Drayton
You and Drayton are an incredibly odd pair.
He’s the biggest slacker in the BB Academy. That’s something you can be sure of, he’s been held back thrice 😭
And then there’s you, top of the class, and super strict in the methods that you get stuff done, how it’s done, and being an incredible model student over all!
Even if Drayton is your boyfriend you’re going to have to do everything to get this dude to work on anything.
A lot of the dates you two have are study dates, because someone is behind on their work!!!
If you want to keep your notes prim and proper please please please keep an eye on Drayton.
He’s going to doodle everywhere he can without drawing your attention, it’s like a game made to annoy you.
He’s like a dog on a leash, and you’re going to object pretty much all the things this guy wants to do if you want to keep your sanity intact.
“Babe can we please just take a break and cuddle? I wanna stop working for a second.”
“Drayton no, this assignment was due a week ago. Come on, write a bit more please!”
You two cuddle anyways. It was bound to happen.
This guy can’t get away with anything on your radar. He can’t even ask you to join him on his pranks, you’re like Lacey 2.0 with how strict you are with him :((
All he wants to do is just chill with you 24/7, can’t a guy just do that??
If you let your guard down just a little bit, you’ll find your notes from battle studies discarded to the side, and Drayton’s arms wrapped firmly around you.
You might as well leave his work alone, since that’s not getting done anytime soon. Let him feed you a fresh box of pocky while you focus on your notes.

He’s absolutely chill with pda, he doesn’t care. You on the other hand prefer not to engage in it around school because it’s not the time or the place, and it’s unprofessional.
Drayton is a little shit though and will talk your ears off until you let him link pinkies with you. He respects your boundaries, so he won’t do anything that you don’t want to do on school grounds, but let him link pinkies with you pretty pls
Your conversations are either normal chitchat, or surprisingly deep.
The two of you talk about what you want to do in life quite a bit, though with Drayton, he talks about living in the moment more and having fun with what you have now.
He’s actually quite a good listener, he’ll listen to you while you talk about your plans, since you’re quite straightforward and set about what you want to do.
And Drayton really likes that in you. He adores the fact that you know what you wanna do when you’re out of BB Academy.
I think that in a way, you’re his motivation. He gets a little more work done than usual, he wants to leave the school by your side.
You also can’t help but bend your rules for him, despite how firm you are with them normally.
…just a little more work.
Ortega
Ortega gives you a headache. You love the guy to death, but he gives you a massive headache a lot of the time.
Why? He’s never at school. Ever. Hasn’t been for a year, but you still don’t give up, asking him to attend regularly.
You do know he’s safe, but you find it sorta lonely during school hours, although you do have other friends you miss your sassy little boyfriend :,(
You do meet up a lot after school though. When he’s not hanging out with team star, over his base or attending his piano lessons, he spends time with you.
And I think being a model student would mean that you’d do a lot of extracurricular activities, and one of them would be piano!
Ortega would enjoy practicing piano with you in his free time. It’s one of his favourite things to do with you!
You’re able to keep up with him and not trip up with mistakes, which he’s impressed at. How are you so effortlessly good with it?
Ortega teases you about how much of a ‘good student’ you are, and asks you to skip with him!
(He knows the answer is no.)
Despite the teasing though, the moment he comes back to school he’s with you much more often.
He finds school easier to attend because he’s able to feel more settled in quickly (although the teachers themselves do a really good job at that!) and well… it’s you!
Because he’s skipped out on school so much, he’s got to catch up so he isn’t behind. Who’s his #1 tutor? You!
Although he does study sessions with team star quite a lot, you’re his first option. He wants to use it to make up for the time lost from him not being at school with you
You’re so well-versed in the topics you revise with him that he finds it easy, to his surprise! He likes sitting in your room too, and finds it relaxing.
(Your voice soothes him too, just don’t let him doze off while it happens! He looks adorable though, do you really want to wake him up from a nap?)
Study dates become a frequent as you help him not get held back a year😋😋
He can just show up at your room whenever and you’ll let him in, it’s always better
“…so, battle studies next! What type has the most resistances?”
“Steel, obviously.”
It pays off, because when he comes back with his test results, he scores pretty high!
He’s so delighted by it, he’s very thankful and smiley for the rest of the week! He’s literally that one flowery animal crossing emote, you can feel the happiness radiating off of him.
He’s so glad you’re so supportive of him, it just makes him more confident that he can pass every test with flying colours when you’re by his side >o<

Valentine’s Day Hcs!
Headcannons of how you celebrate and spend Valentine’s Day with your partner!
Characters: N, Shauna, Hop, Kieran, Carmine!
Note: Happy Valentines to those who celebrate it! I made some head cannons with my favourite characters, but I won’t be taking requests for Shauna or N yet!
N - Ferris wheel ride
For Valentines, be prepared to be out and about for most of the day!
He’s been practically everywhere in Unova. He’s not going to go to places with plenty of people there, oh no.
He’s going to take you places you’ve never seen before, places so remote that you can be sure that they’re only known to the two of you.
