I was thinking about their reaction when crush offering their lap for them to rest ( idk, for whatever reason they are very tired XD). Bonus point if crush's feelings about the boys are mysterious.

Hi girlypop! Thank you so much for the request I got really excited writing these! I assumed you wanted a Drabble so that’s how I wrote them lol. Anyway I didn’t write all of them in the stone world so I specified next to the name. Let me know if it’s ok. Thank you and I hope you enjoy!
Ryusui, Tsukasa, Ukyo, laying on their crushes lap
Ryusui: pre-petrification or 4d science
You’ve worked for the Nanami Conglomerate for a while, helping with basic tasks like cooking, cleaning, things like that. You first met Ryusui when Francois had to take a sick day, hearing you would get double the pay you took up the offer to be Ryusui’s personal maid/butler for a day or two. It’s safe to say Ryusui absolutely adores you! Even when Francois returned, Ryusui HAD to have you by his side, even if you weren’t “assisting” him. One day you were on your brake, sitting in a room for the servants to relax in (which Ryusui made such was super nice for you) when you hear a door slam from the other side. You close the book you were reading to see-you guessed it- Ryusui, looking more tired than he usually is. “Welcome home master Ryusui.” You smile at him. His face lights up, not looking nearly as tired as he was before. “(Y/n)! Thank God your beautiful face is here!” He says while walking over to you, his head placed on your shoulder. You blush only a little, getting used to Ryusui’s clingyness. “A long day sir?” You chuckle. “Yes! There were a bunch of boring meetings and I could barely work on my ships, no matter how much I desired to!” He says, huffing cutely. His arms start to tighten around your waist as he buries his head deeper into your shoulder. “Why don’t you get some rest?” You suggest to him. “I wanna stay with you…” Giggling ever so slightly, you propose an idea that makes his heart go crazy. “Then why don’t you rest your head on my lap for a while hm?” He looks you in the eye, so excited by your sudden suggestion. “I’d love that (y/n)! Now that’s something I desire!” Giggling once more you barley get to sit down before Ryusui practically tackles your lap. Your hand cups his cheek with a couple of fingers tangled in his hair. His smile fills up the room as his eyes flutter shut. Right before he falls asleep, you hear him whisper, “I love you (y/n)…” As the blush on your face darkens slightly, you can’t help but respond with what you’re heart tells you, “I love you too master Ryusui…”
Tsukasa: pre-petrification
Tsukasa just got done winning one of his fights. You walk into his locker room, about to congratulate him on his win when you notice him passed out on one of the benches. Sighing, you walk over to him, carefully picking up his head and placing it on your lap. “Moron. You have a press conference in an hour.” You pick up strands of his hair and begin braiding them together. It could have been your imagination, but you could swear he had some sort of smirk on his face. For about 40 minutes you sit there, watching his chest rise and fall, hearing his quiet snores and smelling the salt of his sweat. Not even thinking, you lean your face over his, only inches apart. As you slowly lean in, an alarm goes off, causing you to raise you head quickly. Tsukasa groans, slowly opening his eyes to his favorite sight. “(Y/n)..?” “Morning sleepyhead.” Tsukasa’s face reddens as he sits up from your lap. You didn’t know why he was so nervous, after all you’d let him lay on your lap when you were kids.“I-uh…I have to get ready for the conference….” He rushes up and walks towards the showering area. “Tsukasa!” You call out causing him to turn his head. “You did a great job today! I’ll be right here if you need anymore rest!” He turns his head away from you, his long hair covering his blushing face. “Thank you (y/n), that means the world to me….”
Ukyo: Kingdom of Science or Tsukasa Empire
After a long day of hunting Ukyo arrives back around 10 at night, making your worried self finally feel at ease. Some of the men help carry the fresh meat as Ukyo groggily walks to his quarters. To his surprise, you were there fixing his bed and cleaning up a bit. You look up at him and smile. “Welcome back Ukyo! The hunt go well?” You speak quietly, not trying to hurt his delicate ears. “Yeah, it went better than usual.” He yawns, rubbing his eyes. You smile at him as you sit in his bed. You pat you lap, “why don’t you get rest?” He’s embarrassed at the clear suggestion that he lay on your lap, but who is he kidding? He wants nothing more than to relax, and being able to sleep on YOUR lap is just a bonus. He walks over to you and gently lays his head down. “I’m not heavy am I?” He asks, making sure he’s not making you uncomfortable. “I’m fine, don’t worry about me. Just get some sleep ok?” I slightly nods, closing his eyes. You take off his hat and rub his head making him fall asleep faster. Letting out a soft sigh he sleeps soundly mumbling out one last goodnight. “Thank you (y/n), im glad you’re here with me…”

Yall might notice I play up Chrome’s beef with Ryusui. It’s funny to me. I know the don’t hate each other 😭
Context for All:
S/O and character met and started dating after the petrification.
S/O’s (barely) younger twin only gets woken up after some months or so.
Ryusui Nanami:
You and Ryusui both go to wake up your twin from the stone together.
Once your twin breaks free of the stone, they are looking, confused, at you and Ryusui joined hands.
They spit out some kind of “who are you?” At him. And he gives them a cheery, enthusiastic answer, calling himself your dedicated boyfriend.
Your twin doesn’t like him. (Chrome is cheering somewhere in the background)
They tell him to watch himself. And that’s when he’s confused.
What did he do?
Then they pull you away often, finding excuses. Eventually, out right telling him to stay away from you, but not in front of your face.
This is like putting him in a straight jacket for a week. He’s attached to you most the time like a magnet, but now your twin is repelling him out.
He tries to win them over too. Gifts. Words. Whatever.
He’d explain himself by loudly exclaiming how much he loves you.
This is worsening it.
I think your twin would come around when they’re around him for a while and notice just how much he does for you. It’s not just things he HAS done for you, he does things too.
Like when they watch you get hurt, only slightly, not bad enough to warrant being carried, but he carried you an hour walk back to the village anyways.
They won’t tell him, but they approve now.
Gen Asagiri:
Another one I can totally see a sibling disliking at first.
When you wake up your twin and bring them back to the village, Gen is waiting for you. He greets them too.
And your twin tells you his smile looks creepy, quietly, but he heard it, and being who he is, he smiles more sinister and says some comment.
Mistake. Your twin doesn’t like him.
Now he spends all his time trying to use his mentalist tricks to get your twin to like him, but they’re really good at dodging all that shit and glaring at him.
Knowing he’s a huge liar, your twin asks you how you can trust him. How do you know he’s not sleeping around.
They heard him joke about harem, and when you all went to treasure island, you weren’t with them, but he joked about wanting a hug from Amaryllis.
Your twin reports this back to you, and you inform them that you can’t take his words at any sort of face value.
He wants people’s reactions.
It would take a lot, watching genuine interactions, for your twin to warm up to you being with the world’s “greatest liar.”
Overall, they’d just have to learn to understand he’s hard to understand.
So for a while, they don’t get that. They are annoyed by his antics. So they secretly throw out some vague threat one night, and then your bf is suddenly not coming around.
This makes you upset, but eventually you notice he looks ever so slightly scared of your twin. And you put two and two together.
I think like how people come to trust Gen eventually once they see through him (as much as you can see through Gen, he’s a tough one) your twin would eventually just notice he means well.
Then they’re just watching closely from a distance.
He’s terrified.
Senku Ishigami:
Your twin is so justified. Lets just start there. This one isn’t even a full on misunderstanding. This would be Senku acted like a bitch, because he’s just too forward to give a fuck, and now they think he’s a bitch.
Not to mention, he’s not exactly intimidated. Just annoyed when your twin wakes up from the stone and immediately goes to telling him to stay away.
You didn’t warn him about this.
Everybody seems to like Senku though, they begin to realize.
They spend a while figuring out why.
And for a while, even with that information. They keep him far away from you because they don’t think he treats you right.
He has an ex wife? He divorced her? He talks to her like that didn’t happen?
Yeah, he better keep his ass 10 kilometers away at all times.
Then eventually they notice how he does his best for you. He’s a busy man. He’s got a lot on his plate. Once they recognize this, they begin to warm up to him.
He makes things to make your life easier, and when nobody is looking, except your twin, secretly, he’s affectionate (as much as Senku can be)
They let him off the hook.
Ukyo Saionji:
It wouldn’t happen.
But let’s say for SOME reason, they dislike him. Just because they don’t want you to get hurt. They have trust issues with that kind of thing. Maybe you’ve been with some men, or anybody really, they’ve watched you cry over before.
They think nobody deserves you.
Not even Ukyo. Bless his heart.
They threaten the poor man.
He’s not scared to go around you, but they refuse to include him in anything. Actively trying to shun him.
Honestly, in this scenario, you’d have to stand up for him a bit because he did nothing to warrant this.
Eventually, with some discussion with you, and maybe some heartfelt conversation Ukyo had with them about you, they’d come around.
He’s got a good record, and he just doesn’t want to see anybody get hurt?
Yeah, they’ll come around.
Chrome:
You were so excited to introduce your twin to your new boyfriend. Because how could anybody dislike Chrome?
Your twin does. Your twin dislikes him.
Let’s just say he’s annoyed, and hurt. And he literally thinks about you 24/7 so how is he supposed to just stay away from you???
How can they do this to him?
This is psychological torture.
Suika tries to help him. 100%.
Your twin thinks Suika is adorable, but he sent a kid instead of talking to them???
They’re on your twin’s “shit list.” He’s the only one on the list right now.
He tries to show off now hoping that your twin will think he’s cool and let him back near you.
If this was the modern era, he would have stood outside your window with a boombox. Or talked to you Romeo and Juliet style, with the boombox ready. But he doesn’t have a boombox. Or any skill to play a musical instrument. He doesn’t even know what that is.
He starts shouting things loud enough so that you can hear them, but without getting anywhere near you.
Your twin notices his persistence, and the way he looks at you, and eventually lets up.
Hyoga Akatsuki:
Your twin immediately heard about what he did.
He’s banned from your eyesight, the ground you walk on, the air you breathe.
They threaten him, and he smiles. They’re pissed, because how can he care so little?
Your twin has GUTS for doing anything about this man.
He keeps his distance at first, honestly just not thinking it’s worth it.
But admittedly, he’s more attached to you than he says he is.
They start to notice him sneaking around at night, when he thinks they’re not looking, just to see you.
Though they think about going off on him, they don’t. They just watch from a distance, ready to attack him if they need to. They’re not afraid of him. (They probably should be but they fear NOTHING)
They notice he doesn’t do anything. Often times he’ll just sit there, and the two of you exchange a few words. Clearly just happy to be together.
And they realize he’s got a soft spot for you.
He’s a cold man, usually his exchanges have malicious intent, but your twin is smart enough to notice that he doesn’t have any malicious intent here.
He gains nothing from these actions. Well he does, but not an upper hand. Just a warm feeling.
Likely they’ll just walk by the two of you and wave, continuing walking, and that’s how they’ll let him know he’s off the hook.
They keep an eye out though, for him in general. Because even if it’s clear he’s smitten with you, he’s still a concerning man.

