She did indeed feel like a spooked animal, eyes trying to find an escape or passage away from him. However, the mention of Charlie's name made her stop. Her face twisted in angulished; there was nothing like motherly guilt. They deserved the truth.

It didn't matter the cost; she'd deal with it when it came. "I d-..." As her mouth widened, a golden ribbon appeared. It was wrapped nicely in a bow around her neck; however, the ends of it were carved into her along the seam of her lips in a zigzag pattern in a forced smile.

Only a single sound escaped before the string yanked tightly and instantly sealed those lips into silence. The immense pain seared mentally and physically; her body doubled over, and her hands snapped to her mouth and throat. Her eyes were wild with bewilderment at what just happened what just happened? Was it contagious?

She lurked away from him and tumbled to the ground, eyes flared at him to stay away. Her eyes snapped to her hand as it trembled away. There was no evidence of blood on them but- she tasted it; she felt it... "I..." She slowly tested the next few words out. " I m-missed you both...."

[Premise: Lucifer's at the hotel and welcomes in a recently arrived soul and potential new guest.]

In an attempt to help Charlie's vision and show his support for her dream, Lucifer rearranged it so those who recently died and were cast into Hell would appear...close by.

Redemption was...a hell of a concept. The sinners that landed in his domain were there for a reason after all. If they felt compelled to interact with the Hellish life of the streets outside, they could. But if they wondered into the hotel...then they were able to get there easier than before.

It's been literal ages since he himself welcomed a new arrival, but since he was currently staying at the hotel himself, looks like a new age was indeed in place. "Welcome to the Hazbin Hotel! Name's Lucifer. You may have heard of me, and now I'm your new king!"

Its walls and floors were draped in rich red colorations, and the King of Hell, himself stood in your view, pacing about.