This man is so thoughtful too, he’s only going to take you to places that he knows for sure that you’ll like.
I can imagine him taking you to a really pretty flower field to take a look at all the Lilligant and Whimsicott frolicking through!
He would also try and make you a flower crown but he hasn’t made one in years.
(He fails horribly, silly goof.)
By sunset, the two of you get to Nimbasa city, and although it’s crowded, he leads you to the Rondez-View ferris wheel together.
On the ferris wheel, he’d sit really close to you as well, he’s a sucker for physical contact and touch.
After that he’d hold your hand and talk about how he loves spending time with you, and how he loved today.
He’s good with words too, he’ll say it in the most poetic way possible, but it doesn’t sound cheesy, though you wouldn’t care if it was.
And at the very top of the ferris wheel, with the sunset on full view, he gives you a quick, sweet kiss on the lips! How romantic!
It’s a perfect end to a perfect Valentine’s Day!
Shauna - Fireworks
Shauna’s so excited for Valentines, she’s about to bust your door down the moment she gets to your house,, don’t worry, she’s just really excited to go on a date with you today!
The two of you go all over Lumiose city together! You both decide the places that you want to go together, you don’t really have anything planned.
Valentines with her seems like a bit more of an outing than a date, but that doesn’t make it less enjoyable or romantic in any way.
Shauna is a very outgoing and bubbly girl, and the sort of energy she carries around her is able to make any experience with her 10 times better!
You start by going to a cafe together and eating Poképuffs together. Even better, they’ve been doing Valentine’s themed foods there and she gushes over how adorable they are!
After that, you pretty much walk through the entire city together. There’s so much to do!
A lot of shopping is done. It’s a case of her finding something cute on a shop window and her dragging you in. It’s super fun to see the different things in store, Lumiose has so much to offer!
You take walks down the avenues and boulevards, as well as the plazas!
Although it doesn’t sound like a lot, these activities took up most of the day. Lumiose is a ginormous place…
But there’s one more place that she’s adamant to take you to!
It took a little while, but she takes you to a place called the Parfum Palace! It’s a public museum, and she’s got a surprise for you there!
She takes you to a balcony, where you and her stand together.
She can barely hold in her excitement, and she’s elated when fireworks start shooting off! She’s bouncing off the walls, and you can tell how happy she is when you feel how tight her hand is gripping yours!
The fireworks are gorgeous, no wonder she was so determined to bring you here. It was worth it, seeing all the beautiful Valentines themed patterns, and the colours to go with them!
Shauna does her best for valentines, and although it may be quite an exhilarating event, it’s a romantic event that the both of you won’t ever forget!
Hop- Gorgeous sightseeing
Happy Valentines! I hope you like travelling and sightseeing, because Hop is taking you to the best Galar has to offer!
Sure, the weather in Galar is wonky with it being rainy one day, stormy the other- and a lot of it is filled with ruins- so what could you find romantic about that?
Hop has been all through this wretched region, he knows the best places to take you for a day as special as today. As long as you’re up to it (you are) he’ll be taking you to the prettiest places there!
Although he’s put an incredible amount of thought in for the places to go, he can’t help but feel normal as the two of you converse on the train
He starts with Glimwood tangle. Although it’s mysterious, it’s quite a serene place, with not much to be heard apart from the occasional rustling that comes from Impidimp scouring through.
He takes this chance to hold your hand as you stroll through and head to Ballonlea (smart move, hop)!The town itself may not be too romantic, but it’s a pretty sight, right?
He also takes you to Wyndon. It’s a wonderful sight, even though it’s crowded.
You go for a stroll up the gardens, and the two of you look back on your moments together, even way back from when you were just friends.
(If you paid close attention to his voice, you could hear it trembling slightly…)
He’s got one more place to show you after you finish a lap around Wyndon, and he hopes he can make it work!
It takes a while to get there, having to go from Wyndon all the way to Postwick was time consuming, but you have each other!
On the train ride there, you end up leaning onto Hop’s shoulder, and he gets so flustered!
The two of you have been dating for a while, but he still never fails to grow warm under your touch. He ends up leaning onto you too.
The two of you head inside the slumbering Weald, making sure to avoid the Weezing and Musharna floating about so that you could get to your destination quickly.
You’ve arrived, and at this point Hop puts his hands over your eyes. When he opens them, you’re met with the gorgeous sight of an altar, well hidden by the trees, and the sun gleaming down at the waters.
Hop also had matching bracelets to give to you- the two being your favourite colours with some other white beads, and a message spelling ‘I love you’ !
The rest of you spend your time peacefully talking together at the Slumbering Weald. Celebrating Valentines with Hop is him making his appreciation to you known in (what he thinks are) the best ways possible!
Kieran- Appletun pie
This is Kieran’s first Valentine’s Day with you, so he wants to make it special and last.
He’s never really been the type to plan and do extravagant things, so he settles for something that he thinks would be fun for the both of you.
And that’s through baking!
Unfortunately, the Apple trees over at Apple hills are far from blossoming at this time of year, but it’s okay! He’s got a bunch of fresh ones the two of you can use!
