Graffiti Artist
When Hikaru heard about someone graffiting the school he wasn't surprised. He knew people get bored. When they get bored they do something to get unbored. So he wasn't surprised. No what surprised him was how much detail was in it. It was of a forrest. Trees, bushes, and a trail. He had seen some of the graffiti on his way to the club.
He could tell the person who made this was really into art. This type of detail took time and skill. Such skill that he knows took years to have. He remembers asking his mom how she got so good at designing and drawing the clothing she makes. "Time and effort. I've been drawing for as long as I can remember." Drawing never caught either twins attention.
But Hikaru always had an eye for detail. At least that's what his mother always told him. When he heard the graffiti artist hit again he brushed it off again. He had more important things to do. At least that's what he thought until he actually saw it. The graffiti art this time was Koi fish. The way the artist had made them looked like actual koi fish.
When the artist sticked a 3rd time Hikaru was excited to see what was drawing this time. This time the artist had graffitied the wall outside the club room. This time it was a beach with a beautiful sunset. Hikaru could stare at the artwork for hours. He took out his phone and snapped a photo. He should've tooken pictures of the other two.
A week later Hikaru was taking a walk out in the rose garden behind the school. It was peaceful. The only thing you could hear was the sounds of birds chirping and spray paint-wait. Hikaru froze. Spray painting? The graffiti artist! Hikaru hurred towards the noise. He had to know who was the artist. When he arrived he saw what was the most amazing artwork he'd seen yet.
It was of a single rose. The rose was covered in thorns. Ivy surrounded it. It wasn't finished yet but it was already breath taking. He heard a can shaking. When he turned he saw a (height) tall male. With (color) hair and eyes. He was (short/tall) for someone Hikaru's age but....he was breath taking too. He could see how bright the males eyes are.
How happy he looks spray painting. Hikaru released a breath he didn't know he was holding. The males head snapped in Hikaru's direction and he froze. Eyes wide with fear. He'd been caught. The male grabbed the bag that was by the wall and took off. Leaving a can of red spray paint. Hikaru tried calling out to him but the male already disappeared.
Hikaru picked up the can and on the side written in black fancy letters was (N. Last Name). Hikaru nodded his head. He now had a mission but first. Hikaru looked up at the wall. He had a piece to finish. Hikaru shook the can and got to work. Finishing the rose. Looking around once in a while to see if anyone had came out.
Half an hour later Hikaru heard foot steps and froze. He whipped his head around only to see the guy from earlier with a blush on his face as he stared at the wall. "Y-You finished it?" Hikaru nodded with a smile. "Yeah. I'm a pretty big fan of your work. I thought such art didn't deserve to go unfinished. I'm not as good as you, but my mom always told me I had an eye for details."
The guys nodded and looked away and took a deep breath. "Thank you. I'm (Name). (Last Name) (Name.)" He stuck out his hand. Which was covered in green spray paint. Hikaru smiled brightly and grabbed his hand. "Hitachiin Hikaru. Nice to meet you (Last Name)." Hikaru looked at their joined hands and laughed. They were both covered in spray paint. (Name) looked down and join in the laughing.
"We might wanna go and clean ourselves before we're caught." Hikaru nodded. "Yeah. Although I'm kinda screwed. I have club in about an hour and I don't have an extra uniform on me." (Name) looked shyly to the side. "You can have my extra uniform. It's in my locker. It's by the host club room." Hikaru's face lit up. "That's my club!"
(Name) looked surprised before smiling brightly. "I have a close friend in th club! Kyoya!" Hikaru froze. Perfect student Kyoya was friends with the graffiti artist? (Name) knew the look Hikaru was giving him causing him to laugh again. "We're neighbors. He knows about the whole graffiti thing. He's the one who gave me permission to graffiti the wall outside the club room!" Hikaru was even more shocked. Kyoya gave him permission?
"It gave him more customers." Hikaru nodded. That sounds like Kyoya. "Hey you did a good job finishing my piece. We should graffiti together again sometime." Hikaru smiled and nodded. "I'd love to make more art with you." (Name)'s face exploded with heat. Hikaru looked confused before he remembered what he said. "W-Wait! Not like that!" (Name) shook his head and laughed harder and Hikaru joined in.
Maybe in the future (Name) could help Hikaru with the family business. If they're still close by then at least. Hikaru blushed at his thought. Yeah...maybe one day.

