In rewatching the season, I'm noticing how clever Aabria and Brennan were in crafting Tula's story. How well thought out everything was.
Specifically, the bear. It's been mentioned so many times before, but with the context of the completed season, I cannot help but be in awe at the skilful storytelling at display here. The way in which the Blue is described to appear wrong only in reference to Tula and her heart, the way in which Tula talks about curiosity and and having experienced knowing someone who died because of it. Of how Aabria describes to Izzy how Tula looks when she heals the bear, of how Aabria specifically points out that Tula recognises the commonalities between herself and the bear. These breadcrumbs that mean little in the beginning, that tell everything at the end. It's amazing, stunning, masterful storytelling. I am in awe.

Gonna get spicy for a second and say that everyone loves spewing hate about narcissistic (NPD) parents and how awful parents with personality disorders are, but if someone were to make a post with the exact same cadence about ADHD parents they'd get shot in public at first sight
#rambling#Lemme clarify and extend my point here (cos I feel ppl could really misinterpret this one)#Am I saying people should just accept the abuse of parents if said parents have a personality disorder? No#Am I saying people with ADHD parents have it worse or that both experiences are comparable and exactly the same? No#What I'm saying is that ppl are much more eager to call out abusive or neglectful behaviour from ppl w personality disorders bc#they're seen as 'scary' or 'monstrous' and inherently evil so they have no qualms going full force at it. They think -pd ppl are the devil#But adhd in ppl's general views could never be the source of such pain from a parent to a child; ADHD ppl are seen as childish#and harmless and clueless and silly and tbh a bit stupid. Besides they could never hurt a 'monster' by jumping the gun at -pd ppl right?#'normal people don't have personality disorders so this can't affect me! But normal people can have adhd!'#That's the core of my complaint: one is dehumanised as a destructive monster; the other is as an innocent victim child#And both (parent w -pd & w adhd) can be pretty bad in their own uniqie ways! But such a thing is never considered - for the#societal construct of the child - that neurodivergencies get pushed into - is of an untainted pure inherently clueless being below human#From my exp and the exp of other friends lemme say: having an adhd parent can suck so much ass! Lol#I grew up with two opposing ideals troubling my mind: my mothers obvious overwhelming love; and the shadow her constant absence cast#She loved me so much and did as much as she could; but constantly forgot about my care and my needs and made rash choices#I think about that more and more as i age; especially as i go to doctors over and over for problems i have had since forever#It is an awful feeling to have sink in your heart: how a parent's love isn't enough; how 'maturing quick' isn't a blessing but a curse#As i grew i stopped telling my mom about my needs my school things and my life bc i got used to her forgetfulness and lack of organisation#It meant irregular eating schedules & inadequate meals. In 5th grade I'd eat table scraps at school cos my mom couldn't remember#how I'd tell her over and over that the food had to be in a specific way or it'd get burnt in the school's oven#I'd go to the 'first' dr appointment to deal w an ongoing problem & then she'd forget to schedule the following ones#You get the idea#Kind of a weird post w a strange framing device but I've been thinking about it a lot lately. Smth triggered this thought last night#I'll also never forget a few months ago when i went go a specialist for my hEDS - told her I've known all my life but never got treatment#Also just. The crushing feeling of the dr saying ''you should've gotten your own med team to work ur case since u were young!'#And just. silently nodding & wanting to cry feeling validated but also so hurt looking @ the obvious neglect#Anyways hey how did this therapy session go Doctor

Even though I know I’m making the right choice deferring next year to try uni again later, god I do I feel fucking awful about it and I’m dreading every moment going forward
#can I keep doing deadlines? no#can I keep living alone? no#is this even going to be forever? nah like a year minimum#do I feel awful about it and like I’ve failed life? yes#I’m also really sad I won’t go back and have the same class. Bar one person I really liked everyone :(#but I am just getting worst and worst right now I need a mental health break so bad#idk I put so much of my life into uni as an escape from home life#and in the end I couldn’t handle it going from the all the shit that happened in 2021#tbh this is a pattern for me I saw it coming. But I chose to go ahead with last year knowing if I did it this year I’d be too lonely#I don’t regret going last year btw I met so many cool people and I know for a fact now that I definitely want to live full time out my town#I just regret that I can’t be there this year#/tw vent

Hella frustrating I'm putting in hours and days of extra work to do what other people do in so much less. -.- without the anxiety of upsetting others and without just flat out getting unfocused and unable to focus and not even able to do anything to enjoy (but I got strategies for that too! A long list of hobbies I like I cycle through so if I lose ability to click with anything at least it only lasts 3 weeks or less now)
I just. Is that treatment for adhd anyway...? You just do ur coping skills like all the extra writing and notes and reminders and calendar alarms and extra hours to plan for how long it will take you Extra. Am I already doing all that can be done :c