(His Hydrapple picks out the sweetest apples for him. Even before the two of you started dating that thing has been nothing but a wingman!)
On the day, he’s so happy when he arrives at your house!
He’s got the biggest smild smile on his face too!
“Happy Valentines S/O ! I bought you somethin’ as well :DD!”
He wants this to go as well as possible, he brings some choclate too!
Anyways, the two of you use an Appletun apple pie recipe, it’s a pie that looks plenty similar to the aforementioned Pokémon!
He’s a noob at baking too, but that does make it fun, right? If you can bake? He’s happy that there’s some experience to tag along! If not? The two of you fooling around makes it plenty enjoyable!
Speaking of fooling around… FLOUR FIGHTS >:)))
You’d probably instigate it while you’re waiting for the pie to bake in the oven, but that does not mean that Kieran is backing down in any way!
Kieran’s a competitive guy, even though you may not know it. And in some cases, his friendly competitiveness goes beyond battling on the BB Academy courts!
He’s going to reach over to smear it on your face and leave handprints on your clothes. The two of you were throwing it all over the kitchen, and boy, was it fun.
Kieran’s Hydrapple was downright terrified though. While the two of you were having fun, this poor dude was imagining the possibilities of Carmine coming in…
(She did peek in the kitchen and see the two of you fighting and she was absolutely fuming. She was about to give the both of you a piece of her mind, but even she saw how much fun the two of you were having. She must’ve felt merciful, because she left you two alone despite being livid at the mess. She was just glad to see Kieran happy in love :))
The timer for the pie goes off, and you eventually clean the kitchen to the best of your abilities. He has a spare washcloth that he lets you use to wipe the flour off where you can. Just have to hope nobody else notices the flour!
After, the two of you split the Appletun pie so there’s some for his family and some for yours!
Kieran thinks he left a memorable impression for a first Valentine’s date, and he hopes for many more!
Carmine- Late nights
Carmine would probably have a sleepover with you. But it’d be an event where the two of you go all out!
Carmine is the sort of person to do so. Going on an outing around Kitakami just isn’t her thing.
When you show up at the door, she’s got everything for the night.
Movies? Face masks? Board games? Checked right off!
She’s even decorated the living room for the occasion, taking her red blankets and pillows all down so the two of you’re cozy.
She’s so excited to spend time with you! What do you want to do first? She suggests wearing face masks while watching the all the movies she’s got to watch!
Carmine also loves physical contact, she gets super cuddly at night. For tonight, you’ll be her stuffed animal while you watch beauty and the ultra beast.
The two of you had tossed on face masks while watching the Princess and the Froakie, and all of a sudden you hear a loud yell and it’s none other than Carmine’s brother, Kieran!
He knows what a face mask is but he always gets so startled when he sees his sister wearing one…
Carmine shoos him away as soon as possible so the two of you can continue watching the movie!
Carmine is a little pouty after that mishap, but she’ll be fine.
The entire night is just a sleepover for you to focus on each other, and Carmine loves that. She loves spending time with you, and you staying over at hers is what she loves the most. She loves Kitakami, and there are good places for romantic outings, but to her what could possibly be more romantic than staying at home with your partner?
And whatever you’re doing, you should play with her hair, brush it or style it in any way you want. Carmine adores it when you do that to her, she feels so close with you!
(You enjoy it too, you’re able to get a full view of your girlfriend’s face, gazing warmly at yours.)
When you’re all settled down for the night, you and her have late night talks. She’s so in love, she could talk ti you about the most mundane things ever and she’d still look at you with the most lovesick look on her face.
Also, more cuddles, yay! She’s a big spoon, so prepare to be wrapped around her!
It’s a pretty ideal Valentine’s Day (or night in this case). Compared to the others, you simply get to laze around with your girlfriend while still having fun! And you don’t need to run everywhere!

Nemona w a gn reader who’s burnt out of battling?
Battle Burnout!
Characters: Nemona x GN! Reader!
Nemona
Nemona would be quite worried for you! She hates seeing you so down and so unusually worn out…
It absolutely hurts her to see you so unenthusiastic about battling, or training your Pokémon :(
She’d do anything and everything to cheer you up and get you interested in battling again!
Burnout is a horrible thing to go through, but to your surprise, she’s actually gone through it before!
She checks up on you very often to make sure that you’re hanging in there and not beating yourself up about the fact that you can’t get yourself to battle anymore.
Using her experience, she uses any and every method to get you into battling again, not for her sake, but for yours.
In this case, I think she’d slowly coax you out of burnout by doing activities that weren’t heavily related to battling.
For instance, bonding with your Pokémon by going on picnics with them, as well as making them sandwiches!
Playing with them and watching them run around makes you feel a tiny bit more motivated.
She’ll take care of your Pokémon’s needs too! If your Pokémon want to have a friendly battle with each other while you’re burnt out, she’s more than delighted to do it in your stead!
She gets you to watch her battles as well, hoping that just maybe she could bring back that spark.
One day, while you’re watching her from the sidelines, you feel a slightly foreign yet familiar emotion bubble up within you.
