I HAVE a couple of yan ocs/weird freaks i will do some writing of over here already but alas only one of them is really a slutty slut. others have their moments ofc but cass is the sluttiest slut of them all. bisexual disaster of a former child prodigy artist who lost his eye in a car accident and in horror at his predicament (eyesight being in his view terribly important for an artist and aesthethe as he considered himself) he made a deal with a Dubious Entity for his vision who demanded payback in blood. driven entirely by his own lust, artistry, desire for immortality and to make the Perfect Masterpiece - only he’s going about it somewhat violently. yan in his desire for a perfect muse, otherwise just a horrible aristocratic byronic figure of a Guy. lives in a crumbling gothic horror estate that may also be alive. he is secretly my favourite.

What is Imagination? Diary 2022/07/01

A duality of "substance" which we correlate with an Apple (Seed:Fruit) & the story of Adam N' Eve. It is a curse & a blessing. The greatest love story and horror story known to mankind (allegory of the cave). There is a saying: The apple doesn't fall too far from the tree (Laws of Gravity:Attraction) but once it does, it creates a theory of relativity that is particularly Unique: The Atom Seed of thought. A signature move. A "Thinker". A "Godfather" & "Rain Man". An "MC squared Y.O.U"=E aka Frank-Einstein. A Pseudonym with A disorder known as dissiociative.identity.disorder or what i refer to as the Dewey.Imagination.Decimal center (a library)/ Interstellar. It creates a "Watchman" to create an aesthethic of existence in my room of thought internally & externally.

honestly idk why people are getting worked up over the setting and enemies. like yeah it's kind of drab but i also can't see this being what the full game's gonna look like? Like, to me it feels more like "bayonetta goes dimension hopping through platinum games IPs" than "bayonetta 3 takes place in the astral chain universe"

I mean, I can't speak for the rest of people - But, personally (and i gotta make that clear, cause some people don't get that) I am tired of cities and modern and cyberpunk settings in media, especially. I, mostly, in some cases I do, not a fan of that kind of enviroment and places. Again, that's why I always drop Astral Chain despite actually loving it's combat and it's ideas - because i'm just not feeling that cyberpunk / future aesthetic.

Same, goes, just like already said, I think DMC5 is great, but it's choice of desinging characters and enviroments? Making them very industrial and blue-grey-city-like? And because of that choice most of the 'magic' locations suffered too? Like, sure RE engine fits to Resident evil - because it's horror, but DMC was always about castles, magic stuff, intresting gothic enviroments, churches and all that. Same goes for enemies - angels, demons, mutated stuff, you name it.

And then same applies to Bayo, yeah, one could say we had two games about that and we should not consider other stuff, but like?? I just can't?? Bayo's locations and enviroments and it's aesthethic were always things that I LOVED and it never overstayed it's welcome with different enviroments (bayo2 prologue // bayo1 plane // bayo1 road and stuff) all of the FIT. And again, at first I wasn't happy with it - but now the more I look - the more I find them fine. But 'fine' is the best I can sat until I see a whole game. And it IS clear the locations are like that because it's optimisation choice, because combat does LOOKS INSANE and BIG.

IN FACT, trailer actually gave us a glimpse on different location, but YOU CAN BARELY TELL

again, my problem that it's not that it's just grey, it seems empty, very lifeless, like an arena That's all can change obviously, it's not like first gameplay of Bayo2 didn't showed us prologue jet fight But once again, I think people have right to form their opinion as thet want, alright? Let's be cool about that :)

Midnight Mass (2021) short review, almost spoiler-free:

After the fine and delicate masterpiece “The Haunting of Hill House”, Mike Flanagan took another route in my opinion and delivered a weaker second project with “The Haunting of Bly Manor”. It was solid, yeah, and sooo lgbtq progressive, but ultimately (for my taste) it wasn’t another Hill H! So i waited a bit and didn’t really jump at his newest show MM. What luck, bc it’s partly messy, wasting a lot of time for dialogues that are way too esoteric. Then it throws one revelation or twist after the other in the final episodes at you. Some are so fast that i don’t understand the change in characters. Too much crammed into 2 eps. Oh and if you hate the cheapest trick in storytelling methods, then you will hate this show. But IT STILL HAS ITS MOMENTS AND OLDSCHOOL HORROR VIBE. It was surely a very planned design and aesthethic choice. Look at the poster, time-travelling from 1980′s video cassette covers.

The hell is it about: a young man paying a price for a crime, returning to his boring home on an island and the religious society on that island.

The cast: more than solid performances by Hamish Linklater, Kate Siegel and Zach Gilford. Fan fav Rahul Kohli turned into a chubby midlife crisis cop. You probably won’t find “bigger” names in this.

Rating: with my heart beating wildly for anyting less mainstream and a strong interest in watching old stuff remade or retelling of old stories for our century, i give a fair 3,5 of 5 stars.

Hello, dear Anon, and thank you! ヾ(☆▽☆)

To be honest, I haven’t written any AU for this fandom yet - but yes, I’m considering doing so, both for request writing and personal stories (also fics with no reader insert - yes, I write those too, just don’t publish them (*/_＼) with one exception so far)

So far my top ‘I wanna try’ are:

1. Sci-fi/space opera - I’m a sucker for sci-fi in general, especially for everything space or cyberpunk related, I read tons of books, graphic novels, mangas in said genre, I like the aesthetic to be more rough, dark and dirty than futuristic tho (psst, I’m currently working on huge Guardians of the Galaxy based AU for One Piece, maybe one day I’ll publish it?~)

2. Greek mythology - mixed with Byzantine aesthethic, because I absolutely adore the art and style of medieval Greece; tbh hit me with anything Greece-related and my modern-Greek-philologist-in-spe self will be veeeery pleased!

3. Vikings + nordic mythology - yes, I’d shamelessly turn One Piece into one huge epic scandinavian saga (absolutely not because Viking-stylised outfits are so freakin’ sexy and I’d gladly give away one of my hands for Robin, Zoro or Law dressed like this, absolutely not)

4. Modern domestic AU - yes, I’m hella weak for such stories, especially with the Strawhats living together in one huge house and being as chaotic as ever, bonus point: it’s domestic AU but it’s also urban fantasy!

5. Postapocalyptic - I’m not really a big fan of horror or survival stories, but hey, as cyberpunk fan I can’t overlook the possibilities behind good old apocalypse~ I like mixing this with mafia and corrupted society rather than horror per se tho.
