Can we get some cuddling hcs with the Lin Kuei trio? For example are they big on cuddling, favorite cuddle position, how is it like cuddling with them, ext. Just a lil idea I had and thought was cute and simple and classic also I hope you have a better day :)

Tomas Vrbada

Is MASSIVE on cuddling.

He loves it, lives for it, craves it. Cuddling to Tomas is therapeutic and gets his mind off of things that would normally disrupt his ability to get proper sleep.

It helps ground him and redirects his mind to focus on you and how your presence gives him comfort, reassured him of his insecurities and daily stresses, bringing him into a more relaxed state.

His top 3 would have to be;

Honeymoon cuddle

Sweetheart cradle

Good old fashion spooning

They’re all very self explanatory so I ain’t going to go into details. The man just likes holding you okay?

Cuddling either Tomas is bliss. Utter bliss.

He made you forget about everything that had ever concerned you, everything that had caused you pain, fear, anger, despair. He made you believe that everything was alright because you were within his loving embrace and that nothing else should matter.

Even his evened out breathing made you feel calm as it focused your mind onto his breaths, reminding you that lying beneath you was a living, breathing man who’d do anything you could ever possibly ask for and request for nothing in return. Tomas heart was too kind for most people, even you didn’t feel deserving of something so pure and beautiful despite everything he’s seen and done in the past, you were surprised that such a man still exists in this day and age.

So as a solemn vow, you swore to have this every night, not just for you but for Tomas too, where the both of you would be able to shed the worries and daily stresses. Only to eventually forget all about them as you fortified yourselves within the comforting arms of the other; Sleeping more peacefully than either of you had in ages.

Bi-Han

Isn’t massive on cuddling, he doesn’t like anything that might portray him as weak or soft in the slightest.

A mindset he’s developed overtime, repressing any and all childish wants and desires he might’ve had at the earliest convenience. Not wanting any distractions on his road to power. Plus he’s cold in more ways than one because like Kuai Liang, due to his body temperature, it makes something seemingly easy as cuddling difficult all of a sudden.

Even if you did ask hypothetically what his favourite cuddling positions, Bi-Han would probably say ones that requires the least amount of contact on his end:

Back to back - so he can feel that you’re still there.

Back cuddles- you’re the one cuddling up against that broad back of his.

Shoulder to shoulder - same reason as back to back; knowing that you’re still with him.

Cuddling Bi-Han is…something and I don’t mean this negativity but it’s Bi-Han, what else can I say other than cold, rigid, and a little awkward? The man is on guard even in his sleep and cuddling him the way you do doesn’t necessarily help.

Besides that there’s some semblance of companionship when you press your back into his own. It felt as though you had each made a nonverbal pact to have each other’s back in your most vulnerable states; Something that naturally comes with a sense of trust being put in the other and Bi-Han isn’t one to trust blindly.

Cuddling Bi-Han maybe awkward and a little finicky due to the walls this man had put up in order to protect himself from everyone else, he oddly enough made you feel safe, he made you feel guarded and warm, which was weird considering how abnormally cold he was in every possible way. Yet you knew he held honour- or his version of it at least- highly, so you didn’t feel like you’d have to second guess his every actions because that wasn’t the type of man Bi-Han was…

Even though cuddling him was obviously something he wasn’t attuned to, he nonetheless made you feel regarded in his own special way.

Kuai Liang

Kuai Liang runs extremely warm, which could be considered overwhelming or perfect depending on the type of person you are, so whilst he likes contact; he likes to keep it minimal unless told otherwise.

He prioritises your comfortability over his own and understands that his abnormally body heat can be a bit too much at times. Outside of that he’s more than accepting of cuddling.

Kuai Liang’s top 3 favourite cuddling positions would have to be ones that were less on the physical context but unlike Bi-Han, it typically ends up with him cuddling you in some form of him protecting you:

Leg hug- incase you get overwhelmed by his body heat and need space but also wanting to keep touching some part him.

