i've seen a lot of people talk about the whole "glitches in the audio means someone's lying" theory, and one thing i find really interesting about that is that apparently there's been only one glitch when lena's talking? which means that there's only one thing she's been lying about, and that's about colin being able to resign.

now, to me, this makes sense. it seems like someone other than lena is in charge of colin's employment, or at least making sure he can't leave. we had both of these lines way back in episode 1:

so, if the glitch theory is true, the only intentional lie lena has told thus far is that colin can leave. which means

things lena kelley has NOT been lying about:

people (other than colin) are able to quit

she wasn't able to join the others at the bar

she's not particularly wealthy

she's been needing someone to step up to "the real job" for a while now

she does not watch television

the theatricality IS necessary

mr. bonzo is a valued asset

screaming helps (they usually like it)

Ice is an unspecified eldritch being. He has an uncanny valley effect on humans that unnerves the majority of the team who in turn can't understand how Libber, Garmadon, and Wu don't feel unsettled by him. Eventually, the teams warms up to him, and though no one becomes as close to him as Libber is, everyone knows they can come to him if they want to hex their ex or get a demon exorcised (sometimes these are one and the same).

Libber is a raijū and though this isn't common knowledge when she joins the elemental masters, news quickly spreads; she isn't great at keeping secrets. She DOES bite and Maya learnt this the hard way.

I love how neferiously hugh laurie delivered his lines in that 5x1 scene where house is blackmailing wilson. because the dialogue could’ve been conveyed in a manner that was obviously facetious and unserious (like the way RSL was playing the scene: “You’d jeopardise a patient—? 😒🙄) but he literally chose to go “If it keeps you here😈👹” in the most deadass, diabolical tone. so the result is that we have house sounding like a genuine psychopath as he threatens to let a woman die and then wilson proving he’s an even BIGGER one by responding with, like, mild exasperation at best. 10/10 dynamic no notes

#I know I yap about this 24/7 but I can’t get over it #I feel like the actors being on such wildly different wavelengths when it comes to hilson is what makes it so REAL #barring the true angst of the early seasons #they’re in different genres altogether sometimes. chef’s kiss #house will say something in a way that is honest to god giving dark romance #and then wilson responds with the air of bugs bunny #and that’s the essence of their characters and relationship as a whole #and probably why they’ve been trapped in a game of gay chicken for 20 years #house md #hilson #house/wilson #greg house #gregory house #james wilson #hatecrimes md #does this make grammatical sense?