we all know all doctors believe they are superior to all other doctors in every conceivable way, but if they had to pick just one quality they are stronger in than any other quality, which would it be
1: 1 thinks he's the sensible one, HE doesn't piss about in stupid costumes like his successors, HE takes himself and his travels seriously, HE doesn't go on stupid trips, it's very important he teaches his companions things and leaves whne it gets dangerous
he is wrong, being sensible is not a quality any doctor possesses in any capacity, hey doctor, remember the time you decided to impersonate a dead guy you found on the side of the road, literally just because you thought itd be fun
2: 2 thinks he's the most personable, the best at making friends, the others are all abrasive and obnoxious and it put the locals they meet off
he is wrong, every doctor both endears themselves to people or puts them off in roughly equal measure, his opinion is coloured by the fact doctors just can't get along
3: 3 thinks he's the biggest pacifist, he would only use violence when completely necessary, he wouldn't hurt a fly and always teaches his companions to prioritise kindness
3 is ridiculously wrong, he works for the army for goodness sake, nobody else does venusian akido at every opportunity
4: 4 thinks he's the smartest, not just among the doctors but among everyone in the entire universe, he's not got an ego, it's just obvious
he is wrong, other doctors have a lot more experience and knowledge to draw on, which is what 4 would consider being smart
5: 5 thinks he has the smallest ego, these other doctors are so full of themselves, not like him, he's so humble, he even listens to his companions sometimes
he might actually be right about this, well done him
6: (I've seen comparatively less of 6 so this could be off the mark but) 6 thinks he's the most pragmatic, he'll do what needs to be done other people's feelings and lives be damned
he is wrong, he is just a dick
7: 7 thinks he's the best at manipulating people, he can observe a situation and get exactly what he wants out of them, and they'll never know he's manipulating them
he's probably right, but do you know something he didn't observe, this isn't a good quality
8: (not into the EU so this is based off the TV movie and night of the Doctor) 8 thinks he's the one who can make the tough decisions when he has to, the other doctors have never had a decision as tough as him they would freeze in the face of serious trouble
so incredibly wrong, I mean really
9: 9 thinks he's the least cocky, he doesn't think he can win every time, the danger he faces is real and can get people killed if he's not careful
he's right about this, and all it took was the genocide of his entire planet
10: 10 thinks he has the moral high ground, he always makes the most ethical decision unlike the other doctors, he won the universe and now he gets to do whatever he wants, and what he wants is always what's best

11: like 4, 11 thinks he's the smartest, again, not. just. among the doctors but in the universe, but for. different reasons to 4, 11 thinks he's the best at solving puzzles and mysteries
very wrong, he only thinks this because he sees everything and a puzzle and a mystery for him to solve
12: like 5 12 thinks he's got the smallest ego, he knows he's just a mad man in a box trying his best and he shouldn't believe his own hype
he is wrong, being aware you have a massive ego isn't the same as not having one
13: 13 is like 2, she thinks she's the most personable, she doesn't go around implying she's better than everyone she meets because she isn't a dick
is she right? it's hard to say given she's much more focused on the nearest cool thing than the people she meets, but sure why not

