“What the hell!”
You’re not sure what you were expecting when you asked to spar with Satoru Gojo. To spend twenty or thirty minutes of your time chasing after a basically untouchable foe until he got bored and decisively ended the fight? To get your ass handed to you as he reminded you, once again, of the difference between you and him? To totally and magnificently lose?
What you can say is you definitely weren't expecting to end up pinning the man who holds the title of the world's strongest sorcerer to the ground. You both know it's not due to your skill as a sorcerer or even due some dumb luck. The only reason why you've got Gojo pinned is simply because he's letting you.
And it pisses you off. It's not like you were expecting to win, but this is just…
"What's wrong?" Gojo asks, mocking you with that disgusting saccharine voice of his. "You look upset. I thought you wanted to beat me."
You do your best to remain calm and not respond to his provocations. Even so, your grip on his wrists tightens ever so slightly.
He notices because of course he does and winces dramatically. "Owie!"
"I know it doesn't hurt," you tell him flatly, resisting the urge to squeeze tighter. It won't do anything to him, but maybe it'd make you feel a little better.
"Nope, not one bit!"
Before you can stop it an annoyed growl escapes your throat and Gojo latches onto it, ready and more than willing to weaponize anything he possibly can. “Come on, what’s got you all frustrated? You can tell me, you know?"
Stupid fucking dumbass piece of shit jerk knows exactly why you’re mad. He probably let you get him because he knew how much it’d aggravate you.
“No need to be so shy,” he continues purposely ignoring your growing rage. “We’re friends after all, aren’t we?”
You choose to remain silent and instantly find it’s the wrong response as Gojo starts to prattle on and on about how he thought that you were friends and how sad he is that you, as his friend won't talk to him, won’t rely on him and blah blah blah. He really loves the sound of his own voice, doesn’t he? Normally, you would just tune him out, but your agitation has left you impaired and on edge.
You need Satoru Gojo to shut up.
Like yesterday.
Instinct takes over and your body moves on its own, you pull back just a bit before slamming your head in his direction full force. But the hit doesn’t connect because of course it doesn’t. Instead, you feel like you are just hovering over him like an empty threat that you’ll never make good on.
He laughs and your frustration flashes in your chest hot, agitation at its peak. “You know, if you wanted to kiss , you could have just asked.”
“I do not want to kiss you!” you snarl, refusing to take the accusation in silence.
“Oh? You don’t?”
“Hell no!”
“What a shame! I made sure to put on one of Nobara’s lip masks on last night so my lips would be super soft today!”
In a moment of weakness, your eyes flicker to his mouth and his lips curve upward in a smirk. Fuck. It doesn't matter that it was for just a split second— he caught you looking. You consider accusing him of stealing Kugisaki's skin care products to deflect the accusations that are sure to come but before you can the infinity between you dissipates unexpectedly bringing you mere inches from Gojo's infuriating face.
"Well?" he asks, voice intentionally seductive, his warm breath perfuming your face. You manage to suppress a shiver. It's an act. It's an act. He's just trying to get under your skin. "Wanna see for yourself?"
Your refusal lingers at the tip of your tongue— stuck for some reason you don't care to delve into right now.
"Come on." He almost sounds like he's pleading with you, and you keep reminding yourself that the bastard is just fucking with you. "I promise they're really soft."
Your eyes, traitorous things that they are, try to look again, but you force your gaze upward. Maybe if you try headbutting him again it'll work. There's nothing between you now, right?
No harm in trying.
You shift, trying to conceal your movements as best you can before going in for another headbutt. Surely Gojo will put infinity between you when he realizes that you're trying again, saving you both from what could be a massive headache.
But he doesn't.
You end up stopping yourself this time— your mouths even closer now. Too close. You finally take notice of your heart thumping wildly in your chest, the sound echoing in your ears. You should move. You need to move. Now. If you don't, one weird move from either of you will likely close the distance between you.
It's unfortunate for you that Gojo is a fan of weird moves.
He shifts beneath you, just slightly, his chin tilting up and you feel like a thread that's just snapped in two. You reel backwards, repelled by the thought of kissing Satoru Gojo, rejecting the thought, the notion, that for the breadth of a second your lips connected. It didn't happen. It didn't. You still want to wipe your mouth though, just in case. You don’t because you don’t want him to think that maybe there was contact.
Beneath you, Gojo laughs again, amused as he always is. Unsure of what to expect, you jump off him and assume a defensive stance. He rises so that he's sitting up, and you can't tell for sure with that blindfold but you feel like he's watching you.
"I think that's enough for today," he says, pushing himself to his feet. You eye him nervously, keeping your guard up in case it's a fake out. Gojo walks past you nonchalantly and you think that's confirmation that he really is done for the day.
"It was fun," he remarks cheerfully and the fact that it sounds like he means it annoys you a little. Then, his voice drops as he adds, "We should do it again some time."
The way his voice sounds makes it seem like you've just wrapped up a date and not a fight. It makes you feel funny inside and you scowl as you turn to face him, fully intending to tell him to shut up.
But you don't.
Satoru Gojo instead blows you a kiss, immobilizing you before he saunters out the door looking far too pleased with himself.
You stare, your heartbeat erratic and your face warmed by what you're determined to call rage.

