Happy Johnlock Day!!!
I know Valentine's isn't here yet, but I wanted to make a drawing for it anyway. So, Happy (very early) Valentine's Day!
I finished my Granada Holmes/Johnlock Valentine's Day drawing!! I hope you enjoy!! 💛💛
Holmes got his beloved poisonous flowers and Watson received some sweets. I love them.
The cafe is a cafe I use in my comics. It's called "Witches Cap - Cafe and Roast". Like I said in my last post, I always enjoy putting characters in it. [:
(Sorry for the wonky lines.)
(Edit: everyone is saying such sweet things, thank you lot so much!! 💛😭)
𝙀𝙙𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙙 𝙃𝙖𝙧𝙙𝙬𝙞𝙘𝙠𝙚: "..what I did feel very strongly about playing Watson with Holmes is that two people who work together in those circumstances have to have a lot of humor, there has to be a lot of laughter.
I consciously remember thinking every time there was an opportunity to bring out that sense of humor between the two people, the fact that you could smile about certain things that Holmes would say, or laugh at things that he would say, umm, seemed to me very important. It seems to me people who work together in a rather difficult job tend to laugh a lot."
one of holmes and watson's love languages is lighting each other's cigarettes. our victorian husbands will use any excuse to touch each other's hands inside or outside 221b 😌
"'l'homme c'est rien. l'oeuvre c'est tout" translated to english is "the man is nothing. the work is everything." this is so true for holmes in many aspects of his life, but there is and always will be one man who is everything to him
W.I.P. drawing of Granada Holmes/Johnlock fanart! Don't mind my handwriting and odd colour choices at the moment. I just wanted to get some ideas down. That will definitely not be the final colour palette. I love these two so much, so I wanted to make an early Valentine's Day-themed drawing. They are at a cafe that is in one of my comics. I always love putting many different characters in it. Anyway, enjoy the W.I.P.!! 💛💛
(Sorry for the shit quality. Also, John got sweets for Valentine's Day and Sherlock got a vase of poisonous flowers.)
(I am currently drawing this half asleep, so I am sorry for the shit and wobbly lineart. [': )
anyways! Sherlock fandom!! how did you get into Sherlock? was it always a book/show that interested you? did you only recently get into it or have you been a fan for a while??
tell you what, and i'm not proud of it, but my first Sherlock Holmes thing i watched was...Sherlock Holmes and The Great Escape. yes, the furry Sherlock. I BET YOUR REASONS ARE BETTER!!
The way the Granada series showed Watson falling in perfect step with the soldier and his way to introduce himself to the major... that's incredible. Truly, they found a perfect way to pass to us not used to the proper and 'civilian' way to carry handkerchiefs that Watson does look like the former soldier he is and none can mistake him for anything else.
Plus the way Holmes is ABSOLUTELY NOT AMUSED to find himself in that place and Watson stiff bearing are perfect for the situation. Watson wants to state that he in in his right being there and he's in no way as comfortable as he wants to look, Holmes is downright unhappy to be there and that WATSON is being so stiff and anxious too, i think.