Face to face - this one’s a personal favourite of his because he loves waking up and falling asleep to your face.

Chest rest -the one where your heads on his chest and he’s keeping you in place with his arms.

Cuddling Kuai Liang is warm and secure because when you’re in his arms, feeling his warmth deep into you just as his arms tightened their grip, you’ve never felt more protected in your life then you did in Kuai Liang’s hold.

You never had to worry about being hurt, especially when Kuai Liang was there to shield you from all possible forms of harm; nor the way he always had his back facing towards the door so that if something were to happen then he was able to keep you safe with his body.

It was his duty to protect you, as he would often say whenever you asked him why this was.

You couldn’t act as though his declaration didn’t have your heart melting into a puddle.

So now you just allow his warmth to consume you like a thick, warm, weighted blanket that blocked out any and all cold that threatened to try and get to you; all the while you snuggled closer into him because despite every last part of you touching every last part of him wasn’t enough, you needed to be even closer to him. You wanted your souls to touch and feel the presence of the other but since you physically couldn’t do that, you settled for forehead touches instead. It was just as intimate after all.

Okay, imagine brothers Lin Kuei, Raiden, Kung Lao, Liu Kang, if their son was chosen as Earthrealm's champion and had won his first tournament.

author note: put these two requests together! gn!child. Anon don't listen to Bi-Han! Family is people that love and support you and help you out when you fall. Blood relations have very little to do with family💫

Bi-Han: -He'll never treat you as his kid, but at least you have enough education not to bother him too much. -Bi-Han will treat you like one of his ninjas. You are either perfection or nothing. -When you get chosen as Earthrealm champion, Bi-Han was proud, but mostly green with envy. -It should have been him or at least a true Lin Kuei. -It's good that you won the tournament because it brings more honour to the Lin Kuei, but don't expect much from him, at maximum a pat on your shoulder and a "you did your job well".

Kuai Liang: -He treats like you share the same blood; you are his kid. -But Liang doesn't make preferences! You'll have to train as hard as everyone else. -At maximum, Liang will be the one to clean your wounds, something that the other trainees won't have. -You being chosen as Earthrealm champion made Liang really proud. But he also is pretty worried. -"Be safe" He tells you, looking straight into your eyes, then kissing the top of your head. Liang has complete trust in you. -Liang isn't the one for parties, but you won, so the entire Shirai Ryu needs to celebrate!! -Liang is really proud of his kid.

Tomas Vrbada: -Oh, he knows this situation way too well. -Tomas is really soft with you. He doesn't want his child to suffer. -You'll have to train mostly with Liang and Harumi. -Tomas will be super proud when you get chosen as Earthrealm champion. -But he is also really worried! The chance of you getting hurt is so high. -For once, his usual vibes will match the ones when he works. Liu Kang feels a shiver when he accompanies you to Outworld. -Tomas gets drunk at the party when you come home as a winner. It's not like he ever doubted your skills, but damn he is so happy for you.

Raiden: -He doesn't have a family either, just Fujin, so Raiden will welcome you with open arms. Honestly, meditation helped you a lot when ugly emotions started to overcome any other thought. -Raiden will smile, hand landing in on your shoulder, full of pride. "I know you had the skills to become next Earthrealm champion." -He is not worried for you, and even when he is, Raiden starts to meditate. He doesn't want to send you any negative vibe. -Raiden won't throw a full party when you return home as a winner, but he'll gladly pay you a meal at Madame Bo! -Just for you. Kung Lao will try to sneak in. Make sure he'll pay his own meal.

Kung Lao: -It will be harder for him to treat you like you're his kid, but no way Lao will leave you alone! -You'll learn all his techniques. You'll be not only Lao n1 trainee but the n1 of the entire academy. -His chest is puffed out like a turkey one when you get chosen as Earthrealm champion. -"Obviously I knew you were going to be chosen. You had the best teacher, after all!" -Even happier when you come home as a winner. "Let's celebrate at Madame Bo! Raiden will pay for all of us!"

