I can think of two reasons why Danneel is doing CrossRoads con in March. The first is she’s going for the same reason Jensen is: they need the money. We know networks only pay for the first ~6 episodes of a season unless the show proves to be successful, and it’s up to the production company to find the rest of the funding. And we also know that CMP has struggled to get investors since the very beginning, and there’s no way TW is getting more network funding based on how things are going (41% audience loss by episode 2? Ouch) so it’s up to CMP to finance the rest of the episodes. Considering that the prequel is CMP’s only source of potential income, the Ackles have to open up their own wallets // Mommy Ackles wallet. And not only are they hemorrhaging money on the production company front, they don’t have enough money coming in to keep up their current lifestyle. Probably should have invested the money they were given in the CMP deal in the company instead of buying a fancy car, Colorado mansion (which they’re selling/sold), and a new face for Elta. Oh wait, they spared some money for Danneel to buy the rights to some books, what great business people. I do would trust Danneel to pick future IPs to work with🙄
The majority of Jensen’s work post SPN has been guest star roles and voiceover work. Amazon is known for paying it’s actors horribly, so The Boys was not a big pay day between that and his limited screen time over the course of a short, 8 episode long season. Rust was/is a small production with a budget that couldn’t even cover proper accommodations for their crew workers. Plus, Jensen was a last minute hire to replace the original actor, who I believe left after they already started filming, meaning their limited budget was drained further by reshoots. Both jobs (TB and Rust) were to boost his status after being on the CW for decades rather than paycheck picks. If his role in Buddy Games 2 is anything like the first movie, it’s a very short cameo that he probably got paid the bare minimum for. Big Sky is probably his best post-SPN paycheck, but it’s nowhere near what he was making on SPN and doesn’t have the longevity/guarantee that SPN did. And it’s about to be over because I’ve heard rumors his character leaves/dies this season. Voiceover work is at an all time low pay wise, so he’s not getting huge paychecks for his WB animated universe work. Certainly more than voice actors by trade due to his name and relationship with the network (which is BS, they’re the ones who deserve his pay), but again not SPN money. Radio Company only makes money on merch, because artists make pennies on streaming platforms and you need tour and merch income to make money. And that profit depends on how much of his own (let’s be real, it’s not Steve’s) money on studio time and other expenses. Notice how in order to win a guitar, you first had to buy merch. Which is illegal, but that’s going to need a separate anon lol. He has the brewery, but breweries are horrible investments (I worked in the restaurant industry for years and have many friends who work in or own breweries) because the overhead is so high, you’re lucky to break even. And the pandemic has all by destroyed the hospitality industry. If he didn’t get the deal that allows him to sell his beer in stores, the brewery would have gone under. Something he alluded to at a con recently (will try to find the video + time stamps). Jenneel love to buy and sell real estate and call themselves house flippers, but they def do that just to afford their next McMansion. They aren’t making income on their real estate ventures. Jensen could have investments/businesses that aren’t public knowledge, but he’s proven to be a very poor business man over the years so he’s probably doesn’t have the same passive income that Jared (a great businessman) has.
And not only does Danneel not work so she’s not bringing in any money, she’s a major drain on resources. They have two different mortgages/household expenses (Jensen’s condo and the house Danneel and the kids live in…though gossip is the new “family” house was a major downsize) on top of paying for the kids schooling, their nannies, and their housekeeper. Plus their vacations and summer spent traveling on Danneel’s part. Both Jensen and Elta get cosmetic work done which isn’t cheap, plus all of the money she spends on “looking pretty” (hair cut, color and extensions, esthetician/dermatologist visits) and they both spend a ridiculous amount of money on clothes. Everything about them screams living beyond their means to try to keep up appearances.
And if it’s not money that’s prompting Danneel to show her face at a con, it’s certainly not fans. The last con she did was back when FBBC first launched, and she interacted with no one at NOLA con last fall. They’ll give her the praise she desires all without having to leave her home, you’ve seen how long they milk “content” from her for and how she moves them to tears just because they know she’s breathing potentially near Jensen. I think she’s going to the con because the only time she gets to be with Jensen (or more importantly, seen with him) is for work engagements. She can’t prove she’s still Mrs. Ackles through her Instagram anymore, so she had to find another avenue. Very reminiscent of back in the day when she would show up where Jensen was to force them into going public after years of being just friends with benefits.
Sorry that got so long! I really thought it would be a quick one 🫠
Absolutely, Jensen has been living above his means for a long time and you explained everything perfectly. The house flipping is something people do as is taking out "loans" on properties they own to increase their income even more. I forget the exact real estate terminology but anyone can research this. Except the Ackles are bad at it and yes, they ended up downsizing big time.
Please never apologize for long posts, I enjoy reading them and it's impossible to truly explain something without writing quite extensively because there are many aspects to factor in. Thank you for having the patience to share, I deeply appreciate it. 🥰

Debute P3 Tips & P4 Privet Dance
Tumblr media
Media IRL
Character Thomas Brodie Sangster
Couple Tbs X Reader
Rating Smut
Series Debute
Smut Stripping / lamp dance / nudity
I changed into my negligee, my underwear and my heels fixing my make-up.
"Your up y/n," Peter told me as he walked through
"Alright alright I'm going" I sighed fixing my hair and heading out to the stage with my usual music, I didn't really think I just did what I know doing my dance and a few little tricks just doing my basic routine. The music was so loud it vibrated my feet, the scent in the air of sweat, beer, and sour unshowered men. Dry ice floated in the air, lights flashed and flickered, and drinks had been spilt on the stage making my heels sticky which is honestly one of the most frustrating parts of this job. People tipped throwing cash onto the stage floor and at me. I looked out as I was almost finished up my clothes mostly behind me by now trying desperately to keep them away from the sticky stage. For a moment as I did one of my pole tricks, I looked out beyond the lights of the stage, I was surrounded by the grim almost cartoon faces of men all far too close for comfort.
As strange as it was to say, and I suppose impossible to explain without a sociology degree, but even though I hated the thick smoke of the dry ice, I hated their faces, I felt degraded by having to sweep my earnings off a dirty floor after they had been thrown at my body. Some part of me still loved my job. Something about being on the stage even if it was to dance and remove my clothes, even though I hated their grim faces, their eyes... were like a drug I craved beyond all else.
The fact all I had to do was walk onto the stage and I silenced a room. The fact a twist of my hips, a kick of my leg, or a move of my arm would cause applause, hoots and hollers more so than any football game or movie trailer could produce. It made me feel like a star. like I got a rush of adrenaline and attention and as I looked out I smiled.
I saw the guy from outside whiskey in hand, he was smirking in his seat the same as I last saw him, as he watched me so I finished my dance blowing him a kiss before I headed back to the dressing room.
I gathered up my tips handing over peter his cut as always heading back to my mirror, "don't bother."
"What?"
"Privet dance room 2" Peter says as he wondered past
I chuckled a little "Let me guess, thin blonde guy with the whiskey?"
"Yeah?" how'd you know?"
"I just knew it" I laughed
"what he your boyfriend?" he asks
"No peter. Just a good guess"
"Whatever go on then head off when your done," he says
"Alright" I fixed my make-up and my hair changed into one of my tiny silk work dresses and headed through to room 2, the small room no bigger than two meters square with a sofa on the back wall, a small table for drinks with a small ashtray as peter did allow smoking in the private rooms given people had already paid for the privilege to be inside them before even paying for a girl to be in with them. His drink sat There on the table as did his cigarette I shut the door up and smiled "Nice seeing you again" I smiled
"No no pleasures all mine" he smiled taking my hand and giving it a sweet kiss "it's lovely to see much more of you" he smiled bringing his cigarette to his lips
"Did you enjoy the show?"
"I did. I didn't want it to end." He smirked leaning back and suggestively glancing at his lap I blushed a little but moved to his lap beginning his private dance the scent of his cigarette filled the room as well as his slightly leathery cologne the music from the main part of the club barely audible leaving us in a hushed quiet "can I touch you?" He whispered
"Gently" I responded
"I'll be gentle, princess" he Cooes gently stroking my waist as I dance "I never got your name?"
"Y/n, I never got yours either?" I smiled as I could tell as I danced he was hard for me
"Thomas. You're very beautiful. Far too beautiful for this job
"Your sweet"
"I just had to get a closer look at you" he smirked "without those stuffy clothes in the way" he smirked tugging on my dress "please?"
"Alright" I smiled getting up and slipped off my dress
"Fuuuck... you are beautiful princess" he Cooes as I climb back into his lap he takes his cigarette and offers it to me letting me smoke it between his fingers "do you...like this job?"
"It has its good days, and it's bad days"
"You like dancing?"
"Ummm, I like being on the stage"
"Humm having everyone watching you?' he smirked and I nodded "you like the attention? What if I told you I could get you far more attention then four drunk boys?"
"Go on?"
"I am looking... for a actress"
"An actress? What are you a producer or something?"
"Director actually"
"Really?"
"Really."
"Directed anything I'll have seen?"
"Well... I'm going to be a director."
"That's what I thought" I laughed going to move but he held my hips
"No, it's not like that. I've acted before, did a lot of it when I was younger. Now I want to direct. Me and a friend of mine have set up the company, got all the equipment and are planning on starting production of our directorial debut in a month or so" he explained "but we... are missing an actress"
"Well what's the movie about?" I giggled as I danced
"Well. It's about a young girl who is suffering from some really really bad insomnia"
"Ohh dear"
"And her boyfriend takes her mind of it and helps her get some rest"
"A short film?"
"Kinda. Would perhaps you be interested?"
"In what role?"
"Well, as director I could get you an audition for the hotel maid"
"A speaking role?"
"Definitely yes. A whole scene just for you"
"How much? Five hundred bucks a day plus royalties. And if your good you'll have a permanent place as one of our actresses" he smirked
"What would I have to do in the audition?"
"Hummm this. Get naked. Scream. And let us look at how fuckable you look princess. I'm sure you'll get the part. You've got my vote already" he smirked
"This movie? I'd need to be naked?"
"It's an... adult movie"
"It's porn?"
"Yes"
"Okay"
"Okay?" "An audition couldn't hurt" I smiled "Alright, I'll get it sorted" he smiled I finished up and began slipping by dress back on "You all down for the night or another dance?" "All done you where my last job" I smiled "Ohh then I'd love to buy you a drink?" "No thanks kinda wanna head home" "You mind If i walk you home? I could let you know a little more about the audition?" He smirked I admit I was nervous but he was cute and if he did really have a audition for me I couldn't really turn him down "Sure Thomas" I smiled

