from John despite sharing a body. Mikoto's denial keeps him going along "normally," but it's doubtless that "he," Mikoto, is truly the responsible one for the crime (as hosts often are the ones making big decisions). And idk, people seem to understand overall?? But there still seems to be confusion sometimes, about how John isn't "just" a protector, but a completely separate person/ego state. Neither one is the "main" alter, or a "nicer"/"better" alter. They're rounded people like the rest of the prison.
In-universe: I wish they understood him and John. I wish they knew he switched sometimes, and that though they're different they aren't dangerous just by virtue of being like that. I wish Mikoto wouldn't shame himself for not "measuring up," and accept himself and what he's done. But we're going to superhell so idk about that.
Thanks for asking!

hc V2 almost met Gabe in Gluttony but they heard the 'Machine, turn back now...' and decided that they had to obey the one authoritive human voice they heard in hell and backtracked to Limbo.
How do you think their friendship would develop when they do meet? V2 would probably be glad to talk to someone who is somewhat sane, and maybe they would appreciate Gabe's human form or would that be a source of awkwardness?
sjdhfgfg absolutely love the idea that for ONCE gabriel's whole little speech...works. like the only reason he does it is just a left over of his chivalric values even though it seems to have no meaning to the machines - give them the chance, he guesses, but it's become an automatic script of no consequence. until v2 is like "oh...ok. understood." it's glad in a way to get some direction while gabe is like ???????? IT LEFT?????? and he can sort of feel good for a bit that maybe his words mean something to somebody still. even some machine. at the very least, it was worth keeping it up until then.
i've talked about what i think their relationship would be like a little before, but i genuinely believe they have a lot they can relate on if given the chance - they are both based in violence yet are meant to act as protectors...and ultimately, they have both failed. however, this common ground hardly means they would get along at first - they see all of their flaws in the other, they see what they perceive as their own worthlessness, and that causes plenty of friction at first. what is v2 good for, still chasing after peace down in hell? humanity is gone and it has no one left to protect, yet it's still adhering to orders and programming that has absolutely no place in this world. it's small wonder v1 bested it twice. and what is gabriel good for? an angel without a god, still behaving like some kind of knight when heaven itself as rejected him and hell is being destroyed by machines. it's no wonder v1 bested him twice. they hate seeing themselves reflected back so plainly.
they wouldn't keep it up forever as they both come to terms with their realities, both taking one too many shots that just gets turned right back on them by the other. and gabriel would eventually see it's ridiculous, how he wants v1 to have a relationship with v2 yet he refuses to be civil; and v2 realizes how dumb it is to keep throwing insults at the one guy left in hell that might still appreciate the finer parts of its mind, the part that dreams, that has aesthetic senses no other machine does. And so they would slowly become more open to one another, the ice melting between them as they find more to share in than just their failure. yet there is something comforting in that foundation, one they don't touch for quite some time - they were both made for a singular purpose, and that purpose is now gone. they exist as beings never meant to be adrift, beings that should be discarded the minute they are no longer useful.
however, i think what proves to be most important for both of them is the far more human-like connection they find in one another - v2 was trained on human social models far more than any other machine and gabriel comes from the same creator as humanity. no, neither are an exact match as v2 is still very much ai, still a war machine with a coat of paint applied, while gabriel lacks much of humanity's creativity and power to fully self-direct, but it's a far closer approximation than either would have otherwise. v2 can finally talk about its imagination, about its dreams, with someone that understands (and even helps it interpret its more metaphorical simulations)...and honestly, i think v2 would like seeing gabriel's human face. he would apologize for its appearance now, knowing that the frostbite might be jarring - v2 doesn't really mind that either, though it does have protocols telling it how it should help him it has to keep ignoring lol it likes listening to the stories he tells it, describing all the humans this face knew and the simple things he would do with them even as an angel. over and over gabriel speaks on the kindness of the humans he met (of course, he was sent from god), how he was invited into their homes and shared food with them, how they always insisted he leave with a gift no matter how he refused. it's clear he misses them in a way many angels don't, but a way v2 does despite never really getting its chance to know them. so really their connection is one filled with a lot of mourning, a lot of grief for who they were and what they lost - it's outlet for feelings that had no other place before they met.

