Friendly reminder that Crowley asked Aziraphale to run away with him before and Aziraphale told him that he had something to do (saving Earth), so this isn't new. Aziraphale is selfless by nature, and he will always put the world and other beings before himself. It was just unfortunate that he didn't see how much it hurt Crowley. And it was unfortunate that Crowley didn't understand why Aziraphale had to stay.
As Nina and Maggie said, they'd spent 6,000 years not talking about their feelings. So, it's no wonder that the first time they try to there was a load of miscommunication and things going unsaid.
David Tennant, Michael Sheen AND Neil Gaiman know these characters better than anyone, and I trust them. They've been very vocal about their love for one another.
Crowley and Aziraphale will be together again. They're soulmates. They're ineffable. But they're very bad at communicating with one another about their feelings. And we're all on the journey with them.

THE COCOA ON AZIRAPHALE'S COLLAR AS HE SAYS 'I CAN SEE THAT'
they totally had a fight (in which cocoa may or may not have been thrown) and crowley had to go outside for like. 2 seconds to summon a bolt of lighting to calm down (he couldn't stand to be away any longer). this is so fucking funny to me for reasons unknown

You know that specific incredibly close codependent friendship you had as a young teen that got weird emotionally because you and the other person were both repressing some things about yourselves? And then you both turned out to be queer, and looking back, the friendship was totally valid but there was also definitely a crush happening? And it became a really important formative experience for you? That's Aziraphale and Crowley.

I don't think Crowley is going to be a "jealous" type in Good Omens season two; I think he's going to be angry and upset about the fact that Aziraphale is consciously helping someone that bullied and ridiculed him for centuries. He's going to be angry at everything and everyone except Aziraphale.
And I think that our little demon is going to learn about forgiveness through his love for his angel.
I think that's such a beautiful concept. Jealousy doesn't suit Crowley, but anger and frustration does.
And maybe Crowley is also angry that Nina and Maggie have forgiven him for his misdeeds. And then he has to deal with a load of forgiveness from Hell. And from Heaven. And from God Herself. He's just done with forgiveness.
Until Aziraphale reminds him that he forgave him too. And then he learns to forgive himself.