Nemona looks like she’s having so much fun with her Pokémon, and you want to experience that too!
The moment she finishes her battle you rush up to her, asking her to battle you, hastily pulling out your partner Pokémon.
They looked so excited to battle alongside you again!
And you should’ve seen the look on Nemona’s face when you asked her to battle.
She was beaming from ear to ear, practically bouncing off the walls with happiness. She was so glad she was able to get you out of your burnout, and she feels honoured that she’s the first person you want to battle with!

Nemona
Nemona would find you so cool.
When she first met you, her thought process would definitely be ‘woah, they’ve been all around the world!’ to ‘imagine all the types of Pokémon they’ve caught and seen!’ which leads to a “Let’s battle, right now!”
(It’s non-negotiable.)
When she does battle you, she enjoys doing so because of all the different Pokémon you use!
Whenever you guys have rematches, she definitely encourages you to use different Pokémon, she loves a challenge >:)
Hope you’ve caught a lot, because if you know her she’ll want a lot of battles! It doesn’t matter if that Pokémon is in Paldea’s dex; she’ll be prepared for it!
She also likes to see all your different Pokémon outside of battle!
Before she met you, she’d only seen the Paldean variant of Wooper. She had no idea that that they were blue everywhere else?? That’s so cool!
As well as that, your Galarian Meowth is so cool? She’s in awe of how different it looks compared to normal ones!
She loves your Alolan Raichu. She could spend hours observing it, it’s so cute??? She’s so fascinated at how it practically ‘surfs’ on its tail.
You’ve also got a lot of questions coming your way about your Pokémon.
As well as a lot of questions about the different regions you’ve gone to!
She’s been to Unova, Kitakami and obviously Paldea, so she’s curious about the different cultures and people around them!
You’re going to spend hours talking about the different sights, people, and culture, and she’ll be listening closely to every minute, asking about things every now and then.
She’s most interested in Galar, (unsurprisingly) due to the way battles are run there.
You’re happy to indulge her, telling her about your time battling there, and of how you made your way to the semifinals of the Galarian Champion cup, of how you were beaten by a boy similar to your age named Hop.
And since it’s all broadcasted for the world to see, you invite her to watch it with you, to which she happily obliges.
Kieran
“You’ve been all over the world?! Wowzers!”
He’s so amazed. Kieran hasn’t really gone anywhere apart from Kitakami, Unova and briefly to Paldea.
He finds it so interesting, he wants to know tons about all your different adventures around the world!
He himself actually knows quite a bit about Kanto, Johto, Hoenn and Sinnoh due to them having similar cultures to Kitakami, but enjoys your recounts nevertheless.
He’s more into places more different to his, like Unova, Kalos, Alola, Galar and Paldea however. Not to say he doesn’t like listening to your journeys in the first four! He enjoys cultural difference and variety. As said before, he’d still be enthralled to hear about them!
He enjoys hearing about the Pokémon most, especially tales about legendary creatures, and mythicals that have practically no sightings, only having been written down in history books.
Tell him about your trips to Kalos, the food you had there and the grand Lumiose Tower that would stand tall and bright. Maybe the two of you should go there together?
Or entertain him with the story of the mythical Meloetta, how its beautiful music and dance inspired many works of art, music and song.
Kieran would want to know about your hometown the most, so tell him about Galar, and what’s happened there.
He’d definitely be interested in its history and the darkest day, as well as the battling culture there.
Wait, there are videos of you battling in the Champion Cup?! He wants to see that!
“Wowzers, you’re so amazin’ , s/o!” Is all he can respond with after he sees the way you lead your Pokémon in battle.
He’s flabbergasted, simply staring at your rotom phone once he sees that the battle’s over and done with.
Expect him to ask for battle tips from you, since you placed in the semifinals!
Have you told him about Galarian culture and traditions yet?
If not, just maybe you should be bold and tell him about the tradition of handling applins to people that you like, and hope that he isn’t too flustered after finding out to reciprocate your feelings!
Penny
Penny would know instantly that you’re a Galarian. You all stick out like sore thumbs, your accents easy to recognise and your fashion as bold as a highlighter.
Maybe it was the fact she was Galarian as well, but it was really easy to tell.
You two would spend a lot of time talking about the different brands you’d shopped at, giving recommendations to each other for the next time you’d head there.
The conversations goes from Galarian brands, to Galar itself, to all sorts of regions.
“Wait, you’ve been to other regions?!”
Penny had only been to two. Her homeland, great old Galar, and Paldea!
So you having been to every one? She’s intrigued.
She might have no intention of going to other regions at the moment, but her interest was piqued when she heard that you had.
She’s most interested about the sort of adven-tours (see what I did there?) you had and the sort of Pokémon you met.
“In Sinnoh, there were these guys that went under the name Team Galactic. They had horrid hair and outfits Penny, I think they’d need Atticus to go over there and give them new clothes for them to ever be taken seriously.”
When she hears that you’ve been to Kanto, she gets so excited and proceeds to info dump about the Sailor Sun manga because that’s where the author lives, and how it has an anime!