Foxglove’s big lore round up:
I made this more coherent over here but I like some of the links in this thing so. We’ll Keep It.
I don't know if this makes since, and honestly it's subject to change again at any time. I might even come back to this post this afternoon and ad things I think about. Might do that A Lot Actually.
I have many different thoughts about Sleep Token. On one hand I have a thought process that the Lore is a fantasy story, used to deal with the trauma of loss. And then I have a thought process that its not a fantasy story, that nothing in it states it as such, and that everything is about symbolism. And then I have a very deep part of myself that wonders, considering I am a bit of a witch, if maybe it’s not even completely symbolism. But then that’s just the idea that Vessel is, in some ways, a practitioner.
Lets begin.
I think the albums are released in order, but possibly the order in which Vessel could process the emotions he put into the songs, and not necessarily the order in which things happened, but I don’t want to look into that cause it makes my brain hurt, and I do like to think its a chronological time line.
First off, we have my og theory/thought process, which is that there was no woman who broke Vessel’s heart, and that its all a back and forth conversation between Vessel and Sleep. I don’t think this way anymore, I do think that some of it is a conversation between Sleep and Vessel, but I do think that someone broke Vessel’s heart, but not in the since that they left him, in the since that they died. And in doing so, left behind a very conflicted Vessel.
I have expanded on this theory/thought, to include that I think Vessel is a fallen god, and that Sleep is trying to help him regain godhood. (Or, behind the fantasy, Sleep is his reason to keep going, whether that's Sleep Token, or some form of coping mechanism or even just a muse or creative outlet, and godhood = leaving behind grief/depression).
My lore is that Sleep is genuine in his want to help Vessel (I use he/him pronouns because the one interview Vessel did he used he/him for Sleep. I think this is on purpose, and for some reason it really puts an upset in me when people use she/her pronouns for Sleep.), I think Sleep genuinely wants Vessel to get better, but Vessel is fighting Sleep because he is still in a place where he wants to deny that anything was wrong with the relationship he had with this person before they died. I think Vessel in some way blames himself for this Important Person’s death, and as such, fell out of grief, and moving on means becoming a god again.
I think theres also Some One Else in the songs, someone who is alive, and who he tried to go to as a coping mechanism, probably an unhealthy one. This is the person who he sings about mostly in TPWBYT, I think it’s someone who tried to help him after he attempted to take his own life.
Now for Fantasy, I still think that Vessel was ‘born’ with powers, but I think it’s because he is a fallen god, weather he was born, as in re incarnated, or if he just fell from ‘heaven’/Olyumpus, that's an entirely different story. I could see both.
Sleep recognizes him first, sees how powerful he is, sees that with Vessel’s help Sleep could both become more powerful, and help a fellow god out, and such he goes to Vessel.
I think that the other gods have turned their backs on Vessel for some reason. I think maybe the person he loves was important to the gods in some way, and now they are dead, and so he is shunned. I think it also has something to do with why he fell. Maybe he was pushed.
And so Sleep and Vessel have a hard relationship because Vessel is constantly pushing back against Sleep, not wanting to heal and move on even though it will be good for Both of them.
I do think Sleep is selfish in the since that all gods are, and Vessel as a human now can see it. I also think that Sleep does want Vessel to use his powers more then Vessel is comfortable with, and that’s another thing they argue about.
I still think that some songs are about trust, and Love = Trust still. I still that Sleep is partially sleep, and that Vessel suffers from insomnia. I am very adamant in my thoughts that One - Denial, Two - Anger, Sundowning - Bargaining, TPWBYT - Depression, TMBTE - Acceptance.
I talk to myself in circles about Sleep Token, and the different themes I find every time I listen to an album and Pay Attention.
Here’s some links,
My og theory if you want to read it, as some of it is relevant to this post, but also not
Themes I hear from each song (I need to update this again cause theres also a lot of themes of survivors guilt, and I also never got into themes of Water.)
Me and Cass talking about God Mother, and who she might be.
My first post about Vessel being a fallen god
(@a-little-lynx is this the right blog to @ now, or do i still @ the other blog? any way I mentioned you in this post and linked to our conversation about God-Mother I hope thats ok??)