“Ha HA! The horizon! I desire it all!” Ryusui spread his arms out wide, wind swiping at his hair and clothes as he took it all in. “I want the world, and the world wants me!”
“Sure, awesome- mind stepping back from the edge there, Sailor? I don’t think the world wants you encased in it just yet.” Gen reached out from behind, hands coming to the other’s sides to pull him back. In the distance, he swore he heard tin whistles. “Come on before you take a dirt nap-”
“Ahehehe!”
Gen blinked, startled. Ryusui had twisted away, elbows to his sides and eyes wide in shock. When it wore off, the sailor cleared his throat, a faint blush on his cheeks.
“H-Ha ha! Thank you, Gen! A sailor’s nothing without a crew to back him up, and it’s thanks to your quick thinking I’m still standing!” He nodded, trying to hide the small tremor in his voice with a hearty laugh. The mentalist only carried on watching him, tilting his head.
“Of course, though- tell me, Ryusui. What was that just now?”
“What was what?” Spoken too fast.
“That noise you made. It sounded rather interesting, no?” Gen started to smile, walking a step forward. “Are you hurt?”
“Ha-no. No, I'm not hurt.” Ryusui took a step back, further away from the edge. “Not hurt at all!”
“Then perhaps you’re sore? I’m fairly good at massages.” Gen raised his hands, curling his fingers. The sight made Ryusui straighten, eyes widening and cheeks rivaling his clothes. “You can ask Senku-chan when we get back; he’ll tell you.”
“I-I knew it! You two have something going on!” Ryusui backed away further, slowly down the path they took to get up here.
“Oh, sailor boy- our thing’s been common knowledge since day one.” Gen smirked, unfazed by Ryusui’s attempts of diversion. “Everyone knows. Just like how everyone knows about you and Tsukasa.”
“W-What?” Ryusui seemed stunned by this, face on fire. This was Gen’s moment to strike! He darted over, quickly grabbing Ryusui’s sides and squeezing. “AH! Ahehahhahahahaha! G-Gehehhehehn wahhahhhahhait!”
“Hehe, I knew it! I’ve grabbed Senku-chan there enough times to know what a ticklish reaction is! And you sir- are stupid ticklish!” Gen laughed gleefully as Ryusui twisted about, giggling like a child. Feeling bold, Gen stepped closer, moving his hands further around to his belly-
“Gohohohhohootcha!” Ryusui twisted at the last minute, grabbing onto Gen’s waist.
The reaction was instantaneous. Gen arched with a loud shriek, trying in vain to wiggle away from the sailor’s vengeful fingers. “Whahahahit- whahahahit wahahhahait, Ryuhuhuhuhuhuhuusuuhuuhuhuhiihihi!”
“Ha-HA! Just when you thought you had me! You’re a sneaky guy, aren't cha Gen? Can’t say I’m not impressed.” Ryusui snickered as he gently massaged the spot between Gen’s lower ribs and waist, earning a fresh squeal and hands attacking him-pulling at the back of his coat and banging against his shoulders. “Come now- you know you’re gonna need to do more than that to beat me-hehehheheehhe!”
“Ooohohohoho?” The hands attacking his back returned to his sides, drilling into his ribs and making Ryusui double over in mirth. “Whahahhahat abohohohout behehheahhahting youohohohu?”
If the sailor had a retort, it was lost in his howls of mirth. Instead, his hands carried on seeking out all of Gen’s own tickle spots, the results fruitful. It wasn’t long before the two were having an all out tickle war, their loud squeals and cackles filling the space surrounding them.
Alas though- Gen underestimated challenging someone like Ryusui to war. The man was the self proclaimed “Greediest man on earth”- and he made sure that was known as he swept a foot under the mentalist’s leg, dropping him harmlessly into the grass below and going for his belly. “HA-HA! Take this! I desire your laughter, and I shall get it!” Ryusui snapped his fingers for added effect, ducking his arm down quickly before Gen could prod him there. “Now take this!”
“AHEHHEHEHE! REHEHHEHEYUHUHUUHSUI, PLHEEHHHEASE!” Gen shrieked, arching with a loud titter beneath the sailor. He had lost this fight. “OHOHOHOKAY! OOHOHOHOKAY, STAHHAHAHP YOU WIHIIHIHIHN!”
The sailor did as requested, hooting in victory. Gen groaned softly, too tired to move, even when Ryusui all but collapsed across him. “Ehhhehe…ehhehe..tuuhuhhuckered yoursheheehlf out, dihiihidn’t you?”
“Ha…hahaha…A sahahhahailor…dohohosen’t get tiihihired…” Ryusui tried to get up, but the best he could do was roll onto his back, lying side by side with the Mentalist. “Hehe…hehee…I hahaven’t done that in a long time.”
“Have a tickle fight?” Gen looked at him curiously. Though- he supposed that made sense. He himself hadn’t really had this many tickle fights until he met Senku and humanity fell into the stone age.
“Yeah. I missed it, the whole…tickling thing. Heh, saying it outloud’s kinda embarrassing, now that I think about it.” Ryusui laughed softly, something vulnerable creeping into his expression that made Gen pause, choosing his words carefully.
“I don’t think it’s embarrassing. I think…a lot of us from our time miss things like that. Intimacy. Goofing about. Back in the modern times, we’d get so busy with our day to day lives that we push down those parts of us.” Gen thought once more of his own life- cameras and photos, book signings and state presence. “I know for me, I hadn’t realized just how badly I wanted someone to just hold my hand until the Stone Age came and there was nothing to distract me from it. Sure, we’ve got the Kingdom of Science keeping us busy, but when the days end and the quiet sets in…” Gen shrugged, turning to Ryusui. “Whatever form it may be- there’s nothing wrong with craving touch.”
Ryusui hummed in thought, considering. Then he smiled. Not his usual “Ryusui the Greedy” smile, but something soft and genuine- something so achingly real Gen wondered just how Tsukasa stayed standing whenever the sailor smiled at him like that. “Thanks, Gen. I appreciate it.”
Gen grinned, nodding. Just then, Senku’s bright green head appeared above them, upside down in their vision.
“Found you two. I heard yelling and got worried.” Judging by the smirk he was wearing, he clearly wasn’t anymore. “What got you two giggling like a couple of school girls?”
“Why, Senku-chan. Some things are better shown than told.” Gen grinned, winking at Ryusui as a new idea set in motion. “Shall we give him a demo, Ryusui?”
“Ha-HA! Sounds like a plan, Gen!” Ryusui snapped his fingers, rolling to his feet with ease. “Come, Senku- let us hear those laughs we desire…”
“What? Oh- Oh, nohoho. No, that’s alright- I’ll take your word for it!” Senku backed up a few steps before taking off, running towards the village with Gen and Ryusui hot on his trail.

My thoughts on Dr. Stone’s Chapter 204 (“The Universe Is Written in the Language of Mathematics”)
My thoughts after reading Chapter 204:
01. The kingdom of science has triumphed over the Suez Canal, and all other canals by association! >:D (Looking at you, Banana Panama Canal! :P)
02. And now we’re off to Math City... India! :D
03. It’s so interesting that Kohaku and Ryusui were the ones who talked to each other in this chapter - aside from the poker game, I can’t remember any significant interactions between them! :O
04. I like how Chrome, and Kohaku, totally kept it real XD Ryusui’s response about mathematics wasn’t the clearest, but it did sound cool :D
05. Hmm, I didn’t really consider their having to make calculations after the rocket was launched :O
06. Double-digit multiplication table memorization is a thing in India?! :O Wow!
06. Hmm, Sai doesn’t sound like an Indian name to me, but maybe I just haven’t come across that name before? :O
07. The New Perseus arrived in India on October 01, 5750 :)
08. Another thing that didn’t occur to me was that of course they would go for the spices in India! :) They’ve gotten cumin and cardamom, and probably other ones, too!
09. Curry! :P Ryusui and Gen seem to like it, but poor Chrome... it’s probably the spiciest thing he’s ever eaten XD And although we don’t see her eating it, Kohaku has some with her and she seems fine, but maybe that’s because she hasn’t tasted it yet? XD
10. Hmm, Kohaku probably WILL become Ruri’s older sister eventually, at least in terms of physical age, if not chronology, if they stay away from Japan for too long... :O
11. Kohaku has so much faith in Ruri’s intelligence and foresight and their connection to each others as siblings! :’) Her eyes are so full of faith and trust :’) I love that shot of her under the starry sky! :D Kohaku truly knows Ruri, and Ruri truly knows Kohaku - they both understand each other :) And Chrome ALSO has faith in Ruri... but I agree with Kohaku; he probably has a different reason for it, hee hee :D
12. This panel with Ryusui making this face makes so much more sense now, after having read the whole chapter XD
13. And, wow, the location of where they’re buried, even three thousand years later? :O That’s... wow! :O
14. I like Kohaku’s involvement in the location and extraction process :) And she looks so cute! :D
15. We get a Kohaku-Ryusui team-up AND a Senku-Chelsea team-up in this chapter! :)
16. Gen has very understandable ideas about what a math genius might be like XD And the glasses sound effects are spot-on :D
17. The math expert has been revived, and... he looks like Tsukasa! Sai looks like Tsukasa! :O
18. Ryusui makes an interesting face after Sai is revived. Not sure I can put my finger on what it means... maybe it’s stunned happiness? :)
19. He says to catch Sai, and Kohaku totally does just that - and in a very cool, aloof, confident way, too! Awesome! :D
20. I did NOT see the sibling thing coming! :O If I had to guess, I thought maybe he was a top student at the university that Nanami Corp. had founded - like maybe he was one of their sponsored scholars and that’s how Ryusui knew so much about his abilities and daily routine :) But siblings? Wow! :O And they have not identical, but quite similar, hand markings from the petrification! :) (Another clue that I didn’t pick up on, haha! XD)
21. And we see that Ryusui totally got what Kohaku meant when she said that siblings understand each other! :)
22. Ryusui’s big brother... :O It’s nice to meet you, Nanami Sai! :D (I wrote that the Japanese way since he said he “fled all the way to India,” presumably from Japan?) I wonder... did he flee from Ryusui because Ryusui was too exuberant for him? Or maybe because Ryusui wanted to go sailing around the world and Sai didn’t? Or maybe Ryusui made Sai make all of the calculations related to his ship and that was way too much math and Sai left after the ship was completed? Or did Ryusui want to change Nanami Corp in ways Sai didn’t agree with? I hope the next chapter tells us why he - it looks like - fled Japan because of Ryusui! :O

Nickname Headcanons || Dr Stone
A/N:I wanted to start off with some headcanons that have been plaguing my mind recently! Enjoy!
Warnings: Slight Mentions of Sex
Characters: Ryusui Nanami, Senku Ishigami, Gen Asagiri, Chrome, Ukyo Saionji, and Tsukasa Shishio
Senku Ishigami
Doesn’t really call you anything in public at first
Senku doesn’t really know how to express his emotions well at first, and so he doesn’t really see the need to give you a pet name
After a while, he starts to call you “babe” in public.
However, he has plenty more pet names for you in private
He likes to call you “princess” just to tease you. He’s the type of guy that lives to rile up his partner~
During the few moments of alone time you have together, he’ll call you “Cherub”. He doesn’t really know why it affects him the way it does, but he does know that the name make your innocent looking eyes all the more enticing~
If you’ve been dating for a while, he’ll call you “love”. This is only for special and important occasions though. He only says it when he’s completely wrapped up in how much he loves you, so make sure to cherish it!
Ryusui Nanami

Chrome
Chrome is pretty basic when it comes to pet names
He doesn’t have a lot of experience, and he’s probably a little too nervous to ask you what you want to be called at first
He likes calling you “Babe”, “Princess”, and “Beautiful” at first.
As your relationship continues, he gets more adventurous with his pet names for you.
He loves calling you “Sunshine”, “Buttercup”, and “Sunflower”
If you two are getting hot and heavy, Chrome can’t help but call you a mix of “Princess” and “Love”. He gets pretty passionate, and all of his emotions tend to bubble over when he’s this vulnerable!
However, Chrome does have an extra special name for you.
During those special occasions, he calls you his “Sapphire”. His reasoning is that you’re so incredibly beautiful and precious that you must be some sort of rare gemstone.
Ukyo Saionji
Ukyo is a very quiet man, so you can expect that most of his pet names for you will only be said in private
He feels that he doesn’t necessarily need to prove to others that you two are, in fact, dating.
But of course, he does still want to make you feel special
His go to pet names for you are “love” and “Angel”
I can definitely see him using “Sweetheart” as well, but not at often as the other two!
He definitely uses “Angel” and “Dove” when you two are alone together. It’s one of the few times he gets to be vulnerable, and he wants you to know just how much he loves you, and how special you are!
Other than those, he really doesn’t call you anything else!
Tsukasa Shishio
Like Ukyo and Senku, he’s non very affectionate in public.
He cherishes the fact that only you see him in that affectionate and vulnerable state.
He trusts you completely, and truly let’s his guard down around you
Tsukasa likes to call you “love”, “dove”, and “darling” the most
If he’s feeling extra fluffy, he’ll use “Honey” or “Sweetheart”
If he’s feeling frisky, he’ll call you “Duchess”, “Princess”, or “Kitten”
He’s not the type to use anything extra fluffy for everyday use.
He feels that pet names should be meaningful and special, just like you!

