Here we go, with another case of "You Can Never Tell What's Going on Inside a House." I'm so dazzled, I can't even call it a WTH House. It's a 1905 brick in Chicago, Illinois. There're bds, 2ba, & priced at $650K. Looks a little cramped and dingy, right? Come on in.

Check it out. I swear, if it wasn't for that brass heat vent on the floor on the left, I thought this was taken in black & white photos.

I'm going to say that they took some walls down to open it up, and the mirrored walls were put up to give the illusion of a larger room.

Note the plastic runner so the carpet doesn't get dirty. Look at the lighted Eiffel Tower and is that really a dining table? It looks more like a decorative table.

Hmmm, there are stairs going down to the basement, in the dining room.

Next comes a family room with doors to a deck.

The main bedroom is quite roomy.

Nice newly reno'd bath.

Finished basement - all the mirrors! There's a stove down here, so I'm not thrilled with the wall-to-wall carpeting, b/c believe it or not, this is the kitchen!

Doesn't this look like the house was photographed in black & white?

If I enter a home and don’t see any color, I’m immediately turned off. Notice the floor- it kind of has a path.

Fascinated by the sitting room fireplace- are those curved bricks around the columns? This is a cozy room, but the shelving isn’t built-in, and if they don’t convey, those walls will be pretty bare.
