Director William Wyler had auditioned Audrey Hepburn for the role of Princess Ann in Roman Holiday (1953) before she her work in Gigi.
Mr. Wyler was positive that he had discovered a major motion picture star and agreed to put a pause on production until Audrey was available to work on the movie. He described Audrey as "a princess, with so much poise no doubt a result of her dancer's discipline and her mother's aristocratic background. But also, she was the spirit of youth."
Here, Audrey is on the set of Roman Holiday with her co-star Gregory Peck in Rome in 1952.

I am the who when you call, "Who's there?"
I am the wind blowing through your hair
I am the shadow on the moon at night
Filling your dreams to the brim with fright