i’ll start with urbosa as she was the one i was think abt currently- i like to think she has stuff both from the queen and zelda: like dishes/cutlery + jewelry from the queen and wall mounts with dried and pressed flowers in them + guardian parts and tools. as such i think she hordes but pretends she doesnt. she has molduking parts/guts and has it as a trophy! i would say she’d keep the weapons as trophies from the molduking but 1. she’d have access to better weapons than those and 2. those weapons likely came from travelers who either died or killed the thing, so itd be like shes reveling in someones death if she took the weapons (looking away from the vah naboris war crime incident.) she’d teach mipha how to make creamy hearty soup + it was probably a dish she and the queen shared a lot (especially if she died due to illness!), i think she’d have a garden (partly due to zelda and partly for resources, either flowers for gods/departed loved ones or stuff like food and such.) or like. 1 potted plant., she had Problems with the shield surfing trial and was frustrated about it, possibly dances for fun + has books on different styles of dance from other races or regions, also because of the flower thing i think she prays to farore the most
mipha!! i think she’d be mildly scared of urbosa (mainly due to thhe electricity thing), SHES JACKED. one of her trials has her defeat flying guardians and trying to do waterblight with her weapons is decently hard. so i like to think combat wise shes horrifying, possible a prankster (especially when younger!), lots of opal and topaz jewlery but enjoys . i. i would say rose quartz but im remembering a certain Something, i feel like revali and her would be like siblings without sibling baggage. like theres definitely a mutual friendship but also Violence depending on how you look at it. they will team up however mipha will also cause psychological torment. i think she’d like to use the small zora sword from time to time and practices either with urbosa , revali, or link with it!, collects fish scales :], possibly knows a bit of armor terminology? king dorephan used to have an armour shop but it was removed (this is said in botw by the lady who gives us the trousers). i like to think she’d like to sit at shatterback point. at night either for the stars the glowing domain or naydra if she could see em
revali!!! he keeps a part dinraals horn as a trophy from his trials, possibly under an adult? its a popular hc due to his cheeks which is common for kid rito however kass Also has it! either way though its a neat idea, when you fight windblight having his gear he actually has a feathered edge sword which i like to think means revali ALSO TRAINED AT SWORD FIGHTING. he didnt have the time because he kept practicing archery but he either A. genuinely wanted to fight link and wanted to even the playing field or B wanted to one up link. or C. he decided to pick it up just in case either due to an Incident or to cover his bases. he likes bomb arrows A Lot and also quick draw bows!!!, it’s debatable whether hes good with kids but he Does care for them as he opened up the flight range for them once i believe, i like to think he likes fish pie, guy is absolutely broke compared to the champions, on one hand itd be Cool if he knew about one of the hebra hotsprings however i dont think he’d venture that far out Or take care of himself unless it was Bad bad (theres no honor in suffering!)
daruk!! this one i dont have a lot on,,,,, i think he’d be smarter than he portrays himself (especially with the standing on lava trial) + still try to lighten to mood, i’d like to think he’d try to draw from time to time!, would get embarrassed if people knew he drew from time to time, respects the idea of the dead souls being in luminous stones and does Not eat them, has not pranked anyone yet but he Gladly would. in secret of course, i like to think he’d throw/punt link like how susie throws kris at enemies. he also does this for revali before he can use his gale sometimes, he can skip rocks in lava and is pretty good at that ‘throw the pouch in a wooden board with a hole’ game

do not hurt me but ever since last summer i thought it would be sooooo cool to put a like. danganronpa spin on TQ / UD dkndkg LIKE LIKE.... itd have the danganronpa mechanics and stuff but not necessarily the killing game premise you know? itd make more sense if i like explained my ideas and such but i also think i wanna save it for later.... but know i have a shit ton of thoughts on what i wanna do and stuff dgkdg i WILL say however, protag!laura and protag!sam respectively
i wanna make this like... immediate swap of the UD characters w/ TQ charas ... like. emily woould swap w/ kaitlyn, jess w/ emma, sam w/ laura, ashley w/ abi etc etc. so instead of kaitlyn and dylan at the scrapyard, it'd be emily and matt at the scrapyard ya feel me? the same events that happened in TQ will happen but theyre just. w/ the UD characters instead
and speaking of... ive posted / talked abt this briefly but i have SOOOO many ideas for a UD / TQ situation swap AU... meaning the UD guys are in a TQ environment... and oh man do i have a ton of imo HELLA COOL AND EPIC ideas for it... i just gotta flesh things out more thoroughly and come up w/ "chapters" i suppose. ive got giant general ideas and some already solidified scenes but. thats kind of it. im super excited to work more on it though. it is my Child

i was REAAAAALLLY into life is strange in the fall of 2021... hold on post on hold i can't believe its coming up to 2 years since i first watched my friend stream it. fuuuuuuuck. anyway. i had this life is strange in the fire emblem three houses universe AU gdgjnf like. the LIS charas were in FE3H and were in the diff houses and stuff. i didnt have too much of it fleshed out but i had this idea for rachel and max with rachel basically taking the role of sothis and oiiuggh i still love the idea so much
also had a danganronpa in a fire emblem three houses universe and vice versa... and for these i had more ideas for the DR in the FE3H universe AU for some reason. i think coming up w/ classes and backstory was easier for me idk. i remember having this whole thing written out.... i actually have a whole doc if anyonne is interested.... its real old and bad though so i probably wont share it publicly but 🤷 we'll see. came up w/ most of the ultimates / talents for the FE3H guys... didnt come up w/ much more than that however. i think coming up w/ whos gonna kill who + motives + murder details was too much for me to handle. hence why i dont have tooooo much w/ this AU. i really do want to go back to these one day though