Shifting Diary - 1 (11/12/23)
Thought I'd start one of these. Not starting off at the absolute best point in time, I must admit, but... Here we go.
(Below the cut so it's not hell to scroll through.)
Put on a shifting subliminal last night (2am this morning) and just... Fell asleep to it. Didn't try any methods or anything. Just focused on passing out.
Then, since I was slightly stressed this morning, I ended up actively attempting to shift again for... Maybe a few hours? I was in and out of sleep and those hours included maybe three attempts? Two and a half?
I can't say I was particularly focused. I was partly trying to shift to my usual DR and partly just trying to shift to a version of my CR that's not as... Hectic, I suppose?
I was laying there counting and affirming and staring at the backs of my eyelids. Nothing special. Theoretically you could say 'oh Julia method' or 'oh Raven method' or whatever in terms of general structure, but it has been a long while since I've simply done a method I found online. It's been 'random bullshit go' for months at this point.
I switched between three subliminals as I went from one attempt to the next, sort of going off vibes, mostly to block out the noise in my CR. However, I did notice that when listening to them, I would fall into this... Slightly dizzy state for a little while. I had my eyes shut and it felt like the world around me was gently spinning.
Could've been my awful sleep schedule catching up with me, to be fair. Did not sleep for long enough.
There were also points where my awareness of various parts of my body would change. Obviously, limbs going numb, which is what typically happens when you haven't moved in a while. There was a point where I was awfully aware of specifically my fingertips, specifically of my left hand, against the mattress, so much so to where it was difficult to think of anything else, while the rest of my hand was almost completely numb. Not had that one happen before, I do admit.
There were a few points where I lost focus on my body entirely but I have no idea how aware I was at those points. I think I might be remembering instances right before falling briefly asleep - which is a testament to my tiredness because I only fall asleep on my back when completely sleep deprived.
I've also been trying to focus more on the backs of my eyelids when I do actively attempt to shift. I don't get much in the way of impressions or images - especially today, since I could see the light from outside dimming and brightening because it was fucking morning lmao - but I do get ever so slightly brighter patches against whatever the brightness of the general backdrop is, quite blurry and indistinct but still clear enough to be able to intuitively link what I'm seeing to a specific concept without thinking about it. They fade in and out quite a bit.
There was a point where it felt like I was seeing the light from behind a door - as in, the door was open a crack and I could see the light through that crack. I unfortunately got a bit too eager and tried to mentally reach out, completely reflexively, to open the door wider, which made the entire thing fade. Need to focus on just observing rather than trying to interact whenever anything even mildly interesting happens.
My main takeaway is mostly to let myself watch rather than act. As much as the impressions are... Impressions - not necessarily linked to shifting - I do feel like entertaining whatever my mind happens to bring up once I'm in a relaxed state can't do me any harm.
And breathing exercises are fucking great. 4-3-5 and 7-6-8 both completely calm me down after a little while. From there, it is finding something to keep my focus on that doesn't drag me back into my CR, which is affirmations or visualising (sight and sound only, thanks) or daydreaming, or some combination thereof. Obviously since I was semi-panicking today wasn't a particularly engaged experience lmao, but hopefully that all gets sorted by tonight and I can either take a rest day or have an attempt unencumbered by whatever the fuck is happening in my CR.
#spending probably years of my life just daydreaming at this point makes the whole 'oh just observe don't interact thing' heinously difficult#also makes visualisation difficult - when i am 'listening' to someone move around the space i'm in#i end up 'watching' them in 3rd person. because i'm so used to omniscient 3rd person when daydreaming#really hard to have someone sit downstairs in a visualisation reading. i keep imagining what book they're reading and all that#when i would have no way of knowing lmao#completely drags me out of it#also doomed to forever want to go first person as the person who's the most active in the scenario#rather than keeping to my dr self lmao#on a similar note - trying to include touch? mate - whenever i try to feel a physical sensation in my lil scenario#i get yoinked back into my cr body lmao#it's sight and sound and that's honestly all i can do for ya. sense of smell's always been awful#taste functions similarly to physical sensation - 'welcome back to your cr you clown'#and touch. already mentioned and explained#i think i try too hard with the sense of touch tbh. that's the issue#i have Rambled in these notes woops. most of this is entirely unrelated to the post lmao#shifting realities#shiftblr#reality shifting#reality shifter#[𝓇𝒶𝓂𝒷𝓁𝒾𝓃𝑔 - 𝓈𝒽𝒾𝒻𝓉𝒾𝓃𝑔 𝒹𝒾𝒶𝓇𝓎]

