Steve would be an absolute menace (pun intended) with the fake, clunky, plastic lightsabers that start being sold when the Star Wars prequels come out.
He doesn't get one for himself, he steals one of Eddie's or Dustin's and twirls it in his hand before he whacks someone with it. The only people free from his viscous lightsaber attacks are Max and Erica.
Yes, this does devolve into Steve, Eddie, and the Party having giant lightsaber battles in somebody's backyard. Eddie has Darth Maul's double-ended one and smacks himself in the face with it more than he hits anyone else.

Some grown-up Dreemurrs fashion!
#Frisk is 17 and Ree and Chara 21#had to check my references bc for the like of my i cant never remember their ages#I think my favorite outfit is frisks!#is the more simple of the three#but i had fun using the magenta. #arctic monkeys#alex turner#listen this was purely out of curiosity#there are so many poetic and imaginative ways in which alex describes love#i just wanted a tangible record of every time he just straight up uses the word#i was surprised that humbug only had one mention and even that was a b side but when i was making this i realised that it was such a#lyrically dense and innovative album and descriptions of love were more elaborate and straightforward#*less straightforward#(might make a separate post about that)#also found that the other albums were quite consistent except the car#i found it interesting that most of the songs aren’t actually about the same kind of love like the earlier albums were#the earlier ones use love as a nickname and portray the physical embodiment of being in love#and even in tbhc it describes this feeling despite there being slightly fewer mentions#but the car seems more like a goodbye album… not even about breaking up… just goodbye which is very….#there’s no room for love in amongst the melancholia and introspection#and makes me wonder about his relationship with love at the moment#it seems very disassociated and immaterial like he has no interest in spouting poetics about love like he did before#and i hope he can rebuild that relationship#i could probably say more but im not going to bc this is getting way too long#cheers if you actually read this whole fucking essay#i spent way too long on this if you cant tell

The very existence of the boy before him is a miracle in and of itself.
None of them understand the reason why Lilia acts the way he does, eyes constantly trailing after the fae prince and lurking behind him at a distance. None of those foolish students do, busy as they are with their trivial little tasks of learning magic, their four years spent at this paltry school flying by in the blink of a fae’s eye. Not even the prince’s companions — Baul’s supposed grandson, Lilia’s supposed… future son, and his own flighty, witless older self, senile and losing his mind — understand his strange compulsion, the attraction he feels towards the Draconia heir.
Simply put, Lilia has never expected for Malleus to even exist.
He’d been entrusted with the egg in a last ditch effort, forced to watch his closest companion, Meleanor herself, fly off into a fruitless battle that would surely spell her doom. Lilia had spent years after that — the years melding into decades, until a century had passed — curled around the egg, trying everything he could to ensure it hatched. But such a thing was impossible, he had believed; after all, the offspring of draconic fae could only ever hatch with an outpouring of love, wreathed in warm affection until its shell finally cracked.
That is, until Lilia had somehow wound up in the future, wound up here.
Even now, the sight of Malleus still steals his breath away. He resembles so much of his mother — the twisting horns, those striking chartreuse eyes, the raven gloss of his hair. Though he is calmer, quieter, with a more pensive disposition than his mother ever had, there are things that resemble an echo of his parentage: the rage that manifests itself in thunder and lightning; the undeniable power radiating off of them in waves, a strength of magic most could only dream of having; but most of all, the kindness they wield, whether sweet or cruel, hidden by a temperament that makes them unapproachable to most.
Can anyone really fault him then, for feeling most at ease around the young prince?
Lilia studies him whenever he’s able to, when the young prince goes for walks through the campus, or even when he approaches Lilia himself in his little woodland campsite. Though Malleus resembles Meleanor in so many ways, there are other aspects of him that are wholly unfamiliar to Lilia. Above all else, there is his unwavering trust in humanity, a belief in the better facets of them that Meleanor never shared. It is a peculiarity that Lilia’s older self also wields — and he had been stunned when Malleus had informed him that it was he, himself, who taught him to seek peace with mankind.
Even now, it still feels like an impossibility to wrap his head around.
And yet…
The more time he spends with Malleus, conversing in a tranquil silence, listening as he regales Lilia with numerous tales — of his long, lonely childhood, of the years that Baul’s grandson and his supposed future son spent growing up, of the three short years spent at Night Raven College — the more Lilia thinks he can understand his older self.
It’s something for him to think about, at least, when he finally makes it back to his time.

#persona 4#p4#persona 4 golden#p4g#hanamura yosuke#yosuke hanamura#souyo#this was an interesting scene for a lot of reasons#for context naoto goes out to take a breather and yu follows with yosuke following behind yu.#yosuke cracks a joke to lighten the mood (something i've already talked about a lot is making jokes is yosuke's fall back to raise morale)#there's 3 things happening here - yosuke opts to go outside with yu to cheer yu up instead of staying in to cheer up the rest of the team#so it kind of implicitly suggests that like it or not yosuke kind of still prioritises yu - that yu is the first person yosuke looks to#but it also comes closely at the heels of that moment in the hospital room with namatame and i think this is very much a scene where#yosuke is testing the waters with his r/s with yu like “hey we're good right” by making a joke so that things btwn them feel normal again#and finally it's something that i don't think even yosuke himself realises - HE is the catalyst to yu's realisation on who the culprit is#yosuke's comment that “the fog's so thick the snow gets lost in it” is reminiscent of the english saying “to hide a tree use a forest”#at least for me anyway - snow and fog are both forms of water that come about during low temperatures#but it's right after this comment that yu made the connection that the culprit was someone else that could hide in the crowd#by blending in in a different manner to namatame#namatame was not noticed because he was a delivery driver and that was a mundane everyday figure#but adachi blended in by being one of many police officers that were present in inaba - in other words the tree in the forest#without realising it yosuke has come in clutch to support yu again - i'm fascinated that it wasn't naoto that deduces it#despite being THE detective and being in this scene#it's the combined work of yosuke and yu#and that they really are better with each other#he's good with his queue

Bad news.
I just heard one of my Grandpa's in the hospital, his heart stopped during his back surgery and they did emergency operation to start it again. I don't know if he is going to make it.
