"Bullion Hidden In Washer," Montreal Star. October 8, 1943. Page 21. --- VANCOUVER, Oct. 8 - (C. P.)-- How $10,000 worth of gold stolen from the Yukon Consolidated Gold Corporation was shipped from the Klondike to nearby Mission, B.C., concealed in the gears of a washing-machine, was disclosed yesterday by Royal Canadian Mounted Police.

Donald William Duncan, who shipped the machine to his wife at Mission, was convicted Wednesday at Dawson, Y.T., of stealing the gold and sentenced to four years in penitentiary, police said.

His wife knew nothing of the case, they said, and the machine was still in the crate in which it had been shipped south.

Police said further arrests are expected at Dawson and at Whitehorse, Y.T. Inspector James Fripp. of the R.C.M.P., said information leading to the discovery of the cache of gold at Mission was given by Duncan following his arrest at Dawson.

Police found 300 ounces of gold in four sacks stuffed in the gears of the washing machine. Several pounds more gold, were found in Duncan's baggage when he was arrested, police said.

I think it’s be funny to have a Spider-Man that is genuinely just a kid, not like a teenager or a kid who understands the gravity of his abilities but a kid who does heroics simply because that’s cool to a kid.

The gimmick is that the villains think it’s a gimmick and Spider-Man(?) fucks with them by acting like a kid to make ‘em feel bad or embarrass them only for them to realize he’s a literal child due to a forced team up where they like offer him a brewski afterwards and he’s legitimately like “Mr I am 9 years old, I just do this cause my aunt can’t take me to the park every afternoon.” And they grill him on adult things and he sits there just blanking cause he’s fucking 9.

#uncle Ben dies still but it’s not Peters fault but he ends up idolizing super hero’s hard #cause he believes that if one got there in time he could’ve been saved and dreamed of being the hero to do it #and then he got bit on a school feild trip to an oscorp sponsored science center where a mysterious new breed of spider was being shown and #got out and being the brave boy he is he found and caught it but not before being bit #all the villains are the same age if not a tad younger give or take a year #and they alls are like does that new hero seem a little childish? yeah he acts like a 4th grader and peters like #um actually a 5th grader 🤓#he’d still be scarily smart for a kid his age cause the villains are only slightly more forgiving in this version #all his friends are his age and he’s a paper boy for the daily bugle instead and he would end his adventures reading the paper about his #exploits like his very own comic book and he sends in pictures of himself doing dumb stuff as a joke but Jameson is like #this ten year old is our best photographer and Eddie ‘grown ass has beef with a kid’ Brock hates him #like tbh only harry mj gwen and his high school mates are his age villains are adults cause it’s funnier #peter parker #peter b parker #spider-man #spiderman #spidersona #Spiderverse #a technicality but yeah #Spider-Man(?) au #I’m gonna think about this for a bit

#my blog is in his last year of middle school. he'll be off to high school next year (at least I think so..? 13 yrs old is usually 8th grade #at least from my experience. 9th graders are usually 14. 10th are 15. etc. etc. and then you're in 12th grade #and graduate high school usually 17yrs old.) ANYWAY.. wow he is so ancient..#maybe he's still in a preteeny early teen emo phase or something.. I hope he gets some black and white striped armwarmers and black eyeline #r for his birthday. Maybe an MP3 player of course. Though because I don't really like most alternative music and he is my son he's actually #not allowed to listen to metal or pop punk or emo rock whatever stuff. I open the mp3 player and pre-stock it with only #disco and funk and classical music. he can have a little chiptune or techno stuff as a treat (sometimes emo adjacent maybe more #scene. I think a lot of scene kids were into that more.. emo's weird eccentric brother))#Also he starts taking iron pills his 13th birthday because he's probably incredibly anemic just like me #so on and so forth and et cetera (I'm just being silly.. I am not pro-controlling your children down to whatmusic they #listen to or etc.etc. lol)#THOUGH I love that it's in january... january is one of my favorite months if not my favorite. yeeaaay #just such a nice cool month. I like that it's the start of the year mostly and that it's sometimes snowy here. Like where I live nov - dec #isnt really actually snowy?? You always associate those winter Months with snow but I think snow happens later on this coast #so it's more like Jan - March or even april sometimes. Though that may just be climate change lol.. But it's cool that Jan is winter AND #ACTUALLY snowy. plus the Beginning Of Year vibes and energy.. hrm... nice nice.. ANYWAY #AND this is not even my first tumblr blog. I had a different one before it I think..#evviilll to be on one website for so long lol.. Very thankful that most websites I used to use as a 10 year old or whatever #are now defunct. There's something weird about how humans are just creating endless streams of words and pictures and all of this stuff #and it just goes out into the void and stays there long after the person themselves has forgotten it. not even like 'oh no what if i said #something bad!!' but more just the general sense of.. people create so much more ideas than they can actually hold in their heads. nobody #remembers exactly word for word every post they've ever made or etc. It's like parts of yourself that you've externalized and then fade awa #from you but they're still you but they're not so you just have little snapshots of yourself in time floating around entirely unbenknownst #to you. like making clones of yourself and then forgetting you did so but every once in a while going 'shit... there's clones out there..#of me and I don't even have track or awareness of them anymore.. what an odd concept..' etc. not EXACTLY like that ghbj..you know what I me #n.. or maybe you dont.. hrmm... The funny thing about the harkness test is that “sexual maturity for its species” isn’t even how most people on tumblr determine the ethics of fucking other humans. Like, in my one sexual experience, he was 14 and I was 17. There are many on this site who would consider that objectionable. Do you think they would change their minds upon being informed that he was further into puberty than I was?

THIS FOREVERRRRRR. i get it i get . we are forever unified in history yapping forever………… literally my teachers used to get so mad at me because i could never finish my papers in time :(( ok i REMEMBER. like in middle school when my teacher was teaching. approximately apush to sixth graders. that i would spend so long writing the short answers i didn’t even GET to the essay for every test i just turned in my essay plan and my teacher pretended i had finished it

CU, except I swapped the genders and changed some minor story details

So basically it's a more magical girl-ish version of the story instead of a normal superhero one (she still is, but just more... magical, I guess?)

#and I still need to come up with the names for half the characters!!#of course only if i ever expand apon this concept #I'm thinking of having this AU's George be named “Mona”#which (if you read the tags of the WIP for this) was originally one of the names I was going to use for Melvin #as soon as I got the idea for this AU I knew exactly what the AU Harold's hair would look like #it's kind of inspired by clawdeen from g3 of monster high #(gotta sneak my other fixations in somehow)#as for Mona's design #I know girls wear ties #but I wanted it to make sense within the context of the story #so i changed her signature accessory to a belt #lets just say the sixth graders had it worse in this version #and Cap...#a lot of details to kind of explain #(not fully idk how to do that)#so she's basically a magical girl here #a very stupid one might i add #yes she is holding a roll of toilet paper #she uses it like a ribbon baton #(she has accidentally mummified herself in it on multiple occasions)#the silver jewellery is meant to resemble the curtain rings #to work around the toupee thing i gave her some grey hairs near the top of her head #and the Krupp of this universe would wear her hair up in a bun which would hide the fact she's already going grey #i know it's not as funny as the Krupp being obviously bald under his fake hair thing #but I'm trying to adjust things where I need to in this universe #the George and Harold here still have the same questionable sense of humour too #captain underpants #george beard #harold hutchins #art