Terrarium Lights, pt. 3.5
Previously on Terrarium Lights: Looks like someone else is involved now. Or already was. (Next part >>here)
Jonathon was standing very near Gail's chair. She could practically feel the warmth and static coming off of him.
"Oh? That’s right, you mentioned the friend. Said he’d come back?"
Mrs. Seward nodded. "We don't know how, or what all happened, but… one morning his body was just… back at the lighthouse, same place we’d last seen the both of them."
"Where in the lighthouse?" Gail asked, reaching for the first question that came to mind.
"At the top, in the lantern room. Showed up in the middle of the night, too. Morvin thought something had malfunctioned, so he went around to check and, bam—" Mrs. Seward smacked the table—"Jonathon was there, like he'd never left, though Heaven alone knows how he got to the top of the lighthouse. He did look a little dirty and worse for wear, but he didn't even look older than when he'd left."
Gail heard a sharp intake of breath from behind her, mirroring her own."She knows who I am?" Jonathon's voice quivered. "She's Samuel's mother? She would know Samuel, too, then."
Gail almost nodded agreement but stopped herself last second.
"How very odd," she replied. "But… very lucky. I'm glad he came back to you."
Mrs. Seward hesitated. "I did, actually, have a favor to ask of you," she said, carefully separating another cubed bite and lifting it to her mouth. "I know we don't quite know each other. We’ve chatted before, but, really, I'm practically a stranger, and I've told you a lot of private things that I don't know if you wanted to know, but… well, we go to the same church and I know you're highly regarded there. I had actually thought about asking you before, but it felt forward of me to interrupt you on your way out of church. Could… could you pray for him? For Jonathon? He… he hasn't quite fully come back yet."
Jonathon stepped forward, into Gail's peripheral view. He was buttoning and unbuttoning the bottom of his vest, watching Mrs. Seward intently.
"No worries there." Gail reached across the table and patted Mrs. Seward's hand. "If I can help you at all, I would be happy to. And I do like praying. Do you know what exactly is the issue?"
Mrs. Seward’s shoulders relaxed a little, and she shook her head. "The doctor knows some things, but hasn’t quite figured out the whole picture yet. Apparently, Jonathon suffered a bad injury to his head, and the doctor suspects he will lose most of his memory. There also seems to be something wrong with his eyes. We're not sure what, but the doctor also suspects that he may no longer be able to see properly."
"Oh…." Jonathon sounded like he'd been struck in his stomach.
"I'm very sorry to hear that," Gail said, frowning sympathetically.
"The doctor is doing all he can, but… honestly, he doesn't have any idea why Jonathon hasn't woken up yet."
"I… I… I don't know why either." Jonathon lifted a hand towards her, but stopped, looking at his hand for a long moment before letting it fall back to his side.
"Maybe something happened in however he came back," Gail suggested, grasping for ideas. She couldn't very well say that he was right there, listening to their conversation, and she had no idea if Mrs. Seward knew about the portal thing. She didn’t know about the portal thing, so she also wasn’t the best person to bring it up. But beyond whether or not she'd be believed, Gail didn't know Jonathon's thoughts on the matter yet, and it wouldn't be right to just decide to tell people things, things about him, without his input.
"Maybe. There’s enough about the whole situation that we don’t understand, so I won’t rule it out.” Mrs. Seward set her fork down by her plate, pressing it against the table as if she could channel her confusion and worry through it into the open. “But… we don’t know what to do about it, and that’s what’s more important. And, well… there’s not much we can do, except pray and trust. I… I still don't feel like I know many people at our church, which feels wrong to say, but I know you at least understand what it's like to lose a child. So… I wanted to ask if you could help us pray that our child comes back to us." Mrs. Seward's voice faltered. "He's not actually our child, you know, but… he was so close with our Samuel, and I know he doesn't have any family left, so… it feels like he is our son, too, in a way."
"I didn't know…" Jonathon said, voice thick. "That's… that's probably why I recognized the lighthouse. Not just because this is where the portal was built, but because of my friends and family."
"I understand," Gail said, voice soft, weighted with the emotions that came with her understanding. "I would be happy to pray about this with you."