Backstory: Fabian was born in a poverty stricken area of the Port o’Bliss to two loving parents. Tragically, they passed away when Fabian was around four years old and left him to fend for himself on the streets. Fabian learned to trust his gut and to do anything he could to survive such as pickpocketing to eating food straight out of the trash. It was on one of those pickpocketing runs when he was 13 that he was caught by the police who hit him relentlessly and sent him into the local orphanage. Fabian didn’t mind the orphanage that much, it had okay food, other children to talk to, and a roof over his head. It was in this orphanage that he learned he had a knack for storytelling, sharing stories with the other kids long into the night to help them all sleep. Unfortunately he didn’t stay there long til he was fostered by a wealthy couple. The couple was nothing but cruel to young Fabian, forcing him to sleep in the basement, beating him up, forcing him to eat rotten leftovers if he misbehaved, and so much more. Fabian knew he had to get out of this house so one night, he fled the house and wound up back at the orphanage. He begged and pleaded to be let back in. Thankfully, the begging and pleading worked and he was released from his foster parent’s care. Fabian stayed just a little bit more at the orphanage until he was adopted by a sweet older woman who he affectionately calls “Nana.” She was like an angel to him, teaching him life skills and magic. Later on, he was accepted into NRC and was sorted into Octanivelle

hi! i'm fabi. i want to join the 3d tumblr community and share my journey with people going through similar things:)
as i’d like to keep my identity safe, i'll ask you guys to call me fabi even though it's not my real name, just a pseudonym.
i've always had struggles with my body and food in general, although i've never been diagnosed with an ed.
i consider myself fat (like ACTUALLY fat) and i hate to feel that way. there's nothing wrong with any type of body tho; I'd love to have a safe space in here for everyone, no matter your size!
i am approximately 70kg and id like to lose 10/15kg at least. i'm not looking for an unhealthy looking body, just a skinny, good looking one. i want to feel light and lose my face and body fat.

Spaceverse Phanos / Gaia sketches!
This features a lot of paineater characters hailing from Phanos, or folks that currently live there too, along with some characters who originally came from Gaia. This category has a lot of overlap with the tons of Faer sketches that are coming up, as a lot of characters have moved from one planet to the other over the course of the RP, and family ties stretch across both. Sketches that were already in a previous batch or saved for the Faer ones won't be included here for now.
In order, we have: Tarsus, Agneta aka Nettie, Thea, Titus, Kara, Diana (dating Al from Phanos), Cyrus, Kyra, Tigerlily (her mother Dahlia moved to Phanos and married Cyrus), Damon, Magnus, Fiona, Eamon, Cassian Ketos (from Faer, but just happened to be on this page), Rory, Divya (also a Faer character), Donovan, his daughter Hazel, older Hazel and Kara, Hazel with Kara again, Jean Paul (from Gaia), Helena, Titus, Adam with his kids Luisa, Dawa and Tiago (aka Tiggy), Adam with Tiggy, Adam solo, , Corrine, and Seamus.
Then we have some older sketches, including: Adam with his mom Athena (in previous verse, her name was Anna), his dad Tyran, Tarsus, Tyran and Adam using their powers, Anton, Dr. Dorian with his daughter Marta (Gaian but they later move to Phanos), Alex and Fabi Dionne (ditto), an older Alex, Kliff, Pauline, Jean Paul, Pauline, and Ernesto (in this verse, he's a phantasm from Illumina, but this is an older sketch of him from an older story.) These still need Spaceverse AU versions, but I wanted to archive these older drawings for reference.

