Yuu is stubborn and Mikaela refuses to believe the truth.

The most difficult situations happened after you have been with Mikaela.

They call them "little adversity."

Little adversity = You have tried to eat Mikaela twice.

(Not in a sexual sense.)

This is why Mikaela usually hugs you from behind.

Because hugs are mandatory even if you tried to eat him.

They will also keep you more locked.

If they have to, they will punish you.

Usually leaving you hungry.

Or they’ll break the bones and tell them why they’re forced to punish you.

Punishment is love and they are sure you will adjust.

Does Yuu have an inferiority complex?

I was thinking about ONS as of recent, and something came to mind. Does Yuu have an inferiority complex? And I'm about to answer this question in this post. Feel free to comment on it ^_^

To start with, what is an inferiority complex? By definition "an unrealistic feeling of general inadequacy caused by actual or supposed inferiority in one sphere, sometimes marked by aggressive behavior in compensation." When it comes to symptoms, it includes low self esteem, abandonment issues (can be formed/stems from it), thoughts of death, self deprecation, the craving of praise, etc.

Yuu appears to find himself to be inadequate in the sense that he was not strong enough to be able to save his family, and protect them or anyone else. He deems himself "useless" and "weak" which becomes his driving force to prove everyone else wrong, and that he has the potential/capabilities to become strong.

It's established pretty early on that Yuu wants to kill himself, and that after his family died; he wanted to die too. This is because he was angry at himself that he was somehow alive, despite being able to do nothing to save his family. How is someone as useless as him is alive, when the others were dead? This was sort of a question for him. It's already established that he has survivor's guilt, which in my opinion probably plays into this.

"I've lived enough. I considered suicide every day... But I stuck it out, doing what it took to live this long. You could at least praise me for that."

This is something that Yuu said. [CH. 119, page 29]. Essentially, he explains how he had no reason to live; and that he wanted to die. But, he didn't because he would feel guilty (because it'd mean he gives up on Mika). However, he also states that a major driving force was finding someone to live for. He wants to be praised because even living on was tough for him. People who have an inferiority complex tend to crave praise, or reassurance inherently.

A sign of an inferiority complex is also aggressive behavior. Yuu has always been relatively aggressive and closed off, which is most likely because of the great deal of trauma he experienced early on in life when his parents attempted to murder him. This honestly just got worse when the orphanage kids were massacred, just as Yuu was beginning to open up and trust them. So, later on, when he demands that he wishes to kill the vampires and thinks he's strong enough, he sort of finds that he has to prove he's good enough. How does Yuu choose to do that? By being an absolute idiot and charging into extremely dire situations without the proper gear and a plan.

Yuu's aggressive behavior is relatively prominent, but it sort of fades when Mika is present in his life, seeing as he had guilt for "leaving Mika to die" left over within himself.

"I want to die. How come I had to survive? Somebody kill me. I'm an ugly, worthless devil. Don't leave me. I don't wanna be alone. I wanna die. I wish I never existed."

Yet again, another thing Yuu has said [CH. 104 page 23]. Yuu's survivor's guilt is displayed pretty well here. He feels like shit because he somehow managed to live, but he in fact, wishes the exact opposite. He wished he too, was slaughtered. And then, he begins to self-deprecate himself. He considers himself to be "ugly" and "worthless". He believes himself to be these things because he survived, of all people. He, the child his parents once called a devil survived. I think this sort of serves enough proof of how mentally ill he is.

TL;DR Yuu basically shows a lot of symptoms and behaviors similar to that and is fucked as hell

This is really interesting how Yuu has a very very veryyyy good and high potential to become and turn as the biggest and greatset villain between all other stories till now I mean just look at him, look how calmly and even cheerfully and with NO kind of guilty he states that he doesn't give a damn about the whole world?! He literary says even if he will be force to sell the whole world so can save Mika, He. Would. Do. That!!

There's no joke really Yuu has everyone and everything around himself and is happy but he says such things so easily as if no other things in this world is important although Guren in the same age as him NEVER chose the world over his love (Mahiru) or family (he even SACRIFICED his FAMILY in AICHI in order to save the WORLD) UNTIL he completely LOST everyone and everything and completely left ALONE and INSANE at the end!! And he NEVER accept or said anything like that when he was on his RIGHT mind. As if it will be necessary Yuu will FOR SURE do human experiments, he will for SURE kill people even the beloved ones of his family, he will for SURE work with his enemy (just like how he may most probably will start to work with Shikama doji soon!!!!) and the scary part of him is that he has no SHAME or even GUILT over that too!! And this is both scare and at the same time interesting of him!!! He can be the biggest b*tch ever and will change the whole story in a villain mood and yep that's such a great but scare scenario really....! That's why although I really really like Yuu but I also like this Yuu's corruption arc too because very important life meanings and moral points and how people shouldn't JUDGE anyone from their covers can be adapted of such scenario at the end...!!

Imagine that at the end, Guren gets killed by Yu and Demon Mikaela 💀 It looks like Guren is a death row inmate in the picture I CAN'T

My thoughts on ONS 121

I feel like this is gonna be one of the emotional chapters where Mika and Yuu went to the Mt. Fuji together and climb at a high place just to see the dawn. We can feel they’re enjoying the view together.

It has been proven for so many times that Yuu looks more relaxed when he’s with Mika. Even though Mika has been warning him for so many times in many occasions, Yuu knows that this is the Mika that he knows. Yuu knows Mika will always have his back.

Mika may doubt Yuu’s love towards him but Yuu will always do his best to make Mika smile because each others’ happiness matter a lot to them even though there are some occasions where Yuu will go his way and persuaded Mika to go with his path too.

There maybe some people find some moments in 121 are filler-like but to me, it’s not that filler-like. It’s because, in the second half, we encounter those vampires’ scenes where they’re preparing for a huge battle. I’m looking forward what are everyone’s plans.
