ABC does like to respect their queer characters (we also seem to be getting more of Karen than we did on FOX and they do already have a good, and pre-established, history with Tracie in that Thursday-night lineup which does, sadly, make crossovers moot unless they, like FOX, continues to expect audiences to believe that exact doppelgängers exist). Could they be adding to more with two more of their beloved, and main-stay, characters? Only time (and maybe Ryan) will tell.

4x03 for both shows was so fucking good. love love love the focus on the family branches, nia and danny, athena and hen talking, bobby worrying about athena stopping her therapy, BABY GIRL HAN-BUCKLEY OMG, the buckley-diaz shenanigans. and then the crossover dynamics god. THEY ALL WORKED SO WELL. literally some of my favorite eps now.