Liu Kang: -He knew you would have come. Liu Kang waited for this moment. -Honestly? Liu Kang always wanted to become a dad, and he knows you have a bright future in front of you. -He trains you, patch your wounds he is always next to you when you need it. -Feel free to tell him to back off. Liu Kang will nod, understading your feelings. Obviously, he was proud to announce you as Earthrealm champion. -And he will be even happier when you'll win the tournament, smile from one ear to another. -"Have you seen my kid! They are amazing, aren't they?" He'll carry you around, showing you off like the proud dad he is.

Random romance headcanons for the Lin Kuei Brothers

what do they search on a partner, how are dates with them, that sort of stuff

I tried to make this headcanons as accurate to what i think these characters would do canonlly

(I accidentally posted my draft but now i finished it, still learning how to write and use tumblr)

Kuai Liang/Scorpion

>Kuai Liang is an honourable grandmaster, he puts humbleness and passion over other traits. he is looking for someone with honour, kind and selfless, with the will to complete their goals, without sacrificing anyone in the process

>he prefers a peaceful person, one that he can spend quiet and tranquil nights with, he is a quiet person himself, he loves soft and peaceful chats, your voice calms him down and talking to you is the perfect way for him to distress

>he doesn't mind if you are in the Shirai Ryu or not, but he will consider you as a valuable ally to his clan, a loyal and truthful counselor, but it will sweep him off his feet if you decide to help him and the Shirai Ryu with their goals

>dates with him are difficult to have, he is the grandmaster of the Shirai Ryu, he often goes on missions or stays up late doing tasks or errands for the clan, training his initiates and ninjas too, Kuai Liang has little time for himself, but when he does he spends it with you, most likely in bed talking and staying up late playing with your hair, he loves late night talks with you, it soothing and comforting for him

>as for gifts, he will gift you meaningful things, he can gift you flowers or beautiful jewelry with gemstones and every single one has their own meaning, if he misses you he will send you forget-me-nots which means that he doesn't want you to forget about him or if he comes back to you after a long mission he will bring lilies of the valley with him, because it means the return of his happiness. he uses his gifts to communicate his feelings

>Kuai Liang is not really a jealous man, he acknowledges his negative feelings and doesn't let them get in his head, he is not one to do any sudden act or dramatic scene out of jealousy, he will talk to you about his feelings, try and make you understand why he feels the way he does, i picture him as the most emotionally mature out of his brothers

>he doesn't like PDA, he is a grandmaster and tries to maintain a honourable and diplomatic image, not that his love for you is not honourable its just he doesn't want others to see him being vulnerable to you, his vulnerability is a side of him that only his loved ones know of, specially you, and he likes to keep it that way, he secretly loves the fact that only you can tear down all his walls and see him when he is most vulnerable

>he makes it up to you when you finally get time alone, he will hold you tight and whispers sweet words in you ears, he will kiss your jawline and temple between his words, and so sweetly too, he will reassure any doubt you have, comfort your feelings, ease down your anxiety, to wash down any negative feeling you feel, he doesn't mind being the one to hold you or comfort you, he feels happy to be the one to spoil you

>a relationship with Kuai Liang its something that keeps you yearning for him, to have more time with him, he is so close and yet out of reach because of his duties as a grandmaster, but he does his best to return home safe to you,

Bi-Han/Sub-Zero

>Bi-Han is a disciplined, cold and ambitious person, he doesn't mind making sacrifices to accomplish his goals. he wants a person that is decisive and disciplined like him by his side

>he wants a partner that is decisive, confident and determinated. a person that is fully capable of giving orders, he wants a partner that will join and lead the Lin Kuei alongside him, like his father and mother did. to him having a partner means working in a team to accomplish both your goals

>he wants you to join the Lin Kuei, he thinks if you are going to dedicate and expend the rest of your life with him you'll need to become a member of the Lin Kuei, it means that you are dedicated and loyal to him, alongside his goals and aspirations, he sees it as a sign of not only respect but devotion and love aswell

