seungcheol- i don’t think he likes it tbh. seems like he’d prefer to pull yours himself if you’re into it but once you pull his all of a sudden his scalp is super sensitive and he starts to whine
jeonghan- bro cmon. bro has had luscious long hair SO many times in his life, you think its for nothing? surely he’s found more to get out of it other than looking fabulous. a subtle tug on them tresses and he’s acting like a bitch in heat, groaning with a lazy smile on his face.
joshua- i think his reaction depends on when and how hard you do it. say you’re making out and your hand just ends up in that fabulous mullet, then it’s tolerable. but if you guys are actually fucking and you pull his hair, oh baby prepare to have your shit beat UP.
jun- hes such a cat omg. i think he likes having his hair played with in general. no matter what you do to it he’ll lean into your hand to get as much from you as possible. regardless of your intentions for pulling his hair, he’ll always softly melt into the feeling.
hoshi- do it in bed and the fucker growls. yeah, growls. at you. may even roar. idk there’s not much else to say but uh yeah he likes it.
wonwoo- finds it funny tbh. he’s so used to being the one manhandling you that when you do something remotely aggressive to him it just seems adorable to him. he could be balls deep in you and will literally just giggle when you pull his hair after fixing his glasses that got fucked up from you doing so.
woozi- does NOT like it. he doesn’t care how long his hair gets he would greatly appreciate it if you treat it with care. you can massage his scalp at the most, but pull it and you are probably getting the silent treatment.
dk- he would turn into a sub immediately. you just get a good grip on that shit and pull his head down towards yours, GIRL. whimpering, moaning in a high pitch tone, calling you whatever pet name you want and treating you with whatever you desire, the whole shabang.
mingyu- challenges you. he’s a fucking giant, and could punish or throw you around so easily from doing it. but because he knows that’s what you expect, that’s what you want, he won’t give you that just yet. you can pull it attempting to assert some fake dominance and get a rise out of him and this motherfucker just says “harder”. you oblige, he says it again just to see the shock fall onto your face.
minghao- his scalp is so sensitive from all the dyeing that any pulling hurts so he probably wouldn’t be the biggest fan. that and i just think he values his hair a lot. he wouldn’t be mad but would kindly tell you to let go.
seungkwan- it also hurts him but he likes it. if he’s eating you out, he is doing it with vigor just to get you to tug on it in ecstasy. with that incentive in mind he always does his best when working his tongue on you, and pulling his hair just makes him feel so rewarded and makes him reward you as well.
vernon- he’d be shocked that you did it. its never even been brought up but out of nowhere you did it. discovers that he might like it but won’t say it. he’ll freeze and just HOPE you do it again sometime.
dino- LOVES IT, but would never admit it despite you knowing full and damn well. if he’s fucking you and you pull his hair, he will groan at the top of his lungs and just pause to try and stop himself from coming too fast. almost gets angry because he knows what you’re doing, but again he can’t say anything about it because he would never admit it.

lalo is gay. im not even remotely sorry but look at him. he has no interest in women and he never did. that was probably a real blow to hector's ego. he was raising lalo (and the other cousins later on) to take over the business, to be strong, to be a man. and in his eyes, lalo's sexuality was a weakness, a weakness that had to be beaten.
and in the spirit of helping him beat his weakness, lalo probably got the shit beat out of him throughout his childhood anytime he did something fruity. it was to show him what strength is, what he was supposed to be.
obviously, his sexual orientation wasn't changing. you cannot beat the gay out of someone. but he changed in other ways.
if his sexuality was a flaw, a weakness, then he would have to compensate for it. he could not show weakness in any other aspect of his life. ever. he could not let anything hurt him. he trained himself not to cry. if someone called him a faggot, he'd say "damn right!" and laugh it off. anytime he felt fear or sadness, he'd mold it into anger instead.
i'd imagine that he spent most of his adolescence/young adulthood trying to prove he could be strong in spite of his orientation. and in the salamanca family, strong means ruthless, brutal. there was probably some incident where he proved himself to be just as vicious as anyone else, and that earned him his uncle's respect. he still wasn't thrilled that his nephew was gay, but he didn't resent him for it anymore. he accepted that was just how he was.
as lalo grew up, he grew more comfortable being soft in certain aspects. he would still never cry, but he let himself enjoy moments of vulnerability.
i think his love language would be acts of service. cooking for you, giving you gifts, little things he can do to show you how much he cares. he tends to be more of a giver, but he likes to get spoiled on occasion :3 he may be a brat about it first tho

And yeah definitely! It's going to be a high risk pregnancy from the start, so that's going to be a pretty major plot point. It might not necessarily impact his physical health a lot, but it will definitely be a huge factor in his and Max's mental health and the health of their relationship. With the amount of trouble his mom had when carrying him, they're both managing expectations on whether or not he'll be able to even carry the baby to term.

