Poképlushies: Pt.2!
You really enjoy creating pokemon plushies so you decide to surprise your partner with them!
Characters: Grusha, Iono & Rika!
Grusha
You decided to make him a super soft Cetoddle!
When you initially give it to him, he’s in awe because it’s so soft!
He looks at it with the cutest smile ever, he’s so happy with it, and you’re not sure if it’s because of the cold but is he blushing??
He’s happy with it and you can tell. Not even his scarf can mask his smile it’s so obvious
The moment he takes it home with him he’s putting it in a safe place. Grusha really appreciates gifts from you and he’d hate to lose them.
That Cetoddle now sits on his bedside, nice and cozy!
Whenever you’re not together and he’s in his home he looks at the Cetoddle and thinks of you
He doesn’t really sleep with it, but he likes it close to him, and he likes holding it a lot.
It’s just so squishy and soft and that’s what he loves the most about it
It’s something that brings a smile to his face when he wakes up, and before he sleeps.
He won’t ever bring it outside with him because it’s far too precious a gift to him to possibly get lost or ruined but that Cetoddle is in safe and loving hands!
Iono
You and Iono are just chilling out when you gift her two magnemites!
They also match the colours of her hair, being pastel pink and blue!
She’s like: “woah, these are so cool! I love them loads, s/o!”
Love isn’t enough to describe how she feels about what you’ve given her
Ever since you gave her them, she puts them on her stream every chance she gets
She doesn’t do sit-down streams a lot, but when she does they’re always sitting in the background or they’re really close to the camera!
Speaking of which, she’s definitely bought them up in a conversation with her viewers before
If you don’t want fans to know that you’re in a relationship with Iono, she says they’re from a close friend and that she found them so adorable that they must be on camera as much as possible!
If Iono’s viewers do know however she just openly gushes about them with absolutely no restraint
“Oh these magnemites? My super talented and amazing s/o made them just for me! Aren’t they amazing? They’re so good at making Pokémon plushies!”
She’d definitely tell you that you should open a shop for them, if you did she’d be your #1 supporter, she’d even sponsor/collab with you if you ever decided to!
Rika
Big fat Clodsire.
Like you just pull up at Rika’s house like:
“Hey babe, I’ve got a delivery for you!”
And it’s a life sized clodsire
It’s so big that you’re struggling to get it through the door for her
She’ll laugh at you heaving to fit the damn thing through the door before helping out
Puts her hands on it immediately and it’s so soft and squishy, she’s in love with it
She’s a bit sad she can’t fit it in her room but it’s okay! It’s got a new home in her living room
It’s the perfect size for hugs, although Rika thinks she might get lost under all that fluff from how massive it is
She’s sprinting to the elite fours’ office the next morning just so she can tell them about it, she’s even got pictures of it! She loves the fact that you’ve made something with her in mind, she’ll be talking about gigantic-Clodsire for ages
Although she can’t bring it to them, she does let them see it for themselves in person at her home
Poppy loves it so much, Rika shows you photos of the two and you get to see a photo of her sleeping on the clodsire plushie it was the cutest thing ever
Rika loves the Clodsire, Poppy does too, Hassel finds it utterly adorable and Larry likes it, it’s safe to say you’ve done an amazing job!