>if dates with Kuai Liang are rare, is even worse with Bi-Han, he is as busy as Kuai Liang if not more, he is busy even late at night, he comes to bed in midnight, if you fall asleep before his arrival, he will prepare himself for bed and cuddle with you, even if he won't admit it he loves having you close, its his way of apologizing for having little time for you. if you stay awake to wait for him it would make his cold heart flutter but he will scold you, saying that your need for proper rest comes before him, and you shouldn't sacrifice it for him

>Bi-Han is not much of giving you gifts out of emotions, but out of necessity and need, he will keep an eye on you, do you need hygiene products? Health care products? Skin care products? He has you covered, he will sent his men to bring you everything you need, or what you say you need, he demonstrates his love by taking care of your necessities

>Bi-Han is not a jealous man either but he is protective, overprotective even, if Sektor or any other Lin Kuei tries to convince you to participate in the Cyber Lin Kuei project Bi-Han will tell cut them off immediately, and coldly scold them, he doesn't want you to be involved in overly dangerous Lin Kuei business. you will rule by his side, aid him, share victories and glory with him, but he will never let you make the same sacrifices he or other Lin Kuei members do, you are too important to him to let you

>no PDA, like never, he hates being vulnerable in general terms but more so in public, he wants to keep a cold and intimidating exterior, he is the grandmaster of the Lin Kuei, and he wants others to respect him, being it out of fear or admiration, he doesn't want others to see that you are his soft spot either, he fears people may use you against him

>even when you are alone, it is difficult for Bi-Han to let down his walls and fall apart in your arms, sience he was little he thought feelings like vulnerability made him weak, so he pushed these feelings aside, he thought it was the best for him, but thankfully he is slowly healing from that, you are making him heal, teaching him to be vulnerable to you, because you will never take advantage of him in this state

>being in a relationship with Bi-Han is rather hard, like with Kuai Liang being grandmaster has its duties, and they are heavy, plus his trauma doesn't help eiter, but if you manage to see pass and help him heal, step by step he will finally let you see that he is actually very devoted to you, he will do anything for you, he will kill for you if you needed, he would bring the world on their knees for you if you asked him to, he doesn't mind sacrificing anything or anyone to make you happy, because you make his cold heart beat with passion again

Tomas Vrbada/Smoke

>Tomas is one of the most kindest soul out of the mortal kombat characters, he emerged of his tragedies as a genuine and caring person. he is looking for someone as kind as him, he doesn't like petty, rude or troublesome people

>he is attracted to kindness, compassion, humbleness and anything between those lines, he doesn't mind if you are loud or quiet, shy or confident, introverted or extrovert, as long as your actions are good and honourable ones and you treat people right

>don't ever expect expensive gifts or dates from him, he is a humble person, he belives love relies on thought itself, he can bring you a couple of flowers he picked off the ground because they reminded him of you or just write you a letter of how he feels about you, even if his gifts are small he gives them to you with all his heart

>like his brothers, he doesn't have that much time with all the tasks he has because of the Shirai Ryu, training his initiates or going on missions, but he always tries to make time for you, and when he does he prefers dates at home or places where there is little to no people, he also prefers when you two make the food together, so cooking with you or going to picnics with you are his favourite type of dates, he also loves stargazing with you

>Tomas is not a jealous person most of the time, he often tries to ignore the feeling, but if it affects him too much he would get self-conscious and insecure, probably trying to avoid you while he cleans his thoughts, he thinks his jealousy is immature of his part, you need to reassure him and validate his feelings because no one ever really did that for him

>he is not big on PDA, does more than his brothers thought, he can hold your hand, hug you or compliment you in public, but nothing pass that. he doesn't like when people see you two being so vulnerable and loving, the love you two feel are just for you both, no one else. he also doesn't like the idea of other gossiping about your demonstrations of affection, he thinks it will give you trouble and he doesn't want to be a burden to you at all

