Well, seeing as this IS a SHIP swap AU, and I am swapping the major canon ships(AKA both members were named in canon, and they were actually together), that means some of the moms have been switched with their husbands! So, how did their stories change?

Ruka Rengoku -> After saving Obanai(who is switched with Mitsuri) much earlier than in canon, Shinjurou fell ill. He kept going on missions pretty much until he died, leaving Ruka a widow with two young sons to raise and the Demon Slayers without a Flame Hashira. Ruka, however, took it in stride as best she could. She mourned her husband, comforted her boys, then got to work. It didn't take her long to become a Slayer, having begun training in secret when Shinjurou developed symptoms, and was the new Flame Hashira within three years. However , she always insisted she was only ensuring the position was filled until either Kyojurou and Senjurou were eligible to fill the spot. During her time in the Corps, she also trained her sons as best she could, and rescued a little girl from the same island Shinjurou had picked up Obanai on. After Kyojurou became eligible to fill the position of Flame Hashira, Ruka stepped down from the Corps.

Kie Kamado -> After Tanjirou and Nezuko disappeared, their loss took its toll on both Kamado parents. After all, it was their first son and first daughter that went missing. They could never replace any of their kids with new children, much less their eldest two. Both parents ran themselves ragged trying to keep themselves mentally and financially afloat, while also taking care of their remaining and future children. Kie fell ill during her last pregnancy; Rokuta. She could barely leave bed, leaving her husband to take over her chores. Were it not for Kanao and Zenitsu, who had become part of the family thanks to Tanjurou and Saburou, she didn't doubt Tanjurou would have worked himself into sickness as well. When the day came for her to deliver her sixth and final child, it was nigh impossible for Kie just to stay conscious. She knew she wasn't going to make it long past the birth. A part of her wondered whether she would see her eldest children again, on the other side. But another part of her desperately hoped they were still alive, and would find their way home someday. Kie passed away moments after her last son was brought into the world, and watched her family until they joined her in the afterlife.

Amane Ubuyashiki -> Amane, like the rest of her family line, was born with her fate decided because of Muzan Kibutsuji. She would die before she reached thirty years of age. Despite that, she led the Demon Slayers with grace and patience ever since she was four years old. Very few have seen anything other than a serene neutrality upon her face, even among the Hashira. Her often unwavering expression is considered unnerving by some, and awe-inspiring by others. She's often accompanied by her husband, Kagaya, or one of their five children, especially when the Curse took her sight. She is a woman of steel resolve, and is often considered a maternal or elder sister-like figure to the Slayers under her command. Despite her frail appearance, she is not to be underestimated. She more than makes up for her physical weakness with an excellent strategic mind, something she had ensured she developed upon becoming the Mistress of the Demon Slayer Corps. Some say that skill has been passed on to her children.

I got to the ending if TGAAC 1-3 tonight.

What an ending it was! I can’t believe it took us this long for Ace Attorney to finally go there and imply that your client might have been guilty all along. But you don’t have enough proof to show it, so the defendant walks free, even though you have a feeling they’re not innocent.

Ryunosuke is definitely having a rough start to his career. And then Barok van Zieks is having a rough return from… retirement? Hiatus? Something like that.

I couldn’t help but sympathize with both lawyers in the courtroom because something very fishy happened in this trial and neither side found the truth!

I feel like this case left a dangling plot thread for a larger conspiracy later on.

I wonder if my prediction will be correct.

I’ll find out as I make more progress. I also hope I’ll see Sholmes again sometime soon!