Wedding Ceremony~ [requested]
Before the petrification, you and Senku are lovers for 2 years. It started when he confessed to you that caught you off guard. But that confession was planned by Taiju and Yuzuriha your two other best friends.
“Y/n, I like you. Will you go out with me?” Senku was practicing while looking at the mirror. He was 10 billion percent nervous that you would reject him and his confession would ruin your friendship. “Come on man! Don’t be scared I’m sure that she likes you back,” Taiju was really trying to cheer him up.
“Yuzuriha why am I dressed like this?” you asked your best friend and she avoided your gaze. “N-nothing Y/n-chan. I just thought it would really look good on you,” she said and her phone rang. She picked it up and looked at you, “It Taiju-kun. Hello? Oh, y-yes we are on our way t-there.”
She said then she dragged you to the train station. The four of you agreed to go on a friendly date since it's your summer break and you don’t have anything to do besides trying and inventing new recipes.
When the train stopped at your station you walked together with Yuzuriha to the mall since you want to enjoy the summer breeze. You were wearing an off shoulder yellow dress with a floppy black wide-brimmed hat. You were wearing flats that go along with the entire outfit.
“You look really good on that Y/n-chan. I’m sure Senku would like to see you in that,” she said and you blushed. She knows that you have a crush on the leek haired scientist and you told her to keep it a secret from Taiju because he can be loud and he might tell it to Senku.
Yuzuriha was busy texting, probably Taiju when you got inside of the mall. “Yuzuriha! Y/n!” you heard Taiju’s loud voice calling for the both of you at your favorite coffee shop. You saw Yuzuriha blushed and you know it is because of the embarrassment.
You walked towards them and you looked at what Senku was wearing, it was like he matched your outfit. He was wearing a yellow shirt, white pants, and black shoes. You stared at him in awe and you noticed that Yuzuriha and Taiju were matching too, how cute!
The four of you ordered your coffee and cakes then chatted for a bit. “Senku what are you up to right now?” you asked him and then took a sip from your frappe. “Nothing much to be honest. Just doing some research and learning with the dude we met in NASA,” he casually said and ate his cake.
After you ate you made your way to the cinema and picked a horror movie. You sat between Yuzuriha and Senku so every time that there is a jump scare you hide your face on Senku’s shoulder while Taiju and Yuzuriha laugh at your reaction.
“That’s bullshit we shouldn’t have picked the other one!”
“C’mon Y/n your reaction was priceless!”
“Tsk, she kept on hiding her face behind me, you big oaf”
“You looked cute together earlier,” Yuzuriha blurted out that made you blush and distance yourself away from Senku. You saw a cotton candy stand and you dragged Senku towards it, “Senku buy me some.”
“Tsk, you shouldn’t have done that Y/n. Just tell me if you want that I’ll give it to you,” he said and you bought it for Taiju and Yuzuriha as well. The four of you when to the park and ate some ice cream. The sun was setting and you felt Senku poking your cheek.
“Y/n, w-we’re going for now. My mom asked me to buy her doughnuts and I’m bringing Taiju along. Sorry to leave you with Senku! I love you Y/n!”
“Senku! You know what to do man! Good luck!”
“I love you too Yuzuriha-chan!” you said and you looked at Senku with a confused look on your face. “Y/n.. I n-need to tell y-you something im.. important,” Senku said with a shaky voice and avoiding your gaze. “What is it Senku-kun?” you asked and he held your hand while looking deeply in your e/c orbs using his ruby ones.
“I like you and go out with me,” he bluntly said and you were shocked of course.
You laughed when you remembered how he confessed, he seemed nervous at first but he demanded you to go out with him too. “Why are you laughing Y/n?” he asked and you looked at him. His face didn’t change a bit after 3,700 years he still looks gorgeous as ever.
“Senku,” you called out for him and he hummed as a response. “I love you so much,” you said and you saw him blush and Ginro saw it too and started to tease him about it. “Look at Senku! He’s blushing when Y/n said I love you to him!” he shouts it out and Chrome joined in to tease him too. You heard Gen, Ukyo, and Ryusui laugh behind you. Gen went beside Senku and nudged his shoulders, “So the mighty and smart Senku blushes eh?”
Senku only scoffed and continued to do what he was doing. It was near lunchtime so you decided to help Francois to make some food. After preparing food you and Suika called the others to eat.
Senku planned to create cities all over the world and find what caused the petrification so the both of you doesn’t bond like before that made you upset a little bit but of course you respect Senku and you want him to achieve his goals so you help and support him.
You went to sit beside him and started to eat but an idea popped up on your mind. Teasing and making Senku blush and embarrassed was one of your hobbies when you two are together. You cut a piece of pork, “Senku say ahh.”
You noticed that everyone around you stopped and watched the both of you and all of you noticed a blush on Senku’s face. “Tsk, what are you doing Y/n? I can eat by myself,” he said and looked at his side. You pouted and sniffed in short you were acting like you are upset, “B-but Senku.. *sniffs* I’ll cry if you not gonna eat this,” you said and Senku looked at you and he was surprised when he saw the tears running down your cheeks.
“You brat,” he said then took the piece of pork you cut for him. Senku doesn’t like it when his baby cry. Yup, he calls you baby when you two are alone and away from the others. Ginro, Chrome, and Gen started to tease Senku after the meal and Yuzuriha said you did great and she asked if you could help her to make some clothes.
“Hey Y/n-chan, if you and Senku will be married one day I’ll be the one to make your dress ok?” she said and you just blushed. You never thought of it especially you’re just 18 and he’s 19 and he is busy as hell to rebuild the civilization from scratch. “You really have an advance mind huh?” you said and then laughed it off.
“Stand up y/n please. I’ll take your measurements,” Yuzuriha said and you looked at her confused. “W-well I’m t-trying to attempt uhh you k-know.. To c-create a wedding dress and I want you to b-be the model of it,” she said it fast but stuttering at the same time. You just nodded as a yes and stood up.
“36 24 36 is your vital statistics eh? That’s like the perfect vital statistics y/n-chan!” she squealed and hugged you. For you, it doesn’t matter as long as you have a full-body you’re fine. “What kind of wedding dress are you even planning to do Yuzuriha?” you asked and she showed you a sketch. “Here! It’s kinda cute isn’t it?” she said and started to do her magic. After four hours the both of you finished and you are wearing the dress the both of you made.
It hugged your curves perfectly and it is backless which you like and there are some laces. You noticed that she took out some gloves as well and she put them on you. “This is good! You look really great even without make-up y/n!” she said then you remembered that Senku made some makeup and you asked Suika to grab it for you.
Yuzuriha called Ruri, Kohaku, Suika, and Francois to help you. You were just going to model it why the heck they made it looked like you are going to get married? After 30 minutes of hell, the girls squealed except for Francois. They said to look in the mirror and you did.
You look really beautiful and elegant, the girls said you should show it to Senku and the others and you blushed furiously. “It’s embarrassing guys! I’m just gonna model it right? WHY THE HECK ARE YOU WEARING THE SAME DRESSES?!” you asked shocked. They looked like your bridesmaid and Suika is the flower girl. “Aww, how cute y/n. You are going to get married today!” Ruri said and you were confused as heck. Married? You? To whom? Then you remembered Senku. Your blush becomes deep red and you just felt someone covered your eyes and dragged you outside.
Because the tent where Yuzuriha work is far away from Senku they made the preparations for the wedding ceremony you didn’t noticed it. Senku looked at the rings Chrome and him made, it is made of gold and there is a ruby gem in the center of it. Senku knows how much you talked about how his eyes look like ruby and how much you love them. One of the villagers brought the ruby to him as a thank you gift for curing Ruri which made him plan all of this.
“I’m his best man you idiots back off!” he heard Ryusui said. He sighed and looked at Taiju, “Come here you big oaf, you’re my best man.” Taiju looked at him teary-eyed and he hugged Senku, “I’m so happy for you Senku! Finally after those years of trying to confess to her you two would get married!”
You nervously took slow steps as the girls guide you to God knows where. “Where are we going?” you asked but they seem to ignore you.
“I can’t believe Senku, why he didn’t propose first?”
“You know him Kohaku-chan he is not that type of guy.”
“Yuzuriha you don’t make sense he should’ve proposed first.”
“Senku-sama needs time too. You know he is planning to revive the 7 billion people around the world, Ruri-sama.”
“I don’t get you at all but I’m happy to be a flower girl for Senku and Y/n!”
You just gave up and let them drag and guide you while they were arguing why he didn’t propose.
The place looks so beautiful with all of the flowers and decorations. The wedding would be held near the Perseus and the reception would be on the ship. Senku was so happy even though he knows that you would complain about why the hell he didn’t propose first. He wanna laugh just by thinking about it. The aisle was covered with the curtains that Yuzuriha made so they wouldn’t see you.
You stopped at your tracks and you felt they removed the thing that was covering your eyes. You blinked twice to adjust to the light and you saw flowers everywhere. It looks like some of the decorations for a wedding.
“What the hell is this, Yuzuriha?” you asked and she just smiled at you. You saw them lined up and walked to the aisle.
Your maid of honor is obviously Yuzuriha. The bridesmaids are Ruri and Kohaku along with the females in the village. Tsukasa, Chrome, Ukyo, Ryusui, Magma, Kinro, and the other males are the groomsmen. Suika is the flower girl while Ginro is the ring bearer.
In Senku’s mind, everything is perfect, the plan was going smoothly. They heard the violin played by Francois, where the hell did they get that? Simple, Senku and the old man Kaseki made it and Francois was playing Beautiful in White. This is the signal that you are going to walk down the aisle with Gen.
Gen was wearing a tux that Yuzuriha probably made before. “Let me walk you to Senku dear Y/n,” he said and you wrapped your arm around his arm and you started to walked when they removed the curtains.
Senku looked at you with tears in his eyes but he wiped them away so no one could see how pathetic he looked. In his mind, you were so beautiful in the wedding gown, the way it hugged your curves perfectly, and how it looked so good on you. Although he can’t really see your face because of the veil he knows how beautiful you look right now.
You looked at Senku wearing a white tux and you noticed him wipe his tears, you giggled and Gen copied you probably he saw it too. When you were near Senku Gen said something that made you blush and he handed your hand to Senku, “Don’t ever hurt my sister Senku-chan.”
Yep, you and Gen are siblings not by blood because you were adopted by his parents. You hugged Gen and said thank you to him. You and Senku walked to the priest and the wedding ceremony began.

Senku put up your veil and looks at your e/c orbs then he leans forward and kisses your lips softly and you kissed him back. You heard claps from everyone and some wolf whistles and that made you blush. You looked at your ruby ring and Senku. “I can’t believe that we’re married,” you said and Senku just smiled at you. “Well I wanna marry you as soon as possible,” he said and you playfully hit his chest.
The banquet started and everybody enjoyed the food that Francois made and the booze that the villagers stored at their tents. Meanwhile, you and Senku were in one of the rooms at the Perseus and…

Dr. Stone/Atla AU pt. 1: The Little Water Dragon
Story beats for a fic in the works by yours truly, though you could always wait until I get around to publishing it so as to avoid spoilers.
Ryusui Nanami is born to the Nanami family of the Northern Water Tribe. His father is a cousin of Chief Arnook, making Ryusui and Princess Yue second cousins. When Ryusui is four he discovers that he is a waterbender, much to the delight of his family.
When Ryusui was five, his cousin Princess Yue was born, though it quickly spread throughout the palace that the newborn infant was sickly and may die. When Yue was saved by the Moon Spirit, there was much rejoicing and a grand party was held in celebration of the princess, where young Ryusui gave an excited greeting to the baby in her cradle.
Ryusui begins his waterbending lessons at age six, training with Master Pakku, though the hyper little boy gets on Pakku’s nerves a lot. One day due to his mischief and experimentation with advanced moves that Pakku told him he was too young for, ten year old Ryusui injured himself and was sent to the healing huts, where he met Yagoda. Amazed to see waterbending healing for the first time, Ryusui thanked Yagoda and asked if she would teach him healing, but was told that boys can’t learn healing and girl’s can’t learn fighting. Ryusui was confused, and eventually concluded that a true master waterbender would know the arts of both combat and healing. He thus decided to ask Pakku to teach him healing. When Pakku dismissed it as ridiculous and “unbecoming of a man” to learn women’s work, Ryusui became frustrated.
Soon after though, he’s approached by some of the waterbender girls from the healing huts, who offer to teach him healing in exchange for him teaching them combat waterbending. Thus starts Ryusui’s secret training along with a group of girls who eventually become good friends of his.
When Ryusui is 12, one of his and Yue’s older cousins becomes betrothed, but doesn’t seem to be happy about it. Ryusui asks her what’s wrong, since he thought that girls liked falling in love and getting married. His 16 year old cousin says that she didn’t want to get married just yet, and that her fiancé is a stranger to her. At the wedding Ryusui notices that his cousin has a sad expression on her face, and decides that if he gets married it will be to someone who wants to marry him.
By the time he turns 21, Ryusui is one of the best benders in the entire tribe, but his flamboyant personality causes his family to be rather annoyed with him. Ryusui is a bit of an oddball - though he is a master bender and has hundreds of Northern forms memorized, a lot of his techniques involve improvising and combining moves in unique ways, utilizing his innate sense of the water’s movement. From his secret study Ryusui has also become very skilled in healing, though he wasn’t able to practice on actual people.
Ryusui’s friends/students from the healing huts total to about a dozen young women and teenagers, all of whom have become strong combat benders in their own right through his secret tutoring. As a promising young bender and member of the nobility, Ryusui is considered prime son-in-law material and his parents really want him to get married, but somehow he manages to keep pissing off any potential in-laws, thus avoiding all marriage proposals.
Ryusui attends the banquet celebrating the arrival of Avatar Aang and their kin from the Southern Tribe. Afterwards he goes to meet them, loudly introducing himself and saying that as someone who desires to be the master of all waterbending, he would like to learn their Southern waterbending forms. Katara is a bit intimidated by his personality, but agrees, saying they could exchange techniques in the morning when they meet Master Pakku.
Ryusui’s face falls when he hears them mention his master and explains that Pakku will never agree to train Katara. Aang suggests that perhaps he’d be more open to a request from the Avatar himself, but Ryusui says the old man is hopeless. He then advises Katara to find Sifu Yagoda before bidding them goodnight.
The next day after a rather unpleasant encounter with Pakku, Katara furiously heads over to the healing huts to find Yagoda. After the healing lesson, Yagoda reveals that Katara’s grandmother Kanna was Northern, and points her in the direction of Ryusui’s secret training grounds.
Aang and Katara visit the location late at night, where they find Ryusui and a handful of teenagers and young women practicing waterbending forms, much to their surprise. Ryusui spots them and introduces Katara as “our sister master of the Southern style,” which Katara says is flattering but a bit of an exaggeration. Ryusui reveals that for years they have been training and planning for an opportunity to show off their skills to the Chief in the hopes of convincing him to change the rule about gender segregated bending styles, and that Katara and Aang’s assistance might be the last push they need.
When the group of waterbenders goes to confront the Chief, an uproar is sent up, with Pakku declaring that Ryusui has sullied the sacred art of waterbending by learning healing and teaching combat bending to women. Ryusui shoots back that he and his sister benders have become strong waterbenders not because they wish to defile the sacred arts, but because they love and appreciate all types of bending and the knowledge passed down from the ancestors. Katara ends up starting a fight with Pakku, which culminates in a free for all where the women waterbenders demonstrate their skills, using Ryusui’s uniquely adaptive style.
When Pakku traps the benders in a hail of icicles and starts to walk away, Ryusui nods to Katara and the benders melt the ice to form a podium that raises Katara and the women high up so they can address the gathered crowd.
Katara and the other women deliver a speech about how the Water Tribes have lost their way during the war. The tribes are meant to symbolize the love and community that keeps hope in people’s hearts in times of change and turmoil, but the Southern Tribe has fractured, their spirits broken from the endless war. In order to reunite the tribes and defeat the Fire Lord, should not the Tribes embrace change as water itself does? Water is the element of change, after all. Women are not only good for healing, and men are not only good for combat. Each individual knows their own capabilities best, and not allowing the power of choice limits their ability to fight against the Fire Nation.
Their display is compelling, but Chief Arnook still looks reluctant to change such an old tradition. Yue however stands up and asks if she can say a few words. Arnook allows it, and Yue points out that if the Avatar were to incarnate into the Northern Water Tribe as a woman, would the sages dare tell her that she was not to learn bending, to not claim her spiritual destiny? Aang himself says if anyone likes, he could probably call up a female waterbender past life of his to add her perspective. Chief Arnook sees the logic in the argument, while Pakku is forced to admit defeat.