You sighed in frustration as you pulled the curtain back over treatment room 4, a patient that had been told that his tricuspid valve wasn’t working properly, who had denied treatment 6 months earlier was back in wanting the surgery to fix it. You walked up to Maggie, “could you page Dr Bekker for a consult please?” Maggie raised an eyebrow at you, “anything to see your girlfriend.” You smiled and slapped her lightly on the hand, “sure, whatever you think.” You had started to walk off to go get a drink while you waited as Maggie called out after you, “you know I’m right!”
As you finished logging off your patient files you saw Ava coming towards you with her iPad in hand. “Dr Bekker,” you smiled teasingly, “Dr Y/L/N” she greeted back in her delectable accent that made butterflies flutter about your tummy. “I have a patient, he was here 6 months ago for a valve repair but declined, he’s now back and wants the repair done. I know you were the one to see him last time soo..” you rambled, “do you have an updated Echo?” “Yup, here” you popped the p and sent her the echo results.
She studied them hard, and you couldn’t help but admire the focused look on her face, it was just so cute in your opinion. “He’s not an ideal candidate, he needs the whole valve replaced now.” Ava said, looking up from her ipad. You nodded, already aware of that, “I’ll go talk to him anyways, are you coming?” Ava asked and you nodded and walked beside her.
Opening the curtain to treatment room 4 both you and Ava slipped in, closing it again. “Mr Kelly, we’ve met before, I’m Dr Bekker. Dr Y/L/N has called me in for a consult.” The man nodded, “we ordered another Echocardiogram for you on arrival and unfortunately the valve is much passed repair and will need replaced. Now we can-“ “I don’t want that.” He bluntly interrupted.
You could see Ava’s train of thought break as she stumbled to explain herself, “Mr Kelly, I’m afraid the damage to your valve has got to the point where it’s unrepairable, that is why you would need a replacement, since it’s still a minimally invasive procedure the surgical risks are still the same if that’s what you were worried about.” “I think your misunderstanding me Doctor, I do not consent.” The man continued, and you cringed as Ava blew out a silent, frustrated huff. She grit her teeth as she spoke, “That is up to you sir but there is nothing more I can do for you,” she paused, “Dr L/n can I talk to you for a minute.” You nodded to her and she closed the curtain behind her, “I’ll be back in a moment Mr Kelly.”
You swallowed as you tried to keep your throat from tightening. Turning the corner to where you knew Ava would be waiting for you, you closed your eyes as you rounded the corner to prepare your explanation, “Ava he told me that he had reconsidered the surgery, I didn’t know this was going to happen.”
You knew that you had taken her away from her rounds with her current patients, even though she was on call, you still felt bad. “Stop Y/n!” You say Ava lift her hand to beside your head and your eyes widened before squeezing tightly. You practically cowered below your girlfriend, waiting for the impact, that you just knew was going to come… but it didn’t.
“Y/n baby?” Ava’s voice filled with concern as you peeked open your eyes, quickly realising your mistake and straightened your cowering posture out again. “Did you think I was going to hit you?” You couldn’t meet her eyes and just stared at the ground, cheeks blushing red from embarrassment. You hoped no one else had seen your little panic. “N/n” she said, pulling her chin up with her fingertips so you were looking directly at you. “I will never harm you! Do you hear me?” Her voice was caring yet cold, causing a shiver to run down your spine.“I don’t know what caused that reaction but I hope whoever it was is in hell.”
Ava pulled you into a hug, “I’m sorry, love” you couldn’t help but soak into her embrace, knowing that the uncomfortable conversation would be opposing some of your deepest kept secrets. “I love you, N/n and never forget it.”

I should probably preface this by stating I've never been a fan of a Star Wars redemption story.
So, with regards to your question, that's not for me. Trilla surviving undoes her arc which I find very narratively satisfying. She cannot overcome her own worst instincts. She cannot face her trauma head on and find a way past it.
And she's being confronted by someone who's doing exactly that. Cal should be even more of a failure than she is, except he isn't. Unlike Cal, Trilla has let the past define her. She's terrified of Vader because she's still a frightened Padawan who is terribly out of her depth. She cannot and will not admit it. Trilla spends all that time goading Cal because she's jealous of what he's capable of. She has gone through so much, and despite her strength, speed and abilities, she cannot beat him.
In her final moments, had she turned to fight Vader or attempted to defend Cere and Cal from him, it also would have diminished her character arc. She is Cal's opposite, the dark to his light. Not every character gets to be a hero. Not ever arc ends with triumph. Trilla might be put on a good show, but she cannot face her own cowardice. Cere and Cal can and do.
Their successes are further proof of her failure.
You could argue that Trilla's slowly coming to a realisation at the end about where her choices have led her, but she never turns back. Her dying words are of vengeance, not forgiveness. Trilla's arc ends the only way it can. Her and Cere reach a funny kind of peace. That's the best either of them can hope for.
So nope, no AUs from me I'm afraid! They don't tend to be for me...
...except maybe that Seeker Cere does in fact find baby Cal. That one is still poking at me...