Tørrfall are a Norwegian trio who've been playing together since (at least) 2020, recorded their self-titled debut live in August 2021, but just released it this past March. Vocals and synthesizer are provided by Nils Erga (Noxagt, Burning Axis), bass by Kristoffer Riis (Golden Oriole, Staer), and drums by Thore Warland (Golden Oriole, Staer, Burning Axis). Dusted’s Ian Mathers summed up their self-described “psychedelic water music” as “a bad-trip, submarine cousin of the Necks’ Drive By.” Here, all three members talk about 10 releases that could have influenced the Tørrfall record.

Nils: The Norwegian broadcasting company, NRK, used to have excellent radio DJs. I believe I only heard this song once upon release, and as a nine-year-old boy, I never caught who sang it, what it was called, or what the lyrics were all about. And then it was gone! But the impossibly catchy melody of the chorus – the song is essentially one single mantra-like, cascading chorus – never left me, and as I grew older, I would replay it in my head repeatedly, hundreds and hundreds of times. In 1999, Jim O'Rourke did a cover version, which I accidentally got to hear, and I was stunned. There it was again, finally! That song!

Nils: Growing up in the Stavanger region in the 1980s, the UK was never far away. Back then, you could hop on the ferry to Newcastle or fly directly to London or Aberdeen (you'd be there in an hour or so). My older sister brought this back from one of her trips to the Thatcher Empire. Back then, I loved all that 4AD stuff, but in hindsight, Cocteau Twins were the best of all the then-current acts she so generously introduced me to. And Elisabeth Fraser never sounded more lost, more gothic, more out-of-this-world than on this one (the Treasure LP that came out the same year is rather wonderful too). Dream pop, indeed.
Basic Channel et al. — Any 12" under any moniker (Basic Channel, 1990s)

Nils: I can't remember the first Basic Channel-related 12" that I heard, but I remember becoming instantly hooked – what is this sound? – so I started collecting everything I could find during those early days of the Internet. When listening to this music now, whether it's Main Street, Maurizio, Basic Channel or Rhythm & Sound (preferably loudly and on big speakers), I still feel like time is slowly dissolving. Or it bends and can no longer be trusted. And often, continuing down this path of truly psychedelic techno, I still find myself lost in the strangely lit woods of Wolfgang Voigt's late 90s GAS records, which are equally transcendental.
Steely Dan — Gaucho (MCA, 1980)

Nils: Hey Nineteen! I first heard this record in my early twenties, and back then, the whole Steely Dan vibe didn't appeal much, nor did it make much sense. But I knew they were named after a William Burroughs-invented "artefact", so I gathered there had to be something there. It turns out there was, in spades (check out Donald and Walter's open letters to celebrities whose careers they worry about for further reading). Anyway, Steely Dan is now my favourite band for watching waves roll by from the balcony, closely followed by early ZZ Top. And this is their magnum opus, in my humble opinion. The Royal Scam and Aja aren't far off, though.
Armando Sciascia — After the End (Suite For String Orchestra & Synthesizer) (Vedette Records, 1971)

Kristoffer: Armando Sciascia, the Abruzzese custodian of the whole-tone scale. While some of his output during the 60s and 70s is admittedly quite stylized with its particular and sometimes overstated tonality, this album strikes a balance between classical principle and impious mischief, while being texturally tantalizing with its fine Italian blend of acoustic and synthetic arrangements. A bit hard to come by, although some of the tracks were available on the 1972 compilation Infini alongside Fabio Fabor on the slightly more obtainable Musique Pour L'Image imprint.
Camille Sauvage — Fantasmagories (Editions Montparnasse 2000, 1974)