May I request a ryusui scenario where a kind reader used to be secretly jelly because of his charm with the ladies (i mean I don’t blame them :’)) and she’s had unrequited love for him since then but since they’re in the new stone world, the tables flip on ryu and he gets jelly of some of the guys who seem intimate with reader (who woke up way before him so she’s made friends with gen and ukyo) or something and ends up confessing? 💖💖💖
Ryusui is such a charming guy, I like his personality and his ambitions in life. I love how dedicated he was and a softie too ;-; of course, Ukyo is still the softest baby

Upon the battle between Senku and Tsukasa had finally ended, Senku had managed to acquire you all and Tsukasa was turned into stone by the scientist in order to save his life from the severe injury that he had inflicted from Hyoga. For his next plan, you heard that he’s going to build a ship to which it really stunned and delivered you speechless due to the fact that building a ship in this stone world was certainly impossible. However, you still, haven’t fully known him well; hence you kept quiet and watched the former enemy of Tsukasa fabricates the vessel that he’s been planning. Moreover, what really made you astounded is the fact that Senku had revived Ryusui without any second thoughts.
The reporter, Minami had told him about Ryusui’s undeniable skills in sailing, and also, she told Senku that you and Ryusui were friends ever since childhood. That being said, you told the scientist that Ryusui is indeed a good sailor, telling him everything that you know about him. Of course, you informed him about his twisted personality as well, just like what the reporter had explained to Senku.
But in as much that Ryusui is a greedy man; you knew to yourself that behind that self-centred personality of him lays a good intention behind that greediness of him. You’ve been with him since the day when you’re both primary schoolers, so you already grasped Ryusui’s personality well. Both of your families were close, and that’s the reason why you’re both inseparable, you would accompany him in every expedition he’d do and you were always beside him in every hardship that he had encountered.
In every single day that you’re with Ryusui, that’s when you started to develop feelings for the greediest man you had ever known. You didn’t expect that you’re going to fall in love with your childhood friend despite that he’d tend to annoy you in every possible way. You know full well how Ryusui is such a charming man, the way how he could get tons of women because of how a smooth talker Ryusui was, beautiful women would flock to him and get his attention in every way that they can. And this bastard childhood friend of yours would immediately entertain them which caused you to be jealous because of the fact that you like Ryusui as a man and he’s entertaining lots of attractive women that drastically decreases your self-esteem.
You’re couldn’t compete with those girls, specifically that they have those hourglass bodies, beautiful face and who has this confidence within them. Although in all your life you’ve always been with him, you still don’t have the spirit to talk to him about what you truly felt and what’s been running in your mind, you couldn’t even give him suggestions that could help him with his work and plans because of the anxiety that’s bottling inside you, what if he rejects your suggestions? And he might not even accept it? You don’t want that.
Now that Ryusui has been revived, you only flashed him a small smile and welcomed him back; you didn’t expect that he would bombard you with a hug as soon as his eyes landed on your form. He was delighted to see you in this stone world and asked how you’ve been. You told him about how Tsukasa was the one who revived you with the help of Senku’s experiment on the revival fluid.
After the de-petrification of Ryusui, that’s when things become busier, you and the others were hunting more resources and foods for the villagers because Ryusui had apprised Senku to build agriculture, which the scientist agreed in an instant.
In those weeks that you and the others were searching for food, you and Ukyo had become closer rather than the days you both spent in Tsukasa’s empire. Since you’re also good in using the bow and arrow, he and you would hunt for more animals and gather foods together. You talked about a lot of things and that’s when you started to know more about him. He was actually the compassionate guy and 100% cinnamon roll, because of his personality, you’d tend to tease him how softie he was.
Ryusui noticed how you and Ukyo would always go together to hunt some animals and how you both become much closer to him rather than the days before he told Senku to build agriculture. At first, he didn’t mind how you and Ukyo would go together, but as the days go by, you two were always been together and you would even try to joke around with him. This made Ryusui felt something bubbling within him, his stomach would coil unpleasantly and didn’t like how you would laugh and have a good time with the sonar man.
It feels like whenever he’d watch you smiling at him and try to approach him rather than Ryusui who was your childhood friend ever since he’d feel something pricking his heart and he doesn’t like the attention you’re giving Ukyo. Your attention was supposed to be only at him, you’re always with him ever since you were kids, so why you’re not approaching him like before and even follow him wherever he would go?
Then Ryusui comes into a realization as to why he’s feeling this strange and disagreeable emotion. It’s because he was jealous, he was jealous of Ukyo who has your full attention and the usual smile that you’d always give Ryusui back then.
He clicked his tongue in annoyance and everyone knows how greedy he was, that’s why he’ll do anything to get your attention again, he was entitled as the greediest man for nothing.
The next day, you prepared yourself and grabbed your tools to hunt again with Ukyo, when you finally saw the sonar man and was about to call his name, Ryusui had suddenly appeared in front of you while his hands were placed on his hips, he was looking at you with a frown look and you already had the knowledge that whenever he’d have this kind of expression, you know that there’s something that upsets him.
“What do you want, Ryusui?” you asked, eliciting a soft sigh before staring at his ocean blue eyes that were seriously captivating. It’s been a while since you last talked to him since you were pretty busy hunting for food with Ukyo, and you never had once approached him like you used to back in the modern age. Are you really that busy to not approach your childhood friend?
“You’re done hunting, (Name),” he said with finality in his voice. This causes you to arch your brow and looked at him with a confused gaze.
“What are you talking about? Didn’t you say that we should build agriculture? That’s why we’re doing our jobs here, Ryusui,” you stated in a matter of fact tone and Ryusui’s expression turned into dangerous and no single mischief in his eyes.
“If I say you’re done with your task, then you’re done, (Name), don’t repeat myself.”
His reply makes you annoyed and you couldn’t even discern as to why he’s saying that you’re done doing your tasks when it’s obvious that you’re still short for resources.
“I don’t get you, Ryusui. Did your brain cells have left you when you were de-petrified to become this idiot?” Your response had made him shock and lips slightly parted. “Can’t you see? We’re still short for resources, I still need to hunt, you’re the one who says that we need to get more supplies to feed the entire village and now you’re stopping me? I don’t really get you.”
You only watched Ryusui having trouble look on his face, you tried to wait for him to say something, but many seconds and minutes of waiting, he still hasn’t replied you, then that’s your cue to leave the Sailor. Ryusui never felt this desperate to grab a girl’s attention since he had used to them having their attention without him doing anything, they were the ones who would flock over him and worship him as if he was the last man in Earth.
But feeling this strange emotion towards his childhood friend, then that’s when he snapped his sanity, due to him being accustomed of you who would always give him your full attention, having another man taking it away from him was another thing that he wasn’t to disappear from his possessions. Then that’s when he realizes, he fucking likes you since then.
You are his.
Ryusui hastily turned his heels to confront you, and before you can actually leave and go to Ukyo, he swiftly circled his hand on your wrist causing you to stop from your tracks and peer over your shoulders to sight Ryusui. You were bewildered from what he was doing, but before you can say anything, he suddenly pulled you towards him and bumped into his broad chest and felt his arms snaked around your waist.
Gasping at his sudden action, you place your hands on his chest to put a space between you and him, however, Ryusui was only hugging you tighter, preventing you from your plan. You can feel your face heating up and heart beating fast because never once you have been this close to him. Moreover, everyone was staring at the both of you, as if they were watching some kind of a dramatic and cliché movie. You wanted to push him away because it’s making you embarrassed, but half of you liked it since this is the first time in your life being with him to receive this kind of embrace. Still, you need to get away because everyone was looking.
“R-Ryusui… p-please let go, e-everyone is staring,” you stuttered, feeling your face becoming red as a tomato.
“I refuse, and for all I care with everyone. If they want to stare then let them stare. So that they would be aware of whom you belong to,” Ryusui’s tone was firm and unwavering, and seemed like he was serious to what he just confessed right now – scratch that! He’s really serious!
“I-I don’t get it…” well, it’s true that you don’t get his words, your brain was trying to absorb his statement but it was futile, it seemed like your brain is not functioning well.
Ryusui pushed you on your shoulders and his ocean blue colored orbs stared intently into your (color) eyes like he was penetrating your soul.
“It’s because I’m jealous at Ukyo, (Name). I don’t like how you’re giving him your full attention when it was supposed to be mine, I don’t want him to take you away from me, you’re mine ever since then, got that?”
“Huh?”
Ryusui elicits an exasperated sigh before grabbing your shoulders and locked gazes with you, “I like you okay? Ever since but I’m too oblivious to notice it. I should have known sooner.”
Seriously, this was all shocking for you that you couldn’t keep up. You couldn’t believe that this egotistic man named Ryusui was jealous at Ukyo because you’re giving him your attention. And what makes you more astonished is the fact that Ryusui just confessed his feelings for you.
Ahh! Your heart is in chaos! The tables had flipped! Because back in your age, you were jealous of how he’s giving other girls his attention and now in this stone world, he was jealous of Ukyo having all your attention and that leads him from confessing. You want to jump in ecstasy because your feelings were mutual, but you couldn’t since the vigorous beating of your heart was preventing you and too embarrassed since he just divulged his feeling in front of everyone.
But still, you liked it anyway.
“Did Ryusui just confessed to him?” You heard Suika’s innocent voice that snapped you out from your trance.
“That’s true, Suika-chan. That’s what people do when they couldn’t contain their jealousy anymore,” Gen snickers as he darted his mocking gaze at the both of you.
“That’s why love is illogical.” Senku repulsively trailed off while picking his left ear with his pinky finger.
But nonetheless, everyone was joyous and celebrated because of the new couple in the science kingdom.

Ashes and Dust (Part 1)
"Why do you say that? You live in Konohagakure no Sato so you're one of us."
Little did she know, Kushina had fallen in love with who she considered the greatest ninja this decrepit little village would ever produce.
And that would be the first step in her descent to madness.