i dont draw her with any primarily due to laziness and it would be too much to remember to put on given i forget to draw her with clothes 80% of the time in my notes. but in my mind i do like some of the tattoos from the game but like only parts of them. i like this part of a body tattoo from the game
but only this part and itd probably be on her upper back/lower back.
or this one i like but only the back/shoulder parts of this body tattoo i do not like the blackout chunks from the front of this one
itd be one or the other in this case. ive contemplated my v getting a type of tattoo that interconnects/plays with scars on the body in a more story related way but i can't quite think of what she would chose to do with that yet, if at all. piercing wise probably not, maybe a brow piercing.

the more mundane things ive not thought about alot tbh. growing up in heywood and also me taking a smthn from the dlc files ive seen so far i think shed enjoy casual sports/street sports like basketball or soccer or smthn else. given a line v can say to takemura about hopping across buildings maybe even parkour in a not merc work focused way. as for something shed want to do but never had the time probably playing an instrument which like thats fun material for her n johnny but maybe seeing street players there was always a background 'oh i wish'/'that seems cool' but life in nc and all that entails isnt much conducive to that. maybe more wanting to play or sing stuff for/with judy too. and dancing maybe. not necesarrily like club dancing but cheesy old school like ballroom/partner dancing.

i think the game kinda mishandled/misunderstood how multilingual a southern central californian city would be in the year 2077 and maybe thats a consequence of the game being made in poland, but like anyone who grows up there if they werent fully bilingual in spanish/english would at least be passibly conversible in either language. translation sofware aside. so i imagine my v would be, even if its a case of understanding more than one can speak, or able to hold conversations with storeowners but not necesarrily have a philosophical convo w/ someone in the 2nd language. id imagine people growing up there would know/understand beyond just hello/thank you stuff from japanese or even mandarin given city wide announcements happen in game in those languages.

roland as adrion .. i think i might cry. it'd be a really interesting swap considering adrion's forgiving/subservient nature contrasting with roland's harsher, more bitter one. we've seen roland hold grudges before and that was only regarding terrence leaving them to fight on their own against a fakejoker, so itd be definitely different seeing his reaction to sera's whole incident[s].
evil rei oh my god *keels over and dies*. the idea of ice claws is so cool- especially since he's based on some cooler tones [teal hair, bluey grey x-static costume] it works as a good contrast to volcan's fire.
vaughn and keon switching makes a lot of sense too [since theyre both super shady]. i do agree that while having to swap abilities might be unfortunate, it's pretty pertinent to the plot so it makes sense!
im thinking, is it keene and doc who switch? or maybe doc and kayden. since keene isnt super plot relevant? originally i thought leilah, but im pretty sure she swapped with william :]
also! for some reason, the idea of elaine digging up dirt and isen totally at remi's whim is the funniest thing to me because it's so odd yet so already in character for them. i picture elaine to dig up dirt cause she likes making fun of people secretely [with cecile]-- elaine and cecile are unironically such a great duo in this though -v-
heyaaa, so sorry for the late reply spex :( yea i think roland would be a little harsher towards sera and would have a harder time forgiving her compared to adrion but i think they’d at least be on good terms (especially after the u-mart incident) before sera returns to wellston. he’d show his resentment way more when they were in new bostin though, with evie being the one to go easier on sera because she didn’t want to lose her first friend.

