From home décor to clothing and even everyday essentials, it’s often easier to shop new. However, the question of whether or not you should buy new has become more of an ethical consideration than ever before.
In a culture of excess, we conscious consumers struggle to cut through the noise. The ease and convenience of having the new now often prevents us from knowing the true impact of an item…
Hi, all! I just wanted to start this blog separate from my art/main blog to share some of my secondhand/thrifted finds!
I've recently become aware about how unsustainable the fast fashion industry is, and in boycotting it, I'm buying most of my clothes and fashion items secondhand.
I hope that by sharing some of the things I find, and coming on this journey with me, I'll encourage some of you to also cut back on the amount that you shop at fast fashion brands, and make more mindful, sustainable choices!
(just as a side note, the purpose of my doing this isn't to shame anyone who relies on fast fashion for their clothing, as I recognise that these types of clothes are cheaper than vintage, for example. this is mainly to help raise awareness of the alternatives out there, and also purely to share the things I find for fun!)