"Summimasen, Sumure san, I hope I didn't keep you waiting for too long." He said upon reaching the older man, his head bowed a fraction. Yamanaka Sumure didn't reply at first, cold blue hues fixed upon the boy as if in deliberation.
"Did you find her?"
"Hai. She's recovering in the hospital wing right now."
Cue a grunt that Minato had come to identify as approval. Long, spidery digits came to grasp his clothed arm and he felt the familiar, impatient tug. Feet moved in automation as he had long learned to simply not bother. The Yamanaka wasn't terribly unkind - rather, Minato liked to think that the man had a hard time communicating. In fact, the only person he had ever seen him talk softly to was Ryusui Sobo.
That had been so long ago. Heaving the tiniest of sighs, the blond stared at his dirty shoes as they crunched against the autumn waste. Silver moonlight flickered in patches over the track that led to the Yamanaka compound, overshadowed by the thicket of trees that crept over the Nara woodlands. Such were the ties that bound the Yamanaka with the Nara and the Akimichi clans - the legendary trio that had remained faithful long since before they had joined Konoha.
Ryusui Sobo had told him all the stories. Minato had been her favorite (and only) student, after all. In fact, she was the reason he was here. She had left him a few things in her will and now he was finally old enough to collect. The clan head had been after his hide since the last two months, and had just about threatened to burn his seeming-inheritance if he didn’t show up today.
But then Kushina had gotten herself kidnapped and the village had declared a level 3 emergency. All active shinobi ranked Chunin and above were to track her down and eliminate any assailants found.
Minato being Minato, had been the only one to notice the trail she had left - and naturally, Minato being Minato, had been too concerned with getting her back safely to properly ‘deal’ with her captors. The three Kumo shinobi had disappeared as soon as he had unbound her.
Not that their little disappearing act helped. Konoha and Kumo would go to war and they only had themselves to blame.
“We’re here.”
But at least she’s safe - a small voice, very much like his own was enough to coax a smile from his monotonous features. Blue hues flickered upwards to the hauntingly familiar floral patterned shoji door that belonged to his deceased grandmother’s quarters. Minato had been given the option of claiming her space as his own when she had died, but he had politely declined.
He happened to like his little apartment near the trade district, thank you very much. It gave him plenty of excuses to frequent Jiraiya sensei’s house and he was more than content with the barrage of cold cereal and sweet dumplings that would usually greet his arrival.
The Jonin gave him a semblance of family that only his grandmother had managed to provide when he was younger. Bending down on one knee, the Namikaze removed his dirty shinobi sandals, mindful of keeping them in the floral-patterned rack she had put there just for him. A hand on his shoulder cautioned him not to linger and Minato rose, fingers easily sliding the door open.
It took him a moment to realize that he wasn’t alone, and that Sumure was standing too close for comfort - another to realize that he couldn’t move. The hand on his shoulder tightened for a brief moment before it fell away, and blue hues found themselves locked on the intruder’s emotionless brown ones.
“- so you're one of us."
The last thing he remembered was gloved digits weaving hand signs for a jutsu he did not recognize, before a palm was slapped tightly over the top half of his face. He couldn’t see anything, but that was hardly the troublesome part. Tendrils of icy chakra crawled over his skin, leaving burning imprints in its wake. It burrowed through his forcefully open eyes, flooding his being with a painful numbness that he couldn’t help but succumb to.
“- one of us.”
Namikaze Minato knew no more.

“Sensei, please” The man begged, hands splayed in front of him, “He’s a clan-less, airhead of a boy” a Jonin as reputable as Jiraiya was not prone to such helplessness, and it made him feel a certain degree of powerlessness that he hadn’t felt in a...very long time, “Anyone. Anyone else and I wouldn’t be fighting with you on this.”
That boy was a prodigy. He was the child of destiny. Minato--
“Enough.” the Sandaime sounded tired, if not entirely exhausted. Dark hues surveyed the village before him, the glass of his window doing little to reflect the sheltered expression he wore, “I think you should get ready for your mission.”
“Sensei!”
“Not now, Jiraiya. We have bigger things afoot.” His tone was more stern this time, as he turned to face the floundering mammoth of a man that was his student - one that had been reduced to a spluttering, yet surprisingly resolute wreck. The sight was enough to make the sensei in him soften - if only a tad. Sarutobi stepped towards him, one hand resting softly on his shoulder in what he hoped was a comforting gesture.
“I promise to keep an eye out for him” He began, his tone taking an instructive hue, “But we have a war to worry about and you need to focus. We can discuss this case after you return from Amegakure.”
“...”
“Go. Orochimaru and Tsunade are waiting for you.”

Pale digits mindlessly traced the Konoha symbol on her hita-ite as a medic filled out a form on her clipboard. She had been filling out said form since the last twenty minutes and Kushina was quickly getting bored. Sure, she had almost been kidnapped - sure, the chakra draining binds had left her feeling pretty weak (or she would have kicked their butts ‘ttebane!), and she had almost passed out by the time Minato had gotten her to the hospital.
But as always, she healed pretty damn fast. The demon in her would never let any real harm come to his beloved host.
Or so he liked to claim when he wasn’t hurling insults at her. Regardless, her as-per-the-usual speedy recovery was probably an alien concept to the older woman as she peered at Kushina, her eyes narrowed and pen hovering annoyingly over the page.
“And you’re sure you don’t feel any pain wh--”
“Iie ‘ttebanne!” she hopped off the bed, violet hues narrowed in a glower only she could muster after such an ordeal, “I’m fine! Its what I’ve been trying to tell you since I got here”
Honestly, she should have forced Minato to treat her to ramen instead. What a flake. Kushina felt a dopey grin stretch on her face at the momentary thought, along with the slightest bit of color.
“Kushina san, I still think--” Cue a low growl that shut her up, as the Uzumaki crossed her arms in front of her chest. They stayed like for an entire minute before she rolled her eyes and stomped towards the door.
“Kushina san--”
“Don’t worry, I’ll be back if my nose itches” Was the flat reply before Kushina disappeared out the door, leaving her poor medic to wonder whether she would get reprimanded by her superiors for something that wasn’t even her fault.
Kami, what a waste of time though! the red-head huffed, half-expecting the Namikaze to be waiting in the hospital lobby, and slightly disappointed that he wasn’t there.
He must have been tired, she reasoned with the morose little twinge in her heart. No biggie, she would bother him tomorrow - maybe even let him accompany her to Ichiraku’s for lunch? She would pay, of course - but just this once! She wasn’t made of money ‘ttebanne.
But for all her planning, she couldn’t find him in the morning, either. Seemingly, he had been sent to a mission in Kirigakure.
No problem. He would probably be back in a week, right?
Kushina wouldn’t know, for you see, after four days of her almost getting kidnapped, the Sandaime’s personal guard had showed up at the care center she shared with other orphans, a platoon of ANBU in tow. The entourage was a bit overkill, but seeing as how she had bitten one of them last time, and pushed another into a puddle of baby vomit...
Ahem.
Regardless. It was wartime. They would have to keep her in custody, safe from any possibilities of getting kidnapped and losing the bijū as a result. Kushina remembered feeling feeling puzzled at the idea, but seeing as how she had almost been kidnapped a few days ago, she supposed it wasn’t too unreasonable.
Had she known that the stupid village had in store for her, she would have probably sealed her entourage in a diaper bag and given the Hokage a black eye to go with his ugly goatee.
“Unreplicable.”
“So we stick to what Yuu said?”
“Yes”
“Ugh. Fine. Summon him and Daike.
“Iie. Can’t. Don’t have clearance from the council yet.”
“This is war. We have all the clearance we need.”
Violet hues snapped open as she sank to the floor, her knees unable to support her weight. The only thing stopping her from tumbling to the floor were her trembling arms - a rare sight considering the fact that this was Uzumaki Kushina they were talking about.
“I can’t” she whispered, her voice faint behind her infamous curtain of red locks. Pale digits slowly curled into a fist, “He’s still too hostile.”
Damn fox.
The man wearing the bear mask simply lowered his outstretched palm in response. He was sitting cross legged on the floor, surrounded by wooden totems and had his face been revealed the Uzumaki would probably see a plethora of scars decorating a dark, emotionless visage.
If he felt frustrated by the lack of her progress, he didn’t say anything. He was a patient man, in any case. “Why don’t you try again after a short break?” he monotoned, letting the wooden totems sink into the ground, though not bothering to get up in the least.
Why don’t you try choking on some v-- “I don’t see why this is so important ‘ttebanne.” She ground through clenched teeth before shooting the man a glower that would intimidate any Inuzuka, “I have him restrained and he’s not going to go on a rampage anytime soon.”
Bemused, the man simply cocked his head, seemingly unaffected by her glare. She was as tough as nails, really. Any normal gaki would have been terrified of her current predicament but here she was, probably imagining his head on fire or something.
He clearly had no clue how creative - or resilient the young Uzumaki could be. With a small huff, she pushed herself to her feet, almost tripping in the process. Her hands were balled into fists by her sides and at the moment she looked more feral than a cornered animal.
“You don’t get to question orders” He replied, wooden totems beginning to peak from the ground once more, “Again.”

Welcome back girlypop! I understand i love love Ryusui❤️ i assumed you wanted a drabble so that’s what I wrote. It’s kinda long but I hope you like it 💕
A date with your husband, Ryusui
It’s a good thing you aren’t claustrophobic, because the amount of people surrounding you right now is absurd. Makeup artist grabbing your face, tailors finishing sewing the dress/suit you’re already wearing, and hair stylist yanking and putting up your hair. You were used to it at this point, after all you had been modeling for years now. I’m fact it’s exactly how you met your husband, Ryusui. Right before the petrification of everyone in the world, the Nanami Conglomerate wanted to venture out and produce things besides ships. They started producing jewelry, perfumes and colognes, even kitchen utensils. But when they starting making clothes, that’s when you were called in. Very soon, you were one of the Nanami Conglomerates top models. There was photo shoot where you had to showcase watches; you were told you’d get a partner to pose with, but you didn’t think it be the heir of the Nanami Conglomerate himself. Safe to say you both adored each other. Even after everyone was petrified, you two thought about each other, and when Ryusui was revived, he wouldn’t dare do a thing without you by his side. After all the work and finding out who the Medusa really was, he bent down on one knee and asked to you to be his forever and in return he would be yours. It’s been a few years since that fateful day, having been married for two of them.
You take one final breath before stepping out on the runway, everyone clapping and cameras flashing. There’s one distinct voice that sticks out above the rest… “(Y/n)! Over here! You look so beautiful my amazing wife/husband/partner! “ You can see the people around him get annoyed (especially the photographers) but he could care less. Right now all he wants to do is support his partner

After the runway, and the close up photos, AND the after party, you sit in the back seat of a limousine with Ryusui with socks and sandals, one of his sweaters, and some sweatpants. You lean onto his shoulder, exhausted from the hectic day. “You did amazing love! That’s no surprise though, you’ve been this good from the first time I met you.” You softly smile, his words never stopped making your heart flutter. “Thank you darling…” you whisper back. “Why don’t you get some rest for a while? We’ll be home shortly.” You nod and take a short nap, falling asleep to the sound of his breath.

A few minutes pass when Ryusui wakes you up. As your eyes flutter open you can tell you’re not at home, but you know exactly where you are. Ryusui opens the door for you helping you out of the limo. You follow him into the woods, leading to a small picnic on the edge of a cliff. It hasn’t changed since he proposed to you. There were small candles glowing, flowers placed on the ground, and a small speaker with your favorite music playing. “What’s all this for love?” You question to him. He laughs, “Do you not know the date today?” The date? It’s just November 17….oh shit. “Oh my gosh, Ryusui I’m so sorry it just slipped my mind!” How could you forget your anniversary?? Ryusui treats you like a queen every day and you didn’t even remember to get him a gift for your anniversary? “Please forgive me Ryusui! I can’t believe I forgot! With the rehearsals and the fittings and-“ Ryusui laughs even louder this time. “You think I’m upset? Dear I know how busy you’ve been this month, I see how tired you are when you get home. I haven’t even seen you draw I’m forever!” You smile at him, how were you so lucky? “Come love, let me spoil you.” He helps you sit down, opening the picnic basket with your favorite foods and treats. You sit together for what feels like hours and enjoying each other’s company. You shared kiss after kiss, on your lips, on your cheeks, your nose your neck. The wine bottle and grapes are finished along with the snacks sandwiches. As your laughter dies, you can hear one of your favorite songs, the first song you and Ryusui danced to when you were married. “Do you hear you the song darling?” You ask him. “How could I not? It’s the song that reminds me of you.” He stands, offering his hand. You take it as he lifts you gently. One hand holds your hand and his other on you waist; your hand on his shoulder. Your bodies touch as you two dance, your head leans on his chest, his heart acting as the best melody. “Happy anniversary Ryusui…” you whisper to him, kissing his chest. “Happy anniversary (y/n), I love you so much, more than you’ll ever know.”

