Absolutely wild that Zelda didn’t even consider that link couldn’t beat the demon king.
Like she’s over here restoring the sword. She literally says she will restore the sword for link, and that it will be the weapon to defeat the demon king.
But a whole team of sages (more than link ended up with), the king of light, and Zelda herself couldn’t beat him. She was there, in battle, and she knew that all that power couldn’t beat him.
Yet she never even thought link couldn’t beat him. She knew he would need his weapon, so she got it to him.
But in terms of winning the actual battle? She never even once doubted that his skill as a swordsman would triumph. Absolutely crazy.