tbh i was thinking of doc and kayden but it can change anytime if a more suitable character appears. if they were to switch, i think kayden would be a newly graduated nurse and darren would be a chemist who’s been working with william in spectre for a long time. kayden has to get involved with spectre some way through william tho, so i think he’d be william’s student/mentee or something? i also thought about going with the original storyline and making them date but kayden and william’s age gap and jane’s role being so ambiguous make things complicated. i’d probably switch kayden and doc’s ages if i were to go with that but i think the first case with kayden being william’s student works kinda better?? i’m a little unsure about this part so i guess i’ll have a more clear idea about them as the story progresses. oh and keene’s swap is probably nadia :) (the lie detector lady)
heheh yes isen and elaine’s swap is so funny to me too. isen just does everything remi asks of him and tries to flirt with her whenever an opportunity arises but remi ignores his attempts completely. i always imagined that she’d ask for sera’s old records from isen because he’s very good at this stuff but wants elaine to question her (idk why i just want that interview scene between them!). but what you said makes so much sense too, considering elaine looks down upon people a lot so she’d probably secretly make fun of people. i think in both ways, that scene would be a good insight on elaine’s character, revealing her prejudiced side. and yea, i love the cecile-elaine duo a lot here, they’re a little less mischievous than blysen (mostly due to elaine’s calmer personality) but they still care about each other sm :>

When i was little, my dad used to keep a cool plane model in our mansion. I always wanted to play with it, but I was very scared because I didnt know if i was allowed to touch it. So we kept it behind the glass. i would stand there and stare at it until my dad decided to throw it away. I never truly was sure if i could touch it or not but I felt really sad that I never got the chance to play with it, when it was right in front of me. I was afraid id break it, but in the end, my dad broke it anyway.

Ok so the first idea which ive admittedly had for awhile
Is making videos based off of the Gregaverse Creators Shinanigians series
Little edit like things where the comic is the same nothings changed except for instead of a comic its a little video
However i have 21 left to do and there are 25 in total so doing them all will take a bit of work but i think i can manage(somewhat)
They could be dubbed or i could just add music and sound effects to the video w/ the regular text bubbles showing up w/ no dub
I like the dubbed idea better but then again for any of this to work i need every creator includes consent so thats why i didnt wanna talk abt this one

The comissions would mainly be writing though as im still working on my art skills
I dont think theyre good enough for professional comissions so id prolly have the main focus on writing and stories
However i did have the idea of including added pictures
Such as you commissioned a base story of 5 chapters and decide “yk i rlly want an art peice abt this spesific part”
You could ask and pay for it!!
It be maybe 10-15USD per picture bc i plan on making this pictures extremely detailed

Hey Sylenth! I've been following you for a long time and practically look up to you as an artist role model🤗 the way you draw traditionally and enhance it practically shows to me that its possible to create art as visually appealing as yours. Anyways I came here to ask a question that I cant really figure out on my own. I saw you show the different ink washes and I know you use them in your pieces, it's been something I've always wanted to try and just dont know how to do it. If it's not to much to ask, could you share how you do it and what supplies you use? Itd be greatly appreciated but I understand if you dont want to. Thanks in advance!🥰

I prefer to work with ink in a "slow, but safe" way: I start coloring from the lightest shade, gradually building up the tone with layering. I think this video with Shin pretty much covers it. I'm just more careful when it comes to bigger pieces, but overall process is the same. The only exception is when I want to use wet on wet technique for some cool chromatography effects like these:
In that case I fill in those places first, so that these water pools don't disturb already shaded areas AND so I can throw away redraw the piece right away if something goes wrong.
💠 As for art materials - I prefer using inks that are safe for fountain pens, so I mostly use Diamine inks for drawing. They're affordable, mix really well and have a lot of gorgeous colors available. I also have several bottles of Sailor inks and recently I've discovered some really cool chinese manufacturers like Carpink and Penbbs (the ink on the photo above is Carpink's Foggy City, for example). The thing I like the most about inks is the chromatography some of them have - I'm in love with how all those dyes separate and become visible when applied to wet surfaces. If you never tried it before, I think I can recommend to start with Diamine Earl Grey - it's a purplish grey color which dissolves beautifully into pink and blue. This ink is pretty easy to buy and fun to play around with.
💠 I've written about the paper I use in detail here, so you can check this post, if you're interested. Basically if the paper is good for watercolor, it'll be good for inks too (if we're talking about ink washes specifically ofc). Oh, and since then I've also started to draw on a transparent tracing paper sometimes! I drew Ada and half of (N)O14 on it. I like how it makes ink transitions look very soft and a little blurry; it's kinda hard to work on compared to a normal paper though.
💠 My favorite brushes to use are Art Secret sable travel brushes, I use them all the time for everything. You can see it in the video with Shin and pretty much on every Inktober 2019 photo since I bought them. I try some other brushes from time to time, but these are still the best for me.
💠 And finally, for lineart I mostly use gel pens, dip pen and a small brush. If I'm doing lineart with inks, I either use the waterproof ones (like Higgins Black Magic or Sailor Kiwaguro) or do the lineart after finishing the ink wash.
💠 Oh and one more thing! I highly recommend to get a ceramic or a porcelain palette, or even to use a plain white dinner plate (yeah, I'm serious, I bought all my smaller "palettes" in a houseware store). It's SO much easier to work with than a plastic one! The paint doesn't shrink into tiny drops, you can always see what color you're using, it stays moist longer and the surface doesn't stain at all, you can wipe it with a tissue and it's as good as new.

