I saw a car with a sticker "angel on board" recently, and I bet it is what Crowley jokingly puts on the Bentley at some point

Maybe after S03. Who knows.

Season 1 Crowleys since I can't work on anything else without something in the back of my brain slamming pots in the name of the husbands.

I like to think that the scene in E1, when Crowley very slightly scoots towards Aziraphale and Aziraphale lifts his wing to protect him from the rain, it’s both of them trying to figure out where they stand. When they first knew each other, as angels, Crowley did the same for Aziraphale. Lifted his wing to protect him.

So now, when they see each other again, they’re cautious. They introduce themselves like they’ve never met. And when the rain starts, Crowley scoots closer, a silent question of “is this still okay? Are we still okay? Is this closeness still allowed?” And Aziraphale, who already gave away his sword and plans to not tell God about it, who seems to still care about Crowley, demon or not, responds with that protection, an unspoken confirmation that yes, yes this is still okay, yes this can be fine.

That’s how I like to see it, at least.

What I love about the end of Season 1 is that Aziraphale is looking at Crowley like, 'Honeybunches! Look!'

And Crowley goes, 'Oh yeah, what is it babe?'

Then Aziraphale just leans towards him, places his hand down firmly, and looks like he is saying: 'Look at that person over there! I know that cake wasn't on the menu! Oh it looks so nice...'

I can imagine Crowley, as a result, goes, 'What, like the cake in front of you?' while snapping his fingers so now there is, in fact, an identical piece of cake in front of Aziraphale 🥲

My Good Omens head-canons for periods of time in the 1900s Aziraphale and Crowley happened upon each other (because they live in my head rent free): -They stumbled upon each other on the titanic in 1912, Aziraphale tried blaming Crowley for the boat hitting the iceberg (God's doing not his). -They met and briefly spoke with Alan Turing sometime in 1945. -They were both present to witness Queen Elizabeth II coronation in 1953 (Crowley was hard at work with the M6 but spared time for this important event) -Aziraphale tried visiting America again in 1963 and he happened to be at a lovely parade gone terribly wrong. He happened to spot Crowley holding an Umbrella across from where he was standing. Crowley claims he didn't do anything, Aziraphale highly doubts it for a long time) -They both got absurdly drunk in the bookshop together in 1969 once man reached the moon because were they suppose to be able to do that? -Aziraphale called Crowley to help him install and use his new computer sometime in the 1980s. -Crowley tried convincing Aziraphale to go on the London eye when it opened in 1999 (the angel likes staying put on the ground thank you very much, they compromised and went to dinner instead).

The line at the beginning of GO when God says “not by people being fundamentally good or fundamentally bad, but by people being fundamentally people.” Is super important to me for one main reason: that’s how I’m always going to see Crowley and Aziraphale.

Sure. One of them is an angel. One is a demon. If you say that to just about anybody, they’re going to tell you one is good and one is bad. By definition. But that’s not TRUE for them. Aziraphale and Crowley have lived on Earth quite literally forever. They’ve been here since day one, for thousands of years, among humans. We’ve seen that they’ve adopted some of their ways, their customs, their mannerisms. People see them and think they’re just a couple of wacky people, because they’re basically just that. A couple of wacky people.

They literally spend S1 stopping the apocalypse, which everyone says is God’s plan, because people don’t deserve this. Because humans, who to most angels and demons are nothing more than a means to an end, deserve better than to be destroyed simply because angels and demons say it should be so. That’s not a mindset most angels/demons have, if any at all have it.

Crowley and Aziraphale have gotten this far, with each other, by being so close to the humans that most just look at them and see more people. Not by being fundamentally good, or fundamentally bad. But by being, fundamentally, people.
