Round 3 - Fashion Show

Theme: "Cosplay Round!"

Contestants: Criss Hiromi & Kanade Alarie

Divisions: Akihabara & Kyoto

"...I'll admit, I've cosplayed before, but it feels a little weird this time. I always tried to find characters that had the same hair or eye color as me, which is kind of hard considering I'm an Albino. But Kanade-chan suggested we dress up as Korra and Asami from Legend of Korra, so I decided to take the leap.

"I'll admit, it feels weird walking around without my glasses on. These contacts hurt my eyes! And my hair... I didn't think I'd ever see any other color except white. And this make-up feels odd on my lips. ...But it's worth it to see Kanade-chan happy. I can't wait to see her Korra outfit!"

Every year I tell myself to bring a nice camera to Katsucon to take some nice photos with. And every year I forget to do that. The photo collection continues as I rely on others for my photos.

Anyways, I had a ton of fun this year, and I met some amazing people! I got to do a lot of fun things that I’ve never done before! Thanks anyone who came to the rap battle on Saturday, I had a ton of fun and I’ll come back next year even stronger!

DAY 25: favorite A.R.B. au

🎤 Quest 2

Really tough fight between Quest 1 (Gentaro and Dice!!!!!!!!), Quest 2 and High School Hypnotic Microphone (yes, I'm still stuck on this fic)…but then I absolutely couldn't not talk about Ichiro with long hair, Samatoki with the braid, Jakurai with the monocle, fairy Ramuda, ninja Kuko and … whatever Sasara is. LOOK AT THEM. Ichiro with long hair is one of the most heavenly visions I've ever had, he almost looks like he's cosplaying Kenshin…whereas, Samatoki dressed like that? The bandit/swordsman figure suits him PARTICULARLY well (maybe I'd worry). Ramuda comments for himself…. But Jakurai. Jakurai with his long flowing hair (#Pantene), neatly braided, wearing a monocle and holding a wizard's book…rejuvenated by at least 15 years. I can't possibly make it. Kuko dressed as a Ninja looks great, for some strange reason it seems like a very fitting role for him (leaving aside how cool the outfit itself is)…while Sasara is always beautiful (although the staff vaguely reminiscent of the Plague mask unsettles me a bit, I confess).

So. I've been on tumblr dot com for a long time. LONG time. And yes, my overall follower count is like 700 something, but I'm most proud of the one's I've gained in the past year or so. I had been on Tumblr very sparingly between the end of 2018 (mostly fanblogging for My Hero Academia) and then... I re-found the Ikémen games (And Hypnosis Microphone and now TWST) and then the fandom thanks to one of my dear irl friends. We indulged in the games. I dove head-first into fanfiction of my new loves. We cosplayed Seth Hyde and Alice the Second. I've written fanfic, I've cried over routes (NOKTO. LICHT. LUKE. HOW DARE). I've met absolutely incredible friends that inspire me every day. Knowing there are 101 people out there that have followed me for my fandom shenanigans and writing absolutely blows my mind. I love my creative outlets and I love being able to share them with you. Knowing y'all put up with me and how I have so SO many wips is even more inspiring.
