Option 1; Felix (Golden City WIP)
(fun fact, this 'made friends with an assassin' part also applies to me, the author)
Technically this is a spoiler because it hasn't happened as of the book's beginning, but he does in fact do this at one point. Charisma 10/10, could probably sell ice to an iceberg and makes friends with everyone whether they want to be friends or not.
Option 2; Iris (Golden City WIP)
She literally did this. That's how she's in the country the book is set in. One day she was just like 'what if I move to Solace' and just... packed and left. I don't know what else to tell you. It worked, somehow.
Option 3; Nerium (Golden City WIP)
Somehow wound up making friends with a bunch of chaotic people, mostly against his will, is now attached to them and has to keep them out of trouble. Does so with great amounts of complaining. (said friend group consists of two Chaotic Neutrals and two Chaotic Goods)
Option 4; Helen (Golden City WIP)
Daughter of nobles, grew up in court and always felt stifled by it. Met a woman who ran a carnival one day and discovered a) there is a language people have with their HANDS (she's deaf) and b) carnivals are much more fun than the court. Proceeded to leave with said carnival a few days later.
Option 5; Shannon (Golden City WIP)
One of the protagonists of The Golden City. Likes books. Would probably fight you over books, and would win, because he is also good at fighting. Quite intelligent, though he doesn't have the charismatic energy of his older twin Felix.
Option 6; Bricriu (Golden City WIP)
Charisma 12/10. That's it. That is all I am going to say.
Choice 7; Valentin (Golden City WIP)
One of the protagonists of The Golden City, very nice. He's quite streetwise and not very naive, but he is very optimistic. Aggressively so, even. Probably the only main character I've written so far who doesn't need therapy.
This took a while to compile, but it was really fun haha. :)

So I’ve been trying to find out why so many people think that the Jedi suppress their emotions, and I have a couple thoughts.
First, I’ve never felt anything weird about the way the Jedi treat and express emotions, but I’m not a very outwardly emotional person, and honestly it feels weird to see so many people react so negatively to characters who don’t express emotions “normally.”
Second, may I suggest that when we see the Jedi react to things, they aren’t suppressing/avoiding/bottling up/ignoring so much as…. reacting and processing their feelings very quickly and effectively? As a result of years of practice, training, and discipline? The mark of a very emotionally healthy person, in that they can process and then move on to decision making at high speeds? Many times we see Jedi characters quickly experience, process, close their eyes, take a deep breath, and take action, now clearheaded, and then process their feelings more deeply and fully later, when they have time.

Damian is learning that his siblings are more#three-dimensional than he realized and that is part of this 'coming of age' story merged with fairytale#so I can't be mad at the oversimplistic defining of Dick and Jason and Tim until the conclusion of the series. that might be the point.#I hope that the series will address Steph as a Robin but if not then frankly it's not an issue unique to this series.#I'll be annoyed and disappointed but ultimately roll with it like I am with Babsgirl being here. There's too much good stuff here to get#hung up on shit that seems to be almost an editorial mandate at this point. at least that's where I'm at.#I am also very sorry that Chip Zdarsky is massacring your boy. he has 'X (Tim for him) is the best Robin so everyone else must suck' diseas#where a writer really likes one specific Robin and in trying to uplift them demeans all of the other Robins. instead of like...just writing#for that one character only or alternatively not demeaning the other characters in order to make his blorbo look good#it's wild because I actually think his writing for Tim is pretty solid. but he's not writing a Tim series. he's writing a Batman series.#and if you are going to write a Batman series and include other Batfamily members you need to actually write them well.#instead of assigning them like 2 personality traits while Tim gets to be a whole character#I accept that behavior in fanfic where I have lesser standards because it's fucking free. not a comic run that wants me to pay#tens of dollars in order to understand what the fuck is going on. he's been going for a while now it's gotta be a lot of money.#I can buy Steelworks with that money. I can see John Henry and Natasha Irons in a trade. Fuck you Chip.#it's why it takes such a special person to write a good ensemble story/a good Batfamily story. you have to be good at writing a LOT#of different characters. which I don't think most people are. I sure as hell am not. I can write maybe 3 at a time confidently well.#and you also have to give all of them at least SOME love or else people will be upset that you aren't focusing on their fave#and also the writing as a whole will suffer. Chip Zdarsky is a pretty good Tim writer. and so the bottled joy cpn saga continues….
started from them using suspiciously similar bottles from the brand and both with lemon water on it. then it continued onto other things that made turtles 🤨. apparently it doesn’t end there and they have no chill. i’m still 50/50 on these but i won’t say that i don’t appreciate it.
so it all started up with a post done by the brand that featured some of their products last 5/23 ( ai zhan ). two of those are color red & green — which is the combined fan colors of xz and wyb + what looks like a yellow one? some turtles were clowning lightly ( joking — why are you posting our family picture? ) but apparently, these upset a few so/os to the point that one complained and the brand ( through customer service most likely ) apologized. which is pretty standard tbh. it doesn’t prove any “loyalty” to a fan group or what. tho i’m pretty sure the brand appreciates so/os — it’s kinda expected that they will apologize for any “inconvenience” they caused a customer no matter how ridiculous it is.
anyway, going back. people discovered that the day before the video, they posted an article of their collab with li-ning ( which zz endorses ) at 18:23 ( yibo ai zhan ) — then as if that wasn’t enough, a collab with loreal with a blue bottle ( which is the sort of the color of the container in loreal pro ads ). i doubt the endorsers get much say in this kind of business of collabs but the fact that it’s both theirs is a nice coincidence.
you would think that they will stop with anything that would associate wyb with xz or cpfs but they didn’t.
5/29, they posted on Weibo, specifically about putting fruits in drinks. “fruits” is a term that cpfs call themselves. So is this an acknowledgement? What’s hilarious are the comments on the post. It’s all BXGs showing support and sharing photos of their purchases.
5/31, they decided to play it up with what WYB said on his Chunzhen live event. So they posted a video featuring a drink with frozen lychees ( which wyb said he enjoys ). all good right??? not really. the bgm they used is titled you who love heartily 105 degrees. It is a lot of people’s favorite song but why that? 105. 10/5. plus later, they showed another drink, this time with frozen bayberry which is another popular bjyx cpn. I mean. Are these all coincidences?

most recently, they shared another video using the same filter as ybo’s douyin post. which a lot of cpfs were happy about because of the colors ( which is a cpn i’m not buying cause it’s a popular filter & totally yibo’s style ) — so this is taken again as being in cpf’s favor. 😌😌😌