Mrs. Seward smiled gratefully, unshed tears in her eyes; she turned back to her plate, looking at it with the expression of someone with too many thoughts in their head. Before Gail started her prayer out loud, she seized the opportunity to give Jonathon's leg a quick, reassuring pat from under the table.

Hello can you do a few Headcannons for Falken? Anything goes including NSFW ones.
Well I usually don't do NSFW, it's not really my thing... Buuuuut, I'm in a good mood today and I feel confident I can write it.
As usual, the reader is gender neutral, no gender specific body parts of the reader are mentioned.
Author note: It's my first attempt at NSFW so I hope I wasn't too random or chaotic. Also I should mention that I'm actually asexual so I have no idea what sexual attraction is, sorry if any of this is awkward :D I can just work with my experience and imagination and I hope it makes sense to you as well.
Falken x reader headcanons
Warnings: NSFW, sub & dom dynamic, sex in his office, established relationship, oral sex, mostly sub!Falken just because I can.
Falken definitely likes having you on his lap when he works. If you're tall he definitely has you sitting so that he can use your chest as a pillow while he reads documents, no matter the boob size. If you're short, he'll probably have you straddle him and rest his chin on top of your head. But if you're just in the middle way, not short enough nor tall enough, he usually has you sitting with your back to his chest, and when he gets tired he nuzzles his face in your neck.
Now I said in a previous post he knows how to balance work life and private life, making sure your time together isn't interrupted by work. But what about the other way around? He won't admit it but he likes when you interrupt his work... Just give him a warning so he can lock the door and clear the desk of any important documents.
Or don't.
It'll be fun to hear him talk to someone who just walked in while you give him a blowjob from under the desk. Falken has great self control but he will stumble on his words now and then when you suck on it. Use this information however you want.
Now I'll be honest, he gives me submissive vibes.
Like he might be a tired dom (is that a thing?) at best, but in reality I think he's a sub, that's because at work he is always the one in charge of things and while he is with you he likes to relax... and he low-key likes to be taken care of.
I feel like he is the soft type when it's not just a quickie in his office.
Falken needs to kiss you while you two do it. He has been used by his family and betrayed by the one he looked up to the most. Just reassure him you're here to stay and you love him, okay?
This also means that positions where he can't kiss you are a big no no. You can literally put him in a mating press or have him against a wall, just kiss him while you do it and let him kiss you.
Oh by kissing I don't mean just the lips. Kiss him everywhere, from his neck to his stomach to his thighs, before, during and after the sex.
He definitely has a praise kink, I won't elaborate on why I know this, I just do. Both giving and receiving.
Even when/if he's in charge, tell him that he's making you feel so good, or that he's doing such a good job, and you will feel the stutter in his hips.
Stamina? High, he is a trained esper, but it takes him some time to recover after coming so usually it's just one long round, if more there are breaks between each round.
Aftercare? Yes absolutely. If you just railed him to heaven and back, please take good care of him, he's probably exhausted now. If he was the one doing the railing, he's usually quite gentle but he'll ask if you're alright regardless and will get you some water and make sure you stay warm.
Don't be too rough with him though. As I said, he likes to be taken care of. He won't mind if you overstimulated him a bit or if you're a bit harsh when you move, but pain and choking are an absolute turn off for him.
Except love bites. Love bites are ok. Don't make him bleed of course, but he doesn't mind the purple marks on his skin.
I mentioned how you could go under his desk and give him oral, but I didn't talk about him giving you oral.
And honestly I was having a hard time imagining it.
Until I thought of a hand lifting (read: grabbing) his hair while his mouth is busy.
Now you have this picture in your head too.
Like he definitely gives too. Maybe not too eagerly, but he doesn't dislike it either.

I finally finished good omens 2!!
Some spoilers I guess for those later into it than me:
Metatron is a manipulative shit. Calling it now.
He was part of the party that fired Gabriel, was the one to insist he be searched for quietly and then acted as if the angel group might be in trouble when all was said and done.
The natzi zombie thing was...horrific. Those poor ppl they ate...🥺
No spoiler I came across warned of them.