Hassel
Before he goes to work today he kisses you on the cheek; you are just cleaning the kitchen when you see his box lunch on the counter that he forgot to take with him, the school is quite a ways away, but you'd be damned if you'd let beloved go hungry, and not eating the food you carefully cooked and prepared for him.
His eyes light up the moment he sees you, Hassel is always happy to see you. but he has to ask, why did you come visit him at work today? You tell him that he's forgotten something and his eyes widen when you said his lunch on his desk.
Your poor husband is on the verge of tears because he's so lucky to have someone like you. You're so caring and thoughtful, part of him wants you to stay with him for lunch, but he knows that you might be busy with something else.
He says he missed you even though he's only been gone for a few hours, when he gives you a hug and a kiss. he asks if you need a ride home. but it was his students that got you to stay, asking you if they could draw your Pokemon partner; when the students begged Clavell, he relented. Hassel almost cried. He needed to thank his students later.
Rika
Work was really killing her today spinning on her chair with her pencil under her nose trying to ignore the grumbling in her stomach. She looked as happy as a puppy when she saw you. she asks What brings you here?
She is absolutely relieved when she sees you put the lunch down on her desk. " you're a life saver!" she explains, kissing you on the cheek. You chuckle, kissing her forehead when you turn to leave; she grabs your arm. Giving you puppy dog eyes as she begs you to stay. How could you ever say no?
Rika tries to feed you her own lunch "babe, say 'ah' !" when you protest, she pouts, " but you made it for me. You deserve to have a little taste.... unless you want my lips instead?" putting the piece of food down and wrapping her arms around your waist puckering her lips.
Geeta I had to send you home because you were distracting. Geeta was very kind thinking you for your kindness and asking if you would like a ride home. Rika's heartbroken.
Larry
He usually works right through his lunch breaks, it was you who started providing him lunch that he quit the habit. now your food is something he looks forward to everyday. is already too late when he realized he'd forgotten the lunch you made for him he was already at his office... Oh well he'll just stop by at the Eatery after work...
He was so focused on work he didn't notice you come behind him. You decided to let him work and slowly set it down next to him. by the time he notices you are already gone, but you left a cute note telling him to have a good lunch and you love him.
Larry couldn't help but smile, his heart fluttering in his chest... how he's so lucky to have somebody, he does not mess the days that he would eat alone or work without empty stomach.
After finishing, he calls you, informing you that he saw the note and thanks you again. Then asks if you want to go to the Treasure Eatery for a bit of a date after work as a thank you. You ask him why, and he says, " No particular reason, just felt appreciative of you; I want to treat you." You couldn't hide the smile in your voice. The Treasure Eatery workers absolutely adore you for caring for their tired businessman.

It seems that MTV Cribs is still an ongoing thing. So picture it: special wedding episode. The venue is the mansion itself. Local man and the harem of brides and husbands.
The camera crew passes by one of the rooms. There's a faint hint of farm hay mixed in the strong Charlotte Tilbury's Flawless setting spray scent. They peek in, cameras pointed and set to record. A hoarse screech echoes across the grand halls. The MUA is kicked in the side by glossy, polished hooves (an outside camera later zooms in on her body, strapped onto a stretcher as the medical team rushes towards the ambulance).
"Is that a horse in a wedding dress", one of the crew blurts out, wriggling away from the scene in a panic.
"Rampallions!" I shout, noticing the commotion. My frown can be discerned from the blurry lens, now collapsed on the floor. "Away from my bride at once!"
Next cutscene is me closing the door, mouthing one final "wretch of the century" towards the infracteurs. Quiet sobs can be heard from the now sealed room.
"What's the point? They've all seen me in the dress. It was supposed to be a reveal" the unicorn confesses, heartbroken.
"The girls will get you an even better one", I reassure the mythical creature. "Don't even look at the cost." I say, patting the fat leather wallet in my back pocket, stuffed to the brim with imaginary Tumblr coins.
The final cutscene is one of the harem members in one of those interview barracks.
"I mean, like, rude? They might as well just waltz over to the surprise barn and record that too. Ugh."
A moment of pondering.
"Wait, this will be released after the wedding, right? I didn't just-"