Things are getting serious, sweetheart.
You've been dating for quite some time and it's time to meet each other's families! Are you cool about it or almost shitting your pants? What about them? And are their any awkward moments?
Before you read this, I want you to know that deep deep down buried under years of resentment and trauma that I’m unpacking in therapy I do love my family….I think. 😂 😭
Tumblr media
Falling in love is amazing and I really love my boyfriend Maxwell Jacob Friedman. Some people will say that it’s to early to exchange I love yous after only dating for 5 months, but I loved him since I first saw him. There is just one problem with Max loving me back. He wants to see where I grew up and meet my family.
Max asks, then begs, than one day he ask “are you ashamed of me?” Him even thinking that for a second tears my heart until two. And I tell him I’m ashamed of where I grew up, but his eyes are so soft when he whispers “please.” So I relented the next time AEW is in my hometown state I will fly in with him. Than the day after the show we will drive to my childhood home.
The day of as the GPS estimated time gets closer, the towns get a little more run down and sketchier. He pulls in front of a beat up looking one floor house, with 3 junker cars in front of them.
“You can back out, if you want.” I hope he says okay, but Max gives me a kind smile before jumping out of the car.
My dad and mom are waiting for us at the door. Max shakes my dads hand and hands my mom a bouquet of flowers. The living room tv is still blasting whatever Movie TBS is playing, because even with company over the tv will not be turned off.
We sit no one talking in the living room for about 20 minutes while my mom is in the kitchen. My dad zoning out drinking his cranberry and crown royal. This is better though I purposely made Max promise not to start any type of conversation about news or what’s going on in the world. As my dad will pick whatever side your against and than tear into what you believe in. If you get upset or angry, he will act confused and say he was just “teasing.”
When my mom says lunch is ready, I thank god knowing that this little adventure is almost over. I bring Max into the kitchen where we and my mom sit and eat. My dad will have his lunch served to him in a chair while he complains about whatever my mom made. As if he ever cooked a meal for his family.
At least lunch isn’t too awkward, my mom makes a polite conversation asking my boyfriend getting to know you questions. Than my brother appears out of nowhere. He grabs a plate of food without saying anything. My brother is afraid to leave the house and talk to anyone new. He has terrible social anxiety and I have talked to Max about this in great detail before. But I notice that he gives Max a little head nod before leaving the kitchen and it makes my heart sore. I have brought 2 boys home before Max and my brother had never acknowledged either one.
By the time dessert is served, my mom is more than comfortable with my boyfriend. She puts her hands on his knee and ask how much he can lift. My mom somehow ends up rubbing Max shoulders while he eats store brought apple pie. This is her usual move before she tells my date that she would have stollen them away from me if we were the same age. And ask if he would like to see her senior yearbook so he could decide for himself.
I stand up and pull Max up with me. “We need to get going, but lunch was delicious.” I give my mom a hug and she turns to hug Max but I have already started pushing him into the living room. My dad starts to complain about how disgusting lunch was and wondering if my mom can do anything right instead of shaking Max’s hand that he is offering. I end up just grabbing it and pulling us out of the house.
The drive back to the hotel I am quiet. Not because I’m angry, that lunch went better than expected but because I am so embarrassed. I feel the tears building up in my eyes, and I can’t help but wonder if Max thinks less of me now. Than I feel Max’s hand on top of mine. He pulls my hand up to his lips and kisses the inside of my wrist. “I’m proud of you doll. And I love you with all my heart.” ……..
Max is like a little boy when AEW is in Long Island. He is so excited and counting down the days. Not only does he insist I come with him, but that we stay at his parents house.
I say yes, but inside every time
I think about this little trip I feel like shitting bricks. I pack my nicest clothes and bring a nice and very expensive box of chocolates and bottle of wine as a thank you gift to his parents for hosting me.
I knew Max grew up “comfortable,” that’s how he explained it to me. When we enter his neighborhood and than pull up in front of house, I learn comfortable is the rich people way of saying we got money…and a lot of it. His parents are at the door and they wrap Max up in big hugs and tell him how much they missed him. Than they turn to me and give me hugs as well telling me they are so happy I’m here and that they heard so much about me. His sisters are in the living room each one (there are 3) are beautiful and dressed in the most gorgeous designer clothes, while some how looking like they just threw whatever on. I feel silly in my Target dress, but than they introduced themselves, and each woman is so lovely and nice to me. And they tease their little brother Max as only big sisters can do.
His parents ask if we want to freshen up before dinner. Max takes our bags and has me follow him to his childhood bedroom. We lay down for a nap and before falling asleep he whispers about how he never was allowed to have a girl in his bedroom before and that he has thoughts for all the things he wants to do to me. I laugh and tell him that is never going to happen with his family down the hall in their rooms.
For dinner his grandmother comes over as well. Their dinning room table is filled like it’s thanksgiving. “I always go overboard when Maxsy comes home,” his mom tells me with a wink. I thought I would feel nervous with all these people, but they are so welcoming. They immediately put me at ease. Also max parents weren’t lying when they said they heard so much about me. It seems like Max talks about me non stop and I love it. The meal is delicious, but the endless laughs and conversation is my favorite part.
I almost didn’t want to leave when it was time. His mom makes me promise to come over soon and it’s a promise I won’t be breaking. Max has started to drop little hints of us moving in together before. And now he is asking what I think about Long Island. I admit LI seems like a perfect spot for a couple to start their lives together. ……
The thing about Max is after any type of wrestling event he gets horny. It could be a promo, a match, hell sometimes just watching a classic wrestling match makes him ready to go. And tonight was no different, except for the fact that we were in his childhood bedroom and his parents were right down the hall from us.
That didn’t try to stop him after we both were showered and I was in my pajamas and he was just in his boxer briefs he pulled me into his bed. Than he started to spoon me while kissing and sucking my neck. His hand started to tease my breast, his fingertips dancing over my nipples. It almost worked too, until I heard someone walking to their room. I quickly told him we needed to stop, gave him a goodnight kiss, than rolled over and fell asleep.
Waking up in the middle of night I noticed two things, my butt was cold and Max kept bumping into me. Looking under the blankets I saw my pants and panties were pushed down so just my ass was out. And Max was fast asleep with his hard cock poking out of his boxer briefs and he was humping me. “Baby?” I lightly shook him and gave him a questioning look when he was up and looked down.
“Oh shit. I’m sorry Doll.” He looked so embarrassed. “I told you I never had a girl in here before. And I never thought I would have someone as beautiful and sexy as you actually in my room.” He started to push his cock away. “I guess the teenager in me got a little carried away.
I stopped his hand and put a finger over my lips. I bent over him purposely sticking my ass in the air. I give him long look over before licking my lips. I kissed the top of his dick, before licking all him up and down.
I heard him hiss with pleasure and I pulled away. I whispered “if you make a sound. I stop.” I waited for him to nod before taking his whole cock in my mouth. My one hand rubbed his thighs and the other played with his balls. I let him mouth fuck me until I saw his hands dig into the sheets.
I pulled away from him and quickly throw one leg around his waist. I didn’t need any foreplay I was hot and ready for him. And when He was fully inside of me he had to remind me to be quiet as I accidentally let out a moan of my own. I set the pace for fast and hard.
It wasn’t long until Max large hand was covering my mouth to keep any sounds from escaping. And my pajama top was pushed up, his mouth sucking on my nipples to keep the swears from escaping his mouth. The only sound we couldn’t stop was the light pounding of the beds headboard.
I was so close when Max pulled out of me and flipped me on my back. His fingers began to rub my clit, and the other hand jerked himself off. I felt my body tense before cumming. Max lifted my top up again and came on my breast.
Once our breathing had returned to normal, Max grabbed a T-shirt from his suitcase and used it to clean me up. We lay back in bed exchanging kisses. Before falling back asleep Max whispered “thanks for making my high school fantasy of cumming on big tits come true.”