so i watched cobra kai all in two days and i have so many -
this show has so many cool and smart angles to it, but the same time.... its so stupid oh my god everyone is so dumb literally mr miyagi held all of the braincells in this whole universe
like i am but at the same time i am not surprised it was made like this, bc in hindsight of course there were hordes of ppl simping over johnny lawrence .... but it still amuses me that this is like... an Actual Official Thing

how much fun this cast has is super visible and i love it
i rly enjoy how the world was expanded ! i did grow up watching the karate kid movies, so watching how they progressed the world of the movies so organically was pretty cool. it rly feels like its the same universe
i fucking LOVE stories that are largely about a Thing. dancing ,skating, sports its just so thrilling to experience this all consuming relationship people can have with this type of activity? and martial arts are just that much more intense, so yeah, grown ass men kicking each other around at the lightest provocation and a war veteran caring so much abt teen karate is Ridiculous.... but i love it all because thats the intensity i find so thrilling
was kinda surprised with how much im missing mr. miyagi. first because, like everyone is so unhinged jesus christo, it just really throws into relief how much his character grounded the narrative of the movies. but also hes just a really great character
and on that note it rly Gets Me that the show itself aknowledges that and plays that into daniels angst and all the little ways they sorta weave myiagisms into the whole show........ im not getting emotional over this dumb karate dads show OK

they really went down the down and out johnny lawrence route huh. like i was always kinda bummed we see kreese choking him and then we never see him again in the movies, and while i love dumpster fire problematic trash himbo ck johnny, its like......................... actually really sad that his life turned out like this fjngn
everytime i hear ‘babes’ and ‘pussy’ i die a little inside. i know thats the point but i am a v cringe easy person, have mercy (ehe)
loved the way they are constantly drawing parallels between johnny and mr. myiagi of all people. hes the handy man of his building that has a bullied kid asking for help and eventually steps up to teach them karate, beats up a bunch of bullies for him, creates a friendship with said kid, estranged from family, drinks his sorrows away, surprisingly one of the least quick to anger characters (which says more about everyone else really but.... Well.), no schemes or ulterior motives hes just tryna vibe here.... oh and ofc magically heals miguel of is asthma apparently. the true disciple.. meanwhile daniel is his usual messy petty self even tho he wants to be mr myiagi so bad
also interesting about that is how miguels character is a parallel of both johnny and daniel at the same time
overall the parallels in ck are done really well, drawing comparisons and also subverting them constantly. theyre well thought out
THE PARALELOGRAMS
fr tho, the angle being explicitly the cycle of trauma and its effects and how trumatized adults in turn traumatize kids, maliciously or not, is so interesting
but! on the flip side of that, it feels like the writers are getting in their own way @ letting the characters grow. especially this last season. theres only so many times you can do "johnny and daniel are getting along but 5mins later they are (literally) fighting over some dumbass random issue" or "johnny puts in 20% of effort with robby and then gives up" before it gets on your nerves yknow?
i see daniel no longer talks like macchio ingested 15 shots of espresso before every take and idk how to feel about that tbh
interesting tension in daniel, as in, in tkk mr miyagi was there and daniel was frankly, kind of a lil shit, this messy petty spitfire hot tempered sassy kid,(johnny lawrence voice: just... stop being so annoying) but now hes the adult, and he wants to be mr. miyagi... but hes just not, and never will be to his very core and it shakes him and in a way hes trying to find who he is now that he sees himself in a position to be a not! cobra kai figure. i kinda really like that
plus how that relates to his cobra kai trauma. idk if the writers thought abt it Like That, i think so, but in any case, its interesting bc it seems like daniel has told everyone whod listen about johnny lawrence his Pretty Boy Karate Rival and high school and 84 cobra kai... But. no one seems to know what went on in 85 (or 86? idk) which was just so much worse
like ye og cobras were shitheads, but tkk iii is just two hours of daniel being emotionally and physically tortured.
like, the third movie is.............chaotic, to put it nicely, and many people ignore it, but the writers clearly didnt. daniels actions are, in a way, responding so much more to the events of tkk iii than to the first movie ie. johnny himself, AND. daniel doesnt rly seem to have dealt with that trauma? he never told sam? doesnt feel like hes ever told amanda? he doesnt even say terrys name out loud? freaks Out over kreese ? the way he reacts to robbys deceit? his FACE when he walks past the new "fear does not exist in this dojo" paint or kreeses photo? hmMm i sense Pain
his fashion tho........... disappointing. where are the flower shirts daniel huh we had one (1) shirt what a tragedy STOP WEARING SUITS ALL THE TIME . also the band ts/grunge bi are a look for johnny but part of me longs for the preppy lovable 80s bully chic johnny lawrence getups
weird that they never used that last moment of karate kid where johnny kinda... snaps out of his anger and hands daniel the trophy almost in tears. like “youre alright larusso, good match” “thanks a lot” that being their last direct interection seems like itd be perfect fruit for cobra kai but... they just dont. weird.
especially when, the FIRST SCENE they see each other, suposedly in 30+ years, the first thing to come out of daniels mouth is QUOTE "u still got those golden locks huh?" WHO SAYS SHIT LIKE THAT DANIEL FUCKING SAN
also amandas immediate reaction "your pretty boy rival?" like. can we talk about the fact that daniel had to have imparted to his wife the very important information that his high school bully/karate rival was like Really Cute and Fucking Hot Actually