I know Graves isn't your fav, but i'd love if you'd do some fluff of him... i've been looking around to ask, and i honestly love the way you do fluff. It's like a mix between hot and cute (freaking amazing)
I do not like this man but for you? I would do anything <3
So Graves for sure is actually kind of a gentleman when it comes to dating. Just because he isn't a great guy in ALL aspects of life does not mean he is a bad lover or bad partner. I actually see him being a really good boyfriend.
I can see the way he scoops you up and lifts you a little off the ground when he gets home from missions or deployment. His arms wrapped around you so tightly that you kind of think he might break you. He never does. He would inhale your scent, of your shampoo and your perfume. That is so unique to you that he finally feels home.
I can see the first couple of nights that he is home you two cannot keep your fucking hands off each other. He would probably be choking you and slamming into you whispering to you how much he misses your tight cunt when hes away.
Even though I don't think he's a pussy muncher (he doesnt give me the vibes im sorry) that doesn't mean he doesn't want you to cum and he would rub circles into your folds and would use a vibe on you as he fucks you to get you there.
He would want to shower with you every single time you need to shower. He loves being close to you. Being in that space and watching you just do things. Committing each curve and mark to memory so he could remember it for nights he misses you next.
The man will bring you coffee. Every. fucking. Morning. He wants you to not have the same hassel and weight on your shoulders when he's home. So he would pick things up to the point where you basically have nothing to do.
He takes you shopping when he feels really bad. If he was gone for longer than two weeks expect to be taken to your favorite shopping center.
I don't know why this detail comes to my mind but he will make it a point to do the sidewalk thing. If you even try to walk on traffic side he will practically yeet you to the other side. HOW DARE YOU not allow him to get hit by a car first??? Bitch.

Normal/Flying/Enigma - or 'Larry is a goddamn Christmas present, and here's what I found when I unwrapped him'
... Fucking Larry, huh? Mad guy. Absolutely unhinged set of pixels. He's got as many interpretations as days in the year - autism, depression, the working man stereotype, 'just a dude', to name a few - but... and I know this is a bold claim, but I think I've got him figured out. I've already meta'd him before on a smaller scale, and concluded that Mister Quiet, Calm and Collected here is actually a secret showman who loves crowd approval, so let's carry on.
Let's work our way under his skin, yeah? You just sit there and eat onigiri king, take a well-deserved break.
Let's start with the obvious: Larry has no clue who he is. He gives you the Facade TM, tells you he hopes you have no need to put on the same front as him, and then during his rematch says this on why he loves Normal types:
... Which is all well and good, right? Fair, valid, pretty regular guy - except oh no wait, hang on, he is literally the least ordinary trainer in this franchise.
This right here is a perfect example of the duality of Larry already, and we've just started. He's a showman, an exhibitionist in the Pokemon arena, and he duel-serves as Elite Four and gym leader.
Just to put that into context for those fans who are newer than my veteran ass, no one does that. Even those who got promoted later - Lance, Koga and Wallace, unless I'm forgetting anyone else - have never wielded two titles simultaneously. And even in their promotions, Lance, Koga and Wallace keep their damn types. They don't master a whole new one, at the highest of battling levels, on a goddamn whim because their boss said to. Whether he likes it or not, by the established standards of this series, Larry is a fucking genius. Even those with mixed teams don't hold type mastery to this degree. Whether or not you personally found him easy or difficult to defeat either time is not the point - literally, no one's doing it like he is. He trains four entire new team members, between his three jobs (because oh yeah, he's got another one), to the late fifties/early sixties in levels and acts like it ain't shit. That's endgame levels to anyone else, the culmination of their eighteen-badge journey or their literal years of training - for Larry, it's fucking LEISURE TIME. Man's doing this in front of Netflix.
... And we're supposed to believe he's NORMAL? And the thing is, I don't even think he's gaslighting us, at least not consciously - he genuinely believes this. This is his normal.
No wonder Geeta sticks him in the gym right next to Area Zero. 90% sure he could solo the place if you gave him a few hours to go and catch the right team. Don't even know what we're doing here, to be quite honest. Might as well go home and hug the Skwovet in my own lounge, the adorable little bastard. What the honest fuck.
My man, take a look in that mirror as you munch those delicious rice balls. There ain't a single thing regular about you. Larry seems to have no clue that his life is anything but standard - he walks around wearing a facade. His penultimate mon, which I've covered the significance of before with Flapple and Hassel (and with Larry himself here), is Staraptor, a lone wolf, who leaves the flock upon evolving to live alone, and yet his ace Flamigo only functions well in a group. Just a quick compare-and-contrast between the dex entries of them both here:
... Excuse me whilst I error 404. He's got so little clue who he is, even his team has personality conflicts.
Thing is, right... if he walks around wearing a facade, why does he? In fact, whilst we're on the subject of his team, why doesn't he take his clearly vacation-themed team ON A VACATION?
Look at these guys.
Palm trees, tropical birds, blue skies with clouds, and... well, Staraptor's clearly his favourite. Man's got a holiday-themed squad, which leads us to another core point:
Larry doesn't drown himself in work because he likes it, he does it because he doesn't have anything else.
Logically, Larry must make bank. We don't know what the gym leaders get paid - though for the first time, we know that they definitely do, thanks to this:

And not only does he get paid from this, but he's in the Elite Four - every sensible conclusion says that this man has to be one of the highest-paid trainers in Paldea. And he's got a third job that we don't even know about. Bearing in mind that every other adult NPC in this game seems to get along just fine with one or two jobs, I don't think we need to remotely worry about Larry's finances.
And he doesn't particularly like any of his jobs, so he doesn't do them for love... and if he doesn't take any time off, he must be drowning in potential time to take off...
So, why doesn't he go on holiday? Why does he drown himself in work he dislikes when he has no financial need to; why does he live a lie; why doesn't he find out who he is?
Well, there's only one thing that really connects all that together, isn't there?
Larry's life is a void because he's alone.
When people are lost, they throw themselves into work to find purpose. What's the point of going on holiday when you've got no one to go with? This man does embody a stereotype perfectly, but it's probably not the one you think. It's much simpler - 'money can't buy you happiness.'
He tells you about this loneliness himself, in a way.
Larry has normal and regular interests, in a world where he is anything but, and people only want to be surprised. No one gets him, whether because they're not on his battling level, or because he's too ordinary. And when no one gets you... how are you supposed to get yourself? However introverted we are, we experience ourselves partly through others. He has the Elite Four, who are 100% a found family, but... the problem with that is that they accept him at face value because they love him. Which is amazing and all, we adore that, but it means no one gets under his skin.
And the further problem of that is that he's no happier deep-down. And that's not on his colleagues, not at all. Rika is relaxed and easygoing, Poppy is a child, and Hassel... well, Hassel is drama, Hassel is married. Hassel has his own perfect love story already. Hassel has already seen someone a little bit like Larry before - directionless, depressed, unsure of his own self - and he went and promised him forever anyway. (Hello Brassius, I see you king. Be careful on that windmill.)
... And that... yeah, that's kind of the crux of it all. Larry needs him someone very much like Hassel; someone who sees through every layer of facade, someone who accepts. (... I realise this is me right now, and yes, I do volunteer as tribute. Come here, you beautiful fucking not-normal man. <3)
Essentially, what I'm saying is...
Larry needs a partner... and I don't mean another Pokemon one.
But, as sad a conclusion as that is... he's learning, by the end of your time with him.
(Can we talk about the chef lady in the background, by the way, who is ignoring her TikTok to listen to his conclusion? What a sweetheart.)
We've taught him to open himself up a bit, to start embracing the new and the different. We've started to help this man, and if that isn't the most worthy thing my Nuzlocke son Juan here has done in his adventure through Paldea that wasn't helping a sick dog, I don't know what is.
As much as they annoy us sometimes, happiness is other people. Other people who see your soul, and smile. Perhaps he doesn't even need a romantic partner... perhaps he just needs the world's best friend.
But whatever it is that he needs... let him go on holiday, Game Freak. Let him be him, and very happy because of it. Give him a Hassel who isn't Hassel, and a month off at a certain DLC festival to spend with them. Larry exists in a club of one - he's too talented in the same breath as he's too average.
(Personally, I think he should take Katy, but... hey, that's me and my vanillacupcakes agenda. And the fact her ace is a Normal type who likes dessert.)