I don't know what is going on with tb tokoy but yet other their bl show will back with season 2 this time what did you eat yesterday! This one is even more Shocking cause (i adore it btw) have movie version already! Yes i see more potecial with this one 2season them with Minato!
But makes me wonder if 🎩🍒 also back (no really but now who knows) or now its trend with jbl. Season 2 you get if you popular (still Waiting for 🧁 to come back)
I have no idea but it's definitely not my favorite trend of this year. I am just not a big fan of second seasons, especially for shows the feel finished.
My biggest hope for Minato's second season is still that they bring back the secondary boys and develop them more but, frankly, don't expect much.
I am glad we're getting more What Did You Eat Yesterday! It seems like a good show to continue but... still not my favorite thing. I like shows to end. I don't want to constantly be reaching the end and wondering if there will be more.
I like endings!

I don't think he would've taken TB for the money alone if there wasn't finally a decent story for Bucky // Well, he didn't even read the script so...
https://collider.com/thunderbolts-sebastian-stan-script-comments/?fbclid=PAAaaGFD40A2eqPpj9szb6Wo7GTESaoh2za-yodFcN5uhf4fvLba5DIoQKIm4
Anon 2: when Seb signed that contract, Sam had not become Cap in the comics yet.// When Seb signed that contract he didn't even know if he was coming back for a second movie which include following the winter Soldier storyline. There was never a guarantee he would become Cap.
Anon 3: I apologize, but he's always had little screen time compared to the others, so I don't think this movie will be an exception. // Yeah, given that a Marvel exec has already called TB basically a Black Widow sequel, and it's being written by the guy who wrote Black Widow, I don't have a lot of hope that Bucky will be a big part of it. I think they made him seem central at D23 because he's a fan favourite and the only legacy character in the team, and other than Yelena and I guess Val the only one who's been in more than one film/TV show. Given that Black Widow wasn't great (IMO) and there are already rumours that they're changing things I'm just hoping that it's good. And that they don't kill him off! Every other central character from the original movies has either died or had a kid introduced, and somehow I don't think Marvel will give him a suprise child. Although tbh I wouldn't like that either. Idk maybe just nothing will make me happy, but at least my expectations aren't too high 😅
Anon 4: I apologize, but he's always had little screen time compared to the others, so I don't think this movie will be an exception. // Except he's never been a co-lead before (apart from TFATWS).

TB&TB Ch 20 Anon Asks
Part One of... a Million. I'm so sorry.
1. You, and everyone else who sends messages like this, are the highlight of my day, and I cannot thank you enough.
2. It's from Horse Girl, which is on Netflix! He only appears for a few minutes combined (on television and in dreams). But it's a very good movie.
3. You are the best person I have ever seen!!! Beautiful!!! I love you!!! Thank you for existing!!!
4. [Link] Shower scenes are so soft and intimate. They're a bit of a cliche, but it makes total sense. I have one in H2M, but I probably won't do one in TB&TB because it can be exclusionary to certain hair types (since it almost always includes references to hair care).
There are some planned in my series I will hopefully one day get to, Show Me the Ropes.
5. Heheh, he certainly does like to praise her. That won't be going away anytime soon (although he will start teasing her more).
6. Bahaha, it took me a second to get the documentary joke! That old man really needs to release the series finale already. Part of me thinks he's waiting to see what happens with the revival.
As for the broken glass, it is quite the visual. Poor girl lmao.
7. Aaaaa I hope you enjoyed it!
Also, no worries, there is a happy ending! Promise! I always warn at the beginning of a work if I am contemplating an unhappy ending.
8. You are so sweet - Thank you for your very kind words. It means the world to be that I can achieve feelings with my writing. It's all I could ever want! I also wish you all the health and happiness in the world. You deserve it.
9-10. Thank you so much, friends! I appreciate you so much and I'm so happy that you enjoyed yourselves!

In lead up to Season 2, Namco Bandai Pictures have been releasing comments from the staff involved with this new season, known as the “Staff & Cast - Comment Relay”.
These comments are released on the first day of every month over on the T&B twitter, and full posts are over on the T&B website (Japanese only).
So far 7 comments have been released from both the staff and cast, starting with series’ character/hero designer, Masakazu Katsura!
Please note that I am paraphrasing the first two comments, so any lovelies willing to help translate the first two comments (or just help in general), let me know!
Tumblr media
(Series’ Character design / hero design) - Link Katsura has been focusing hard on the character design, specifically for the new Hero suits for Wild Tiger and Barnaby, referred to as “Style 3“. The theme is “standard and fresh” looking. So please look forward to it!
Tumblr media
(Series composition / screenplay / story director) - Link
Nishida confirmed that there was history of starting and stopping the project over the last 9 years. So he was worried whether the project would actually take shape one day, but was uplifted when the higher staff finally gave the green light.
Nishida feels that T&B is a work created by the power of all the cast staff and the support of the fans. He wrote something that they found interesting and hopes that fans will be pleased with it.
He ends the comment by saying, the sequel will be announced more than 10 years after the original work. Tiger, Barnaby, Nathan, Karina, Antonio, Keith, Paolin, Ivan and friends. He hopes that we will enjoy and accept all of their changed and unchanged parts, and think that the enemy characters in this season will be slightly different, than those who appeared in the original series and movies.
The following 3 comments were translated by anon over on 4chan (thank you!)

>Q: How did you feel about receiving an offer to participate in the Tiger & Bunny 2 production? >EY: It's a great honor to once again become part of the writing team. The series is very special to me - you could say it made me who I am today, since I've been with for so long. From the original TV show, the manga series I wrote with Mr. Ueda, the game, or the recitations, the series has taught me a lot. >When I first joined the writing team for the first season, Barnaby and I were both rookies, but now I'm a something of a mainstay, not unlike Kotetsu. I dearly wish I can now return the favor to the series using the experience I have gained over these years.
>Q: Is there anything you particularly focus on when writing the scenario? >EY: I want Taibani to be a series that makes people happy and gives hope to those watching it. That said, I emphasize the growth and change the heroes have gone through over the course of the first season and the movies. After all, more than a decade will have passed since the first season aired. As time passes and worldviews shift, I intend to depict both things that never change and things that have to change. >Q: Please tell use your message for the fans waiting for S2. >EY: It is your long-lasting love and support that has allowed us to weave this story about the heroes once again. For this, you have my heartfelt thanks. I think the fans understand what I mean when I say the series has been a part of our life. I can't wait to share and experience the new Taibani story with you all. >Let us stay safe, so we can enjoy the new season in sound health and bright spirits.

(Screenplay writer - T&B episodes 6,8 & 18, V-Residence T&B web VN, usually a live action actor)
>Q: How did you feel about receiving an offer to participate in the Tiger & Bunny 2 production? >NK: "Wait, we're doing this? Really? Oh wow...." >I also thought, "Hmm, it's been almost 10 years, so things can't change too much, but they also can't be too static". >And then I was like "Alright! I'm just gonna write what I think is interesting and I'm gonna write the hell out of it!" >Q: Is there anything you particularly focus on when writing the scenario? >NK: I'm really careful to make sure I can hear the character's voice in my head when I writing. The series' characters have very strong and distinctive voices. >Q: Please tell use your message for the fans waiting for S2. >NK: It's a sequel that comes after more than a decade. I think the very fact that T&B has so many fans who have loved and waited for it so long is a miracle and I am very grateful to you all.
>With the corona pandemic going on, I feel like we can't spend as much time just enjoying things with others. So I really wish that S2 will be something for us to band together and enjoy as one. It's great that we can once again watch the same work and share the joy and hype on social media, just like we did before.

>Q: How did you feel about receiving an offer to participate in the Tiger & Bunny 2 production? >MT: My hands were literally shaking, I'm serious. When the first season aired I was still in high-school, getting together with my friends after lessons and going "Wow, this week's T&B episode was awesome!". >Joy, sense of responsibility, excitement, pressure... It all came crashing on me together, so I just kind of started twitching. >Q: Is there anything you particularly focus on when writing the scenario? >MT: I mustn't betray the fans' expectations. At the same time, however, I must write a show that even people unfamiliar with the franchise can enjoy. It can't be just a doujin. It's not a vehicle for my ego. More than anything, the show must be fun and interesting. Writing the show felt like threading a microfiber cloth with a micro-sized needle. >Q: Please tell use your message for the fans waiting for S2. >MT: There are very few series that have been loved as long and as deeply by so many people. And I believe we have created a work that can take and embrace all that huge amount of love head on. >Please wait just a little while longer.

>Q: Please tell us your feelings after receiving the production announcement of "TIGER & BUNNY 2". >HH: Every corner of your muscles is always OK! >Q: Please give a message to the fans who are waiting for your work. EDIT - Thanks coolboxofcandy for the suggestion.
>HH: Get ready to roar at your fullest!"