Can you do a headcanon of any dr.stone character with an always exhausted and introverted s/o? They’re just always exhausted with no reason why and they don’t like talking to people as that delays the possible time they could’ve been sleeping

Dr. Stone Characters with a Constantly Exhausted! Introvert! S/O.
The characters I chose for this are: Senku, Gen, Chrome, Ryusui, Hyoga, and Francois.
Random fun fact: I have the same MBTI as Senku! INTP! (Joel Gear from the manga also has the same type)
Senku Ishigami
Before you’re even dating, he may notice your constant exhaustion. It likely worries him, and he will probably try to seek out the cause.
He might confront you about how you’re sleeping at night, in order to offer advice, but even then, he makes the kingdom of science pull ungodly feets so he might just assume it’s all that hard work.
He’ll likely assume you have hyposomnia, or maybe insomnia at night, leading to sleeping throwout the day. Or something similar.
If it’s none of those, just how you are. He’ll except that and let you sleep periodically when you need to.
But he’ll likely remind you about how much sleep is TOO much sleep.
He really just means the best for you.
So if you need help sleeping better at night to prevent sleeping so much during the day, he’d make sleep drugs or melatonin.
He’s an introvert too, so he’d understand any of your personality traits pretty well.
If you just want to be alone, he understands that and will give you space.
If you don’t like big groups and need a break, that’s okay. But they need 800 manganese batteries so you can do that while you’re alone :)
He’s not very affectionate, so he’d show his love for you by giving you inventions to help you in any way you need, rather he makes them or asks a friend for a favor. So if that’s a pillow? There is left over fabric, he can ask Yuzuriha to sew it together for you.
Gen Asagiri
He understands, but he, like Senku, would be concerned.
He’d likely be trying to figure out if it’s a mental health issue. Or something typical, but harmful, like “revenge bed time.”
Insomnia can be caused by anxiety, or something of that sort. And same goes for hyposomnia.
If he rules you have neither, or even if you do, he’ll do anything he can to help you. Maybe by convincing you to go to bed earlier.
He likely would know it’s more than just this new world and the work Senku has everybody doing.
If he gets a chance though, he’s taking a nap with you. I think he’d be the type to hold you or let you sleep on his shoulder if you want.
Then he’d tell Senku he simply can’t work at the moment because it’d require waking you. (Senku would invent the megaphone just to wake you to do work)
Gen isn’t an introvert himself, but he has a strong understanding of mentalism, of course.
He’d understand you completely. And if the social life gets to be a lot, he’s got some ways to deal with it to help you.
Overall, he’d understand you don’t really want to be around everybody all the time. And that may include him.
Chrome
Are you… sick?
That was his first thought. But he’s smart. So it puts it together after talking to you.
If you have trouble sleeping at night, he’ll do anything he can to help.
If you sleep fine at night, but just sleep more anyways. He’d be a bit confused, especially if you are from the past. It’s a bit weird to see in a fast paced, grit and grind kind of life style.
He’ll do any work or scavenging or whatever all by himself if you need to catch up on some sleep, he really doesn’t mind! Because, yeah he likes your company, but he values your comfort (and safety, he doesn’t want you to fall asleep in a dangerous situation or to be too tired to think)
Really, he might have one of the least understanding of any of these terms and stuff out of anyone on this list, but he will likely be the sweetest one. He’s a quick learner too, so just tell him about your needs and he’ll respect that and work around that.
If you fell asleep on him, he’d be a blushing mess. Just saying.
He doesn’t have a great understanding of introverted vs extroverted people in terms of like terms and stuff. But he can tell some people are more social and lively, some people are more reserved.
So he doesn’t have a hard time adapting to your life style.
For example, if you want to stay in even though there is a party, he’d likely stay with you. He’s happiest where you are. (He might lightly nudge you towards just dropping by to say hi, especially if it’s a celebration of an accomplishment you both were a part of)
Ryusui Nanami
You’re tired? He’ll ask Francois to prepare you a bed if you don’t have one where they are.
You don’t want to walk? He’s carrying you.
You fall asleep on his shoulder? If anybody wakes you, they owe you 1000 dragos for the inconvenience to you. (He’ll likely wake you up accidentally and try to give you the money he threatened other people to have to give you. Tell him to put the dragos back)
Literally the most excessive man ever. He desires the best for you. (I love this man omg)
He’s not much help for an introvert though.
He’s always doing the most. Literally.
So quiet time usually means time AWAY from him. But don’t get it twisted, he can be quiet for you. If you want him to just spend time with you, but need silence. He can.
He’d be okay with just being in the same space together. He might be building a ship model while you sleep a few feet away. He’ll try to be quiet!
Or if you want a quiet night in, play him at chess. (Sai is shaking in his boots)
Francois
Anything you need is yours.
A drink on your bed side table? It’s yours.
Dating or not, they treat you so well.
If you are dating, they keep professional until nobody is looking. So it’s likely they don’t treat you any differently than everybody else until you’re both away from prying eyes.
You would also be the only one to see Francois rest, and know Francois does in fact run out of stamina. They are no Taiju.
So you’d likely take naps together.
I don’t see them being super physically affectionate, so likely just being within the same space as each other.
They treat you pretty much the same if you’re an extrovert or introvert, but an introvert would likely be preferred for them anyways. Seeing as they likely prefer quiet and peace when they get the chance.
Hyoga Akatsuki
I saved the worst for last :)
Now it depends on when he met you how he treats you, but how he thinks of you remains about the same.
At first, either way, he’d think you’re weak and likely wouldn’t give you time of day.

Or if you’re super intelligent and can use that as strength.
You’d have to have something to make him gain respect for you to even get together.

He says, at least. But he finds himself doing small things behind your back to make it easier on you.
If you two, for any reason, went out on a scouting or scavenging mission together, he’d stand guard and watch while you sleep. He says he’s stronger so it makes sense, but really he just thinks you should rest.
He’s come to care about you, rather he’ll admit it or not.
He’ll give you a, ever so slightly reluctant, helping hand when you need it.
He’d prefer an introverted s/o, likely, because he doesn’t have any interest in being encouraged to be social and lively.
He’d be the type to just like to be in the same room, at the same time, and that’s bonding.

Having Severe Brainrot over Tsukasa Shishio today
**Very Very Light Spoilers For Dr. Stone Stone Wars (season 2)**
(Under the cut because this is probably gonna be a long one akerkekjrjk)
Psst: There’s RyuKasa at the end
- This man is too pretty for words oh my god-
- Okay but: The gentlest of lers? Like- all those big muscles and insane strength but he’s so sweet and soft to those he tickles because he doesn’t want to hurt no one.
- Not usually one to initiate tickle fights- the times he does decide to play along are usually out of revenge or if he’s been requested to tickle. Again- he’s hyper aware of how strong he is and doesn’t want to hurt no one by accident.
- Usually the person who gently holds down the target while Senku and Co. wrecks them. He’s a bolder of a man, so wriggling away is not even an option (unless you ask- then he’ll gladly let you go)
- Will always check in with his lee to make sure they’re okay. He never wants to cross anyone’s boundaries and will stop immediately when asked. He also doesn’t really tease? He tried after prompting from Senku but felt kinda awkward, so he usually just nods along and smiles.
- As for himself: It’s really hard to tickle Tsukasa. Mainly because he’s tall as heck and pretty good at not reacting.
- Like he’s ticklish- but if he knows your gonna tickle him he’ll flex to a point where he barely feels it.
- Spoiler alert: Mirai spilled the beans on his tickle spots.
- Those being his feet, knees and armpits. (Also his neck/upper back but with all his hair and the cloak he wears it’s damn near impossible to get him)
- He can’t really guard against it when tickled there.
- Stone man activated: When tickled he immediately freezes up so he doesn’t swing at anyone and just lets whomever’s tickling him have their fun. (Usually it’s Senku or Taiju and Ryusui who do this) He’ll try to carefully escape to the ground for safety, but that just leaves himself open for more tickles.
- His laugh is rich and deep and lovely sounding. It’s the kind that rumbles to his core and might make one feel like they’re standing in an earthquake with how much it shakes our primate man.
- He’s kinda embarrassed about being ticklish? It doesn’t exactly fit the theme of “Ultimate Primate Student”. He’s not openly opposed to tickles by any means, but he can’t help but feel a tad weird about it at first. Once he warms up to it all he’s more comfortable.
- Aftercare with this man- oh my goodness he will treat you like royalty. Whatever you need: food, a drink, space to breath, cuddles after; he’s got you covered.
- He’s just a solid dude through and through in my most humble opinion

- Ryusui is a man of desire, and that includes finding out just where Tsukasa is ticklish so he can hear his laugh whenever the mood strikes.
- Granted, he himself is horribly ticklish, so it’s moreso an attempt to even out the playing field a little bit.
- He’ll sneak up on Tsukasa when their alone and give his armpits a scribble/randomly snatch up an ankle because he knows he can get away with it.
- He loves Tsukasa’s laugh. He’ll claim it his and his only.
- Of course he get’s wrecked almost immediately after.
- He’ll flirt the entire time with him just to get that soft blush reaction Tsukasa tries to hide.
- It only gets him more tickles.
- Worth it!

so now that im all caught up i got further Thoughts
it feels like a completely different thing from what the anime adapted. idek how to articulate this but as it goes on there’s this very slow very subtle change in tone and scale and stakes? to me at least? idk but its definitely there.
but i can’t wait to see stone wars animated. and hopefully it gets a full adaptation bc if i don’t get to hear ryusui’s voice i will cry. and speaking of ryusui, it’s so fucking weird. bc i’m the type of person who finds it very hard to get attached to new characters, especially when there’s a lot of them introduced at once
but that doesn’t seem to be the problem with this manga. honestly out of all of the sympathetic characters we have at this point there’s like none that i wouldn’t mind dying. and that’s a huge fucking deal ok
and let’s just talk about senku because he’s such a great protagonist. like he could’ve so easily been one of those really smart and really cold and asshole characters. but he’s not. he is very smart but he had to learn most of what he knows. he fails at stuff. he has limitations that he is perfectly aware of. and while he can be a bit of an asshole sometimes, he is a genuinely good person.
and i love how important everyone else is. because yea, without senku none of those would be possible, but it wouldn’t be possible without any of the others either, and senku knows that. and that’s why that one moment when he defeated ibara and he got a call from ruri is so important to me. because i’ve been waiting for that. like for full six months before taiju woke up he was alone. and even before that, FOR OVER 3700 YEARS HE KEPT COUNTING. AND HE WAS COMPLETELY ALONE
AND YES THIS IS AN ANIME BUT YOU CAN’T TELL THAT DIDN’T TAKE ITS TOLL ON HIM. and then taiju woke up but they had to part ways. but then he found chrome. and then gen showed up. and then the village kind of fell in love with him. aND NOW HE HAS THIS HUGE WONDERFUL FAMILY AND IT’S SO IIMPORTANT. because if he was on his own, he’d probably keep going. of course he would. that’s the kind of person he is. but there’d probably be a time when everything would catch up with him. when he’d get overwhelmed by how much he misses byakuya and the old world
and he probably has moments like that but i think it’s easier because there’s so many people around him and there’s always a goal. there’s always something to do. and yea overall a lot falls onto his shoulders but it’s definitely a lot easier. also at one point he admitted that he does in fact get angry sometimes and im so mad we never get to see that (well there was that one moment in like ch 104 and it was glorious) (also lowkey favourite comedic moments are the ones with happy chibi senku aha) (also :3 kohaku is best girl ever)
also i’m kind of realizing that family and community and interpersonal relationships are like very important themes in this manga AND I LOVE IT sghsngsn it’s so good

CARNIVAL EVE recap
Or: way too many characters to remember, Ryusui sending people weird stories YET AGAIN, an ominous prophecy, and horses and deers and cats, oh my!

