We don’t talk about how much of an idiot Tamlin is, like the dude is canonically so fucking dumb.

Jurian and Lucien both see through Feyre in ACOWAR. Jurian specifically points out that Rhys, despite being the most powerful High Lord, has not come to claim his mate and maybe that’s because he knows Feyre is playing double agent.

Tamlin comes off as so dumb not realizing this, and thinking Hybern had the power to break a mating bond.