>Q: Please tell us your feelings after receiving the production announcement of "TIGER & BUNNY 2".
>MK: As one of the performers, I'm really happy to decide on the sequel, but as one of the fans, I can't help but wonder if various mysteries that haven't been solved will be solved.
Just like before, I wondered if I could enjoy the moment of reading the script with excitement, and I'm looking forward to it! I want to start recording soon!
>Q: Please give a message to the fans who are waiting for your work. >MK: Actually... I read the script of the first episode first!
“Well! That 's right!"
"Wow ! That person is that!"
"I see! That's right!"
It was the first episode full of surprises. I'm already worried about future developments! Fans, this is an incident! Please look forward to it!
And those were comments that have been released so far. Look forward to more comments in the future!

A New Adventure - Pt. 13
Howdy my loyal readers! Man, words cannot express how grateful I am that y’all are still reading my work. It’s been over a year since I started writing for this fandom, and even though I’ve majorly slowed down just because I don’t have as much time as I did before, you all have stuck by me. So thank you all so much!
Anyways, I know a few people have asked for this series to continue. I figure, like the Halloween series, there will be probably 3 Christmas ones (sorry for those how don’t celebrate Christmas. If it helps, I don’t really celebrate it either. I prefer celebrating the season rather than a Christian person’s God). Anyways, enjoy part 1.

Christmas Tree, My Christmas Tree (Part 1 of 3)
The weekend after Thanksgiving, you decided to put up your Christmas decorations with Arthur.
You haven’t celebrated Christmas in years, not since your father died really. It truly is your least favorite holiday as it’s hard to watch everyone else be happy with their families while you’ve been left wishing you had one and watching your mother choose her latest boyfriend over you year after year.
However, Arthur is already more of your family than your mother ever was, so you feel it’s only right to celebrate it with him.
Most of your decorations were your father’s favorites, and funnily enough, a lot of them include deer. Fitting, oddly enough, since Arthur’s animal with high honor is a stag.
Arthur really likes the deer symbols on the decorations. When you tell him about your father and how much you miss him, he pulls you into a hug.
“You know, Hosea was the closest thing I ever knew to a good father. I miss him all the time. Point is, I know how you’re feeling. We can help each other this Christmas, hmm?”
You kissed him, somewhat tearfully.
You still haven’t slept with him, even though you came very close on Thanksgiving. However, Arthur has been a gentleman and has not pushed it. Perhaps he’s as nervous as you.
You don’t have a tree to put up, mostly because your mom took the tacky fake one when she moved out and since you haven’t really celebrated Christmas, you never bothered to replace it.
So you and Arthur go to a couple of stores to try and find one. But Arthur hates the fake trees. Seeing as where he comes from, you suppose you can’t blame him.
You decide to look at live trees. But you’ll have to buy one a little closer to the middle of the month seeing as live trees are only good for about 2-3 weeks.
On the first weekend of December, you sit down with Arthur and watch some of the classic cartoons of Christmas, such as Peanuts, Rudolph and the Grinch (you’ll save the Jim Carrey one for later).
Arthur finds some of the characters of Rudolph to look a little creepy, but he likes the story.
He’s not a fan of the message of the Grinch. You ask him why and he explains that Christmas cannot entirely change a person.
You ask him what Christmas was like in the gang.
He explains it wasn’t too dissimilar from Thanksgiving because gift giving wasn’t huge for the gang as money was tight and owning a lot of things wasn’t practical for their lifestyles. Most of the time, the gang just gathered for a huge dinner and some singing and some light gift giving.
Every year though, Sean or Lenny usually pulled some pranks that usually sent either Dutch or Hosea into a screaming fit (usually Dutch).
Arthur chuckles a little bit while recalling Christmas with the gang, but then he grows somber. “You mind if I don’t talk about it though? Still… hard to think I’m never gonna have another one with them.”
Arthur’s aware of the fact that if he’d remained where he came from, he’d certainly be dead by this point thanks to his TB.
You hug him in response, realizing how painful it’s been for him to detach from those who were closest to him like this.
“I just want to try out this new life with you, darlin’,” he says when you mention his struggles. “I’ve tried my life and I know where it leads. This life is a mystery though. I wanna see where it takes me. Takes us.”
Arthur helps you put up your outdoor solar lights, carefully wrapping it around the trees and porch of your home.
He likes the colors of the lights and how different they make your house look.
After a few days, you show him one of your favorite childhood Christmas movies Home Alone (1 and 2).
Arthur likes the music for it a lot (and you tell him it’s John Williams).
He loves the message of it, that even though families are dysfunctional and not everyone gets along, they still care about each other.
Arthur takes comfort in that, even though he wasn’t always the nicest big brother to John, he wasn’t a jerk like Buzz was to Kevin.
On the tenth, you and Arthur go to a live Christmas tree lot and look for the perfect tree. Arthur finds one that he loves the shape of and is the right size to fit in your living room.
For the next couple of days, you manage to find lights, tinsel and, with the help of Etsy and a little bit of Amazon, you manage to find some decorations that fit you and Arthur.
You manage to find at Target 3 beautiful golden stag heads. You have no doubt you have to buy them.
A few days after buying the tree, Arthur helps you put the tree up in its stand. He does the heavy lifting and you tighten the tree into its stand.
Arthur is a lot more festive than you thought he would be, demanding there be pretty music playing while the two of you decorate. You find it incredibly endearing.
By the time the tree’s done, Arthur stands back and proudly inspects it, nodding in appreciation.
“Take out your camera,” he says.
Confused, you take it out and hand it to him. He tells you to flip the camera so the screen’s camera is on.
When it’s pointed at you, he leans in and kisses you. Instinctively, you take a few pictures.
Arthur chooses the picture he likes the most. “I want that one printed. I’d like to keep it with me when you’re not around.”
When it’s time for bed, you take Arthur’s hand and lead him into the bedroom. Not to have sex with him, but you just don’t want to be apart from him.
Arthur doesn’t press it either. As always, he’s the perfect gentleman.
He does spoon you however, holding you tight against him.
You can feel him smiling as his lips brush your neck.
“Thank you so much, darlin’,” you hear him whisper as you drift off. “I don’t know if you know how much this means to me, or how much you’ve changed my life. I can never thank ya enough.”
It’s obvious he thinks you’re asleep at this point, so you don’t move or give him any sign you’re awake.
He doesn’t say anything else though, his arms just wind tighter around you as he settles down to sleep.
You drift off soon after, your heart warmed and feeling a gentle heat simmering in your stomach. Who knew Arthur Morgan was such a romantic?