The friendship between Shax and her buddy she made a deal w/ was cool. I like how they honestly remained honest about helping each other so far. 🤣 They even did a fist bump over her prospective promotion to grand Duke of hell meaning she could drag his ranking up too!! And it's cute how she goes to the Traitor Crowly for advice or clarification after having taken his rank and that he actually gives it even when mocking.
I can see why ppls feelings were hurt by the ending but it wasn't THAT bad. Tho I think I'm only able to think that cuz I saw posts about a season 3 incoming so...lol.
I could honestly see where both were coming from regarding the whole "be together in heaven" thing but I think Crowly had the better idea of things. Both sides are toxic. They also give a lot of pressure. And while Aziraphale may want to change things on the inside it doesn't mean he'd be able to, even with the 2 of them. Especially since he's so gung-ho still about heaven being right.
Speaking of, am I the only one who found that odd? He's been questioning and circumventing heaven while collaborating with a demon for...too many damn centuries to just insist that Heaven is the good side like that negates all the things he's witnessed and gone through and had to work around to help ppl.
I mean the true start of his disquiet and discomfort was learning that a favored human of God was being purposely bullied, harassed, tormented, bereaved, and forsaken for a bet. A lousy bet with no true stakes or real worth since God is "all seeing and all knowing" and therefore shouldn't feel need to do so because of a demon's needling.
He seems like he's not really liked by other angels much and he knows the other higher ups don't really respect him. If he felt it hard to bend rules and such before why exactly does he think he will have an easier time avoiding direct orders from the very tops? Disregarding his excitement. Who will actually, properly listen to him? When he himself can be easily led if not feeling stubborn.
The whole last conversation between the demon and angel was just...I mean it struck me that Aziraphale tends to not listen. Not properly anyway. When Crowly wants to say something important-urgent even, he's disregarded or made to wait because Aziraphale just has to say or do his thing 1st. And even if or when he listens...he doesn't do so fully. Not for the important conversations we got to witness. He'll insist on things having to go his way or no way at all unless he's kinda forced to reconsider or compromise. And sometimes that takes him awhile.
Like why was it such a big deal for him to admit he likes Crowly even now? After everything. He chose "its us against them" as his side but still looks perturbed when someone says they're friends. Still insists he's on the good side, heaven's side. He can say he needs Crowly and wants them to work together in heaven. But not try to discuss anything further because their viewpoints differ again.
Personally I don't see why they don't plan out how to make it all work in their favor, get heaven to make a few more concessions or whatever and if after both are now angels and still don't like the mindless/senseless harm heaven tries to make them do they can then run off far away together like Crowly has wanted since...before season 1 I think? It would make it only 1 faction likely to chase them instead of both as previously feared.
Also I'm disappointed that Aziraphale didn't defend Crowly when Metatron insulted him for having "too many fool questions". And was actually a warning flag for me. Yknow aside from the look he gave Crowly when 1st leaving.
Anyway!
I'm a little disappointed with the style Crowly chose to blend in to heaven. I mean he was cute or whatever but I missed the curl/wave to his hairrrrrrr
I like that Crowly confronted Gabriel about how mean he was to Aziraphale before trying to kill him. He didn’t remember as it happened but I'm sure he remembers once he got his thoughts back. Still could've gave a proper thank you to both tho.
I also like that Aziraphale didn't push Crowly away from him for the kiss. Couldn’t tell if he kissed back. But he did rub his hands on Crowly's back so that's something I guess lmao.
Oh! But the end credits! That was interesting. Crowly maintained his upset but stoic disposition while Aziraphale kept trying to force his pleasant smile on his face over and over.
It occurs to me the whole promotion thing could be a trap.