>when you are alone he would show you how much he loves you, satisfy your needs, spoil you, and will do what he can to accomplish every desire you have, but with one condition, you must do the same for him. he is not the type to be happy with only giving or only receiving, you both should give and receive love equally, so spoil him with love too, he can get quite needy and eager for you love, he loves when you spoil eachother rotten

summary - you were writing something and Bi-Han was curious

no warnings ; sfw , fluff

“My love, what are you writing?” Bi-Han questioned. He seems very interested. “I picked up a new hobby, poetry! I have been wanting to try writing poetry in so long but i have been very busy for the past few weeks, so this is the perfect time to try out,” you responded in a happy manner. Bi-Han took a chair nearby and sat beside you, accompanying and observing you.

As you wrote each word letter by letter, Bi-Han contemplate you with fascination in his eyes. He read each word one by one. This action of Bi-Han causes you to giggle as you find it pretty cute. “What’s the matter love? Did i pronounce something wrong?” He was puzzled. “Oh Bi-Han, you didn’t do anything wrong, its just that when you read the word one by one, i found it to be a cute act of yours,” you patted him on the shoulder and he grinned at you.

Time goes by and you two have been talking about your interest of poetry. You share your favourite form of poetry, favourite poet and the list goes on. You enjoyed talking about poetry to Bi-Han. You’re glad that you and him had at least one common interest.

“I finished already! Would you like to do the honours and read it?” Bi-Han was flustered by your words and nodded.

“Broadminded gentleman,

Intelligence wider than the rest.

Hardworking grandmaster, will live up to his title.

Ambitious and fearless,

No man will ever defeat him as his name is Bi-Han”

“So, do you like it? Not bad for a first try huh!” You boasted your pride to Bi-Han. He can’t help but smile at your reaction. “Of course i liked it because the poem’s about me,” he rolled his eyes in sassiness and pulled you closer, embracing you into a hug. He lifted your face and gently stroked your cheek. Bi-Han fixed his gaze towards you, adoring your angelic face and kissed you softly.

“I’m famished already, let’s eat dinner shall we?”

I've Got This!

How would the MK1 Earthrealmer Boys react when all of you go out for a friendly dinner at Madam Bo's and you, a lovely female team mate, pick up the bill happily before any argument and avoiding the bill banter ensues between the boys?

Liu Kang

He accepts your gesture with gratitude. Why should a god have to pay? He shouldn't have to. He already does so much to protect Earthrealm.

"It's always an honour, Lord Liu Kang," you said, bowing with hands clasped in front of you.

He does not care that you are a woman, he only cares about your good qualities. If you want to be generous and kind to your friends, that is your right and choice.

Raiden

He's momentarily surprised that you got up and confidently took the bill and added a stack of cash on top before handing it back to Madam Bo with a wink, which was your way of communicating that you've tipped.

"Y/N, you didn't have to do that!" he said, that he feels bad is evident in his voice.

"Don't worry about it! You've treated us before, so it's my turn," you said smiling.

"Besides, I may not be a Lay Buddhist, but it is good karma," you gestured towards both him and Kung Lao, "And we're friends."

"Well, if you put it that way," Raiden began humbly, smiling, "we gratefully accept, even though we're not monks yet."

"Plus, I'm honored to be in the presence of the Shaolin's next master!"

Raiden blushed, "You're embarassing me!" He said modestly.

Kung Lao

Kung Lao belched appreciatively, patting his belly, praising the good hearty meal. Then the usual banter ensued between the boys on who's paying the bill when brought to your table. You, without hesitation, paid the bill confidently. Done.

He didn't spot your actions but the others did and the bantering immediately changed to protests and expressions of feeling bad that you got to it first. Kung Lao then realized what happened and joined in with the boys.

He's trying to save face but was internally happy and grateful that he didn't have to pay the hefty bill. He certainly had a big metabolism and he knew that he required more food. *burp* *pat, pat* :D

You waved a hand dismissively, "You guys treat me all the time, it's my turn. Besides, I may not be a Lay Buddhist, but it is good karma," you gestured towards both him and Raiden, "And we're friends."