The Freedom of Expression Ep 12 - After the  increase in drinking at home, Tamabukuro Sujitaro's local Chinese restaurant tv program is hugely popular.
K: Hi, this is Dir en grey's Kaoru, starting this episode of The Freedom of Expression. Joe san, Tasai san, welcome again...Well, how's it going recently? In these trying times?
J: Recently, I've been wearing a mask.
T: Right, your mask.
K: Um, just so i don't cause trouble around me today, Im gonna wear a mask, I thought i should.
T: The distance between us too...We're social distancing.
K: Yeah, kinda.
J: There's more space than usual.
K: So, how's it been?
J: Well, I've been doing radio, but in terms of interviews..its really dried up.
T: Ahh, me too.
J: Well, basically, artists, they're in a situation where live shows aren't happening, so there is no so-called promotion going on.
K: Thats right.
J: So, rather than meeting directly to talk, they are doing interviews by email, or such. I've been spending longer at home, so I've been watching movies, and stuff.
T, K: Yeah.
J: Watching erotic movies and stuff.
K, T: *laugh*
K: Thats just normal for you though, right?
T: Its the same.
J: Well, I havn't changed in that respect.
T: Well, Joe, you've been watching movies. But my kids are also having time off..
J: Oh right.
T: Im with them all day, so i have no time to watch movies.
J: You don't watch them at all?
K: *To J* 'You don't watch them?'??
T: I can't, I don't have time. I take the kids to the park in the morning, I make them run about 5 laps, at least try to wear them out a bit *K, J laugh*
J: You make your kids run?
T: Yeah, if I wear them out, Im thinking how much earlier I can get them to bed. Then I'll have one or two hours to myself.
J: Oh right.
T: And then I'll have an evening drink or something, I do get a break doing this show though, but today I brought some news about how this kind of situation is happening in the world right now.
K: Okay, go ahead.
T: Its really typical Tokyo Sports news, but with this increase in drinking at home, a certain food tv show is very popular...a tv show specializing in local Chinese restaurants. The TV show 'Machi chuuka de yarouze' on BS - TBS has become popular.
J: Local Chinese restaurants?
T: Do you know it?
J: No no, I don't have a tv at home, so I have no idea. But I personally love local Chinese restaurants. Generally, if I go to different areas, if there is a butcher, I'll buy a pork cutlet and eat it straight away, if there is a local Chinese restaurant I'll have fried rice there...its how I test out new areas.
T: What about you Kaoru, do you like local Chinese restaurants?
K: I love them. I also watch that show a lot. *the others laugh*
J: What type of show is it?
K: Well..they just go to these restaurants, drink beer, pick something to eat, and ???*1
J: Just that?
T: They eat stuff like fried rice, gyoza/dumplings, ??*2, and drink beer.
J: I see.
T: And its like people at home can watch it and drink beer too, its popular.
J: I see. By the way, Kaoru, when you go to local Chinese restaurants, what do you order? Your must have order?
K: Hmm, Liver and chives or..
J: Ohh yes.
T: Yeah, I like that.
J: Thats a good one.
T: How about gyouza?
K: Yeah, gyouza too.
T: And fried rice.
J: Fried rice is my...its my best way to really test out the skill of the restaurant, whether they are cooking properly...its fried rice.
K: But I always eat too much.
J: Yeah, yeah. Its best if you share it with a group*3, but if you are by yourself, and having beer, the calories stack up.
K: They do.
T: After we introduced this topic, Tokyo Sports' Twitter was abuzz with comments from all over the country saying, 'I love this too!'. It really seems like everyone loves these kinds of restaurants.
J: Ahh, really? But recently, it seems like they are starting to disappear a bit. There's this so-called 'successor problem', and especially in the city, and with the run up to the Olympics too, a lot of these places which make me say, 'Ahh, I like this', are disappearing. Its like, 'Oh, that place has gone?! I liked thier daily specials!'. To me, Japan's local chinese restaurants are..???*4
T: But also a lot of places can't open because of Corona.
K: Some are starting to do take-out outside,  right?
J: Yeh, they are.
T: Even with that, its tough for them though. I wish people would go to them *5
J: Yeahh. Don't they have those old style tables with the thin legs? With that, and a beer, and the tv..its a nice image.
T: Its like its unchanged from a long time ago.
J: It is.
K: I also like chinese noodes/soba.
J: Ah, yeah.
T: Those are good.
K: I feel like drinking beer now.
J: Should we do a Freedom of Expression special while having a drink sometime?
K: We should.
T: That would be good.
J: Lets do it sometime.
K: It should be fine. Drinking on air is not banned, right?
J: No, its fine.
T: What do you drink Kaoru? Gari..
K: Gari chuhai (Chuhai with pickled ginger)
J: Gari chuhai?
T: I wanna drink that.
K: Should we do it?
J: Lets do it! Yeah, lets. Everyone's doing online drinking parties now, right?
T: That sounds good.
K: Oh, they are, yeah.
T: There are like zoom drinking parties, using that app.
K: Wouldn't that be interesting?
T: I wonder.
K: There are a lot of people saying its fun, right? Cause they can't really talk properly otherwise.
J: Ahh, probably. There are a lot of days when I don't talk at all, except for if the supermarket staff asks me if I want a bag, and I say , 'No thank you'. Then I think, 'Ah, the only thing I said today was "No thank you"!'. There are days like that aren't there?
K: There are.
J: There are, aren't there?! Kaoru, you must have days when you are working, where you don't speak at all?
K: Yeah, I don't talk at all. I communicate with the members but its all by text..like on Skype's  chatroom or something. I don't use my voice at all.
J: Really?
K: The only voice is from the track im listening to.
J: Don't you ever have the desire to talk?
K: Hmm, you can be more matter-of-fact with text rather than speaking.
J: Well, yes.
K: When you speak..for example, it can sound as if you're speaking with emotion, can't it?
J: Yeah, you attach an intonation to it.
K: Like, 'Hmm, its a bit...' or, 'Yeah, its good...'...Somehow communicating on Line is more...like 'He should talk first', or..
J: I see.
K: If you hear thier voice, you think, 'Oh, he likes it', or 'He hates it'...you attach extra meanings..
J, T: I see.
K: So to avoid that, reading text is better.
J: So generally, the members always communicate by text?
K: Yes. Always like this, using chat.
T: When do you speak then?
K: We don't speak. *the others laugh*
J: You're a band who never speaks.
K: We don't. In our dressing rooms and such, we really don't talk. *others laughing* Really.
J: So when you are on tour, you don't talk about stuff with the members?
K: Really, with our drummer, these past twenty or so years, the amount I've talked with him woudn't fill a day. *others laugh*
J: If you compressed it all together, right? Only about 24 hours?
K: Yeah, yeah.
J: Thats amazing.
T: The Dir en grey members should all go out to a chinese restaurant together.
K: That sounds good.
T: What kind of scene would that be?!
J: I wanna see that!
T: Me too!
J: We need a members' chinese restaurant drinking party someday.
T: That would be great.
J: Tokyo Sports could cover it.
T: Really?
J: An exclusive.
T: Yeah, an exclusive.
J: Wouldn't it be?
K: Well, we've no idea what will happen.
J: True.
K: But there's a possibility.
T: For sure.
J: Well, its an option.
Kami: Um..
J: Oh, its Kami!
Kami: Theres a great little chinese restaurant in Roppongi.
J: Eh? Do you know Roppongi well, Kami?
Kami: Yeah, I do.
J: Whats the place, can you say the name?
Kami: The name...what was it again, I forgot.
J: You forgot?
K: *laughs*
J: He comes in with this, and forgets?
Kami: Um, what makes it great is that its really quick.
J, K: Ahh.
K: Chinese food is good if it comes quickly.
T: Yeah, for sure.
Kami: Its really quick.
T: How quick?
Kami: I timed it.
T: You timed it?!
Kami: The food came out in two mins.
J: What did you order?
Kami: Liver and chives came out in two mins.
J, T: Two mins!
K: Thats quick!
J: It might have been something they had already made in advance?
Kami: No, it was hot, it was really delicious.
J: How much was it?
Kami: The price was cheap too.
T: By the way, what do you like to drink with chinese food?
Kami: Alcohol? Beer.
J: Of course, with chinese food, its beer, right?
Kami: I like gyouza with beer.
T: Gyoyza with beer.
K: Ahh
J: The most basic of basics.
T: So, in this tv show, there's this guy called Tamabukuro. He has a saying that the size of a  large beer, 633mls, should be compulsory education for adults.
J: I see. Well, everyone, please..chinese food..
K: If there's anyone who wants us to go to thier restaurant...
J: Oh, yes! Lets make an appeal!
T: Lets do it! It will be fun.
J: Well, if there's anyone interested, please contact us here *points to bottom of screen*
To any restaurant owners out there.
K: Yes, please....Well, for now..
J: Oh, we're finishing?
K: Shall we finish here?
J: Yeah, cause we're wearing masks, keeping my glasses free of fog is..
K: They are fogging up a bit.
J: They do. Why don't you guys' glasses fog up? Do you use anti-fog?
K: You have to put your mask up, and your glasses on top of it.
J: Oh, is that it? *adjusts glasses*  Like this? Don't I look stupid like this?
K: Well...
J: Is this ok? If I put the mask up..
K: Yeah, thats too far up. *laughs*
J: We don't wear a mask a home though, right?
K, T: No, we don't.
J: Im not that used to it.
K: Oh, indoors?
J: Yeah, indoors. I've learnt how to do my mask now...from next time.
K: Ok, please watch again next time, and please subscribe.
J, T: Please.
K: Thank you very much.
*1,2,4 Couldn't catch these bits.
*3,5 I think thats what is being meant.

Support Stars Align!
Tumblr media
Stars Align/Hoshiai no Sora is an original anime which looks like a sports anime at first glance but is so. much. more. Soft tennis is the fabric that ties the characters together, yet the real focus of the story is on the character’s home lives and various struggles that mainstream media rarely touches on (and if it does it hardly does so in an informative or careful way).
Stars Align delves into sensitive topics that can be triggering, including child abuse (mental and physical), overprotective parents, questioning one’s identity/sexual orientation, trans representation, cyber bullying and more. However it handles them in incredibly careful ways to show the reality many face in today’s world.
The anime ran into staffing issues which led to the decision to end the original anime at 12 episodes instead of 24 - however, the script was completed for all 24 episodes - which means the story is waiting to be told (in some way, shape or form)!
There are ways to help!
- Spreading awareness about this anime and how important it is is the first step. Introduce friends to the show by sharing the kind of important topics it handles in very important ways.
- Follow the official Stars Align account on Twitter (@hoshiaino_sora), as well as the staff who worked on it (which the official account follows). Show support by liking and retweeting their posts!
- Crunchyroll is currently running a “What Anime Means to You” survey - visit their site and answer the questions you can connect with Stars Align (ESPECIALLY the “Which anime needs a new season the most” one!) The survey ends on May 1st - so be sure to get your answers in soon!
- Visit Netflix’s “Request a Show” page and request Stars Align. They’re a very large streaming platform and have been taking on more and more anime lately - perhaps they could help fund a season two! The director himself suggested this. (Of course, Hulu and Funimation already have the rights to it, but every way of spreading awareness helps!)
- Purchase official merch from Eight Bit’s website (Tumblr hates when links are shared so message me if you’re interested and I’ll send a link!). They have a lot of great things on there, including pre-orders for two art books that currently have special pre-order bonuses. They also recently added Maki’s “to be continued” shirts that he wore in the anime!!
- Stream the Special Collaboration Movie that was released on the TBS Animation Youtube channel. The two choreographers whose dance moves were incorporated into the ending theme collaborated to make a video of them dancing to the song. It’s currently at around 8k views, so if we stream that it could show more interest as well!
- A Fan Collaboration Movie was also announced - though do not misinterpret this as an actual film. It will most likely be something like the collaboration movie above, as a way for fans to show support for the show to gauge the popularity (which may be a factor in if a season 2 ever gets made).
- A fan-run campaign (#ASkyFullOfStarsAlign) is currently running across Twitter, Tumblr, Instagram and the Hoshiai no Sora Amino. Every month focuses on a character from the show with weekly prompts to encourage content creators to raise awareness across the various platforms through sharing art, fics, cosplay, edits, etc. It started in April with a focus on Nao Tsukinose, but will continue throughout the rest of the year - and you can join in at any time!
If anyone has any questions about the show or ways you can help, please reach out - I love chatting with other fans and am always looking to help show support in any way I can!