Ever since BNHA came out i was already a huge fan and also studying how to draw (chibi style level -1) and so i drew her and her twin brother (but now i just made him her 1 year older brother because i hace too many twin ocs🤧) and i cant find the very first drawing i did of them but i still remember very clearly what outfit i drew them in, and it was very different from their outfit lol
I cant show you my rough sketch of what her outfit looks like currently, but I'll DM them to you:) her name is Mai Amanogawa (hero name; white hood/huntsman i cant decide) and her quirl is Psevdaísthisikinesis (which is basically the ability to create illusions and use them against another person physically, despite it being only an illusion object like a gun or something the person used against it will feel, hear, taste, die from it)
Back then i shipped her with kirishima but then as time goes on i shipped her with katsuki, now i ship her with tamaki lol
Her mom left her and her brother for 'reasons' in the care of her aunt, her and Todoroki are basically childhood friends and looks up greatly to Endeavor and sees him as a fatherly figure (her mom and endeavor are childhood friends and are very close)
To sum up her personality, she's basically a female version of Mirio and instead, looks up to Endeavor
Did i mention she's from a long line of Yakuza? Yeah, her great grandparents are notorious Yakuza that has plenty bases all over the world

i think that her name and hero names are beautiful! whichever you decide is up to you, since they both seem to fit. id personally go with “white hood” as its more memorable.
now, i think her quirk is really, really cool! what i suggest, is changing her quirk name, however. it was absolutely awful to read (no offense—it just took forever) as someone whos just not great at reading and has a very hard time with long passages/words (they get mixed up and i cant comprehend them as quickly idk why but anyway) it was very, very hard to read. i suggest changing her quirk name to something simple.
now, i understand if youd want to keep that her quirk name due to it meaning something special, etc., but still keep in mind ist extremely hard to read and i dont even know where to begin on pronouncing it.
also, her quirk seems very powerful (not necessarily a bad thing) but she sounds like a mary sue character. i think itd make her more balance to add drawbacks/limits to her quirk. one thing i always keep in mind is that the more powerful the quirk is, the more likely itll be that they have more severe drawbacks that theyll have to accommodate for (like the fact midoriya breaks his bones when using his quirk, if todoroki uses his ice too much his body temperature will drop, etc.)
i like mirio as a character, and i think its cool that shes lile him! however, im not sure how i stand with her looking up to endeavor. if you like endeavor, im not bashing you—youre subject to liking whoever—but endeavor just isnt a good person. like yes, hes a hero he does good but that doesnt mean he is good. he only had his children in hopes of a strong child, i think that says enough
so if mai sees him as a fatherly figure (which is fine) id at least expect some toxicity/bad character traits on her part since thats where shed learn it from. remember, nuture vs nature. it might be her nature to want to be good and a hero, but if endeavor is her father figure shes most likely going to be like him, and thats not a great thing.
your oc sounds great! but there are still many improvements i think you could make :) if youd want to hear one of my ocs (ive spent two years on her) let me know and ill tell you!
keep in mind, it takes practice to create a balanced character. you arent always going to make outstanding, amazing characters but thats perfectly okay. but you should always strive to make balanced and realistic characters. it takes practice and hard work though, and the ability to want to make them balanced. (characters with flaws are much more fun to read than characters with no flaws)