She also likes seeing the sights there too. Show her photos of the ferris wheel you went to in Unova, or the Subway trains that you’d battle the train conductors on.
And although she’s not too big a fan of going outside herself, she enjoys looking at the Alolan beaches and how gorgeous they look at sunset. Show her Lumiose city!
She’ll be satisfied looking at anything with you!
Give her recommendations of places to go to. She probably wouldn’t consider going to them anytime soon, but she knows she’s in reliable hands when it comes to picking a place to go on holiday to.
Even after she hangs out with you and talks about all the different regions, there’s still one more thing she’s got on her mind.
She got to watch your Galar Champion Cup battles, of course!
She uses them as background noise while she’s drawing, or chilling with her veevees!

This is such a funny scenario to imagine.
Kieran suddenly wakes Terapagos up, captures it and gets it to battle you.
He’s been waiting so long for a moment like this.
All the way back from your times in Kitakami, you’d constantly beat him in battle. You’d taken everything from him. You were in on his family secret before he was, you had come out of nowhere, befriended the one Pokémon he’d believed in for ages, you showed up to his school and in a couple of days, it had been you that had taken his spot as champion. You got close with his sister! The very sister that dislikes foreigners!
You were the reason he was like this.
And if he needed a legendary to one up you, so be it. Just for once, he was going to have something to hold onto, something for himself.
He was confident that he was going to win this. He’d put so much effort into this, and he was going to give it everything he had- all his bottled up emotions from before- and use it to defeat you.
How would he lose if he had a powerful legendary on his side?
You see, what makes this so funny is that all this effort and training would quickly amount to nothing as you throw out your pokéball, letting your Pokémon into battle.
It only took a short time for Kieran to realise that Pokémon was no ordinary one.
It wasn’t in the Kitakami pokédex, nor was it in the BB Academy one.
Wowzers, he’d bet it wasn’t even in the Unovan National Dex!
Because that Pokémon was one he’d only seen in history books and lessons. That was Yveltal. It wasn’t a dream, it was completely real, you had a legendary Pokémon on your team that was known for draining the life force out of creatures and life and petrifying them.
As he battles you, all that’s in his head is ‘how’.
How are you always one-upping him?
How do you find these rare creatures?
How can he ever beat you???
(You can’t. Main character syndrome, my boy.)
Despite how hard he tried, even with the power of Terapagos, he just wasn’t able to beat you…
The battle between the two of you becomes a restless thought that constantly swirls in the corner of his mind.
So he asks you about it when you two are are on a picnic. He was just randomly reminded of it while you’re making sandwiches for your and his Pokémon.
“Hey… how… exactly did you manage to get that Yveltal? I-Isn’t it a Pokémon from Kalos’ legends or somethin’ ?”
You pause for a moment, thinking of what to say. Your reply is nothing but nonchalant, you being completely unserious about the question.
“Y’know Kieran… it just sorta happened!!!Happy little accidents!! :333”
And you just take Yveltal out of its pokéball right after, and start feeding it with the freshly made sandwich as if it’s nothing.
Kieran is shocked. Astounded, even. This teenager boy is witnessing the DOMESTICATION of a ‘mon that literally takes the life out of you 😭
Kieran is now slightly terrified of you <3
“Hey, you okay? Doesn’t Yveltal normally… drain your life force?”
He’s so concerned while you’re there feeding the destruction Pokémon as if it’s a child, looking all joyful and cheery playing with your legendary murder machine.
“Nah, it’s all good! Yveltal gets plenty of life from these epic sandwiches >:D”
You’re treating the entire thing like one big joke, you’re gonna have to reassure the poor guy that you’ll be okay ASAP‼️‼️
Hilarities (on your side only) aside, you do actually teach the guy about it, its natures and behaviours, as well as some unknown history that you’d dug up on it. The picnic turns into a fun history lesson!

Can I request Hop and Nemona with a s/o that has a pokémon that’s protective of them because of them having some trauma? Maybe a Lucario. Reader doesn’t really like being touched suddenly n stuff by others but for Hop/Nemona they’re calm around them and feel safe

Roll with the punches!
Characters: Hop x GN! reader, Nemona x GN!reader
C/W: Reader has a Lucario (and an Audino in Nemona’s part!) Very brief mentions of bullying trauma, but is fluffy overall!
Notes: Hello anon! This was quite a nice prompt to write! Tysm for sending it in, I think Hop and Nemona are two of the best choices (out of everyone I write for) to do this prompt with! I hope you enjoy reading it :D
Hop
when the two of you first met, your Lucario would constantly be on edge, growling at him constantly. Hop didn’t know why, did he do something wrong?
Whenever he’d come a bit too close for its liking, your Lucario would grow tense, giving him small blow to the side of his hip.
It didn’t help his case that Hop was a person with a very energetic and outgoing personality. It made you a jumpy, and earned him a lot of dirty looks.
After a few frequent occurrences, he boiled it down to your Lucario just being very over-protective. He did wish it wasn’t so violent though, the constant punches would leave bruises and make him sore…
(He wasn’t wrong, there was just a bit more depth to it than that.)