I can’t sleep so naturally I rewatched ShogunMaitoh’s scenes to pass the time (your enthusiastic screaming about them got me to watch the show in the first place and I’m glad I did, it’s a precious little show) and the language nerd in me started to wonder about something.
Maitoh uses phi to refer to Shogun and it got me thinking if he would ever switch to hia? I could see it happening with Maitoh either using it as a joke at first and both of them realising that they actually really like it, or Maitoh using it as a way of flirting, being affectionate and/or teasing. I also feel like it would only happen in private at first and if Maitoh ever started to use hia in public as well it would happen gradually, unlike with Team who ran with Hia Win and never looked back. 😂 Any thoughts?

yeah no i literally think maitoh would probably call him hia a few months down the line into their relationship, especially when he starts hanging out / sleeping over at shogun's place more and more frequently, and he sees the exact way namwah says "hiiiiiaaaaaaaa" when she wants something from shogun or is tryna make up with him, and he sees how SOFT shogun is and how EASILY he just .... gives in to his little sister .....
so he keeps that in mind and then one time maitoh wants shogun to finish work early in the studio but shogun's all "listen Babe i NEED to finish this" and maitoh just literally WHINES "hiiiiiaaaaaaaaaaa", and that Literally has shogun PAUSE and turn slowly to face maitoh who has the BIGGEST doe eyed look on his face, and he says it again, and again, and he's now Literally just smirking at shogun and then says "oh? does hiiiaaa not have work to finish now?" before walking out of the studio and heading Straight to shogun's bedroom.
SO YES. and they keep it between themselves for a bit and shogun ADOOOORES it when maitoh calls him hia (for the Very Same Reasons that win has when team calls him hia)
until one day they're with everyone and they're having band practice and shogun wants them to run through it again but maitoh knows that this is just shogun wanting it to be Perfect Perfect when its already good enough anyway. so he just whines "ohhh hiiiiaaaaa i'm tired!! .... " and EVERYONE's just like.

and maitoh does That Thing he does when he gets shy, looks down and purses his lips together and has that little smile, before he looks up to see shogun who's just. Looking At Him. and his ears are literally RED like they were when they first kissed. and he somehow manages to say "uh yeah okay thats enough for today." and everyone just sorta Gets The Hint and leaves.
and maitoh just shrugs his shoulders with sooo much casual confidence when shogun looks at him again, and then teases him and asks "what's wrong, hiiiia?". bc yeah, what is there to hide now anyway? everyone knows. everyone knoooows.
uhhhh and what can shogun do anyway! like he's sooooo FOND OF and ENDEARED BY maitoh he GIVES in to him EVERYTIME. he is Literally his BABY the APPLE OF HIS EYE.
SO YEAH. shogun just ends up shaking his head with the biggest grin on his face, walks up to maitoh who's sat behind his drums, takes his face in his hands, and replies,
"nothing. nothing's wrong. besides, i like it when you call me hia. but you already know that."

hii kyo it’s been soo long! i hope you’re totally healthy now 🤍🤍🤍
i’ve been working on my summer courses… i’ve gotten kind of behind so now i have soo much work to make up. it’s fine bc i can catch up. this weekend will just be a little long for me ^^;; it’s okay though bc i don’t have much to do. anyway i might get new clothes soon. i haven’t in a while, so that’ll be nice. + i’m not using heat on my hair anymore bc it’s a little fried rn +_+ i forgot how much nicer i look with my hair a little curly instead of straightened. i just get too lazy to care for it ig!
earlier i was feeding the kitten spaghetti… she’s always wants everything?? we constantly have to chase her away from our food. she loves egg yolks and raw chicken and cheese the most, but she also loves bread rolls and sauces and fish. she won’t eat kitty treats, though.. she’s so chubby rn because she’s about to grow again! she gets really fat before she has a growth spurt it’s so cute ^^
what have you been listening to lately? i looove sunmi’s two new songs. i think i lean toward that style of music a lot. have you seen the mv? it’s so fun and all the sets were so pretty ✨ i’ve been listening to feel my rhythm a lot too! then twice’s japanese music, and aimer.

yes, the ducks at the pond are pretty friendly! well, i haven’t visited them since before covid…. there are some geese though and they’re pretty evil. i should visit again sometime. there’s like, a bunch of playgrounds and paths and lots of shade. it’s really nice tbh.
yeah, we have lots of shops here. target, a mall, lots of boba and coffee shops. we have a little anime merch shop, which i really like. and thankfully, they’re so normal. it’s a little family business, and they market to families, so they don’t have all the creep shit lol. i really love little anime figures.. i think they’re so cute. i don’t like to buy things much, but i actually do really love like nendos and mini figures.