A friend of mine who still likes Jensen said he had a movie planned and even went to the Golden Globes to see to one of the producers to insure it was sealed.
Umm no, like @hologramcowboy said, no one is having official project meetings at the GG. They went to the GG because he knew the show was ending and he was trying to get his face and name out there preemptively. Notice how Jared didn't because he was already locked into a holding deal and new project? THAT is why he went - name/face out there for the public, press, and most importantly industry people. He was there to network, not to make sure a movie was a done deal. Also, anon, I would love to know where your friend got this "info"? I have NEVER heard this story and I have been in the dregs of fandom with all the rumors for too long lol. The only things I heard about the GG was 1. (from the saner fans) that it was for networking with the show ending soon, and 2. (from the AA's) that he is just sooooooo famous and popular that he was invited. I didn't hear anything about a movie - in relation to the GG or not. I remember AA's claiming that people would be lining up for Jensen and basically throwing projects at his feet now that he wasn't "tied down to spn anymore". But that didn't happen and the first work news we got post-spn was TB announcement. Is there anyone else out there who remembers a movie rumor around that time?
I know jensen did say at a con that he was involved in an important project but couldn't give details but I don't remember which con and this was last year and quite a while ago. I am sure someone will mention the exact details.
But the GG part is complete bs and as you noted, he was there to network and promote TB. People need to stop making up false stories. The truth always come out in the end.

Hi Indy! I know Arkhamverse Riddler is definitely your specialty. Do you happen to have a rough ranking of Riddlers that you like from most to least? And which do you think is the most definitive version of the character?
I THINK that’s what my blog description says, anyway
Yes, at all times I have a rough ranking floating around in the back of my mind.  It is going to be very long so I will answer the last question first.
For most definitive version of Riddler I’m going to have to go with BTAS.  No recurring villain really had a distinct personality from their original (1940s) version, and while I am not knocking Frank Gorshin the 1966 Riddler absolutely was a bit Joker-y.  Most importantly (if I am not mistaken, which I could be), BTAS gave Riddler what became his most important trait: his intelligence.  Before that he was mostly an average weirdo who wore a green suit (sometimes) and liked riddles and sometimes built puzzle traps.  After BTAS, though, the Riddler’s intelligence became the driving force of his character.  Batman ‘66 saved Riddler from obscurity, but BTAS made him both relevant and future-proof.  Will we ever see a Riddler of average intelligence who doesn’t specialise in computer programming/engineering ever again?  I doubt it, and that’s because of BTAS.
Onto the list.  It does not include EVERY Riddler ever because I have not read every Riddler story ever, but it should cover most of them (or at least the ones you’ve probably heard of).
1. Anything Paul Dini wrote.  This actually covers a few different Riddlers, which would be the first two Arkhamverse games, the most notable PI Riddler stuff, and of course the Riddler from BTAS.  Paul Dini can write the Riddler as both being a bad person and sympathetic at the same time, which is actually harder to pull off than it sounds.  AND he does it without using backstory as a crutch, which really is hard.
2.  Jeph Loeb/Jim Lee’s Riddler from Hush.  He only actually appears for two issues, but it’s one of the best Riddler stories merely because it allows him to do all the things Riddler SHOULD be able to do, but can’t because then there would be no Batman comics because he would have ended them.  619C is also, in my opinion, the best Riddler cover of all time.
3. Jim Carrey’s Riddler from Batman Forever.  Why would I put him this high on the list, you ask?  Because some writers forget that the Riddler is half just in it to have a good time and he doesn’t really care about how other people perceive him.  This man is living his best life and he’s doing it in glittery spandex and a light-up jacket.  Is he over the top?  At the time, no, not really.  At the time Riddler kinda just acted like that.  And he should be able to do so, in my opinion.
4. Current Riddler (James Tynion IV).  While this Riddler has some issues with consistency (though this probably has to do with being shuffled from a main comic story into a Catwoman story), he returns to being almost self-cripplingly paranoid and absolutely losing it when he’s bested, which I think are important traits for Riddler to have.  I’m also actually really amused that they gave him the Batman Forever hair.
5. Batman ‘66.  While it did likely rescue Riddler from pending obscurity - he actually never appeared in a Batman comic before 1965, and before that was featured in only two issues of Detective Comics - and he definitely checks the ‘charming’ and ‘having fun’ boxes, there isn’t a whole lot differentiating him from the Joker he’s playing alongside.  If you watch the Batman ‘66 movie they’re almost the exact same character, just one likes jokes and the other likes riddles.
6. Hush Returns and its aftermath.  This stuff is weird and doesn’t make a whole lot of sense because it mostly involves Riddler running away from Hush and retcons certain things from Hush, most importantly the part where Riddler got everyone to work together because he gave them what they wanted.  Hush Returns (which also contradicts itself during the story) for some reason has everyone angry at Riddler for tricking them and it ends with him getting the shit beat out of him and puts him into a coma for a year, which leads into him getting total amnesia and becoming a PI.  That’s the reason it’s so high on the list.  The story is weird and makes no sense at all for any of the other characters in it either but it gave us a reason for PI Riddler and that makes it matter.  Sort of.
7. Brave and the Bold/The Batman Riddler.  I’m putting them both together mostly because BatB Riddler features in I think only one episode and he deserves a mention because he’s adorable.  TB Riddler was an interesting experiment into a Riddler that, for whatever reason, never really came into himself as a person and instead sort of enacts revenge for his existence on life.  If I remember correctly he’s also pretty low-key about his intelligence, which is another interesting character choice.  I respect the things they went for but this Riddler overall gives me the impression of a person who always says no when invited to something but gets upset when people stop asking which, while definitely something the Riddler would do, isn’t really my preferred take.
8. Snyder Riddler (New 52).  The problem I have with this Riddler is that I have no idea what his motivation even is.  I was told a long time ago that a backstory for him WAS written but didn’t make it into Zero Year because the story was already too long, which is... not a great look for a professional storyteller.  And because we don’t know anything about this Riddler, this story consists of a dude who wears green to impress women (which he never shows any interest in), gets the mob to work for him... somehow... and decides to spend a YEAR watching the people in Gotham die because... I’m not sure?  If it amused him, sure, I could understand that.  But he just seems super bored during the entirety of the story.  He doesn’t even seem particularly excited when Batman actually shows up in front of him.  Beyond Zero Year his appearances are, to my knowledge, limited mostly to two issues in Batman Eternal, where he’s hiding, three issues of The Flash, where he speedruns Zero Year and is undone by the Flash villains teaming up against him (which I don’t know enough about Flash villains to comment on), and Scarecrow 23.2, where he for some unexplained reason seems to look up to Scarecrow.  And then there’s Detective Comics: Future’s End, which is just the worst thing ever.  Snyder didn’t write all of these stories, but they are based on his Riddler.
9. Gotham Riddler.  I didn’t watch past season 3 so I can’t comment on too much after that, but the arc with Mad Grey Dawn and ‘I knew that you knew that I knew’ was some of the greatest Riddler stuff we had gotten in years and if they had just kept on with that they would have had one of the greatest Riddlers of all time.
10. Jeph Loeb/Tim Sale Riddler.  Full disclaimer I haven’t read Catwoman: When in Rome, but I have read The Long Halloween and Dark Victory.  The reason I don’t like this Riddler is because he actually bears no resemblance to him.  He’s a literal moron who just stumbles around incompetently for the duration of his relevance to the plot.  It’s like they decided to make an ironic Riddler who is actually stupid and also for the first time in his life does not have the ability to locate a tailor.  I don’t actually understand the point of this Riddler’s existence.  He isn’t even really Riddler, he’s just some sort of vaguely Riddler-coloured person.