As the two of you grow closer, you open up to him more. You tell him of how you used to be bullied, even back when your Lucario was just a little Riolu, and how it had had such a horrid effect on you and your Lucario that you hated sudden skin-to-skin contact, and your beloved partner was much more agitated and on guard than it had previously been.
It’s when the two of you get together that your Lucario finally starts to grow friendlier around Hop.
It still keeps a watchful eye on him, however it can tell that you trust him enough to let him near.
From the moment you had told him about your past, Hop had done his very best to make sure you were as comfortable as humanly possible!
He’d still remain as eccentric as he normally is, but he makes sure to not come up and scare you suddenly.
He does come up and hug you, and you’re okay with that! You’ve grown comfortable enough around him to let him do so.
A way you let Hop know that you feel safe and relaxed is simply leaning on him, putting your head on his shoulder.
You also enjoy holding his hand, it makes you feel a lot more secure that way, and it’s become a habit between the two of you when you’re walking around Galar, especially in busy places like Motostoke, Hammerlocke and Wyndon.
As time goes on, your Lucario comes to respect Hop, even giving him small smiles when he’s near. It’s an impressive amount of change!
Nemona
Poor Nemona.
She’s so friendly, all she wants to do is battle your Lucario! And is that an Audino besides you? She’s never seen one before in Paldea, she really wants to battle one now!
She’s so energetic too it doesn’t help her case, at all. She doesn’t even realise that she’s disturbing you at first :((
If not for your Audino, I’d fear for her safety. Your Lucario was giving the nastiest looks, punches and snarls possible.
Your Audino had to soothe Lucario with her long, flowy feelers.
You find her an amazing friend to have nearby, but at the same time she’s so hyper you’re gonna have to ask her to tone it down a bit.
Luckily, your Audino’s feelers are able to calm you down, and you don’t end up breaking into panic.
When you end up asking, she does so. She did wonder why your Lucario was so angry at her! Did it perhaps not want to battle? Or did she startle the poor thing?
She does feel bad however, and does her best to make it up to you!
Your Audino immediately warms up to her. It can tell she doesn’t have any bad intentions, and lets Lucario know this too. It does grow less hostile towards her but is still on edge.
Over time as you two grow closer, you tell her why your Lucario was so hostile to others.
You used to live in Kalos, but you were bullied, which is why your partner Pokémon grew to be so temperamental. Your Audino was given to you there as a support ‘mon, and she was brilliant at her job!
To this, Nemona was incredibly understanding. She made sure not to be as sudden with her movements as she used to around you, and didn’t get into your personal bubble at all.
When the two of you get together, Lucario feels at ease seeing how happy you are with her, a drastic change from before.
When your Audino uses her feelers on you around her, she can tell that you’re incredibly calm and at peace.
Her love for you is above her love for battling, and she makes it clear really well.
You’ve told her that she doesn’t need permission to hug you, as long as it isn’t sudden or harsh, but she still makes sure just so you don’t get startled!
You tend to initiate hugs a lot. Nemona likes this; it’s a drastic contrast to when the two of you had first met. You came off a lot more shy and reserved, but the reason why was absolutely fine!
When with you, she manages to retain her excitement to a degree so she won’t come off as overwhelming (which may startle you and your Pokémon,) but she’s still the same old Nemona, raring to go and battle!
(I do think Nemona is quite easy to get along with in the first place, she’s the type of person that can change her mood and mannerisms to try accommodate the person while still managing to be herself.)
Before, your Lucario would snarl and attempt to throw jabs at Nemona. But nowadays, he actually goes up to her and hugs her. He might’ve been too agitated to notice, but since their species can sense auras, he notices Nemona’s is quite calm, although a strong passion to battle is there!

Notes: Hello anon! Thank you for requesting and sorry it took so long to write up! I had so many different ideas in mind but I couldn’t figure out how to write it just the way I wanted. Nevertheless, this was a super fun idea and I hope you enjoy reading this as much as I did writing it!
Kieran
Your and Kieran’s relationship could be perfectly described as a dog owner straining to hold its feisty dog.
And Kieran’s friends (and sister) were surprised. Out of everyone Kieran could’ve possibly gotten with, you?!
See, you were infamous over at BB Academy for your violent and reckless behaviour, causing trouble for both teachers and students alike with the amount of fights you’d take part in.
But Kieran doesn’t mind that a bit! He’ll try prevent you from picking fights with people, but that can only do so much :’)
He actually looks up to you in a way, he admires you for your confidence and bravery.
Carmine was incredibly wary of you at first and would do just about anything and everything to make sure you wouldn’t harm Kieran.
She was proven wrong in so many ways though!
You were always so sweet and attentive, checking up on him and making sure he wasn’t overworking himself.
Compared to how you’d yell at others in the hallways, your voice was uncharacteristically soft spoken around him.
You’d always share your snacks with him, sometimes even bringing him food you’d made to share!
He was so much happier than before, and his eye-bags were close to non-existent at that point! Give yourself a pat on the back, you’ve done incredibly well.