This book is more of an introduction to Carnival than its own thing (although Seriyoin claims in the author’s note that it’s a separate whole, so YMMV). It’s set in August 1996 – 2,5 years after the Locked Room Lord case – and so we have to catch up on what the characters have been up to.
Because of the sheer amount of old and new characters, I’m doing what Seiryoin does and bolding names that you Really Should Remember For Later.
THE ‘CATCHING UP WITH CHARACTERS’ PART:
Hikimiya Yuuya, the statistics expert of JDC, is going through a rough patch. He’s so concerned with the vague Internet rumour about the worldwide “Crime Olympics” coming soon that his work performance suffered and landed him back in the Second Group of JDC. Cue imposter syndrome. Hikimiya is also afraid that were the worldwide crime event to really occur, his sweetheart Ryuuguu Otohime (the older sister of Ryuuguu Jounosuke) would have trouble surviving because of her disability. Right now Hikimiya’s leaving for France, where he will assist / learn under one of the seven S-rank detectives in the world, nicknamed Deus Ex Machina.
Yaiba Somahito, the leader of JDC's First Group, recently had to be hospitalized after he’d collapsed from stress. He’s worried that the stress brought on by the Crime Olympics -- will they occur -- could finally trigger his (still unclarified) hereditary psychiatric disorder. In the hospital he befriends a young boy, Amano, who with his prematurely white hair looks a lot like Yaiba’s brother Amato (who committed suicide years ago because of the aforementioned hereditary disorder). Amano was given only a few months to live.
While Yaiba’s hospitalized, Kirika Mai takes over his duty as the First Group’s leader. While people seem to like her in this position, she considers herself a temporary replacement. Since the last time we saw her she cut her hair short and has started dating a forensics expert Hazama [who showed up briefly in Joker]. She’s still confused about whether or not she has/had A Thing for Juku or was it just deep respect or what, and she certainly feels a pang of jealousy whenever she thinks about him surrounded by other people but not her.
Kirika mentions getting an author manuscript of a book describing the Locked Room Lord case. Every detective concerned gets a copy so they can approve the scenes they show up in. The book is written by a mysterious writer using the nickname Seiryoin Ryusui and is called Cosmic. It seems Seiryoin is already working on another book, Joker, this one about the Geneijo case. [WE META NOW, WE META HARD]
Tsukumo Nemu is there, but doesn’t really do anything in this book. Aside from instilling JDC representative Ajiro Souji’s “stupid parental feelings” and indirectly making him remember his dead son Souya, that is. [Have I ever mentioned that my favourite JDC AU is the one in which Ajiro inexplicably becomes the dad to Juku, Nemu, and the Ryuuguu siblings in addition to his own son? Just the 30-something Ajiro and a bunch of quirky genius kids he’s dadding over. Perfect.]
Amagi Hyouma is distraught after his work partner Yakuma Suzume was arrested for drug possession. Yakuma was a JDC detective whose reasoning ability was at its height when he subjected himself to risky activities like bungee jumping. Adrenaline and all. Nicknamed “Akuma”, or demon.
Later Hyouma is entrusted by Ajiro to take a bottle of alcohol to Yaiba as a get-well-soon gift, but predictably drinks it all right there in JDC’s lobby – his own meta-reasoning method relies on him getting drunk and, well, it didn't have the best influence on his life. Hyouma thinks a lot about his mysterious past: he can’t remember his parents, and all that his early childhood left him are vague memories of a terrifying fire and burn marks he usually hides under his bandana. He still dearly remembers his dead girlfriend Takabe Yuu (the one who died in Cosmic) and always wears a locket with her picture.
Later in the hospital Hyouma spends some time playing UNO with a fairly new detective Suzukaze Unomaru. Unomaru talks and dresses like a samurai completely with a wooden sword strapped to his back. His reasoning power increases when he’s playing card games (any and all, though UNO is his favorite), and in fact he got hospitalized because he’d somehow fucked up his hands due to too intense card game playing.
Later Hyouma is given a lift back to JDC by Kasumi Fuyuka (whose D-name, that is her “detective nickname”, is Fuyuu Kasumi), who’s similar in looks to Kirika and reasons better while she’s sleeping. (I'm starting to think they just pick someone's characteristic at random and call it a reasoning method.). The two were an item once, but nowadays Kasumi is more into someone else.
That someone else is Christmas Mizuno, a girly young man wearing all red except for the white shirt. People often call him Joya (“New Year’s Eve”) as he was born on 31st December. He’s the younger brother of the late meta-detective Pyramid Mizuno (who was ironically the one born on Christmas), and has a baby sister simply called JDC (born on the anniversary of the establishment of JDC). He was once Ajiro Souya’s friend in school, and sort of became a detective inspired by him. As of recently, Christmas became Ryuuguu Jounosuke’s assistant. His reasoning, sometimes called “anti-reasoning”, is kinda… searching for the truth via randomly wandering around or rambling to eventually stumble into the right thing. It doesn’t help that he has zero sense of direction. He’s trying his best, but can clearly see the barrier of talent between him and the big name detectives. Really wants a stuffed Catbus.
Ryuuguu Jounosuke hasn't changed much – still wears the same black clothes everyday, loves word plays, has autistic traits out the wazoo, is as aroace as they come (yay!), and is affectionately known as “JDC’s greatest weirdo”, or sometimes “the black-wearing Joker” because of his cheerful disposition. He’s horrible around machines and WILL break your laptop or phone if you let him as much as touch it, which is in a way really impressive. Ryuuguu lately feels exasperated because of one of JDC’s new detectives…
... Somedaring Amagoi [or Same Darling Amagoi? It's romanized differently on the cover and in the annex]. She's pretty much the teenage female version of Ryuuguu (that is, a walking pun hell), except she dresses like a shrine maiden. Her D-name is Amagoi Samidaare? (yes, with the question mark), but most people call her Ittai-chan because of how often she says “ittai” (“what the hell”). She considers Ryuuguu her teacher and constantly challenges him to riddle battles. Even Ryuuguu is a little done with it at this point.
On the day most of Carnival Eve is happening, Ryuuguu is giving a welcome to a new detective who has recently passed the hellishly difficult JDC entry exam. It’s Hoshino Tae, the very same person that survived the Geneijo case. Tae accepts a D-name that Ryuuguu created for her: Fuumonji Jouka, which honors the memory of Tae’s brother known under his pen name of Fuumonji Kousei.
Another future detective is Yuiga Dokuson. For now we’re just told that he was Hyouma’s school friend. Emphasis on “was”. Dokuson is a self-proclaimed narcissist (his reasoning method apparently relying on that) who claims to be thousands of years old, and rumour has it that he once drove a man to suicide simply by talking to him. If Tsukumo Juku’s beauty could be described as godly, Dokuson’s unusual good looks (fortunately not to the point of making others faint) feel like the demonic equivalent. Hyouma doesn’t have the highest opinion of the guy, and is pretty pissed off that Ajiro let the dude come anywhere near JDC.
As for other JDC detectives we haven’t met yet, there are two we need to mention:
Ushiwaka Gigolo (that’s her D-name, not real name) usually dresses in traditionally male clothing, and while she may seem brash and bold at first sight, she’s actually very amiable. Her reasoning abilities rise whenever she falls head over heels for someone, but as soon as the case at hand is solved the feelings for the partner fizzle out completely, which understandably leads to Problems. While she feels attraction to any gender, it seems she likes other ladies the most. It’s mentioned that a lot of female JDC employees certainly like her a lot. Think of that what you will. [...I don’t think I have to point out that having your bi/pan character be the one who’s defined by changing partners like socks is uhhhh not good.]
Kakuusan Kanke (this D-name being a pun on a relationship triangle) is a talkative woman with round glasses and okappa hair which gave her a nickname “Kappa”. Her reasoning ability soars whenever she’s jealous about something (a relationship, talent, fame…). Before JDC she worked as a DJ. She’s also an amateur hypnotist, weirdly enough. Kakuusan and Ushiwaka worked in a trio with another female detective, who unfortunately was murdered fairly recently.
While we’re looking at JDC, we should mention that Ajiro Souji’s usual secretary Hanto Maimu had to recently take maternity leave. (She already named her yet unborn kid Hanto Kuraimu. 'Crime Hunt'. That’s metal.) The new secretary is Mito Muramasa, a young office worker guy with low levels of self-confidence who’s fairly anxious all the time, described as evoking maternal instincts in everyone, and who basically isn’t sure how to adult properly and feels completely out of place. Relatable.
For reasons that will only come into play much, much later, we also have to mention one of JDC’s security guards called Nakamoto Hiroya, whose secret dream is to become a writer.

As for the God of Detectives Tsukumo Juku, he’s taken a paid leave -- which he never does, mind you -- to return to Shunkashuutou, the Tsukumo family’s residence in Shimane Prefecture. He invited two people along.
One is Tousen Yomiko, a private detective specializing in criminal psychology who was Juku's childhood friend and at one point in life his fiancée. Yomiko previously showed up in Cosmic helping others solve the Jackie the Ripper case. Just like Juku, Yomiko has the atmosphere of being an extremely loving and understanding person to the point that it kinda wraps around to feeling uncanny. Yomiko’s father Yomi was good friends with Juku’s father, and in fact was the one to built Shunkashuutou.
The other invited person is Inugami Yasha, now around 17-year-old private detective who helped JDC during Cosmic. Walking to Shunkashuutou, Yasha accidentally remembers that time he saw Juku’s eyes and faints (hfjsjkhf), and while he’s unconscious the black cat he brought along goes missing. The cat had been entrusted to Yasha by a randomly met dying man who introduced himself as Kanai Hidetaka, or Employee D who once worked in Geneijo. [Kanai Hidetaka is our world's Seiryoin's real name, btw.] The cat is called Kanaihidetaka ( Yasha says you’re not supposed to split that name, so I write it together). Apparently it’s connected to something called “the last case of humanity” that also has to do with a mysterious "Shinrui” (Yasha has no clue what it is, but thinks it should be written with the kanji meaning “God's tear”).
In a conversation with Yasha, Yomiko reveals that there’s something that even Juku still can’t solve -- he still can’t figure out the tricks to his father Saimon Ryuusui's “Miraculous Illusions”. The illusions in question were only ever shown once, and only to little Juku, before his father died during the Saimon Family Murder Case. The Miraculous Illusions were still unfinished at the time, but Juku thinks that if they were perfected, they could lead to some sort of an “ultimate trick”.
As for the missing cat, there’s a Shimane legend about people and animals being spirited away, so who knows if that didn’t happen to Kanaihidetaka too? But thankfully the cat is soon found by Juku, and everything's fine. (For now.)
THE ACTUAL PLOT (what little there is of it for now):
Hoshino Tae / Fuumonji Jouka brings to JDC a letter that Dakushoin Ryusui sent her a long time ago. It was sent on 26th October 1993… that is, during the Geneijo case. It contains another envelope and a curt note from Dakushoin asking the recipient not to open it until the date given (yesterday as of now). The envelope contains a short story consisting of 7 acts and called:
ANOTHER JOKER ---The Revised Detective Myth (But The Culprit Is The Same?)
[Note: Joker’s full title is Joker: Detective Myth As The Old Testament]
This short somewhat absurd story takes place in a building without an entrance or exit called Gensoukan (Phantom House? Phantom Mansion? Either way, it’s a clear riff off of Geneijo). Aside from the lead character – Ryuuguu Jounosuke – the story features only people who are already dead: Kirigirisu Tarou (apparently the owner of Gensoukan) with his wife Kano; Ajiro Souya; everyone else who died in Geneijo; as well as Kosugi the butler and his son, who both died during the Locked Room Lord case. (Incidentally, the kid’s name is now furigana’d as Katsutoshi and not Shouri like it was in Cosmic and Joker. This is never explained, but I’ll go with my Meta Instinct and assume this is an intentional change. None of the detectives reading the short story seems to notice the change. Oh, and the kid is reading a certain book called Joker. Meta intensifies.)
Another Joker’s Ryuuguu is quite confused about how he got into Gensoukan and why all the dead people he saw die in Geneijo are alive and acting like nothing happened, but he feels like he may as well go with the flow and solve the case. The victim is one Employee O, or Ousetsu Kan. The locked room he was in burned down. Witnesses heard the victim yell something like “dou, dou”. While everyone was running around and trying to break the door open, the victim must have tried to extinguish the fire by turning on water, but he was too late to save himself from burning down to a pile of bone fragments. (Ryuuguu realizes that a normal fire wouldn't be hot enough to leave only bones, but whatever, this is Gensoukan, it’s weird.) There seemed to be more bones left than just one man would have, though. The only other clue is a message carved into the floor that “the culprit is ZI”.
Murder aside, two animals held in Gensoukan's stable went missing: a man-eating horse called SIKA (“deer”) and a deer called UMA (“horse”).
Ryuuguu was apparently chosen to be in Gensoukan as Dakushoin's guest, whatever this means. Dakushoin helps the investigation by making a map of Gensoukan including everyone present's name and room location. This helps Ryuuguu eventually figure out the case and who 'the Joker' (the culprit) is. He gathers everyone in the recreation room to explain it, but the story ends just as he points and yells “You are the Joker!”
Attached to the story is a short bonanzagram (a riddle in which you substitute free spaces with letters) that prompts the reader of Another Joker to fill it in with the answers to the case.

