Then I realised I don't usually give Five's clothes much colour and had an aneurysm, the unicorn bag Did Not want to behave itself and got redesigned 3 times. okay but...viktor would have so much compassion. like, yes, in general, he wants to make the world a better, kinder place, he wants people to have better living conditions, but -- personally? with the people close to him? he would care about them so much. he would care about their emotions and their well-being and he would just Get It, right? he knows what it's like to struggle. he Understands. because he's been there! he's been through some shit! and --

you know, i've just been thinking about viktor with a chronically ill/disabled significant other lately. because! he would be so understanding, okay? he would be so kind. he knows what it's like! and he cares, he's passionate, he wants to help! and he knows what going through medical stuff can be like, especially if getting help is difficult, he knows what it's like to not get the help you need, to have to fight for it, to suffer for it. because sometimes it is shitty! he knows! he gets it! and he would do anything he can to minimize the suffering of the people he cares about! it's a peak "us against the world" type of situation!

and -- yes, he's still disabled, he still has to spend time and energy looking after himself. but that doesn't mean he wouldn't easily extend intense compassion to other people the way abled people so rarely do.

sure, he might not show it in the most traditional ways. he might just silently do something he thinks might help, instead of excessively & audibly reacting to problems. he might just quietly make the space more comfortable, or offer practical help, or just...understand without having to be lectured about it. maybe he would just quietly do research.

but he would be compassionate, and kind, and supportive, because he knows what it's like, and he wants to help if he can.

i'm just. he would be so good, you know?

i love these “he should’ve been at the club” posts. because to me, the epitome of that is jayce talis. once he got even a little bit well-known, the people of piltover probably wondered why he wasn’t at the club.

so a reply i got on my mordecai post yesterday confused the hell out of me. now to be clear i'm not even close to shipping atlas and mordecai together, at most i just made an observation that There Were Perhaps One-Sided Emotions Here bc that's the vibes i got from mordecai's dedication and his whole thing with mitzi. but anyway i got this in my notifications:

no hate to this person btw that's why i censored the url but, look. not to be that guy. but if you're going to say that atlas was a father figure to mordecai, and then also ship mordecai and viktor, you should really check the character page. because viktor is only two years younger than atlas, and putting one as a parental figure and one as a love interest is Kind of Weird!

when mordecai started working for lackadaisy, he was around 21 and viktor was around 34. i don't mean this as an anti-viktor/mordecai post by any means, but i wanted to point this out bc i'm not sure how many people are actually aware of the characters' ages and the double standard is bugging me all to hell

Imagine if they reworked Viktor and made him available in support. Actually horrifying (i would play that)

one of my fav things about until my feet bleed and my heart aches is how it worked in and reimagined iconic moments from the show itself, like not that they’re the first person ever to do that ofc not, but i think it works really really well for this fic. i finished it days ago and i’m still thinking about it tbh, all those little moments. the tie pulling, for instance.

the love for s1e5 i'm seeing on my dash is so lovely, because that episode is not really something special. it doesn't have any of the truly blockbusting iconic tua moments (except for like. maybe one meme moment, but that one got outdone by s2). what it does have going for itself is some of the, if not the, best writing in the entire show. it fleshes out so many characters and adds depth to a plethora of them. it's almost entirely a character-driven, character-exploration episode and seeing so many people express their love for it really makes me happy