Okay, so here's the story: I'll be doing movie reviews on my top 10 favorite movies and promoting them and why I think they need more love. "One Stormy Night/Arashi No Yoru Ni" is a big one and will change your life, that's how inspirational and powerful it is of a movie... and it's for family audience as well. However, I'm watching the English dub, which is technically a fandub. It's more well done, and I can't watch a movie with subtitles. The voices though... amazing! Even my grandma liked it the first time she watched it.
One stormy night has everything: The strong female character we all crave for (Mei's mother) who sacrifices herself for her baby, the overprotective grandmother (Mei's grandma), the goofy sidekick who is full of himself (Tapper) and the cute girly sidekick who kind of enjoys attention (Mina), a bad*** villain (Giro), the villain's slightly more lovable sidekick who speaks with British accent (Barry), the two screwups who can't do anything right (Zack and Beach) and our two underdogs who are different from the rest of their groups (Mei and Gabu). Mei is a sheep/goat (it's an English dub idk what he is exactly) who is not the stereotype of how a sheep should be. Mei is fearless, carefree, and outgoing. Gabu is also different from his pack. Gabu's sensitive, goofy, and not tough like the other wolves. Just by the descriptions of the characters, I think you canmake out which one suits you and which one you can relate to. If you have questions, FEEL FREE TO ASK ME!
The other movies I will be doing reviews of;
1.Barnyard/Back at the Barnyard (Nickelodeon)
2.Sheep and Wolves (WizArt)
3.Wolfwalkers (Cartoon Salloon)
4.Rock Dog (Mandoo Pictures)
5.Duck Duck Goose (Netflix and Origin Pictures)
6.Chicken Run (DreamWorks, Aardman, and Pathé)
7. Storks (Warner Bros)
8. Rio and Rio 2 (BlueSky and 20th century fox)
and finally at 9. One Stormy Night/Arashi No Yoru Ni (TBS and Studio Chizu)
and at Halloween I'll do a stream on Discord where I'll watch 4 Halloween-themed kids/family movies in a row
I plan for next year at Easter time. I'll start watching more movies with sheep but things happened that changed my life forever and now next year will start. Next year at Father's day, I'll be reviewing Duck Duck Goose so that means you got to wait a LOOOONG time for the One Stormy Night review. Those of you who watched One stormy night, let me know you're favorite character in the comments. I don't know if you know me already but you'll know I LOVE Gabu! ^u^ Gabu is one of my favorite anime characters of all time. I think he's so cute and funny. I love the movie's character designs, especially for him. His voice in the dubbed version is also really good too. Tustin Macafee did a great job on every character he voiced! I fell in love with Gabu!
Now I know the dubbed version is TECHINCALLY A FANDUB but I don't care. It's not fully a fandub, since they got permission from the companies that made One Stormy Night/Arashi No Yoru Ni, and had the funding to dub it over. It's not like a normal fandub. I can't watch a movie with subtitles, too distracting. If you're an easily distracted person like me, I recommend the dubbed version, and even if you're not I still recommend it. I was so shocked that one man could voice like 20 characters! If you know who Tustin Gilmer Macafee is, let him know what an amazing job he did and why isn't he voicing characters in movies/cartoons and stuff?
Another thing; One Stormy Night is mostly a family movie. I wouldn't consider it a kids movie, but I will say it's for family audiences. There's a difference between "kids movie" and "family movie". I would rate One Stormy Night as PG. Although, it does have some intensity in some scenes, I think mostly kids can handle it. It moves slow. I wouldn't put it on for a group of 2-5 year olds, though. Also, if you have a disability such as autism and are easily upset I don't think there's a lot that might upset someone like that, but I'd still be cautious. There's some violence, no real blood though. There is a LITTLE WEE BIT of blood.... but not a lot. I think it's mostly a cute movie though. It's only that first scene that's a little touchy. There are also a few minor swear words, not real bad swear words but they say "Hell" the wrong way and use the word "Bastard". I'm sure there's Disney movies that used those words, too, it's not like real bad swear words. It's not like street swear words like the F word and stuff. I recommend this movie to everyone in the world because of how powerful the message is but I know in reality that everyone in the world can not watch everything. My cousin is 9 and she is very sensitive and innocent, I think the movie is fine if you cut out the first scene and told her what happened. However, most 9 year olds I think could handle everything in the movie and I think more parents should let their children who are old enough to watch it. It's long and slow moving, not really the best thing for a group of preschoolers, though. I wouldn't have the newborn baby watch it either, they don't know what the heck is going on.
If you're looking for another option, and you have a bunch of little kids, the show is an option. They made a terrible adaptation, yet it's also amazing. I love the show but I hate the fact that they made Mei and girl and changed their designs... and the worst betrayal... Barry doesn't speak with British accent! 0_0 This can't be I can't listen to him and think that's Barry that's not Barry! (Just kidding, but the voices for the other characters in the show are very unfitting) I believe the show for One Stormy Night was meant for preschoolers, and even though it's a Japanese show, it reminds me a lot of western kids shows made for that age group. The animation reminds me a lot of Miss Spider Sunny Patch Friends and the voice acting is spot on! Jack Merluzzi makes a great Gabu. I don't love him like Tustin's Gabu, but Jack does a good job and makes Gaby always sound enthusiastic. The names are also different from the show, too! Baru=Barry, Mii=Mina, Tappy=Tapper