I’ve been in the shifting community since 2016. I know it’s been forever! I first learned about shifting from occult and witch forums and I’ve been obsessed ever since. But till recently, I’ve only ever been able to mini shift! That's changed now :D!
I used your reverse psychology technique and just like you said, whenever I imagined my desired reality (dr), I would be like, "ugh not again, I just wanna wake up here". My 3D life is stressful and filled with anxiety, so whenever I would think about my life, I’d pretend I was happy to go back, even though deep inside, I wanted to escape.
I'm in the medical field because of my parents and I hate it. I used to cry every day, but using this technique helped with that too. I gaslit myself into thinking I actually preferred my awful life than shifting!!
I practiced the technique for about 2.5 days and also used a quantum jumping meditation I bought from Tumblr. Then, I shifted to a reality where my room walls was pink instead of purple, and in that reality, I’m the master of the void and shifting.
Here's another tip: shift somewhere with a small difference, like your laptop is silver instead of rose gold, and script that reality like your dr.
I scripted my birthday, my appearance, how my room looks, but the only thing is I scripted myself as the master of the void and shifting! So that’s what I did and when I saw my new room color, I didn’t even waste time and I entered the void just by thinking abt it.
I had a whole ass list. Everything changed from spirituality to the color of my hair! I have the same desires as everyone tbh being hot, popular, wealthy, smart. I changed my major and woke up in an apartment away from my annoying parents. Obviously a great life but I saved fame and billionaire status for my other drs but I am more than blessed as it is now!
I also spent the whole night shifting and I love the concept of waiting rooms, but I call it my pocket dimension, where I use to rest between shifts so I can shift for 10 years if I wanted and it would only translate to overnight in this reality. Also everyone including myself is immortal in my wr I’m gonna love forever !!!!
Anyways, not much to say, I don’t want this to be too long! But shifting and the void is real! The law is real and it’s sooo worth it. I already forgot how much I hated my life and it hasn’t even been that long.

Sunghoon could no longer remember a time when he had woken up without you in his arms. The steady rhythm of your breath against his chest, the softness of your hair tickling his chin - they were sensations that had been etched in his mind and skin, forever remembered.
Sunlight gently streamed through the curtains, casting a soft light on your sleeping face. Sunghoon stared in awe.
He could trace the outline of your face with his eyes closed. Every curve, every dip, every single freckle and imperfection was etched into his memory like a beautiful masterpiece. He marvelled at the way your lips slightly parted as you dreamed, and the way your eyelashes delicately brushed against your cheeks.
The warmth of your body against his was a comfort beyond any he had ever felt before. It was as if the universe had conspired to create this perfect moment, where time stood still and nothing else mattered except you and him.

“Your romantic.” He said cheesily, wrapped his arms around you. His voice got lower and more serious as his hands unconsciously played with your hair. “I really am so lucky to have you.”
Sunghoon’s words washed over you and a surge of warmth and love enveloped your heart. You tilted your head slightly, gazing up into his eyes, and a tender smile graced your lips. "And I am equally lucky to have you," you whispered, your voice filled with sincerity.
Sunghoon's fingers continued to weave through your hair, his touch sending soothing shivers down your spine. It was a simple gesture, but one that spoke volumes about his affection and care for you.
In that serene moment, you found solace in Sunghoon’s arms. The world slipped away leaving nothing and no one besides the two of you in it, left alone in your cocoon of love and happiness.
“You have this incredible way of making me feel special.” You murmured.
His voice was barely above a whisper when he replied. “You are special,” He took your chin in his hands, pulling your face closer to give your lips a chaste kiss. The feeling of his lips on yours made you melt, a contented sigh escaping you as he pulled apart. “To me, you’re the most special person in the world.”
You knew he wasn’t lying. Sunghoon was yours as much as you were his.
Silence settled between you two but it wasn’t an uncomfortable silence. The steady thump of two heartbeats beating together, your breathing synced and your souls connected - in his arms you were home.
In a few hours Sunghoon would get calls from Jungwon asking him why he was so late to practise. In a few hours your stomach would rumble, your need for food overpowering your sleep. In a few hours the world would knock at your door, your responsibilities for the day begging to be attended to. But for now, in this moment, you would forget it all.
For at this moment in the early hours of the morning, there was no one in the whole world besides you and Sunghoon.

Seventeen Fic Recs (September 2023)
Hello everyone! I wanted to make an official post to share some of my favourite Seventeen x Reader fics that I’ve read lately, or ones that have continued to stay on my mind. I guarantee I’m going to miss a bunch of them because there are so many talented people on this website, but I plan to make another one of these soon!
(Also, a side plug for my own fics here. I’ve finally gotten around to posting some of my writing, and hope to continue, so if you want to have a browse and reblog/message me your thoughts, please feel free!)
@wqnwoos first up, I wanted to shoutout Hana for all of her writing. I’m going to include some of my favourite recent drabbles, but I literally love all of them, so please go read everything over on her blog. A couple of my faves here, here, here, here and here.

so, i have to just take a moment and let y’all know how in absolute AWE i am because @ihni had my @bigbangharringrove fic turned into a BOOK!! a book!! 😭🤍 i still can’t wrap my head around the fact that someone would enjoy my fic so much that they’d have it printed into something they can put on a shelf and show off!
i’m beyond touched and feel so incredibly proud!! this is monumental tbh and i feel so honoured 🤍 ihni shared pics of the final product w me and i’d love to share them all w you 🥹