AWCW being the most popular angel in Heaven meanwhile everyone excluding Muriel STILL hates Aziraphale
hi anon!!!✨ idk if you're the same anon as before re: AWCW knowing saraqael, beelzebub, and lucifer, but in any case... i don't think it necessarily means that he was popular? tbh i haven't thought much about it - but for me, if anything, AWCW sounds like someone that was very impressionable, rather easily led, and eager for praise. that sounds like someone very easily manipulated, to me - not necessarily popular? (or idk, are they the same thing?)
fwiw, im going to look at this without the memory-wipe theory in mind.
pre-fall, he is very enraptured in his work, to the point that he almost strikes me as the mad-professor character type in how blinkered and passionate he is about his creations. could go on about this scene in this context, but he strikes me very much as having been a team of one - "working on this since... well, forever!" - albeit working closely with Upstairs on the design. however, now that im thinking about it, i do wonder if AWCW ever really spoke directly to god on this part of her universe? he later says about gravity, "seemed like a good idea when we were all talking about it...", so actually, in truth, did he get beyond the department meetings? he's not 'important enough' (inference here) to know about the plan that will directly affect his creations...
anyway, i digress. AWCW seems like someone who gets a bit disenchanted with him and his creations being taken for granted, and is happy to be recognised by the actual 'cool kids' instead. angels that he thought were friends, but probably just dragged him along, made him do shit, and then ultimately used him - the issue is, however, how willing AWCW may have been in doing all this.
saraqael's interaction with crowley re: their memory of him as AWCW building stars together (which tbh for me kinda supports the department thing i said above - i personally think saraqael outranked him), however, seems largely professional. that being said, personally, i think they were rather fond of AWCW, maybe again in his childlike wonder and brilliance - and i don't think that fondness came from remembering the AWCW that we see at the end of the pre-fall scene.
i think saraqael may have been a supervisor, or perhaps a mentor, but took a special interest in AWCW, and later kept an eye on him (see: use of his chosen name "crowley" when they meet in heaven). again, not going into the memory-wipe theory, but alternative to that may well be that AWCW was, again, at this point so enraptured in his work that he didn't really pay attention to his supervisors; i think he knew he wass brilliant, and was blind to other people in turn.
funnily enough, it seems that by extension of this the only one to actually turn his head was aziraphale, but even then that seems to only be when aziraphale tells him about the plan for the stars. otherwise, i think aziraphale could - in AWCW's eyes - have honestly been another angel and AWCW would have interacted with them (in the beginning of the conversation anyway?) in exactly the same way; he just wants to show off his stars.
the one that does confuse me is furfur. and no, not just because of the monkey/waistcoat thing, but because this is the only interaction where, for me, it denotes any sense of "cool" into AWCW; the way that furfur talks about who crowley was is almost 'hey you were one of the cool kids and we hung out one day after detention do you remember do you- oh, you dont? cool whatever neither do i'
now this to me (aside from the fact of furfur literally referencing the great war in this context) says to me that furfur literally only knows him from after AWCW fell in with the Bad Crowd. two very different reflections of this facet of crowley's history, indicated from two different perspectives (ie furfur and saraqael). but neither, to me, make him a popular kid.
instead, i think it makes him the nerdy guy who was getting Annoyed and Angry at being used or underappreciated, and fell in with an even Worse Group that used him even worse, because they made him feel appreciated. he doesn't indicate this in the s1 dialogue about how he came across "lucifer and the guys", but... well, i'll say it again - i think that crowley is a particularly unreliable narrator. or a least a skewed one.
aziraphale's story to me is very different, because actually? from the very little info we've got about him pre-fall (way less than crowley, arguably), i personally wouldn't be surprised if - at the time - aziraphale was the truly popular angel. happy to look at parsing this out separately, anon, but im aware this answer is long enough as it is!!!✨

Hello! ♡
That's one of the reasons why I enjoy writing too, especially x Reader content! I want people to know that their favorite character loves and cares about them, that they want them to be happy and healthy and do the things they love! No matter how you're feeling, what insecurities you have, they will always love you, unconditionally! ♡
AHHHH that trend sounds so cute! (especially since I do have trouble opening jars and such sometimes cause I'm weak lol) And awww Kuko peeling the orange for us! What a cute scenario! If Jyushi did ask he probably would hit him with a rolled up magazine or something like you said! I love the idea of Kuko being soft for the Reader (in his own way of course! He's still the same old Kuko!) but more so in the small things/ways he shows it like your example!
When I think of Ichiro and Valentine's Day the first thing I think of is him sitting around a table with his brothers as they brainstorm what he should do/get for you (especially if it's your first Valentine's Day together as a couple) Jiro would bring out the Shojo manga and they'd be looking through different ones to get ideas lol It'd be super cute!