"Well, then!" Exclaimed Kung Lao with a wide grin, hands held outwards, "I am glad to be the bestower of good karma! I'm more than happy to oblige you next time!" Raiden hit him on the chest playfully with the back of his hand, "I'm joking. But, thank you, Y/N! This next smiling Buddha's indeed happy!"

Johnny Cage

He's impressed with your boldness and is beaming from ear to ear.

"Whoa! I'm getting the royal treatment!" The actor complimented in his own joking way.

Since both of you are Westerners, it is not unheard of for women to take up the bill and treat others. In fact it is welcomed in many cases.

"Absolutely," you said brightly, "Anything for all of you...within reason!" You jokingly gave a motherly warning gaze, holding a finger up.

Johnny laughed, "Aww, I was gonna order champagne, a couple of lobsters and some caviar!"

"Next time, for sure," you said, smiling.

"Nah, I'll get it next time. My treat," Johnny replied happily opening his arms up to hug you, which you returned, "Thank you, Y/N."

"It's an honour to be in the presence of Ninja Mime!"

Kenshi

Kenshi was more reserved and not much of a talker. It was hard to read him at times, as he is expression was poker faced most of the time. But when he speaks, the words are sincere.

Once you paid the bill, there was a quiet reaction where he smiled and nodded in your direction. Unlike the rest of the boys, he was polite and formal.

"Thank you, Y/N."

Sub Zero (Bi Han)

He had his usual scowl on his face. As you all stood up to leave, he approached you.

"A woman never pays." He said as if he had the last word in a dignified way.

Hiding your confusion, you replied, "I wanted to."

His face subtly crinkles before walking away. Kuai Liang looked back at you apologetically.

You can make out parts of their conversation as they were leaving Madam Bo's.

"Women these days! It is a man's job to take care of women!" Bi Han grumbled.

"Times have changed, brother."

"And who does she think she is by saying, "I want to"? She means defiance!"

"You misunderstood her words, brother."

The grumbling faded away as the brother exited Madam Bo's.

At least you now know that the traditional Lin Kuei Grandmaster cares about women underneath that cold exterior.

Scorpion (Kuai Liang)

Unlike his brother, Kuai Liang was diplomatic. He was also like Kenshi, where words of gratitude are sincere behind a solemn tone.

Kuai Liang returned after the above conversation with his brother, who was now waiting outside of the restaurant.

"Y/N," he began, "I apologize for that."

You waved a hand, smiling, "Don't worry about that. I was happy to share."

"While some of us have accepted that times have changed, others have not," he explained, "My brother is grateful, but he often allows his ego to express this for him in...straightforward ways."

"You don't have to explain anything, I understand," you said, holding a hand up, "I know he is grateful."

"We appreciate the kind gesture," Kuai Liang said sincerely, "It was a wonderful meal."

"You're welcome," you responded, bowing your head respectfully.

Smoke (Tomas Vrbada)

He felt bad that you paid. Even though you were happy to.

Kind, empathetic and sensitive, he felt that he should have been the one to step up and paid the bill. He wanted to take care of his family and friends. When you beat him to the punch, he was internally kicking himself in the head.

"You look like I just did something hurtful to you," you said, looking concerned, "Are you ok?"

He sighed, "Yes, I am. I feel bad though. I should have been the one to pay."

"You're welcome," you joked, "Don't worry about it!"

"I know, I know," he began apologetically, "I really appreciate you doing that for us. I would have liked to take care of all of you."

"Oh, you're fine," you reassured, "You take care of all of us enough, and more. So typical of you and your star sign."

He paused, "Wait, what? How do you know what my star sign is?" He eyed you suspiciously.

You waved your hand in the air nonchalantly, "Oh, I might have overheard a person or two greet you happy birthday a month ago."

"But...I've never told anyone my birthday!"

"Someone found out," you said, "Happy belated birthday! I hope you enjoyed the dinner! Ha ha ha!!"

Before he could say anything, you left the restaurant cackling.