Medea Played Pokemon Scarlet & Violet, The DLC’s (Part III)
Just because the main story is over, doesn't mean you have to stop playing the game.
Once you get back from your adventure in Area Zero, Briar has quickly written a book about the ordeal.
An apology for doing absolutely fuck-all when Terapagos was kicking all of our asses and for not controlling Kieran. Fuck no and fuck you.
Actually, you don't have to keep it for long. In Kitakami, go to the Crystal Pond, have Terapagos, and watch as things make no sense.
That's right. A mist comes through and you meet with the professor. You have an in-depth chat about things and in the end, you exchange Briar's book for the Scarlet Book. Everything comes back around full-circle. Back at the school...
Go to Amarys and she'll feed Koraidon/Miraidon a supplement that'll make him fly now.
No, she still doesn't call them by their actual name.
Outside the school, you can meet Mr. Snacksworth. A man who has apparently met nearly every legendary (except Dialga and Palkia) and has crafted snacks for each one.
Once you capture 200 pokemon for your Blueberry pokedex, go to Perrin for a special quest in Area Zero. However, after you complete the request Perrin only gives you a Park ball. You know, the balls you use at the National Park in Johto.
In the clubroom, you can spend those BP's on the item printer, throwing styles, or changing the music.
Cute choices and all, but might I suggest some better songs?

*Route 27
*Route 44
*The three lakes in Sinnoh
*Lavender Town
Just to name a few.
And of course, you can invite coaches to the club room. Invite two certain coaches at the same time and they might strike up a conversation and you might learn something. Here are some of the things I learned.
*Katy was the one who gave Kofu the Venonat wallet
*Grusha was a fan of Iono's back when she first started streaming
*Nemona knows Lacey from a party a few years prior and gave us confirmation by saying her father Clay's name
*Poppy is nine-years old
*Hassel knows Drayton and his granddad
*Clavell thinks Mr. Jacq-strap is a total slob
*Drayton is a total dick to Kieran long-after the incident
*A lot of the gym leaders are a bit resentful towards Geeta
Let's not forget the gifts and trades! After you battle the coaches, you get a gift. The first time, you might get cool stuff like phone cases, Drayden's black tracksuit, and...
Clive's wig? I look so dead inside.
Invite everyone on the list at least 3 times and trade with all of them will allow you to invite the mystery person named Saffron. That person of course is Cyrano, the director of Blueberry Academy. Defeat him in battle and he'll trade you his Shiny Blitzle.
Let's return to Uva academy and help Team Star.
I got major whiplash seeing Eri here.
Giacomo and Eri ask you for help in tutoring the other Team Star members and hide it from Penny too. It didn't go as planned, but there was a happy conclusion. Plus, you get some new outfits in the process.
This leads to Atticus being grateful for the help that he makes his own garment knock-offs to be bidded on.
Many of these items you might recognize from past games like shoes from Aether, helmets from ORAS, and another reminder of Ball Guy's existence from Sword/Shield. Getting all the items are very costly with most auctions costing as much as 365,000 wing-wangs.
And now, let's get to the Mochi Mayhem.
First of all, you must get this mythical pecha berry from the mystery gift. Once you get it, go to Peachy's store in Kitakami. You notice a certain pink object move and then Arven calls asking to stop by your home. Next thing you know, the object is gone.
Back home, Nemona and Penny joined Arven. There, you also get a letter from Kieran asking for you and your friends to come to Kitakami. He's using snail-mail due to not having a smart-Rotom phone. Before we leave, we learn something about Penny.
Her father used the word "Adven-tour". So it's a good chance that her father is Peony. Which means her sister is Peonia. Which means her uncle is Chairman Rose. I have so many questions and this is the only time we hear about Penny's papa. Once we're in Kitakami, we're greeted with a familiar face.
Kieran is a meek cinnamon roll again. I guess the answer all along was to have him battle with Nemona. Nemona beat the pants off this boy but also had him enjoy himself.
Unfortunately, there is something wonky going on in Kitakami. Carmine has been acting weird. And...um, how do I go about this?
She flaps like a chicken and says the word "Mochi" over and over.
With Carmine acting strangely, there's only one thing to do.
I am...just wow.
After this idiocy, we step outside and it turns into a cliche horror film trope.
Everyone in the town is slowly turning into these flapping, mochi-munchers.
Even Kieran's grandparents get hit with this mochi-demic.
Also, not helping in my suspicions on these two being Jessie and James. I know that's not their names, but Gramps battles you with Arbok and Weezing.
Back at Peachy's, we find the mystery pokemon causing this trouble. But it winds up shooting mochi at us.
Penny and Arven eat up. I avoided it. And Kieran got conked on the head with it. And before you can say, "Mochi, Mochi"...
They were under the mochi spell.
Before you know it, the entire place is surrounded by moch-ombies.
It's just that Nemona is too hard to possess fully.
Once you beat Nemona, you have to fight Peacharunt and catch it.
And those are the DLC's.
The Teal Mask was just okay. I think the only thing I really liked was just Ogerpon and the ability to catch some of my favorite pokemon.
The Indigo Disk, I was actually surprised by. The fact that you couldn't play that one until you've finished Teal Mask and the main game in total meant some major stuff was going to go down. Plus, the battles are a lot harder than normal.
Mochi Mayhem was cute. It reminded me of some of those events for legendaries like the ones in R/S/E or the Victini one in B/W. I'm glad that we got an event pokemon through mystery gift. Something I wish we could have had with Zarude back in gen 8 instead of that bullshit joining a newsletter or something stupid.
So...I suppose this is the end of Scarlet and Violet. Unless we get more mystery gift surprises, this is probably it. I am a little upset that there isn't a battle tower like in previous games. And more important, Pokemon Horizons is going to go off and do it's own thing, not attaching it to the game whatsoever. We'll see what happens at the end of February as Pokemon Day always arrives with huge news in the games department.
And that was Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

