I made a ACOC OC because the ravening war has me in a deep brain rot and then I thought too hard about her. Shes a level 6 Sorcerer/Warlock and i LOVE HER
More details about her under the break
Her name is Lady Areli Helianthus, a fructeran Sunflower seed from the noble house of Helianthus. The most unique traits of the Helianthus family is that certain family members can ‘bloom’ and begin growing sunflowers (its edible I checked!) which awakens special powers within them.
And because I cant resist a good pun my Sunflower lady is a prophet of the Bulb, and grew up within the bulbian church. Although i have drawn her without it, she actually always has her veil on as shes not allowed to show her face as “her face may only gaze towards the bulb”. One of the deep philosophies that she grew up with was that her face was something private and to be covered and to be treasured only by the bulb above, but her hands were always to remain free and bare as they are for the community and her church.
I imagine that at some point shell be swept away from the church and into a rag tag party who help her realised shes been highkey brainwashed and that she can live however she wants to even if her powers do always come from the bulb.

Plant of the Day
Sunday 31 July 2022
The F1 hybrid Helianthus annuus 'Elite Sun’ (sunflower) is one of the earliest flowering cultivars of this annual. The flowers have long yellow petals and dark discs, these plants had already set seeds which will be useful for feeding birds in the garden.
