Love your latin american ocs! Do you have a Colombia character in mind?

Colombia is a tricky character for me, since I can't set down on their gender. The initial concept I had when I started developing my ocs was of a guy, but lately I'm thinking more of a girl personification

I do have a mexico and would like draw my OC soon :3 I have an interest in the indigeneous groups of what is modern day southwestern USA and northern mexico so I know a little bit about it from that perspective, and would love to draw something about it some time! I sent an AI generator the prompt “if [country name] were a person painted in the style of [painter(s) from that country]”

@jinsai-ish recommended Japan and Korea (I’ve only included S. Korea in this batch!), @pizzaapplecheese recommended Jordan and UAE, and @shu-dzhoker recommended Colombia. Thanks all for your feedback!

EDIT: After some discussion with a fellow fan, it’s been brought to my attention that I failed to recognize the fact that several of the portraits I’ve featured (particularly those of East Asian Women) can be hurtful due to their whitewashed features, and could reinforce whitewashed stereotypes with other viewers who are unaware of the issue.

This series started as an experiment to learn how the AI works, and over time I have become very aware that this AI has had very whitewashed “training” for its algorithm, particularly for portraits. However, in my excitement over the possibilities for future prompts, I failed to register those problems and additionally failed to consider the negative impact of sharing the portraits publicly, especially with no acknowledgement of the AI’s biases. I apologize to anyone who was hurt by any of these images, and would encourage everyone to learn more about the embedded biases of AI generators by reading articles like this one from Vice or this one from Science.

I don't skip the intros, I actually enjoy them, sometimes they have nice details about the episodes or the series in general and idk I think of the people putting effort on the intros and just feel like I have to watch them...

3. how many and what kind of collections do u keep?

Hmm I wouldn't say they're collections but I have a share of Batman comics, a bunch of literature books I bought from a library near my university, and every time I travel, I pick up a stone and label it, idk that one is a habit my mom taught me so yeah, we have a bunch of rocks lol.

4. ya’ll r gonna hate this but ur major actually says a lot about u as a person. whats ur major?

We don't really use the major - minor terms around here, I got my degree in Sociology and focused on cultural studies, leaning towards conflict, religious practices and historical memory because well, it's quite the relevant field in Colombia and conflict is literally the only topic the faculty shoot us towards in the last semesters lol