The real Ryuuguu Jounosuke and Tae / Jouka solve the story's case incredibly quickly, but still have to help Christmas through his own stumbly reasoning.
The title having that But The Culprit Is The Same? part would seemingly point to whoever committed the Geneijo murders as the culprit of the story.
However, Christmas says that the person he suspects is not the culprit of Geneijo, but the Kosugi boy. [A statement which should give everyone who read Joker a long pause, but then again, Juku and Yaiba probably didn’t reveal the truth to anyone.] Ryuuguu and Jouka think the boy is just a red herring here.
Christmas’s next guess is the story’s rendition of Nijikawa Ryou. The map that Another Joker’s Dakushoin made has everyone’s pen name and real name. Everyone without a pen name has a note that “(Real Name Is The Same)”. However, Nijikawa Ryou has a slightly different note that “(Real Name = The Same)”, which can be read as him being called The Same, and since The Culprit Is The Same...
If a person was called 同じ, onaji (The Same), then the last name would be Ona and the first name would be Ji. Or maybe the last name would be Dou (same kanji, different reading) and the first name Ji. The syllable “ji” can be romanized as “zi”. And that’s why the victim yelled “Dou, Dou!” (the murderer’s last name!) and the dying message said that “the culprit is ZI”.
[I feel like this is a good time to remember Juku’s final observation in Joker about Dakushoin’s manuscript having a message that mina onaji, or “Everyone’s The Same”. I sense multiple meanings here.]
Since Story Nijikawa shared alibi with Story Miyama Kaoru (they were playing hanafuda in the recreation room), this means they were partners in crime, and maybe lovers. See, there’s apparently a proverb that “the one who interferes in love will die kicked by a horse”, so the two could symbolically use a horse as a murder weapon to deal with Ousetsu Kan, who threatened their relationship in some way.
Nijikawa planned to get the horse and the victim in the same room, scare the horse with fire and make it trample the victim. Things went awry and Nijikawa had to flee the now burning room. The victim locked the door in fear of Nijikawa returning and tried to extinguish the fire, but the unhinged horse ate him. The bones found at the scene belonged to the horse.
As for what happened to the deer, well, there’s this proverb that “the person who chases a deer does not see the mountain”. Yama, mountain, is also a term for a card deck. Like the hanafuda card deck Nijikawa and Miyama used. Hanafuda, which has a deer card in it. The deer called UMA was a card all along, and Nijikawa hid it inside a deck of cards in the recreation room.
[A somewhat absurd story, as I said.]

The filled-in bonanzagram looks something like this:
“KAN died. HANnin [culprit] ZI. UMA was brought into GORAKUshitsu [the recreation room]. DEKOI [the person used as a 'decoy' killer] was the KOSUGI boy.”
Ryuuguu and Jouka notice that there's a hidden message obtainable by making an anagram of all the filled-in letters. Poor Christmas Mizuno feels inadequate as he's not able to guess it as easily as these two did (and the reader will share his pain of being denied the knowledge of the message before the end of the book). Concerned about the message, Ryuuguu brings the story to Ajiro, who then arranges one-on-one meetings with each of the big name detectives to ask them what they personally think of it.
While this is happening, Ryuuguu thinks about a dream he had that night in which he talked to someone. He can’t actually remember anything else, but he has a vague feeling that the dream was important. What was it about...?

[This chapter is called “The real short story: Cosmic Zero”]
Ryuuguu is in some empty space in which he can only hear Dakushoin's voice. Dakushoin talks about vague and weird things, about space-time curved into a Moebius strip in which the cases are recurring again and again, and the dead are coming back to live and repeating their deaths without noticing.
Ryuuguu asks about Another Joker and the manuscript from the Locked Room Lord case. Just how much does Dakushoin know if he was able to hint at future events in them? Dakushoin answers that since Ryuuguu will forget this conversation even happened (because it shouldn’t be happening in the first place), there's no harm in telling him some things.
A plan to exterminate all humanity is under way. It started back in 1979 with the Saimon Family Murder Case, one of the Four Great Tragedies. The other three are the Geneijo case, the Locked Room Lord case, and the future Twin Disappeareance case of 1999. The Crime Olympics are not included in the Four Great Tragedies, as it's a worldwide event that doesn't concern just Japan, and it's really just a preparation for the last Tragedy.
The Twin Disappearance case will be the last one. Then, on the night of the last day of the current century – 31st December 2000 – Tsukumo Juku will be murdered, and the human race will perish soon after.
All of the culprits of those giant cases – Shiroyasha, the Artist, the Locked Room Lord, Kamikakushi of the Twin Disappearance case, as well as the Billion Killer of the Crime Olympics – are nothing more than decoys. They are all controlled by a mysterious Tsukumo Jaki (九十九邪鬼), who will be the one to kill Juku. Tsukumo Jaki is apparently someone Ryuuguu knows – why, it's one of his fellow detectives!
Ryuuguu is upset, but Dakushoin points out that since he'll forget this anyway, and all is destined, there's no reason to care a lot about it now. The two have a conversation about language and writing, and Dakushoin hints at there being a root language that all others came from, and that Ryuuguu should look into it.
Finally they bid each other goodbye. Dakushoin says that he himself can only return to 'the beginning' and tread the same path over and over again, but Ryuuguu can now continue walking forward in new time.

R : ROMANCE. IS HE A ROMANTIC OR A CYNIC ?
-- HC. he’s a bit of both, but he’s mostly a romantic ! even when all odds are stacked against him, or when he’s shown the worst sides of humanity-- he’ll still want to see the good & the potential in everyone he meets be brought to light ! to him, NOTHING in the world is worthless & everyone in the world holds a special place in the world; & if that’s not romantic i don’t know what is. he’s also the type who ( regardless of their age, gender, ethnicity or whatever other factor that might differentiate them ) will not look down on anyone. he’s very idealistic, dreaming up ideas that would be considered near impossible & doing everything he can to make them real. there’s also the fact that he views any woman, be them young or old, as beautiful & a lady worthy of being courted ( not that he will, but he can see their allure & charm & good points ) !
-- HE’S cynical in the view that people are HIGHLY motivated by self interest. after all, there’s nothing that motivates people more or pushes them forward than a little bit of greed & desire. he is often described as the personification of greed, & he’s not ashamed of it, for he thinks it’s an essential thing everyone needs a little bit of. but just because one is fuelled by self interest doesn’t mean they have bad intentions ( at least, not all the time ); so he’s cynical, yes. but no, he doesn’t believe the future is bleak or that people are hopeless when it comes that part in a cynical person.
Y : YOURS. DOES HE GET PROTECTIVE EASILY ?
-- NOT in the most traditional sense, no. will he blatantly go out & say that someone is his & that he wants them all for himself ? yes, he will. & he’ll absolutely take any moment he can to monopolise their time to he can be together with them & remind them how much he cares for them. but should he love someone, he’d want to see them achieve all their dreams or put them in the spotlight so they can rise higher-- & often times that means he’d have to be in the sidelines & simply watch over them when they go meet others or work hard towards their dream. during those time he’ll obviously try to do his best to support them or make sure the process is as smooth as possible ( but not too smooth that they don’t gain any experience from it ! ), but would otherwise simply opt to watch over them.
-- IT comes hand in hand with this, but he also doesn’t get jealous easily, for mostly the same reasons-- showing them off to the world means that others would have a chance at seeing them during their best moments, & it also means he’s going to have to be okay with that ( which he is ! ). even when his lover is with someone of the same gender as him or is ( platonically ) physically active with someone else, he won’t / will try not to be jealous-- since he trusts their love ( or care, depending on whether their relationship is romantic or platonic ) for him & would rather die than doubt it / second guess it !
U : UNREQUITED. HAS HIS HEART BEEN BROKEN ?
-- NOT really ! he himself hasn’t been heartbroken just yet, since he hasn’t really, actually fallen in love with someone enough to have it broken. he can get close to someone pretty quickly & tell them how beautiful / charming they are with ease, but he hasn’t genuinely fallen head over heels with anyone yet ! when he does, it’ll be obvious because he’ll do whatever he can to make them fall for him ( or if they obviously don’t want to date him, he’ll at the very least to make them as happy as he can while staying as a friend ! )
-- BUT he has broken a couple of hearts before. it’s a given, at this point. with his charming persona & straightforward personality & ambition ( & money, one can’t forget that ! ), he’s certainly has had girls & guys alike fawning over him. but unfortunately for them, he rejects them as smoothly as possible & either would later help them get together with someone they like, should they find someone else, or ask them to stay friends with him, if they still can. sometimes, people who think they’re in love with him try to get close, but when they see how close he is with francois or how focused he is into getting something, they think they have no chance and / or don’t think he cares much about them ( that said ! his relationship with francois is strictly platonic ! he does not love francois romantically, & most likely never will-- preferring to have them be a very close figure that stabilises & supports him ).
S : SWEETHEART. DID HE HAVE A CHILDHOOD SWEETHEART ?
-- HE does ! there used to be a girl he used to hang out with a lot when he was a kid, & eventually fell in love ( a puppy crush sort of love that kids always seem to fall into ! ). & him, being the popular guy that he was, even back then, also managed to make her fall for him. they were together for a couple years growing up ( not in the dating sort of sense, but like ! always together, always hanging out & stuff ! ), until they essentially grew up.
-- THEY parted in good terms, since growing up comes with lots of self realisation about who they want to be & what they want to do. & maybe it was because she knew that they’d never see eye to eye in certain things, or that he’d always be a thousand steps ahead of her fulfilling all sorts of ambitions, that they decided to part paths as the chose her own ! up until the petrification, he’d call her up from time to time in order to catch up with what she’d been up to ( along with all his other childhood friends, since he doesn’t forget anyone / lose contact with anyone ! or at least tries not to ), but hasn’t been able to now that they’re in the stone world. for obvious reasons.
I : I LOVE YOU. DOES SAYING ‘ I LOVE YOU ‘ COME EASY OR HARD ?
-- WHEN he means it it comes so easy ! as stated earlier, he doesn’t tend to genuinely fall in love with anyone all that easily, so he’s not the type to throw around words that he doesn’t mean. he’ll say it platonically to a friend in order to show them how much he cares for them or how much they mean to him, sure, but he won’t mean it any other way.
-- BUT when he loves ? oh, there’s nothing that can stop him from saying it over & over again ! he’ll say it out loud in a crowd, he’ll say it to aloud to himself, he’ll say it to them face to face-- anyone that can hear, he’ll say that he loves his s/o without feeling slightly ashamed of it. as long as he’s not obviously bothering them or making them uncomfortable, he’ll remind them every other second about just how much he cares because ! ! he wants the other’s feelings all to himself & he wants to share all his feelings with them.

Let’s start with how you two met
There was a preview to a new Dragon Quest that was exclusive to attendants at a gaming convention
So Sai definitely had to go!
Francois and even Ryusui helped him disguise himself so a whole mob of people wouldn’t bombard him
He stood in line super early like any good fan and was even one of the of the people in the front row
It just so happen that you were sitting right next to him
While he was waiting for the preview to start, he pulled his phone out and began playing Pokémon Go
“Which team are you on?”
Your voice startles Sai. He looks to his side and sees the most beautiful person he’s ever seen
You show him your screen. “I’m Valor.”
“M-mystic…”
“Dang! Guess that means we’re rivals!” You giggle softly
You mess with your hair, a little embarrassed. “My name’s (y/n).”
When you see his blushing red, nervous face it’s got to be the cutest thing in the world
“S-Sai..” he mumbles.
There’s an awkward silence between the two of you until the show starts, then the both of you get lively
When you both see your favorite characters and new ones you cheer and clap
What’s the trailer is done you get your stuff to leave
“D-do you w-wanna hunt Pokémon with me?”
And with that you both became close
To Sai’s huge relief you’ve never heard of the Nanami Conglomerate before
“We make boats? We’re one the richest families around?”
You just shake your head
Ryusui puts on this huge extravagant setup so Sai can ask you out, only for Sai to nearly faint from nerves
You accepted either way
Dating Sai can have its ups downs
If you’re a really outgoing person it’s really hard to get him to go out much.
“Come on Sai let’s go dancing!”
“O-oh…but I’m not that good, so I’ll just ruin your night… it’s alright go without me.”
BUT one thing Sai will quickly take back everything he said if he saw how disappointed you looked
As he said, he is not the best but he really does try
Even though he wants to leave earlier than you’d like, you still can’t deny that you had a good time
I really feel like Sai would like a person who is more indoorsy but not necessarily shy, just quiet (if that makes any sense at all)
His favorite thing to do with you of course is play video games, no matter what game it is
I also think he’d teach you how to build your own computer
You get so fascinated by Sai’s enthusiasm. He normally isn’t so talkative or excited but when he’s building computers it’s a while different story
Of course he’d try your hobbies as well
If you liked to read he’d try some of your favorite books or if you liked to draw he’d do his best to draw you something nice
None of the Nanami’s are cooks💀
But he’d try to learn for you!
He’d mainly learn the basics though, like eggs💀
Anything else he’ll gladly hand it over to Francois
Sai also doesn’t sleep
You’ll see him on his PC at like midnight
So you’ll squeeze in on his lap and fall asleep there
It’s honestly his favorite thing in the world
It also encourages him to go to bed because he doesn’t want you to be uncomfortable! So he’ll gently carry you to your shared bed, and as soon as he feels how soft the mattress is he’ll pass out with you