(And earned Carmine’s trust, that’s even harder to do!)
He tends to be the one to patch you up after fights if you do get injured at all!
He tries to make sure you attend classes more often, if you don’t he’s disappointed.
“S/o, you need to attend classes more, otherwise you won’t learn anything and you’ll get held back like Drayton >:(”
There was a time that some students were talking bad about Kieran, picking on him for how he’d acted while he was champion.
Of course he knew that how he’d behaved wasn’t okay in the slightest, but he really was trying to change :c
When you’re with him next, you notice how downcast he is. After getting him to tell you what happened, you managed to track down and have a ‘friendly chat’ with said students!
Next thing you know, they’re profusely apologising to him the next day, and they stay out of his hair from then on.
(He isn’t completely dumb, he knows you had something to do with it, but he didn’t say anything about it, since it did benefit him in the end.)
The school also takes note of the fact that you’re involved in less fights, and you attend classes more often now!
Kieran has as much of a positive impact on you as you do on him <3
Ortega
I think that you and Ortega would go way back, even before the creation of team star. The two of you were childhood friends.
You and Ortega would be bullied by others, however you would always snap back.
Being insulted by Ortega would definitely sting, but you know what would hurt more? One of your punches <33
When you were young, your personality was hot headed and confrontational, whilst being compassionate and standing up for what you believed in.
You were incredibly good at fighting, and you’d cause a ruckus for anyone that’d do wrong.
Vandalism, violence and threats were things you weren’t afraid to do if people had decided to bully.
You’d only go so far however, knowing that two wrongs don’t make a right, to a certain extent.
You two were each other’s flint and steel, you needed each other to make sparks.
(So The rest of team star was not surprised in the slightest when you two started dating!)
It’s also no surprise that you yourself are in team star. The group aren’t really a bunch of delinquents like you may be, they’re more misunderstood.
But any companion (or partner) of Ortega’s is an immediate friend of theirs!
Also, you can pretty much skip school whenever, it’s pretty much a load off your back and you don’t have to deal with bullies at school-
(Not that there really are any left there anyways…)
Moving onto the present, seeing the two of you interact is the biggest sort of visual whiplash there is.
Ortega is known for his snide remarks, and you’re just the walking and talking form of chaos, so seeing the two of you together so calm is incredibly uncanny.
The two of you walking hand in hand, smiling and talking about fairy types could make anyone pull a double take!
With you, the boy feels very protected, it’s as if you’ve cast an aromatic mist over him!
Sometimes, Ortega does worry about your violent tendencies getting out of hand, and does try to make sure you reel it in just a tad bit, just to keep yourself out of trouble!
You would bring a lot of comfort to Ortega. He finds you to be quite a soothing person, always open to listening to what he has to say.
You don’t care about the same things people would nitpick and bully him for, you would always stand up for him in those situations, even if it meant you getting in trouble.
Over the years, the two have you have been super supportive of each other.
He’s happy that he’s the one that gets to be on the receiving end of your kindness!
The two of you are just absolutely perfect for each other- that’s one thing any and everyone in team star can agree on.
Even if you’re a violent troublemaker, and Ortega is a snarky and snappy guy, the two of you bring the best out of each other, and that’s as plain as day!

Poképlushies:Pt.3!
You really enjoy creating pokemon plushies so you decide to surprise your partner with them!
Characters: Hop, Bede & Marnie!
Hop
For Hop, you decided to gift him a decently sized Wooloo plushie!
You made it using actual Wooloo fur and made it extra soft on the inside!
So when you give it to him, he looks at you in surprise.
He looks at you, the plushie, and then you again.
Physical embodiment of the :o emoji
He’s so happy when he realises it really is for him!
From then on he swears to take perfect care of the wooloo plushie. He treats it as if it’s his own living breathing Pokémon!
He tells Leon as soon as he can, and the moment he comes back home he shows it to him in person!
He might be busy quite a lot of the time, training up his pokemon, making sure they’re strong and in tip-top shape, or spending time at the Pokémon research lab, but he makes sure that plushie wooloo is still squeaky clean!
When you visit his house you’re surprised that it was as still as clean as when you first gave it to him
This was because in his free time, he’d made sure to wash it really nicely!
He doesn’t bring it with him though. It’s too big to fit with him, it takes up too much room in his bag :((
But whenever he’s at home in Wedgehurst, he does sleep with it! It’s the perfect size for cuddling, and he loves that Wooloo so much <33
Bede
For Bede, you wanted to get him something small.
Even though he specialised in fairy types, you wanted to get him something that was memorable and nostalgic!
So you made him a tiny Hatenna, big enough to cuddle with but small enough that it could fit in his bag!
He wouldn’t carry it everywhere with him, but if he was staying in a certain area for longer than 5 days, he’d bring it with him.
Bede really adores it. It reminds him of when he was a little boy, his Hatenna was the first Pokémon he’d ever received. It brought him a lot of happiness, and even now, he enjoys looking at the sweet little Poképlush.
He also loves the fact that it’s from you!
I think this ties in with the fact that one of Bede’s love languages is gift giving, from both ends!
