i'm not saying that y'all can't debate it, but it's headache inducing hearing people argue about homeschooling from an abstract standpoint.
one person will argue that homeschoolers are ill adjusted, socially inept, uneducated cult members. another person will argue that they're pillars of morality, picture of mental health and social abilities, child prodigies. there are statistics and cases of failures and success thrown about left and right. here's a neglected cult abuse victim who can't read. here's a 14yo genius philanthropist.
these debaters often have this in common: neither were homeschooled nor do they have children.

Almost every day I learn something new about life and it is always either 1. There’s some kinda real fucked up creacher in the ocean, or 2. It is an unbelievably warm and speechless experience to be friends with and care for another human being