...i wound up signin' up for an outreach program at uva because i wanted to try and do a lil better for myself! it's um. everything back home is good, actually, but...i finally decided to look into uva now that it's changed hands, and i got to talk with the director a bit when i signed up? and talked about my time at uva before, and he seemed real sad? i don't know, but...it was nice to have someone to listen, and i decided to go for it! i wanna make more money to support myself and lulu, and bouton and bluebell...

and um! yeah! i think that sums everything up?? so i'm sorry for not bein' around too too much, and for all the radio silence!!! i've only really been textin' a few friends between my shifts at home, my shifts here in mesagoza's pokemart, and school, and it's all been so much! but!! i'm getting prepared for a special trip we're taking in the next month, actually, and i hope i'll be able to take you all along for the ride! it's a place called kitakami, if anyone knows about it!! i've heard it's an amazin' place, so here's hoping i can get lots of pictures for you all!

Im curious how is the writing process going for you with so many requests. I hope it’s not too much. Please remember that we will all be very understanding and won’t hold a grudge if you decide you need to take a break or slow down. As to my questions (that are in no way meant to be rushing you, I’m just interested in your experiences with the event so far). Have you started? Any fics you’re especially excited to write or ones you’re stressed about? And if you started how are the fics so far, are they nice to write or do you wish you got different characters for different tropes?
oh gosh, i could say so much about the writing process of this event--
i have already started and finished half of the oneshots already! 1 - 15 are done (excluding 10), plus a couple later ones that i did in random order!
i set myself the (probably unrealistic) goal to finish everything before april ends. and it's kinda making me burned out, but also... i just know i'll feel even worse if i don't write, so i'll just write and then edit it later :')
i have some fics i had ideas for from the start (like the prompt 'trapped together' or 'assassin x target') so those are relatively easy to write!
other tropes are harder because i just put them on the list without thinking? 'match making' or 'promise' were such tropes. match making specifically has the added pressure of releasing on my birthday so i wanna put out an awesome oneshot on that day, but can't fully think of something yet :')
and then there are oneshots that would be so much better as headcanons. 'body swap' & 'boss x assistant' would work very well as headcanons and get the point across easier, but i think they still turned out okay!
my favorite fic so far was 'time loop' with shinjiro. that was the first one i wrote when i was super motivated & it's also the longest oneshot i wrote so far. i have a couple more that i like, but i think i'll keep it short haha
there are some tropes where certain characters would've probably worked better than the ones i got, but none where it's too hard to make it work. i think only 'revenge' with kiyotaka from DR & 'royalty' for ryuku from MHA are a bit hard. kiyotaka is too nice for revenge, so the reader has to be the asshole here. and ryuku isn't a character that is royalty in any form, but again, i can make the reader royalty here. so no trope & character combo is too much of a hassel :)
also, i started writing some headcanons at the side, so i won't fully get burned out from just writing oneshots. i def learned that for future events, i'll have to do something shorter than a month or give myself more time. but i think 1-2 week long events might be something i'll try next! probably with themes like 'yandere week' or 'jealousy week' or something like that!