He’s sometimes unable to show how he feels about you to the extent he wants to, so he thinks of gifts to be a surefire way to show his love for you.
I feel like a conversation held between the two of you several days later would play out like this:
“Bede, what did you think of the Hatenna I made for you?”
And he’d look at you and say “it’s nice, thank you for making it for me,” with his small signature smirk.
On the inside though???
This dude would have so much to say about it, but he just can’t find the words for it!
Marnie
You made Marnie a Morpeko, a similar size to the one she owns!
Initially, her Morpeko was confused. It didn’t register the fact that it was just a plushie, so it spent a few moments trying to talk it.
It was funny for a bit, however Morpeko realised what was up, and left it alone after.
Marnie takes it home with her later, simply sitting in silence, gazing at it in awe. She loves how detailed it was, and she loved how much effort you’d put into making it look like her own.
She’s also 100% the type of girl to have a room filled to the brim with stuffed animals and hug them at night.
Now she’s found a new cuddle buddy with her Morpeko plushie!
She sleeps with it every night now, it reminds her of you <3
Although Marnie is out a lot, she likes coming back home because she gets to hug the Morpeko plushie a lot!
That said, Marnie would never forgive herself it she accidentally got it torn or dirtied in any way, she’d be very upset about it
Even when you tell her you can just wash the stain out or sew it back up she’s still really mad at herself for letting it happen :((
But that’s just a hypothetical, it’s still squeaky clean and she intends to keep it that way!
Your plushie Morpeko has successfully made its way onto a permanent spot on Marnie’s bed, as well as her heart. Be proud!

First Date!
Pairing: Hop x GN Reader! (Request!)
Notes: Hii anon, I accidentally deleted your ask, I’m so sorry! But I hope you enjoy this drabble! I hope the work isn’t too bad, I haven’t written anything proper in a while :cc and I wasn’t sure if you wanted me to write some short hcs or a little drabble, so I did both! I’m working on a Poképlushies for the Galar rivals :DD tysm for sending me a request, and I hope you enjoy!
Hop is quite a nervous boy, but he’s a gentleman, and he can be a romantic if he tries c:
For a first date, he’d put a lot of thought into it!
He’d ask Leon and Sonia for advice and think of a while before he finally thinks of the perfect first date!
He decides to take you on an evening stroll around Wedgehurst!
It looks best when the sun sets, and Wegdehurst itself is pretty much quiet in the first place.
The wooloo are all settling down to rest by that time!
He’s thought about making this first date perfect, he hopes you’ll love it!
Hop hastily knocks at your door, hands trembling with anticipation. He’s been waiting for this day for a while now. He’d been working and planning earnestly to make sure this date went just right, and today would be the day all his efforts would bear fruit! He’d gotten advice from both Leon and Sonia, to which the two had answered any questions and lessened his worries. Now it was time for him to put it into action, and he was sure nothing would go wrong. He hears the rapid sounds of footsteps before the door opens, and out you come!
“Hop, is that you? Hello!”
Hop feels as skittish as a baby wooloo trying to walk for the first time the moment he sees you. Even when the two of you were just friends, you’ve always had the ability to take his breath away, and even as your boyfriend, it still works like a charm.
“Hey s/o! You look brilliant!” Hop stutters.
You quickly notice that he’s not in his normal attire today. He’s still dressed casually, but there’s a sort of class in what he’s wearing that enchants you, and the longer you look at him, the quicker you feel your cheeks growing warm.
“Shall we go now?” He asks, holding his hand out to you. You hurriedly take it in yours, hopping down the steps of your front porch to start walking with him. And when you do, you feel millions of tiny little butterflies swirl and dance inside your stomach.
The two of you walk through Wedgehurst’s fields, the sunset casting a glorious lighting over the both of you, and you can’t help but be astonished. You nudge your boyfriend slightly, your gaze still fixated on the sky.
“Hey, isn’t the sunset beautiful?”
Hop’s view is on you, yet he still answers with that energetic “Yes!” that you’re used to hearing on many different occasions.
The two of you stay there for a while before trailing down the path. As time goes by, Hop is able to feel more relaxed. He was able to talk to you easier, look you in the eyes without forgetting how to function, and it became a lot less awkward, with less silence in between sentences.
His time with you blurs, and before you know it the sky is completely dark, and you’re back where you began, just outside your house.
“Y’know, this date with you has been amazing Hop- you’ve been amazing,” you start. “I really hope we get to go out again like this soon,”
“Me too,” Hop replies. “You’re the sweetest person I know and I’m so glad that we’re together. I’m really happy that I got to spend that time with you, and that I get to be with you!”
“Please do take me out again soon, Hop. I’ll be glad to go anywhere with you! I’ll see you around,” You say, starting to head in. You turn around though, hurrying down the stairs once again, this time delivering a soft and gentle peck to the boy’s cheek. You grin, before daring back in your home, leaving Hop starstruck, touching his cheek.
That night, he goes to sleep with the biggest grin on his face, mind filled with sugar-sweet dreams of you and him.