I have A LOT of thoughts when it comes to DH, especially Rosho! Each of them is silly in their own way, and especially when they're together that's when they really becomes fools lol But something I can't get out of my head is Sasara trying to play wingman for Rosho, especially if Rosho is too anxious or worried to say or do anything (Which I can totally see him freezing up when he likes someone, since we already know he has stage fright!) Like I can picture Sasara coming over to me and acting like he usually does and walking back over to Rosho who's just like, "What was that!?" while I'm just confused and don't know what's going on lol
Like I would LOVE to write a Rosho x Reader where the Reader works at the same school he teaches at, where the Reader is either a teacher (who teaches Home Ec) or is the school nurse (or even a lunch lady? Lunch lady could be cute....oh I'm really liking the lunch lady idea!!)
I actually have some merch from the Sanrio collab of Hifumi and corocorokuririn! My friend thought he was Natsuki from Utapri and got it for me lol It's super cute! ♡ My favorite Sanrio character is My Sweet Piano (she's my tumblr icon!) and Hello Kitty is my second fave! I wish we would see more of Piano in collabs, but I was super happy when I saw her with Luka in the Project Sekai Sanrio collab they had!
Thank you! ♡
YOUR FAVE WILL LOVE YOU FOREVER!!!! It’s true, I asked them!! <3 <3 <3
Kuko is actually very ahhhh, like solid to me? Solid as in he won’t really change no matter the person or situation. So in a way he’s difficult to write for, but also very easy. WWKD? (What Would Kuko Do?) And the answer is, probably fist fight or start cussing someone out. And he’s a Leo?! Great heavens.
Ichiro has two of the silliest wingmen he could ask for. Ah yes, please seek aid from the kids. They have wonderful concepts to share. I don’t think they would try to sabotage unless they didn’t like me… Which I would be terrified if they didn’t because I like their brother!!!!! I’m gonna kiss him!!!! Honestly the idea of them getting inspiration from Shojo manga makes me feel kinda special because I like a lot of shojo romance. I have a big manga collection already so I might recognize the scene they picked if I watch closely!~!
Sasara is a great wingman!! He wants Rosho to succeed and he’s being as helpful as he can. “Rosho wants to ask you something! It’s important so go and meet him in his classroom later!” He’s oddly direct and he’d make a few puns. Rosho is Sasara’s best friend and they’re always hanging out and Rosho trying to ask a girl out would be helpful for his stage fright! … Exposure therapy! Rosho sees the cute new female teacher or lunch lady and is so scared of talking to her and messing up he can’t even work up a ‘hello’ or ‘good morning’ the first month of her working… He wants to greet her! At least to be polite! Sasara will help. Rei too… Don’t be scared… You’re one corny pick up line away from getting Rosho’s number!!!!!
YOU DO?!???? AGHHHHH PLEASE SHOW ME!! I wanna see it… I need to… Omg so many people see My Sweet Piano as an obscure Sanrio character too!! I didn’t even notice she was your icon!! And I looked at the little stickers and in a way… Hifumi and Natsuki do look alike a little. Hifumi will never be as tall but the hair style is kinda similar! Your friend had their heart in the right place!! I also like that Doppo has Kirimi-Chan wwwwww it’s lowkey a very strange pairing? Kirimi-Chan is just strange to me in general though I think Doppo should’ve gotten Gudetama!! But that’s just my opinion of course!~!

Hazbin Liveblog Episode 6
And here we go! Since Cherri wasn't in the last one she must be in this one. (There was a promo on twitter earlier.)
I forgot Cherri's Australian. Was that a thing in the pilot that I'm just forgetting or is it new? Whoof, poor Angel though.
You know, Charlie, I think your idea of 'fun and relaxation' is a bit different from Cherri's.
"Their rivalry is very important for Pent but he's just Some Guy" to her is funny. Also, he's blushingggg
Ooooo Sera was originally a bird! And Emily looks like she's just sort of a shape...thing?
"You are gifted to be here" and we are starting with this right out the gate, along with how Peter was acting.
Emily and Sera's freckles are adorable.