Kristoffer: In some ways, Camille Sauvage was a French counterpart to Armando Sciascia, but with a markedly different sense of melody all his own. Sauvage composed some richly decorated harmonic showpieces that characterize this period in his discography, either under his real name or one of several pseudonyms, notably Eric Framond—and the orchestration was almost always over-the-top with shrill Edda Dell'Orso-esque vocals and screeching brass that nearly couldn't contain itself. On Fantasmagories, however, he shows a more nocturnal and contemplative side, really damp and littered with fragments of this and that.
Marcos Valle — Vento Sul (Odeon, 1972)

Kristoffer: While there is no shortage of Brazilian contenders with Edu Lobo, Gilberto Gil, Caetano Veloso, Os Mutantes and the lot, I regularly return to this one. It's Marcos Valle's best in my opinion, and there's not much more to be said about it. A really strong and playful MPB album.
Philip Glass — Music with Changing Parts for Ensemble (Chatham Square Editions, 1971)

Thore: The relentless electric organ stuff that Philip Glass did in the late 60s and early 70s I really like. This one is with saxophones, trumpet, violin, flutes and voices.
Boyd Rice — Boyd Rice (Mute, 1981)

Ellis - Ellis absolutely adores the nicknames from Fennec and Dragiselle! Even though they’re slight alterations to her name, Ellis loves the nicknames “El” or “Elly!” Ellis finds the nickname “Pinky” to be oddly funny to her! Ellis absolutely loves the nickname “Princess” and just finds it plain adorable! “Beloved” and “My cherished” are just a guaranteed way to get Ellis to feel flustered! Ellis would call Fennec “Greeny” to get back at the “Pinky” but she would also call him “Fen” or just by his regular name! Ellis would call Dragiselle “Dragi” or “Selle!” Not very creative but that’s just what Ellis would do!
Artemis - Artemis likes being called dear or honey! She finds it kind of cute in fact! Before Fabio, Artemis was never really used to these sweet and lovey dovey nicknames so when she was first called them, she was very confused! She tends to tease Fabio by calling him those nicknames in return! Artemis calls Fabio “Fabi” or just by his regular name!
Gwen - Gwen is absolutely flustered by both Kome and Inessa’s nicknames for her! Being called “Snowflake” is just too sweet for Gwen so she tends to get extra flustered! The nickname “Gweny” is one of her personal favorites but she won’t tell others! “My lucky charm” is another surefire nickname to get Gwen to be flustered as well! Gwen isn’t much of a nickname person, rather being very formal, she would call Inessa “Miss Inessa” and would call Kome “Miss Kome” but after a while, she would call them by their regular name!
Hikari - Hikari is definitely not used to more lovey dovey nicknames but he welcomes them from Eve! Hikari finds the nickname “My special one” to be very unique to him! Starly is another unique nickname to Hikari but it’s a welcome nickname! He doesn’t mind Eve calling him by these nicknames. Kari is also a nickname he’s used to before but he doesn’t mind! Hikari would call Eve “Robot guy” at first but then call him just “Eve”
Hoshiko - Hoshiko absolutely adores the nicknames that Media gives her! Cherries are one of her favorite foods and just being called cherrypie is just plain sweet! Hoshiko is already used to the nickname Hoshi but she doesn’t mind it one bit! Hoshiko would call Media “Med” or “Medi!”
Astrid - Astrid likes the nicknames from Emil! Though roses aren’t Astrid’s favorite flower, she likes the nicknames “Rose” from him! Astrid also enjoys the nickname “Doll” as it just sounds so lovely to her somehow! Like Artemis, Astrid tends to tease Emil a bit with calling him those nicknames as well! A nickname that Astrid would call Emil is “Emi!”
Ivy - Ivy finds the nicknames April gives her just plain adorable! Ivy just feels so touched whenever April calls her by those nicknames! “Blossom” is one of her favorites! Blossoms are just some of her favorite things so being called that is just too sweet! “Dear Flower” is a nickname that Ivy loves being called as well! It’s just so lovely to be called that! Ivy would call April nicknames such as “April showers” or “My daisy”
