do any of you ever think about how you get to exist here on the planet with everyone and everything you love for a little while
do any of you ever feel happy and grateful that you are fortunate enough to live at the same time in the same world as everyone you love :/

[awakens from my thousand year slumber] pseudo-tangled au inspired by Crowley insisting Gabriel can't go outside — Beelzebub, knowing that Gabriel is somewhere in the bookshop, goes to scope things out before Shax's invasion, and runs into Jim, Aziraphale's clueless, idiotic, cute human (?) assistant.
Jim, wanting to see The Outside, but scared from Crowley and Aziraphale's warnings, promises Beez that he'll help them find Gabriel (he probably thinks Gabriel is a type of book, especially since Beelzebub never seems to hear him when he tells them people call him Gabriel) if they can safely show him The Outside.
After eluding a frantic Crowley and Aziraphale, running from the police (how was Jim supposed to know he couldn't just walk out of places with Shiny Things??), seeing the strange and wonderful things The Outside has to offer, dancing at a Human Music Festival, getting Jim better clothes, and Jim somehow saving Beelzebub from being tracked down by heaven, Beelzebub finds themself reluctantly charmed by the silly, strange human (??)
Especially since something about him seems so familiar...

btw in absolutely unsurprising news I fucked up the exam of that class I'm taking for the third time badly again.
in very surprising news, apparently Something happened, idk if the dean said something to the professor or I looked like a distressed broken down wet rat enough or he just doesn't want to see me in his class again or idk, maybe it's not good for him if someone fails his class three times, but he actually offered that I could do a written exam on friday instead? which. is extremely surprising. good, because it gives me another afternoon to study and I can draw and go back to questions on a written exam, even if I have to shuffle around the other exams and papers now, just. very surprising.

Okay so like, Amazing Spider-Man #800 was bad, but this moment from #799 lives in my head rent free...
...and I just thought of the STUPIDEST, most patently self-indulgent follow-up.
Flash picking himself up slowly, wiping the blood off his face and staring at Norman and yelling, "I'm no 'toy soldier', asshole! the only 'toy' I've ever been was Harry and Liz's boytoy, and I enjoyed every fucking minute of it!"
(I don't know if it's better or worse if Liz and/or Harry are there to overhear it, since in the actual issue they're gone by the time Norman tries to taunt his son. However I do think it would be really funny if Harry overheard Flash's impassioned if very inappropriately timed speech. He probably turns as red as his Carnage-ized father; Liz just yells, "this is NOT the time, Flash!")
Anyways. Flash Thompson is their third, etc etc.

Call me your good toy
Talk to your friends about what a sweet pretty dolly you have without acknowledging that I'm in the room
Interrupt me if I start talking to them because dolls don't think for themselves and obviously whatever you want to say is more important
After all you're a person and I'm just a doll
And dolls are for being pretty and played with, not having thoughts

Saturday Six (Stuff)
Haven't done one of these in a while. Just been blah lately. Life is just trucking along. No work really. I've been finishing up tax/accounting stuff. (。-ω-)ノ
Had a huge fight with Dad (the parents, but mom was mostly trying to mediate, ha) about money and jobs. Boomers obviously have no clue about the job market, especially here. You can't just "network" and get a job. And a lot of employers don't want to hire someone who's had/has their own business. Sigh... I'm sofa king tired of life sometimes. (;*´Д`)ノ
Leeloo continues to be a nut, but she's also adorable.o(^・x・^)o
Trying to stay positive in this environment is so hard, especially after this week. And when you're not really a positive person anyway, ugh. Yeah...(⑅ ‘﹃’ )
I really hate that the supportive TV families that I watched growing up messed me up. Because I don't have that.(’-’*)
It's been really rainy here lately. I like it because at least it matches the mood/vibe I've got going on. (︶︹︺)