If I remember right scarnoa's main outfit is miriam's hand me downs right? Since she's basically adopted by the entire school staff are any of the other teachers contributing to her wardrobe?
The first set she gets are hand-me-downs, since Scarnoa's on the petite side, but Mimi eventually just buys her actual clothes - like new stuff that fits her super well. And the old stuff just becomes casual lounge wear of sort, since it's very comfy.

Keeps Scarnoa's legs nice and toasty without having to really change much of her uniform wear. good for the Autumn uniform. Except she rarely wears the damn school uniform so oop.
Saguaro got her the thigh highs after she asked for some, because the sock catalog DIDNT have them and she WANTED them. Because tights are nice, but she doesn't WANT tights.
But also, Mimi's being doing so much for her, that she didn't want to bother her. and Saguaro also likes cute stuff too, so she's all "do you know where I can get some cute socks? The one that go up to the thigh?"
She's got a few more colors and patterns besides solid black, but yeah, that's something. Living the dream I wish I could have in this game sob sob.
Salvatore gives her hair accessories that his wife has been picking out, because she's been hearing a lot about the child that the school has collectively adopted.
And Jacq gave her a cute phone cases (and more) for her efforts but also as an apology for setting her off with his terrible lab habits. Please go easy on him, he literally just got hired alongside Clavell after they left their previous positions as researchers, where Jacq was Clavell's assistant (fun fact: this is probably why I see a lot of Jacq/Clavell art on pixiv, so...good for them - especially Clavell, get it old man. You somehow managed to land one of the handful of Pokemon characters that made the 2022 Yumejoshi popularity poll, in which Arven was #5 and Rika was #1, beating both Getou and Gojo - Volo was #38 and Steven, despite all these years, was #77...ftr, Jacq was #85)

So I started to do a WHOOOOLLLEEEE lot more work for me on redesigning the 2012 turtles, at this rate it might just be considered a whole AU ig.
LEO was the first one I started re-re-re-re-multiple re's-redesign and I decided each turtle will be a certain species. For Leo I decided he was going to be a Diamondback Terrapin, if by chance you don't know those turtles are white as paper so yes he is the lightest skined tone of the rest. I still need to figure out the color palette and if it's anything of a struggle like April's, I'm going to have a blast lmao.
Next up is Raph, he was based off the Barbour Map Turtle. I wanted his design to be a lot more buff, but I still wanted to try and portray his shortness of 2012 Raph, these sketches don't really show that. Reason being as to why I want him to be short is because I think that both Leo and him would be twins, despite the major difference in species they were pretty much born at similar times (Leo is considered the oldest twin lol)
Onto Donnie I based him of the Scorpion Mud turtle. It's a simple turtle pretty much, a lot of browns and such. My redesign of Donnie is definitely doesn't really match OG 2012 Donnie's facial design as he does have a different mask than him. Other than that, body structure is pretty much similar although he will be more evidently taller than the rest of his sibilings
So far my favorite design is Mikey he is based off the Spotted Turtle. As the name suggests, that turtle species has a lot of spots, and therefore I tried to incorporate a lot of spots in a way that if it were to be 2D animated, it wouldn't be a pain on the animators. His front shell did change on the full body sketch because I felt like the previous one would be a fucking hassel to deal with if he would be drawn often. You will also notice some other small changes from the previous one but other than that it's pretty much the same.
I do wish I had the tools to try and create these in a 3D format as 2012 is in 3D, maybe then I can get a better idea on how these guys will look in a 3D space. I do hope you like my redesigns, I felt like Leo was my biggest challenge when it came to redesigning, idk why he was hard to do but I eventually figured him out a bit.
Next update on these guys would be some color pallete references. While I work on those, do give some criticism on my sketches and I might incorporate them in the digital versions.
