toji sat on the bed scrolling through netflix as you were sat at your desk getting ready for a photo shoot you had. “damn, this rubber bands ain’t good for shit.” you mumble, earning a low chuckle from toji. you look back at him with a playful mean mug on your face and turn back to your desk and look into your hair box, sifting through to find more rubber bands. “shit. toji, baby, i’m finna go to the hair store.” you tell your boyfriend, sliding your feet into your house shoes and grabbing your keys.

“lemme come.” toji groans out while trying to get up, throwing the remote onto the bed and he slides into his own nike slides. “hurry up, i’m finna go.” you call out to toji, who was searching for his other shoe. “gimme a second, baby!” he says, smiling to himself when he sees his shoe under the bed. he grabs it and slips it on, walking out of you two’s bedroom with a proud look on his face. “cmon.” you say, a smug look on your face. you open the door and let toji walk out, closing and locking the door before walking down the stairs to make it to your car. you unlock the door to your pink wrapped mercedes benz. you hop into the drivers seat and watch toji struggle to get in due to his size. “get yo big ass in the car!” you yell, leaning over the console with your forearm.

“damn, i’m trying!” he says, finally compressing his body into the passenger seat. you giggle and turn the car on, using your knuckle to insert your key. “why do you wanna go to the hair store with me?” you ask, backing out of the parking lot and driving around a few corners. “because you always get so excited over going and i wanna see what it’s all about.” toji shrugs, a grin appearing on your face when you see the sally beauty sign. “okay okay, don’t let me get nothing else out here ‘cept for some rubber bands.” you say to toji, him nodding along with your words. you take the keys out of the engine and get out, making sure you have everything on you. as soon as you walk in, you’re hit with the smell of hair gel and track glue. you slowly walk around the store in search of rubber bands and occasionally another wig…or a pair of lashes..or some press ons…

“just rubber bands, pretty girl.” toji chuckles, watching you throw other beauty products in the basket.

“yeah yeah.”
