Robin chose Steve. Robin made the conscious and deliberate decision that she could and would trust Steve. She already liked him! She had fun working and bantering with him! They were already on their way to being weird little bffs and the torture just expedited the process. Steve chose Robin just the same! He thinks she's fun and cool and likes her so much! He chose to be honest and open with her too, putting himself out there.

Even though their interests on the surface level don't match why wouldn't they share them? Steve clearly caves when Robin wants to watch a movie he doesn't think he'll like, Robin can watch a March madness game or five.

Stop trying to take away their bond oh my god people can be close to more than one person!!! Their best friend doesn't have to be dismissive or mean or whatever in order for a romance to be special to them!

has anyone gotten the idea that odysseus' storyline in hades 2 is a depiction/exploration of trauma over his SA and how he's blaming himself for things that were out of his control? because that's the impression i'm getting from what i've seen. he talks about "goddesses" as his "greatest weakness" and that "he's not one to say no to them"...

when mel invites him to the bath, he brings up mortals having different standards for intimacy than gods and how it usually has a more romantic/sexual connotation. she then asks if he's uncomfortable and he has a startled reaction and brings up circe and calypso again (but never actually by name)

(this isn't ship/romance bait btw. odysseus knew mel as a kid and they're stated in-game to have a sibling/uncle-niece relationship)

also he grew apart from penelope after his return, but the game makes a point of showing that his love for penelope and telemachus is what drove him on at all so that element of his character isn't brought into question

It’s so bizarre to me that I can just go on tumblr and talk to hundreds of people who ship Thoschei just as much, if not more, than I do. Because most of the Doctor who fans I know in real life have either only seen classic who or new who, or they’re like my mom, and only watched 9 and David Tennant. I know it’s not that niche of a ship but I have yet to meet a fellow thoschei shipper irl.

I've managed to infiltrate the small House of Ashes community on Tiktok and it really did take me by surprise to see just how much they despise Jason 😭

They even conjured up the combo of Jacist (Jason x Racist) to properly express their dislike for this man 🥴

Honestly, even as a diehard Jalim shipper, I can kinda see where they are coming from as he did start off as the biggest asshole ever. But it's precisely because of his character growth that I love him so much !!

For me personally, it's cozy watching someone who started off as "bad" be given a second chance to grow into a better person 🌱