Chapter 1: Kang Gook hates stupid love songs
“Never again, “ Gook murmured to himself as he entered his apartment, “no more idols. I’m not doing this ever again.”
It was almost midnight, and he was just back from fifty-four days of being part of the world’s second most popular boy band (and they were very bitter about not being the first) security detail. Hye-mi suggested the gig because she thought it would be a nice change of pace, and would allow Gook to do some European site-seeing on his free time. Well, it was a change of pace, but not the kind he had in mind.
Assassins and terrorists, he could handle; but he just wasn’t acquitted to dealing with a crowd of hysterical fifteen-year-olds. All that crying and yelling when there was no real danger meddled with his instincts.
But nothing mattered now, because he was home, and he’d never have to listen to another stupid love song again. That was a privilege he never would have appreciated in full fifty-five days ago. Gook was only twenty-eight, but dealing with teenagers and their music made him feel ancient.
He put down his suitcase, yawning. He convinced himself to change into shorts and a t-shirt, then fell face-first on his bed.
Gook woke up at eight-thirty to find a message from Hye-mi.
“Min-hyun really wants to see you,” Hye-mi’s message said, “could you drop by at around ten?”. Gook doubted that Min-hyun actually said that – she was only ten months old – but he went to shower and dress.
“Look who’s here,” said Hey-mi in baby voice as she opened the door, holding Min-hyun, “it’s your uncle Gook. He’s been away for a really long time!”
“Hi,” said Gook.
“How are you?” Hye-mi asked.
“Fine,” said Gook, “it was a long, noisy tour.”
Hye-mi led him to the kitchen. “Sit down and hold her for a moment,” she ordered, “I need to get my iPad.”
Gook held Min-hyun, supporting her head the way Hye-mi taught him when Min-hyun was less than one day old. She smiled at him, and he couldn’t help but smile back.
Hye-mi returned. “Your new client,” she said, passing him the iPad, “Han Tae-joo.”
“No,” Gook said after one look at the photo. “Not another idol. Teenage girls are loud .”
“He’s not an idol!” Hye-mi protested. “He’s the new chairman of the TB group. Pil-hyun went to high school with him. “
“I thought you went to high school with Pil-hyun,” said Gook. “Didn’t you go to school with him, too?”
“I transferred only for the last year,” Hye-mi explained, “Han Tae-joo’s father sent him to England at about the same time, so I haven’t met him until five weeks ago.”
“Why five weeks ago?” Gook asked.
“His father suddenly died of a heart attack, and we went to the funeral. Then we mentioned him to mom, and she insisted we invite him to dinner. He’s an only son and his mother died when he was young, and you know how mom is with strays.”
Gook was a living proof of that, though he thought treating a Chaebol as a “stray” was pushing the definition of the word.
Hye-mi went on, “he was here for dinner twice, and she likes him. She told him he should hire you, and he told her he’d think of that. I guess he did, because he called me four days ago and asked to hire you. We already negotiated your terms.”
Gook knew he was doomed. Between Hye-mi and Ms. Jung, he was stuck with the Han Tae-joo gig until told otherwise.
Still, he wasn’t giving up without a fight. “Do you really want me to take the job because he was friends with Pil-hyun in high school? That was ten years ago.”
Hye-mi laughed, “Oh, they weren’t friends. Tae-joo stole three of his girlfriends in a row.”
“He sounds like a brat,” said Gook.
“Pil-hyun says he was,” said Hye-mi, “but so was Pil-hyun, and look at him now. Pil-hyun actually thanked him: he said that if he wasn’t single at the right time he would have never asked me out. In a way, we owe him a favor. “
“Because he stole Pil-hyun’s girlfriends,” said Gook. He hoped Hye-mi would see how absurd that was.
“I’m calling you a taxi,” said Hye-mi, who obviously couldn’t see the absurdity. “You’re meeting him in an hour. I sent everything you need to know about him to your email.”
Gook accepted his fate. “Okay,” he said. “Fine, I’ll meet with him.” Even though he was feeling less than cheerful, he smiled again at Min-hyun before handing her back to her mother, because it wasn’t the baby’s fault that her mother and grandmother scared him into submission.
“Dinner is at seven, don’t forget!” Hye-mi called after him, “mom really missed you. We all did.”
“I won’t forget,” Gook promised before he closed the door.
Chapter 2:  A very un-Chaebol Chaebol
In the taxi, Gook reviewed everything Hye-mi sent him about Han Tae-joo. They were both twenty-eight, but that was where the resemblance ended. Han was the sole heir of the TB group, a less than ethical (though no suspicion was ever confirmed) conglomerate. He graduated from Oxford University’s Merton College with a first in Economics, then moved to the US, where he completed an MBA in Berkeley. After graduation, he worked at a Sillicon Valley start-up – not the TB’s group American branch, Gook noted – until five weeks ago, when his father passed away because of a heart attack. There were also pictures of him with nine different girls overall, usually at charity events – Han was somewhat of a playboy. Gook was not disappointed, or so he told himself. Most men were attracted to women; why would Han be any different?
Han Tae-joo looked even better in person than in his photos, which Gook definitely did not care about, thank you very much. He was also the most un-Chaebol Chaebol that Gook had ever met. For one thing, he didn’t remain seated behind his desk and waited for Gook to bow to him respectfully, but was out of his chair the moment his secretary let Gook into the room, crossing the space between them to shake Gook’s hand enthusiastically. For another thing, he smiled at Gook. Gook had met more than his fair share of Chaebols – they were abundant in his line of work – but they rarely bothered looking at him, let along shake his hand or give him a smile bright enough to light a room.
“Kang Gook,” said Han, “I’m Han Tae-joo,” not Chairman Han, Gook noted. “I’ve been looking forward to meet you.”
Even if Hye-mi’s notes didn’t include Han’s long stay abroad, Gook could have guessed from his behavior that he spent a fair amount of time out of Korea. One had to admit, Gook thought, that Han’s attitude was refreshing.
“Chairman Han,” said Gook respectfully, bowing slightly. Just because Han broke protocol didn’t mean Gook was allowed to do the same.
“Please,” Han gestured at one of the visitors’ chairs in front of his desk, “take a seat.” He waited until Gook sat, then went back to sit behind his desk.
“You know,” Han said, “at first I looked into your resume only out of respect to Ms. Jung. She insisted that you were just the person I needed as my chief bodyguard. However, after the results of your background check returned, I realized she was right on the mark. If I want to survive in this position, I need you to have my back.”
“And you got all of that from a background check?” Gook asked before he could stop himself. There was something about Han that tempted him to throw caution to the wind, and that made Han dangerous. Gook was a professional, and he wanted to leave the gig with his reputation intact.
“I got all of that from your background check plus Ms. Jung, Hye-mi and even Pil-hyun’s recommendations,” Han replied. “According to all your past employers but one – we’ll get to him in a moment - you never use force unless you have to, which means you have a strong moral code. You’re discreet, well-mannered, and my favorite thing about you: you have superpowers.”
shitshitshit
“Superpowers?” Gook asked carefully, putting on his best poker face. “Chairman Han, have you been watching too many Marvel movies?” And that was downright rude, but Gook was caught off-guard. Hey-mi knew about the telekinesis, but he would bet his life she didn’t tell Han. But who did?
Han didn’t look one bit disturbed by Gook’s rudeness.
“Telekinesis and mind control, to be precise,” he said.
doubleshit.
“You’re careful, which I like. According to my sources, you have used your powers on others…” Han paused and made a show of picking up some papers and consulting his notes, though Gook was sure he memorized every incident, “a grand total of eight times, out of which only two included mind control. The first of those was when you ordered that rapist to turn himself in and confess – which he did. “
That was almost seven years ago. It was Gook’s second gig, and he noticed his own client pouring something into a girl’s drink at a club. After that, Hye-mi took over vetting his clients before he accepted a position.
“How do you know I had anything to do with that?” Gook asked, his voice neutral. “Perhaps he had a sudden attack of conscience.”
Han snorted. “Sure he had; of your conscience. He doesn’t have one. About three days later he denied everything he confessed to. Fortunately, he handed the police enough evidence before that sudden change of heart. Then there was the assassin who tried to murder your client, who was also very talkative for almost three days, then again had that mysterious change of heart.”
The incident with the assassin was three and a half years after, and Gook really should have known that commanding him to spill everything to the police would put him at risk.
“I’m guessing the effect of your commands lasts a little less than three days.” Han didn’t wait for Gook’s response. “There were also six incidents of you using your telekinesis. The last time, according to my very reliable sources, was three weeks ago, when you saved a fourteen-year-old girl from being crushed to death by over-enthusiastic fans of that boy band.” Han finished.
Dammit, thought Gook. He thought he was discreet on that one. How did anyone notice, in the middle of that mass of screaming kids?
“I must say I’m disappointed – I expected a kitten saved from a tree somewhere on the list.”
Gook did not appreciate being mocked. “Get to the point,” he said. “Are you blackmailing me?”
“No!” Han seemed surprised, as if the possibility never crossed his mind.  “I’m saying that I know what kind of man you are, and that I want you on my team. I don’t want a thug,” Han said, turning dead serious, “those are dime a dozen. I’m hiring you because you’re just the opposite. Look, I know that if I do anything illegal with you around, I will find myself at the police station, confessing my crimes, and I still want to hire you. Doesn’t that tell you something?”
“It tells me you put a lot of trust in me for no good reason.”
Han put his elbows on the desk, leaning closer to Gook. “I have a very good reason,” he said with a sigh. “I’ve been out of this country for ten years. I know very few people and I trust no one. But to succeed in this position, I must be able to trust someone.”
“And you decided on me?” Asked Gook.
“You are, by far, the best candidate. Accept the position, please.”
Gook never thought he would hear a Chaebol use that word, especially not in such a pleading tone. Either Han was the world’s best actor, or his need - desperation, even - to hire Gook was genuine.
“Okay,” said Gook. “But anything illegal, and you’ll be confessing on YouTube.” That felt strange, acknowledging the power he did his best to forget about. He never shared that secret with anyone, not even Hye-mi.
Han didn’t seem concerned, quite the opposite: he beamed at Gook, holding out his hand for another shake. Gook took it.
“Deal,” said Han.
“Deal,” Gook repeated. “I’ll start tomorrow,” he said, “I’m going to need your address and daily schedule.”
“Don’t you want to know how much I’ll be paying you?” Asked Han.
Gook shook his head. “Hye-mi already negotiated with you,” he said, “she knows what she’s doing.”
“She does,” Han agreed. “Smart lady. Scary, too.”
Gook couldn’t help himself: he chuckled. So did Han.
The story is complete! and you can find the next chapters in AO3. (13824 words overall).

Why I chose Lauren Cohan for Abigail, Abigail’s sickness, and after RDR 1. Spoilers for Walking Dead and RDR 1.
This is in reference to my the Ask Abigail thing I do, but can also work for a movie casting thing.
But!  I do want to talk about why I chose Lauren Cohan - besides her looks, of course.Character analysis ahead and including the question of - what happened to Abi after rdr 1!
HUGE Walking Dead Spoilers and RDR 1 spoilers!
Tumblr media
Source for pic. So yeah! She looks like her, but if you hear her speak - they sound near identical.  No spoilers in this clip! Link here.
Spoilers! .
. So Maggie Green was married to a man named Glenn. It was the apocalypse, so every moment they had together was precious. In season 7, Glenn dies. Maggie is absolutely devastated, and her response is very similar to Abigail’s when she sees John. Both were killed in unfair ways in order to “send a message.” (John was totally killed to send a message. No doubt in my mind. Yes, I can write an essay if you want.) However, Poor Abigail dies of a broken heart, and I’m crushed. She was only 37. She suffered her entire life and only had three years of true happiness, not counting her daughter’s passing, of course. The ranch she and John worked so hard for was abandoned and in ruins. Their home standing empty. Their graves were forgotten.  (I have some interesting historical heartbreaking angst to share. :/  It’s about what happened after Jack left. :(  )
However, what if Abigail didn’t die? First of all, - Abigail was very sick. She shows signs of illness in rdr, chapter 2. She coughs a lot despite not smoking. Prostitutes were known to be carriers of TB, and while she had a horribly stressful life, it’s possible it wasn’t enough to trigger symptoms like Arthur’s. HOWEVER! This would mean Jack and John would potentially be carriers.  Funny enough, Abigail is thin and pale like a TB victim - which is ironic because TB patients were considered the epitome of beauty and blessed the sufferers with creative powers. This was before the disease was considered a “bad person disease” - meaning only prostitutes and outlaws could get it. They truly believed this. No. I’m not joking.
Personally, I think it was asthma or something similar. Abigail is coughing non-stop in rdr’2  epilogue and RDR 1. This fits with my headcanon that their daughter had asthma as well. So to fit this idea, Abigail would have to get past her illness.
Maggie reinvented herself. She vowed revenge on Glenn’s killer and was further incensed to be there for their son. She became a real badass. Now, Jack was older, but maybe she could have also guided him. I think she was too heartbroken to really do much more than exist. I guess she took care of the ranch the best she could, but that’s near impossible. They didn’t have a lot of money, and all of their animals were gone, and only Jack could fight off the rustlers.  But what if Abigail transformed like Maggie did? She’s already a badass like Maggie - I can see her struggling, but potentially starting over again. If not with the ranch - maybe something else. Maybe staying single or getting married. Perhaps coming into contact with Bonnie.  But. I will say her death adds an extra layer of tragedy to the story.  My idea is just an Au. I don’t judge Abigail either way. But yeah, that’s why I chose Lauren Cohan.