MOLLY????? LIKE ANGEL'S TWIN SISTER MOLLY????? IN THE BACKGROUND
So the average 'Winner' doesn't know about the exterminations... makes sense, I can't imagine anyone (like, say, Molly) would be happy to know that their loved ones who didn't make it up are at risk of being brutally slaughtered with their afterlives snuffed out instead of just... Living In A Shittier City. If Exterminations are 'entertainment' though, who is that entertainment for? Literally just Adam?
So that's what exterminators look like outside of the actual extermination, huh....... interesting.........
So Adam is outranked by the Seraphim. Makes sense, but good to know he's not the top dog.
HA. FUCKING CALLED ITTTTT.
Deciding to make her named by Adam, the sexist and misogynistic twat is... I can't decide if it's a stupid way to roll with it or fucking hysterical. Get back to me in 3-5 business days. (Does this mean that they're created like machines, if Adam gets to name them? They're not Winners, considering the secret would probably get out if that was the case..)
I wonder how much Heaven will like it if it turned out Adam and Lute are taking judgement of their own into their own hands.
I like the angel designs. They're neat.
Okay, as someone who's had to write Many An Essay and has always disliked the 'dictionary definition' thing, Adam is correct in this one instance. Lame and unoriginal indeed.
Oh god it's gonna show where he is right now and he's gonna be doing something wild with Cherri, isn't he.
Huh. The fact that he's genuinely about to turn it down... even if it doesn't end up that way, it's progress.
Also, Pent giving everybody drinks because Cherri isn't taking it is great.
Charlie growling............. I am, mayhaps, Gay
Charlie, I don't know if this is... the best angle. Honestly, maybe she should have focused on Pent?
Awww, Angel really does care. That's sweet.
TOP FIVE USES OF THE COMEDY RULE OF THREES: I'M HAVING SEX WITH EVERYONE HERE
Oh. Oh no.
I saw somebody saw that Niffty would go after Val as a 'bad boy' and yepppp.
FUCK YEAH, good for Angel! Interesting that the deal specifies that Val owns Angel specifically while he's in the studio, while Alastor's deal seems to tie Husk to him whenever he likes.
Considering Stellaluna likes collecting interesting bits and pieces of targets and other people if she can, she'd absolutely love chatting with Niffty about their respective collections.
Emily seems to be the younger and more empathetic of the two? I wonder what it is that Sera knows that she doesn't though.
OOPS, ADAM.
FUCK YEAH, EMILY.
I wonder if when they cut to Charlie's eyes it showed Vaggie during the extermination itself?
Oh, Emily is absolutely going to try and find a way down there to talk to Charlie- and maybe even talk to Lucifer.
Adam doodled the S on the sheet. Incredible.

Hello, I am sorry to barge in but I was seeing some of your posts regarding LMK and I wanted to ask a question
is Queen Mother of the West mentioned a lot in Journey To The West? (Or at least held with importance like Jade Emperor ?)
It felt a bit odd to not see her alongside Jade Emperor in the show not even once. I unfortunately don't know much about her but it striked me as a weird thing to never see her being mentioned in the show since she is Jade Emperor's wife. I think it would be nice if she would at least appear in a passing flashback or be mentioned by someone :(
(I am sorry for any typos, English is not my first language)
She only really makes a real impactful appearance in the start when Wukong ruins her party. Wukong only goes to heaven when he asks for help and even then he doesn't always go to the Jade Emporer so while we don't get a lot of scenes with the Jade Emporer either we see even fewer speaking lines from his wife as well.
She had bigger roles in other Xiyouji influential media like 1996 and 1986 as she is always at least there beside the Jade Emporer and offering counsel to his side but in the novel itself, it is hard to even say if she is in the same room in some scenes. It might be my bias speaking but I do love interpretation where they have them both at the head speaking to one another about choices in heaven and earth. Makes them feel like a real power couple.
Honestly, it would be a great time for her to show up in LMK considering she was to be the Jade Emporer's confidant. Perhaps even take the lead in the situation in heaven without him being present. Especially with how much history she would have with Wukong and even Wujing for that matter.
So many good ideas... so little taken advantage of...
(Don't worry about it, Eng is stinky)