Oh oh!! Dude i have so many!! One of them is a movie weekend!!! Me and cam already each have a list of movies we wanna watch together jdhsbdhdns. Also also! I wanna make stuff together like i could make spaghetti or smtn and they could bake smtn! And also alot of cuddling

Ah! A debut is like a big celebration for girls when they turn 18 in the Philippines! (´∀`) + I reallyy liked ill give you the sun!!! I read it without knowing anything about it so i was surprised to see the supernatural element and i liked it!! i really like reading about family dynamics and different relationships in general so i found it to be really interesting and entertaining! Oh boy! Nd like judes cherubs tattoo i didnt know what it was but like she said it reminded her of twins - Kao♡1/?

Like i searched it up and!!! We have that painting in our rooom!!! It kinda scared me when we were little when i was trying to sleep sjdj but i do associate it w twins especially bc we grew up w it! Crazy!! But yeah when they stopped talking and sabotaged each other it made me so sad! And i cant imagine not talking to mich for a day! We always do! I really liked the characters and i think it managed to convey an important message on familial love and self improvement while still being super funny and cute at times too! I thought it was super cool how both perspectives had like diff things that were significant to them constantly sprinkled into the text for Noah his self portraits and Jude the bible passages!! Those were fun things to add! And I feel like every reader imagined Noahs self portraits really differently bc its just the title so it gives the reader creative freedom too! I think itd be really super cool if someone illustrated their take on his portraits!! oh yeah! Some questions! Did you prefer one perspective over the other? Favourite character? Were you satisfied with the open ending regarding Noah n Brian? I actually applied to a bookstore and they asked me to talk about a book i read recently in an email so last night I talked about this! I was so sad reading all the times they didn’t talk to each other :(( I love how you put that, that it conveys an important message while still being lighthearted. honeslty, thank you Jandy Nelson for the such unique writing, one of my fav things is that you can tell who’s perspective it is from a single sentence, she wrote differently for each of them and those additions were so great! I loved imagining the self portraits so much!! I guess i should tell you i have a blackboard wall in my room that i draw/write on and tbh most of it is from this book. I’m on my laptop rn but i’ll post pictures afterwards! I prefer Noah’s perspective! i just find it happier and all the romance and his beautiful mind ugh. and also it was my friend who showed me this book and her only words were “read this, you are Noah”. I relate to him a lot so i loved his perspective. As if my favourite character would be anyone other than Guillermo (sorry noah). Guillermo is precious and deserves all the happiness in the world i love him. I was really happy with Noah and Brian! ofc i’d have loved more kisses and cute stuff but them just coming out holding hands and the dad (BLESS HIS SOUL) was like “huh that makes sense” was wonderful. Noah and Brian are so close to my heart i can’t... And that’s so cool that you talked about this! ah that makes me so happy. Like this book is so close to me it’s amazing, I read it while I was kinda lost, questioning everything and sorting out all that icky gender stuff, and it just hit so hard. I read it mostly while on holiday in Paris (lovely city, not lovely time in my life) and it was maybe 1 am or sm and I was reading and the Brian and Noah kiss came out of nowhere and I broke down sobbing. ugh it’s my favourite book in the world and to be able to talk about it with you is amazing!! it makes me so happy :)) now you gotta get mich to read it hahhahaha i’m so glad you liked it. ily <3333
